Maluma + Carin León

Latin global music idol Maluma joins forces with Mexican singer-songwriter Carin León for new single, “Según Quién”, fusing two genres, creating a pop-norteño song destined to become an anthem for those who claim to be over love. Listen to “Según Quién” HERE.

The music video was produced by Royalty Films under the direction of Maluma and Cesar “Tes” Pimienta and filmed in Nashville, Tennessee, where you can appreciate Maluma and Carin Leon, belting out the heartfelt track in a bar and healing their heartache with tequila and music. “Según Quién” was written by Juan Luis Londoño Arias “Maluma”, Edgar Barrera, Kevyn Cruz Moreno “Keiytin”, Lenin Yorney Palacios “Lexus” and Luis Miguel Gómez Castaño “Casta”; and produced by Edgar Barrera.

The track will be part of his next album Don Juan, that is set to be released globally on 25th August.

Secret Garden Sunday brunch launches at the CIVILIAN Hotel’s Rosevale Kitchen + Cocktail Room.

Rockwell Group designs a spectacular indoor courtyard dining experience in the heart of Manhattan’s theatre district. After an eventful work week, it’s a chique parlor where patrons can gather and unwind. Because the venue is completely covered, this summer’s tropical weather with sporadic showers won’t put a damper on plans. In fact, the picturesque plaza is a perfect getaway for two to six people seeking a social scene with some serious sips. The Wanamaker Playhouse, presented in a small glass chamber with mist, offers an array of nectars: white peach, raspberry puree, and orange juice. Intended to be mixed with Luca Paretti prosecco, this tableside service nicely pairs with most of their menu items. For starters, Grapefruit + Mint, a chilled appetizer, comes with candied hazelnuts. Or, a scrumptious salad with cesar dressing offers just enough tang before the entrees arrive. Wagyu hash and smoked salmon on a bagel were our favorite dishes. It’s a nice departure from the basic bacon and eggs served at several spots.

The local is lavish and layered with various accouterments that add to the ambiance. Clerestory windows, floral arrangements coupled with statement fixtures sprinkled throughout created a memorable citadel refuge. Moreover, the bunker’s rustic silhouette was further pronounced with a vintage door, handmade chandelier alongside a ginormous custom floral banquette by Preston Bailey. It all played nicely off the burnt orange mosaics which permeated the position.

Lastly, Carver Road Hospitality‘s level of service was pristine and polished, resulting in a serene sanctuary of decadence.

NLE CHOPPA – STOMP EM OUT

Memphis-bred rap phenom NLE Choppa uncovers a new high-energy dance music video for “STOMP EM OUT” with Duke Deuce. Watch HERE via NLE Entertainment/Warner Records. It serves as the next single from his acclaimed new album Cottonwood 2 (Deluxe)—available now. Listen HERE.

The music video brings these two hometown heroes back to Memphis, TN. In between shots of Beale Street, NLE Choppa raps intensely on stage and from the sidewalk. Flexing his dance skills, the kinetic choreography moves in lock-step with the track’s hard-hitting hook and pulsating groove. Duke Deuce pulls up surrounded by friends as the ultimate dance party ensues.

Rosevale NYC

Rosevale NYC is a chic, yet precocious bar with a lot of life from the 1920s. A reasonably gracious dining experience delicately decorated. As soon as you enter the vestibule, you are instantly teleported into the world of boutique glamour and regency motif. Dimly lit and comfortable – ideal for a custom cocktail.

Service is regal. Steak tartare first and crab cake second. Succulent and full of flavor. Cleansed our pallets with a Bloody Mary and a Spicy Encounter apéritif. Soon after, we were enthusiastically approached by someone in leadership, smartly dressed and prepared for supper service. After all, we are nestled in the heart of Broadway as well as enamored by the dinner theatre ritual.

One thing for sure, the adjourned hotel within arm’s length, matched its energy. The glazed glass separated us from seduction. Finally, a magnificent phantom lodge with a hot companion. Furthermore, there is absolutely nothing ‘pedestrian’ about the Civilian that is reminiscent of the Hollywood Roosevelt with guests preparing for their misdeeds.

Out came the piping hot Pork chops in tandem with a duck entree. Subsequently, a side of Mac and cheese, creamy and innocuous makes an appearance. Finally, a panna cotta slab of cheesecake designed by the best baristas rewarded by Sirha Lyon.

Afterwards, we embarked on a tour of the compact campus. Immediately confronted by a gigantic spiral staircase which spilt into a rustic yet contemporary bar on level two. Ultimately, we elevator climbed into an abyss of skyscrapers on the 28th floor, bearing a wraparound balcony with breath-taking panoramic views of Alicia Keys‘ former stomping grounds, Hell’s Kitchen.

In sum, it’s a perfect venue for a celebratory evening and/or a romantic rendezvous.

Travis Japan – Candy Kiss

Following the release of their digital EP, Moving Pieces, Travis Japan released their newest funky-pop song, “Candy Kiss” on Monday, July 3rd, via Capitol Records. In addition, the music video for the track has also been released. You can listen to “Candy Kiss” HERE and watch the music video HERE.

“Candy Kiss” was choreographed by Nicky Anderson, who has done choreography for K-POP sensation BTS and Travis Japan’s debut song, “JUST DANCE!”. Directed by YUANN, the founder of the Japanese creative group kidzfromnowhere, the music video features a grand space setting using CGI and special effects makeup to help portray the plot line. In the music video, Travis Japan gets captured by aliens through their captivating choreography inspired by blowing kisses and enchanting the universe with their dance. The music video showcases colorful costumes, departing from the chic image of their previous release.

With the release of “Candy Kiss”, Travis Japan is eager to share their charm and charisma with the world as they head onto their next sweet chapter.
