Three-time Grammy® Award-winning and multiplatinum selling artists Pentatonix have announced A Pentatonix Christmas Tour, which kicks off in Chicago on December 3rd with 3 nights at The Chicago Theatre and concludes just before Christmas with 3 shows at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. The concerts will be the group’s first to feature songs from their 3 hugely successful holiday albums. SELENA GOMEZ “FETISH”: BEHIND THE SCENES

The 24-year-old pop singer released a new song, “Fetish,” featuring Gucci ManeJonas Jeberg and The Futuristics produced the breathy number, the second single from her upcoming third studio album, SG2. She first teased the title of “Fetish” at the end of her ’70s-themed music video for “Bad Liar,” which was directed by Jesse Peretz and premiered in June. Gomez recently released the behind the scenes video, which looks into the production of the music video itself.

Gomez currently has two singles on the Billboard Hot 100: “Bad Liar” and “It Ain’t Me.”

PRINCE

The Prince Estate, alongside Pantone Color Institute™, the global color authority, announced today the creation of a standardized custom color to represent and honor international icon, Prince. The (naturally) purple hue, represented by his “Love Symbol #2” was inspired by his custom-made Yamaha purple piano, which was originally scheduled to go on tour with the performer before his untimely passing at the age of 57. The color pays tribute to Prince’s indelible mark on music, art, fashion and culture. The announcement was first made on Refinery29, read here

Prince’s association with the color purple was galvanized in 1984 with the release of the film Purple Rain, along with its Academy Award-winning soundtrack featuring the eponymous song. While the spectrum of the color purple will still be used in respect to the “Purple One,” Love Symbol #2, will be the official color across the brand he left behind.

 
“The color purple was synonymous with who Prince was and will always be. This is an incredible way for his legacy to live on forever,” said Troy Carter, Entertainment Advisor to Prince’s Estate.

 
The ‘Purple One’ made a statement and challenged cultural norms through both his well-known music and personal style. In addition to the Oscar, Prince won seven Grammy Awards and a Golden Globe Award for Purple Rain. Both “Purple Rain” and “1999” were entered into the Grammy Hall of Fame, and Prince was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004, the very first year he was eligible.

August 1, 2017 — Hollywood, CA — Today, Catfish and the Bottlemen join Green Day for their Revolution Radio summer tour. The run starts tonight in Auburn, WA and hits amphitheaters, stadiums, and arenas across the country, including iconic venues such as The Oakland Coliseum, Wrigley Field in Chicago, and the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. In addition to the Revolution Radio dates, the BRIT Award-winning UK band also announced they will play their final headline show from their sophomore album The Ride [May 2016, Capitol Records] at Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas on September 15. Tickets are on-sale now and available HERE.

 

Catfish and the Bottlemen have been touring nonstop for a year in support The Ride. From their recent U.S. tour, The Salt Lake Tribune wrote, “With loud sound and hunger for the road, Catfish and the Bottlemen have grown into headliners.” Overseas, in addition to sold-out headline shows at Wembley Arena and Liverpool Arena, they’re now also headlining festivals — most recently, Community Festival in London to over 40,000 fans.
