As anticipation builds for his first-ever U.S. headline tour, today MNEK brings us the biting new video for his single “Girlfriend.” Directed by MNEK in collaboration with up-coming director, Jordan Rossi, the video for “Girlfriend” can be viewed HERE.

Following the release of his critically acclaimed full-length debut album, Language, [Capitol Records],

MNEK is switching up the well-worn cliché of the “cheating boyfriend” music video narrative for the 21st century, contrasting one interpretation of what a conventional relationship should or could be and what it actually is.

The visual is a collage of both narrative and performance setups reminiscent of old school 1990s music videos that inspired both MNEK and Jordan. “Building the aesthetic was one of my favourite parts of the process.” Jordan explains. “Uzo had a really clear idea of what he wanted going in, so it was great to build on that and develop it further. I grew up on those old school 90s videos that everyone remembers from George Michael and Usher to Kelis and Destiny’s Child. It was really fun going back and forth with all these references and seeing how we could use them to elevate our video to the next level.”

MNEK’s U.S. headline tour sees him touch down stateside for shows in six major markets across the country, beginning February 19 at Bowery Ballroom in New York City, a night at the famed Troubadourin Los Angeles, CA on February 26, and concluding February 27 at Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco, CA. Toledo, OH singer-songwriter Mat Kerekes has shared “Diamonds”, the anthemic second single off his forthcoming solo album, expected later this year. Best known as lead vocalist of celebrated alt rock band Citizen, Kerekes presents his softer side and showcases his versatility as a singer-songwriter on his new solo material. Lord Huron Announces 2019 North American Summer Tour

This summer, Lord Huron make their much-anticipated return to the road in North America with a string of new tour dates.

The critically-acclaimed Los Angeles band launches this headline run on July 14 in Indianapolis, IN and wraps up on August 11 in Redmond, WA. The tour crosses the country and takes the band into their largest venues to date, including Los Angeles’ famed Hollywood Bowl, Columbia, MD’s The Chrysalis at Merriweather Park and The Chicago Theatre.

Multi-platinum selling recording artist Sheppard is back with a brand-new single “On My Way” – available now via your preferred music platform!
