Bündchen to Counsel Company on Environmental and Social Objectives

DraftKings Launches Earth Day DFS Contest as First Step to Reach Goal of Planting of 1,000,000 Trees

DraftKings Inc. (Nasdaq: DKNG) announced the appointment of Gisele Bündchen, environmental activist, philanthropist and former super model, as a special advisor to the company’s CEO and board of directors for environmental, social, and governance (“ESG”) initiatives.

“Gisele Bündchen is a global icon who has utilized the platform she established in modeling, fashion, and entertainment, to lead and advocate for vital environmental and social causes,” said Jason Robins, co-founder, CEO and Chairman of the Board of DraftKings. “I believe that the strategic counsel and unique global perspective that Gisele brings to me and the board will be indispensable and, as evidenced by our Earth Day campaign, her impact will be immediate and far-reaching.”

As outlined in the company’s recently released inaugural ESG report, DraftKings is committed to fighting global sustainable development challenges, including climate change, in alignment with the U.N.’s sustainability development goals. In collaboration with Bündchen, DraftKings has set a goal of planting 1 million trees by Earth Day 2022. As an initial step, DraftKings has launched several opportunities for customers to directly support the effort, including through charity daily fantasy sports contests and free-to-play pools. In coordination with the Arbor Day Foundation, DraftKings has pledged to plant the first 100,000 trees in several U.S. states, including California, Florida, Michigan, Oregon, Vermont and Virginia.

“I look forward to working with the DraftKings board of directors in continuing to find ways to make the most positive impacts through meaningful social and environmental initiatives,” says Bündchen. “It is very important for successful corporations to make the necessary shifts in ESG initiatives to truly make a difference on a global level. In today’s world, in my opinion, it isn’t enough for companies to just be successful financially. Companies have to be successful in ALL areas, including social impact and sustainability initiatives that impact the future for all of us around the world.”

Bündchen has been recognized in Time Magazine’s 100 Most Influential People in the World and 100 Fashion Icons lists, appeared in hundreds of campaigns for the most prominent and iconic brands, graced more than 1,200 magazine covers worldwide and walked the runway in close to 500 fashion shows. In 2020, she launched the Viva a Vida initiative which raised funds to plant over 260,000 trees along the Xingu and Araguaia River in the Brazilian Amazon Rainforest. Bündchen has also served as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations Environmental Program since 2009.

Ariana Grande × The Voice

Multi-platinum global recording artist, Grammy Award winner, and talented actress Ariana Grande will join the upcoming Fall 2021 cycle of NBC’s “The Voice” as a coach.

Grande, a powerhouse vocalist whose international fan base of “Arianators” has enabled her to rapidly become one of the biggest pop superstars of our generation, will be joined by returning iconic coaches Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Blake Shelton, along with host Carson Daly, on the four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series.

With her most recent album, “Positions,” recently breaking the record for most songs to debut at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and cementing her as Spotify’s most-streamed female artist of the past decade, Grande, a self-proclaimed fan of “The Voice,” claims a red chair at a pivotal point in her career.

“As an undeniable force in pop music, Ariana’s inimitable success in the music industry is extraordinary,” said Jenny Groom, Executive Vice President of Unscripted Content for NBCUniversal Television and Streaming. “We were thrilled to learn that she is a true fan of ‘The Voice’ and know that this enthusiasm will add to her impact as a dynamic coach. Said Grande, “I’m so honored and excited to join ‘The Voice’ family! I have been a huge fan of the show for such a long time. I can’t wait to go head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists, and help to take their craft to the next level.”

A Grammy-winning, multi-platinum recording artist and international superstar, Ariana Grande was the first artist to hold the top three Billboard Hot 100 spots since the Beatles in 1964 with “7 Rings,” “Break Up with Your Girlfriend, I’m Bored,” and “Thank U, Next.” In 2020, she became the first and only artist to have five singles debuts at #1 in the chart’s history. At age 27, she has delivered five platinum-selling albums and surpassed 35 billion streams – she’s Spotify’s most-streamed female artist of the past decade – while rapidly becoming one of the biggest pop stars of our generation with her powerhouse vocals and unmatched presence both on stage and with her fans. She recently won a Grammy for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Rain on Me” with Lady Gaga.

K-Pop Cravity × “Bad Habits” Release

K-POP GROUP, CRAVITY, RELEASE

PERFORMANCE VIDEO FOR BAD HABITS

OFF THEIR 3RD ALBUM, SEASON3. [HIDEOUT: BE OUR VOICE]

K-Pop boy band, CRAVITY, has released their highly anticipated performance video for “Bad Habits” today. The B-side track is off their 3rd album, SEASON3. [HIDEOUT: BE OUR VOICE], released earlier this year. With an ambitious drive to turn the year 2021 into CRAVITY’s, the members wasted no time speaking to places like Good Day New YorkiHeartET CanadaRadio.com, and many more, about their success thus far and the creative process behind the album.

“We shot the performance video for “Bad Habits” using many new techniques we haven’t tried before, for example, shooting with night vision or lip-syncing to a lower angle camera through a glass pane. The dance routine was really fun to perform and suits the mood of the song really well,” says Rapper Allen. The leader of the group, Serim, adds “We had a very short time to prepare for our B-side track promotion, but we’ve worked super hard to complete it in success.”

The main theme for the performance video of “Bad Habits” is ‘Nocturnal,’ and viewers can see the members’ dynamic moves and performance on the night of the full moon. They’ve turned into bad boys with funky visuals and will draw full attention by showing more matured and developed skills. The song “Bad Habits” is meant to showcase a different side of the CRAVITY members with a more rough and tough persona. The lyrics tell a story of 9 members who will not collapse in this world but will clearly show their own way to survive through it. EXY from K-Pop Group Cosmic Girls (WJSN) participated as a lyricist on this track with underground trap beats. In addition, 3 CRAVITY members [Taeyoung, Allen, and Hyeongjun] participated in the draft version of the “Bad Habits” choreography, further showing their artistic abilities.

MORE INFO:

CRAVITY’s debut album, released in April 2020, SEASON1. [HIDEOUT: REMEMBER WHO WE ARE] caused a wave of intrigue and excitement here in the states, with mentions in PAPER MagazineAccessiHeartJ-14MTV NewsEarmilkTeen Vogueand Rolling Stonewho referred to their title track as “An anthemic track from the K-pop rookies that combines 808-style riffs with the melodic sensibilities of early-2000s boybands (extended dance break included).” In addition to that, CRAVITY made a splash on social media, debuting at No. 12 on Billboard’s Social 50 chart for the week dated April 25.

CRAVITY has also garnered the title “Super Rookie” over in Korea due to their debut album’s success, which hit No. 1 on the U.S. @iTunes Top K-Pop Albums chart, making them the first #Kpop rookie group to debut in 2020 to earn this achievement. CRAVITY has marked their relentless movement, sweeping the rookie of the year awards at various music awards ceremonies in Korea. Even after releasing only two albums, their achievements were more than enough to show their presence in the K-pop scene, giving them the title ‘2020 super rookie.’

The inspiration behind the name, CRAVITY, came to fruition through the combination of “Creativity” and “Gravity,” Starship Entertainment’s new boy band for the first time in five years since Monsta X. Consisting of nine members, [Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin], CRAVITY, which is also an acronym for “Center of Gravity,” is meant to attract/gravitate listeners into their unique universe, by pulling them in with their creativity, charm, and pure talent. As humans, we all have our own “first experiences,”; whether that be in school, society, or in a relationship. When encountering new relationships, we sometimes prepare ourselves by running from the starting line at full speed, hearts racing, butterflies in our stomach, but at the same time, we are afraid. We are hopeful, but we also experience despair.

Oates Song Fest 7908

The legendary John Oates of Hall & Oates and his wife, Aimee, are producing a free, virtual concert aimed at fighting hunger across America: Oates Song Fest 7908. The Oates are co-hosting the event with internet sensation, Saxsquatch, and are partnering with a league of star-studded performers including Dave Grohl, Sammy Hagar, Daryl Hall, Dan+Shay, Darius Rucker, Sara Bareilles, Bob Weir, Shawn Colvin, Gavin DeGraw, Matt Nathanson, Louis York, Quinn Sullivan, Infinity Song and Jewel. Additionally, there will be guest appearances by Monica, Angie Harmon, Hayley Orrantia and more.

All donations and proceeds from the event will go to Feeding America®. Feeding America estimates that more than 50 million people may face hunger in the U.S. because of coronavirus, which is 1 in 6 people, and 1 in 4 children. During the Oates Song Fest 7908 broadcast, viewers will be able to donate via a unique QR code and at this website. Oates Song Fest 7908 is streaming on NugsTV on March 20, 2021 at 8pm ET. The link for the virtual streaming concert can be found here.

Here at 360 Magazine, we chatted with John Oates about his inspiration for creating the festival, exciting celebrity collaborations, and the new song that he wrote especially for this virtual performance.

Besides the entirety of the pandemic itself, was there any particular occurrence that originally inspired you and Aimee to produce OATES SONG FEST 7908?

We were asked to revive a show that we produced in 2010 called the 7908 Aspen Songwriters Festival (7,908 ft. being the altitude of Aspen, CO). When we realized that we couldn’t have a live audience, we pivoted to the idea of doing a virtual version with a charitable component. That’s when we reached out to FeedingAmerica and NugsTV to be our streaming partners.

How did you decide on the line-up of artists to headline this fest?

Many of the artists were actually involved in the original Aspen Festival 10 years ago and most of the others are friends, or someone who we really admire.

Where did you originally discover Saxsquatch, and why were they picked as co-host?

My wife Aimee discovered Saxsquach online and turned me on to him. We reached out on Instagram and began to come up with an idea to collaborate on a project…I can’t give it away, but we will debut a special video that we did together on the Oates Song Fest 7908 and trust me, you won’t want to miss it!

What songs are you most looking forward to performing at OATES SONG FEST 7908?

It wouldn’t be fair not to mention every artist since they have all been so gracious to donate their time and music. I will say that I’m going to end the show with a brand-new song that I wrote for this performance.

Where will you be performing during your set?

I will be performing from an empty theatre in Nashville and my set will be in the middle and end of the show.

How do you work to create an immersive concert viewing experience online while operating virtually?

We will have a very entertaining variety of diverse and multi-generational musicians and celebrities who will make special appearances throughout.

How can listeners donate to Feeding America during the concert stream?

During the broadcast of “Oates Song Fest 7908” viewers will be able to donate via a unique QR code and at this website.

COPERNI AW21 – FIRST EVER ‘DRIVE-IN’ RUNWAY

Release the new AW21 collection with Adut, Leon Dame and more at huge Paris arena with the WORLDS-FIRST drive-in catwalk

Preamble

Coperni has always given priority to the sun, to daylight, to clear and distinct ideas. But with the sun cometh the night. She shows the world differently – guiding us as always, but also urging in a new time – a time to welcome in the unpredictable. Whether it’s midnight or midday, the night is our window to see what is possible.

Experience

70 participants depart from their homes in 35 electric cars. Each vehicle will navigate the streets of Paris before arriving in the great hall of the Accord Arena in Bercy, the 12th arrondissement of the City of Light. The cars and their passengers will move into the darkness of the empty hall – enough space for over 20,000 in normal times. The choreography takes place after the vehicles have moved into formation, becoming an integral part of the catwalk. The car radios turn on and announce the start of filming. Each individual set of headlights will light up as the first model passes by, allowing participants to view the collection through their car window.

Collection

The Winter 21 collection is an exploration into the complexity and the mystery of nighttime as we know it: sometimes pitch-black, sometimes dotted with stars, sometimes illuminated by the moon. The night time of celebration, of seduction and of plunging into the unknown is opposed to the nighttime of sleep, of resting our bodies and allowing dreams to take over our mind and our soul.

Frank and dynamic cuts on classic silhouettes let us glimpse the skin lying beneath. The shoulders are raised, the arms are slender – ready to enter into the darkness. Sensuality arises from a play on zipped draping. A second skin of mesh opposes the moving fringes. Bags in the shape of a padlock suggest something locked away in darkness. Maximized forms lead us towards calmness, reconciliation and time for ourselves. Softness protects the body and light becomes therapy. This night will be an experience.
