Hotel Californian, a mainstay destination in Santa Barbara’s bustling Funk Zone neighborhood, will enter the festive season with new talent in the kitchen and several captivating food and wine experiences.

Recent appointments to the hotel’s talented culinary team include Chef de Cuisine Joshua Legrand and returning Executive Pastry Chef Ron Viloria who are collaborating with Executive Chef Travis Watson to infuse inspiring new gastronomic experiences into the hotel’s many dining venues.Legrand spent the last decade as a chef with Boulder, Colorado-based Id Est Hospitality Group, led by James Beard Nominated Chef Kelly Whitaker. During his tenure, Legrand headed several of the group’s kitchens and oversaw high-profile openings including BASTA, BRUTØ and The Wolf’s Tailor. Viloria returned to Hotel Californian as Executive Pastry Chef earlier this year and will continue to champion the creation of exceptional baked goods and confections from scratch each day.

The hotel’s consciously expanded culinary team will host several events – in-person and virtually – in the coming weeks. Beyond the kitchen, locals and visitors can now indulge in a reimagined cocktail menu at Blackbird, Hotel Californian’s signature restaurant, and sip on fan favorites at Djinn, the Moroccan-inspired library bar. Additionally, the hotel’s popular tasting room, The Society: State & Mason, has welcomed new Foley Family Wines addition, Silverado Vineyards, to its selection of more than 70 world-class wines.

“Hotel Californian’s iconoclastic spirit truly echoes throughout the highly appealing updates we have made to our food and beverage program,” said Warren Nocon, Executive Vice President of Foley Entertainment Group’s Hospitality division. “With these new offerings and the thoughtful development to our culinary leadership team, we look forward to continue celebrating some of life’s greatest passions with our guests: world-class wines and exquisite cuisine.”

The hotel’s latest enhancements further its commitment to showcasing Central California as a world-class culinary destination on the American Riviera, providing the exploration and indulgence of a European vacation – without the passport. Located in the heart of the pulsating Funk Zone, bustling with galleries, wineries, and shops housed in converted warehouses adorned with graffiti murals and signature art pieces, Hotel Californian offers visitors easy access to explore the area’s cool factor while enjoying traditional Santa Barbara glamour.

Capturing the hotel’s exotic and unconventional vibe, the new cocktail menu available at Blackbird includes concoctions like The Tramp, an ode to Charlie Chaplin’s most memorable on-screen character, to On the Ice, which thoughtfully brings the Foley Family’s growing portfolio of entertainment properties together in a single glass, playing tribute to the players on the Vegas Golden Knights and the Henderson Silver Knights. At Djinn, visitors will find familiar favorites such as Midnight in Morocco, a mix of Volcan tequila blanco, violette, orgeat, lime, Luxardo liqueur, and firewater bitters, and the Just Chai Me, an unusual blend of Copper & Kings apple brandy, Rittenhouse rye, and chai syrup that’s like a sip of the season.

RENEÉ RAPP – Everything To Everyone

RISING POP STAR RENEÉ RAPP DROPS

EMOTIONAL DEBUT EP EVERYTHING TO EVERYONE

LISTEN HERE

Today, singer, actress and performer Reneé Rapp releases her emotionally raw debut EP Everything to Everyone via Interscope Records. The seven-song set is stacked with soaring ballads and polished pop anthems that highlight The Sex Lives of College Girls star’s vocal prowess and versatile talent.

Everything to Everyone (Interscope Records) by Reneé Rapp is now available at all digital retailers HERE

The stripped-back title track and EP opener explores Rapp’s desire to show up for the important people in her life. Next up is the multi-hyphenate’s breakout single In the Kitchen,”which reflects on a doomed relationship, and a brand new track titled “Colorado” that expresses her desire to leave Los Angeles behind. It’s the kind of unfiltered anthem that made her most recent release, “Don’t Tell My Mom,” so gut-wrenching. On the track, Rapp details her tumultuous, tight knit relationship with her mother. “Don’t tell my mom, I’m fallin’ apart,” she belts over minimal synths. “She hurts when I hurt, my scars are her scars.” The EP is rounded out by the songs “What Can I Do,” “Too Well,” and “Moon,” each of which showcases a slightly different shade of Rapp’s musical palate. It’s the kind of collection with a song for every mood or emotional state.

After probably 4 years of talking about putting out a project— my EP is here”, Rapp says of the new release. “I’m anxious and super fucking excited for you to hear. I hope you love it. and if you don’t love it, please don’t tell me. I’m super sensitive.”

The EP follows the singles “Don’t Tell My Mom,” “In the Kitchen,” and “Tattoos,” which have amassed more than 22 million combined streams. Throughout her career, Rapp has displayed a knack for captivating audiences with vibrant performances and unbridled energy. Outside of music, she stars in the hit HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls, which has its season 2 premiere next week. It’s a role that calls for brilliant comedic timing and dramatic prowess, both of which the newcomer has in spades. With Everything to Everyone, Rapp underlines the breadth and depth of her talent, veering from soaring ballads to uptempo pop anthems without missing a beat.

ABOUT RENEÉ RAPP:

Reneé Rapp knew she was born to perform ever since she was a child. Even in her earliest memories, her love of music was always present. “I couldn’t sit still in the car unless there was music,” she says. “Otherwise, I would cry the entire time.” The North Carolina native began harnessing her natural creativity by writing and recording songs when she was just a teenager. Eventually, her career took off when she landed the coveted role of Regina George in the Tony-nominated Mean Girls musical on Broadway. Shortly after, she found widespread recognition and praise—from the likes of W, Harper’s Bazaar, and The Hollywood Report for her performance as “Leighton” on the HBO Max series “The Sex Lives of College Girls” written by Mindy Kaling. Now, more empowered than ever, Rapp turns her attention back to music, where sharing threadbare insecurities on “Tattoos” is just the beginning. “I was called ‘crazy’ a lot growing up because I didn’t know what was going on with me,” she says. “As I got older and started going to therapy, I reclaimed the word in a way that feels good to me.” In this song and in the rest of her music to come Rapp leans into a uniquely bold showcase of vulnerability to connect with her ever-growing fandom. Eager to continue to share her emotions with the world, Reneé has much more music on the way under her recent signing to Interscope Records.

Louis Vuitton Pre-Spring 2023

Louis Vuitton’s diverse Ready-to-Wear selection this season, offering stand-out pieces guaranteed to break necks. As conceived by the late Menswear Creative Director, Virgil Abloh, the Men’s Fall In Love Collection and Men’s Pre-Spring 2023 Collection are the ultimate embodiment of his renowned artistry. Also from Louis Vuitton, and as designed by acclaimed Womenswear Designer, Nicolas Ghesquière, is the Women’s Cruise 2023 Collection.

MEN’S PRE-SPRING 2023 COLLECTION Combining bold graphics, patterns, and prints, the Louis Vuitton Pre-Spring 2023 Collection explores the recurring themes of boyhood and coming-of-age, featuring oversized silhouettes, boyish shorts-suits, and vintage style varsity jackets.

MEN’S FALL IN LOVE COLLECTION Louis Vuitton’s Pre-Spring 2023 Collection “Fall In Love,” inspired by the legendary NYC loft parties of David Mancuso. Iconic DJ and music visionary, Mancuso, played music under a banner reading “Love Will Save The Day” tracing all the way back to the 1970’s. He is popularly considered the first DJ ever, a profession that Virgil Abloh believed to be akin to that of a designer– and even practiced himself. The “Fall in Love” Pre-Spring 2023 collection was conceived by Virgil and carried out by his creative teams and collaborators, where they explore how dress codes can be used to promote anti-prejudice and egalitarianism. Echoing David Mancuso’s full record sets, the “Fall In Love” collection mirrors a complete wardrobe. The new designs resemble silhouettes from the 1970’s such as wide-leg and flared trousers, snug jackets, and roll-neck tops, all with the ever present Louis Vuitton elevated approach evident throughout.

WOMEN’S CRUISE 2023 COLLECTION This collection plays with elements. The Artistic Director chose metallic fabrics and embellishments that reflected the setting sun, some as glassy as mirrors, and other materials that offered protection from it, wrapping long swathes of linen, for example, around the head and across the body. Other pieces lifted design details from water sports; the airbrushed colors of half tops and boxy short skirts apparently came from jet skis. Ghesquière is a designer whose collections are minutely pored over and studied, and some of these gestures looked like callbacks to earlier seasons, only amplified, maximal where he used to be minimal and streamlined. The sun is the Artistic Director’s guest of honor in the Cruise 2023 collection, playing an active part in the evolution of this wardrobe where changes in temperature set a stylistic tempo. The unique light of the West Coast creates prisms across shimmering silhouettes, while a myriad of natural materials gives the illusion of a metallic palette.

EVERRATI UNVEILS WORLD’S FIRST ELECTRIFIED PORSCHE 911 964 WIDE BODY CABRIOLET VIA 360 MAGAZINE.

EVERRATI’S ELECTRIFIED PORSCHE

EVERRATI UNVEILS WORLD’S FIRST ELECTRIFIED PORSCHE 911 964 WIDE BODY CABRIOLET

Everrati Automotive Limited (Everrati), the leading global technology company specialising in redefining and futureproofing automotive icons, reveals its electrified Porsche 911 (964) Wide Body Cabriolet model – the first of its kind in the world.

Bringing together open-top zero-emission motoring with iconic design, Everrati’s latest model offers a truly unique experience, with thrilling performance thanks to its state-of-the-art OEM-grade EV powertrain, but one that also majors on clean air.

As large-scale manufacturers focus their resources on the production of hardtop EVs, convertible EV options are scarce. Everrati is preserving the unique hood-down driving experience, offering buyers a choice beyond that of mainstream brands by combining timeless styling with the very latest in EV technology.

Developed in the UK – the so-named convertible capital of Europe – the 964 Wide Body Cabriolet is capable of delivering supercar levels of roof-down performance year-round. The 964 Wide Body Cabriolet is built upon Everrati’s desire to positively contribute towards reducing air pollution, allowing top-down driving to be enjoyed to the maximum.

Extensively engineered at Everrati’s global headquarters in Oxfordshire, England, the Wide Body Cabriolet, like all the company’s models, combines a full restoration with the installation of sector-leading IP blended with technology from the best Tier 1 automotive suppliers.

As well as the UK and Europe, another key market for the new addition is the US, where Everrati has a partnership with Aria Group. Based in Irvine, California, Aria has peerless expertise in low-volume, high-end vehicle engineering and production supporting world-leading OEMs and reimagination specialist. This arrangement enables 964 manufacturing on both sides of the Atlantic.

With more than double the output of the original Porsche 911 (964) Cabriolet on which it is based, the 964 Wide Body Cabriolet is available in 440bhp or 500bhp forms; the latter can accelerate from 0-60mph in under four seconds with a total driving range of 200 miles thanks to its 62kWh battery.

Everrati has worked meticulously to preserve the original ‘feel’ and character of the Porsche 911 (964) Cabriolet through the optimisation of weight distribution, chassis response and safety and enhance the performance of the original, reinvigorating its soul. With its optional fully adjustable TracTive suspension system, owners can select a variety of modes to suit their mood.

The 964 Wide Body Cabriolet uses a donor chassis and body – selected for its provenance and condition – as the basis for restoration and electrification. At the core of Everrati’s engineering philosophy is the ability to fully reverse all modifications, allowing owners to revert the car back to its original specification if desired, and to preserve provenance into the future.

Founder and CEO of Everrati, Justin Lunny, said: “We are delighted to be expanding our product offering with a world-first in the form of our Porsche 911 (964) Wide Body Cabriolet. Everrati prides itself on enhancing the original ‘feel’ and character of iconic cars, and the pure open-top driving experience of the 964 Cabriolet, now combined with state-of-the-art EV power, means our customers can enjoy convertible thrills in truly sustainable, 21-century style. At present, the options open to buyers in the convertible EV market are extremely scarce, and we are proud to have created a cutting-edge convertible EV above and beyond what mainstream manufacturers are delivering.

“Arriving at a time where demand for our electrified classics has never been higher, the 964 Wide Body Cabriolet will form a key part of our product offering as we further ramp up global production in partnership with Aria Group.”

Everrati’s current model line-up includes:

Porsche 911 (964) Coupe, Targa, Cabriolet in Pure, Signature, and officially licenced Gulf Signature Editions Land Rover ‘Series’ IIA
