Italian techno duo Tale Of Us will return to Hï Ibiza for another season of carefully curated, immersive and forward-thinking Afterlife events. With a reputation for sensory stimulating soundtracks and spectacular production concepts, the season kicks off on June 27th with a suitably sizeable line-up of names from the techno vanguard taking over both rooms of the world class venue.

Afterlife is not just about assembling a list of DJs, it is about Tale Of Us drawing on a wide sphere of artistic influences under their now iconic Afterlife man insignia. Each and every week throughout summer they curate nights of innovative music, complemented by bespoke visuals and lighting, specially designed installations and thought-provoking production that takes you into a brand new party dimension. The attention to detail is unrivalled and the club’s state of the art sound system delivers the music in crystal clear quality so you feel it as well as hear it.

The line-up for the opening party sets a high standard with Stephan Bodzin, one of techno’s most accomplished live performers, bringing the ultimate experience, together with Maceo Plex’s astral sound that has made him one of the most in demand DJs of the day. Add in Afterlife regulars Mind Against and the hosts Tale Of Us and you have a truly comprehensive night of dance music. In the Club Room, Berghain icons Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann bring linear, hypnotic and widescreen takes on techno. Dystopian label boss Rødhåd brings his dark and atmospheric style, after Afterlife label artist Vaal has set the tone.

The full season line-ups will be revealed soon, but rest assured they draw on many facets of house and techno from the day’s key players, best live acts, hottest new names and most valued pioneers – an eclectic mix of returning favourites and debutants.

Sting Announces New Album ‘My Songs’ To Be Released May 24th. Collection features contemporary interpretations of his most celebrated hits available on multiple formats including a deluxe edition. Sting has announced ‘My Songs’, a new album comprised of the 17-time Grammy Award winner’s most celebrated hits from his unparalleled career, each reshaped and reimagined for 2019. ‘My Songs’ (Cherrytree/A&M/Interscope) will be released on May 24 in multiple formats including a deluxe edition featuring bonus content (see below for track listings). Speaking on his approach to the album, Sting says: “‘My Songs’ is my life in songs.”

‘My Songs’ boasts modernized recordings, faithful to the original arrangements and celebrates Sting’s illustrious musical career as one of the world’s most distinctive and influential artists. Since forming The Police in 1977 with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers, Sting has evolved into one of the world’s most iconic artists, selling 100 million records and earning the highest accolades along the way. Fans can expect to hear Sting’s own fresh approach to hits including “Englishman In New York,” “Fields Of Gold,” “Shape Of My Heart,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Roxanne,” “Message In A Bottle” and many more. The album will also be accompanied by new liner notes written by Sting, in which he shares the personal stories behind each song and provides insight into how some of the most enduring songs of all time were written.

Never one to stand still, in the summer of 2018, following his collaborative album release with Shaggy – the Grammy Award-winning chart-topping record ‘44/876’ – the iconic duo launched a world tour through North America, South America, Eastern Europe and this year will extend to the UK for a series of intimate shows from May 19th – 25th. These collaborative performances will be followed by Sting’s own, solo ‘My Songs’ tour this summer – a dynamic show featuring the most beloved songs written by Sting spanning his prolific career, accompanied by an electric, rock ensemble. Myke Towers ascends with “Si se da” on the Billboard charts with the collaboration of Farruko

Myke Towers surprises fans on the night of Premios Tu Música Urbano 2019

The new promise of the urban genre, Myke Towers and his song “Si se da”, along with Farruko, have quickly caught on the popularity charts. This week, upload to position # 23 of Hot Latin Songs.

“Si se da,” a song produced by Montana The Producer, also debuted # 22 on the Billboard Latin Streaming Songs list, ranked # 8 on Spotify’s Global Viral 50 listing and reached # 8 on YouTube Billboard Chart.

Under the record label Casablanca Records and One World Music and the distribution of GLAD Empire, the song “Si se da” has its own music video directed by Cristian Suau, who in less than a month has more than 65 million views on YouTube.

“The support we have had with ‘Si se da’ has been incredible, it is a blessing to have the support of the new public and those who have supported me from the beginning,” said Towers.

Additionally, the consolidated international artist, made an unforgettable presentation in the first edition of the Urban Music Awards 2019, held in the emblematic Coliseum of Puerto Rico.

The artist surprised an entire audience, who did not expect his presentation on stage, when the singer Farruko made the call to interpret his song as a whole. The audience went crazy and together with the new Puerto Rican idol, they sang together the lyrics of the song “Si se da”.

The young exponent is also promoting his theme, “No garments I shine,” along with the charismatic rapper, Jon Z. It is among the most popular videos of the week on YouTube, with more than 3 million views to just days of its premiere.

SKY FERREIRA Releases New Song “Downhill Lullaby”

Today the critically-acclaimed and multi-dimensional artist Sky Ferreira releases her new song ‘Downhill Lullaby’.  The track is produced by Sky Ferreira and Dean Hurley with co-production by Jorge Elbrecht. ‘Downhill Lullaby’ is the first taste of her upcoming album, Masochism, out later this year, and was recorded in and arranged in Los Angeles and Copenhagen. LISTEN HERE. The lush track clocks in at nearly six minutes and features spiraling strings, a stripped-down drum beat, and a detuned guitar riff. As the song builds to its conclusion, Sky addresses her subject with a tinge of retribution. Ferreira has also recently collaborated with a pair of British rock icons. Having appeared on Primal Screams ‘Where the Light Gets In’ for their 2016 Chaosmosis. Ferreira also sang on The Jesus + Mary Chains 2017 album Damage & Joy, guesting on the song ‘Black and Blues’  She also released a cover of ‘Til Tuesday’s Voices Carry’.

In addition to her music career, Sky Ferreira has blossomed as an actor, appearing in feature films including Edgar Wright’s Baby Driver (to the Nigel Godrich-produced soundtrack of which Ferreira also contributed a cover song of The Commodores. She acted alongside Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood in The Trust, in the 2016 comedy-drama film Elvis & Nixon directed by Liza Johnson, in Jonas Kerlund’s Lords of Chaos and in the Ridley Scott-produced American Woman, directed by the film legend’s on Jake Scott. She also lit up the small screen in David Lynch’s 2017 Twin Peaks reboot, where she made a lasting impression on fans and delivered the series-best line of dialogue about a penguin. Sky Ferreira’s previous album, “Night Time, My Time”, was included on Best Album of the Year lists in The New York Times, Stereogum, NPR, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, The Guardian, Complex and more.

UK/European 10 Year Anniversary

In celebration of the 10th anniversary of their break through record and cult album ‘Music For Men’, Gossip are reuniting for a special UK/European tour. The shows will bring the band together on stage for the first time since going on hiatus in 2012. The ‘Music For Men’ anniversary tour kicks off in France on July 4th, and wraps up in Dublin August 18th. The UK leg of the tour will also see stops in London, Glasgow & Manchester.

Described as “a raised fist of a record” (Guardian), “the disco record of the year” (Uncut) and “The greatest punk rock ‘n’ roll disco soul band on the planet”(NME); Gossip hit their prime with the release of critically acclaimed album ‘Music For Men’ in 2009. King Design at LA Fashion Week

Now a permanent feature on the international fashion week circuit, LA Fashion Week held their three-night event at the Petersen Automotive Museum this past weekend, March 22 through March 24. On the third and final night of LA Fashion Week, the events began with the unveiling of King Designs Fall/Winter Collection by female designer Jessica King.

Billie Eilish’s “Bury A Friend” vibrated through the speakers as the first two models made their way down the runway in both black and green versions of King’s Python One Shoulder Swimsuit.

The collection is full of waterproof holographic and reflective prints, python reminiscent patterns, hand dyed bralettes, leather bottoms, velvet and chains. The line combines streetwear, swimwear and sportswear in a unique and enthralling way. The body types of each model varied, reflecting the clothing line’s range of sizes from X-small to X-large and the designers inclusive views on fashion. No two models looked alike, bringing a fresh air of diversity to the runway.

Jessica King herself graciously received her applause at the end of the show in an all black ensemble featuring a one shoulder top from the Fall/Winter collection and chainwork hanging from her belted ankle-length skirt.
