Diesel NFT inside 360 MAGAZINE

DIESEL NFT

After a debut NFT collab with The Fabricant and Neuno recently, DIESEL’s place in the metaverse is expanding. Today, the company launches D:VERSE, a new NFT (non-fungible token) Collection that spans between the IRL and the virtual.

D:VERSE is an engaging platform that includes unique NFT editions of runway showpieces, as well as physical (and limited-run) garments, sneakers and accessories. It also provides access to the D:VERSE family – via which DIESEL NFT holders will be able to meet through a private Discord channel – and to the D:VERSE-KEY, a token that will give exclusive rights for discounted NFT pre-sales, raffles, free airdrops, additional metaverse wearables, and news about new gaming and projects that DIESEL will continue to build for its community.

DIESEL is kicking off D:VERSE with a NFT collection drop of one-of-a-kind showpieces from the Fall/Winter 2022 collection, which was just shown in Milan. These hero products (a fur jacket, a puffer jacket, a sneaker and an accessory) will be available on a first come, first serve basis until sold out—and one such NFT will be ultra-rare, in an edition of 1, with an exclusive auction taking place via Rarible, a DIESEL partner, on March 12.

The transformation of these physical products into the digital realm will come with a special customization-option dedicated to this launch. The limited-edition sneakers, in particular, will have a color-way released with a vote that’s determined by DIESEL’s NFT owners.

Subscription to D:VERSE’s Whitelist closes on the evening of March 10. This Whitelist sign-up gives users access to a pre-sale window for the first NFT drop. Then, the public sale starts on March 12 and will only be available for 55 hours.

Old money and cryptocurrencies are accepted, and, through the platform, DIESEL will offer a tutorial for setting up an e-wallet. Plus, if you’re not a crypto-head, don’t worry: NFTs will also be available to purchase on nft.diesel.com

Simple Steps to Promote Your Music Group

Do you know how to promote your band or yourself? Do you think it’s too much for a young musician to handle? You need to realize that it’s not as hard as you think. Just take concrete steps of music pr and avoid the frequent mistakes of many aspiring musicians.

A beginner musician should have a certain strategy or a plan to promote his music, band, and brand. You should be able to “sell” yourself and your music. To do that, follow the steps described below.

Promotion Steps

Come up with an original name for your band or your musical nickname. You need to be very careful about this. Your name or nickname should reflect the essence of your music and be bright and easy to remember at that. It’s not an easy task.

Invest in your music. Did you think of money? If so, you were only partly right. You should also invest your time, effort, persistence, and work. But money matters too, and you can invest it in music equipment.

Establish useful contacts. No one is saying that you can’t promote yourself successfully without connections. If you’re talented, your talent may do all the work. Still, getting to know more experienced and successful musicians and learning from their professional knowledge, subtleties, and experience is not a waste of time!

Choose your target audience. You’ve probably already decided, at least in general terms, on the style and genre of your music that you want to promote. If so, you need to understand what people like about that particular style of music and, accordingly, focus on it. Learn to anticipate the tastes of your listeners.

“Word of mouth” is the best marketing tool. Share all your tracks with your friends, acquaintances, relatives, invite them to rehearsals, or even try to get them involved in the performance of some of your songs. All this will make them talk and tell their acquaintances about you, and they, in turn, will tell their acquaintances, and so on. Once you start this promotion process, you can’t stop it.

Keep looking for new ideas. Everyone uses a different method: some have a small dictaphone at hand, some carry a notebook, and others prefer tear-off sheets. Any option will do because the main thing is to write down ideas when they come to you. Do not rely only on your memory. Write down your ideas so you can come back to them later.

Record your best composition. But keep your priorities straight, i.e., don’t focus on the quality of the recording so much as to go to a recording studio! Remember, the main thing is the song itself and how much it resonates with the listener. It will be great if your song has something technically unusual in it, like a drum solo.

Use social networks. Initially, it is there that your main audience will be. Create accounts, groups, and official pages for you and your group on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. There you will also be able to post your previously recorded song, and an unlimited number of people will listen to it.

YouTube. Record a video of you or your band playing, or create a real music video and post it on YouTube. You can get a huge amount of views there, which will give a tangible boost to the promotion of your music. You can find a lot of motivating success stories about that!

Blogs. It’s not about your blog but other people’s blogs. Music reviews, interviews, and guest blogs are good ways to gain new fans. Pay attention to blogs about musicians similar to you, ideally those on the same level as you.

Don’t Get Complacent

If you’ve become popular or your popularity begins to grow quickly or slowly but surely, the most important thing is to hold on to the position you’ve reached and keep growing. Promoting your music will not seem so complicated at this stage, compared to your main task — to grow further, which is the hardest thing in the music industry (or any industry, for that matter).

Setting Up Your Music Business

Touring, releasing music, and branding are the three main sources of income in the music industry. Each of them has a wide range of subtypes. However, now it’s important to understand how you can make money from the three main sources:

  • As to touring and live performances, everything is pretty simple. It’s about getting fans to your concerts and being in touch with promoters who will get you into major festivals.
  • As to releasing music, creating and recording original music can ensure you have underlying rights and performance rights, giving you the ability to publish and control your work.
  • Branding requires that your image, logo, and symbols be clear and consistent with what you do, reflecting your musical mission.

Register Your Work

If you write and release your music, you should understand how performing rights societies (PRSs) raise money for artists. In the United States, ASCAP and BMI are foremost RPSs. They monitor the use of your music on the radio, television, streaming services, at events, in commercials, movies, etc. Based on that, they make payments to you — the author and publisher — according to how you have registered your works.

If you are the sole author, you get the full share of the revenue stream. If you are also the publisher (if your works are original and you release them on your label), you will receive your full share of the publication income. So make sure you register as an author and publisher. Yes, this requires some research, but it’s worth it.

Keep Moving Forward!

You have to stay the course, not deviate from it, and believe that your hard work will eventually pay off. Also, every artist must analyze and reconsider their path moving forward sooner or later. As with most businesses, you should take inventory of where you are now in your career and map out the next few years of work with your team every few years.

We hope these tips will prove useful to you in your musical journey. Good luck!

Is Music a Must-have for everything You do?

No matter who you are, or what you do, music always seems to find its way into your life. Whether it is listening to the radio in the car on your way to work or cranking up your favorite songs on headphones at the gym, music has a unique ability to influence and enhance our daily routines. But does that mean we need it for everything we do? In this blog post, we’ll explore the benefits of music and look at some situations where listening to music can make a massive difference. So, sit back and turn up the volume – let’s get started!

The benefits of music

For many, listening to music is a huge part of our lives. But did you know that it helps make us more productive or can actually enhance your workout?

There are plenty of ways that music can be beneficial to us. Here are just some of the ways that listening to your favorite songs on repeat can help us, both at work and in our personal lives:

Listening to music even improves productivity. Have you ever found yourself struggling to get through your work? You might think it’s because you’re not passionate about what you do – but research shows that the actual reason could be much simpler. In fact, scientists have proven that listening to music while working can block out distractions and even help you get more done in less time.

Here are some ways that music can enhance your experiences.

Music for exercise

As well as helping us get through the day at work, music can also enhance workout sessions at the gym.

Studies have shown that relaxing or energizing songs can directly impact how much you enjoy your exercise regime, and therefore encourage you to exercise more often.

For example, listening to fun songs while exercising can give you that extra boost of motivation to get through your workout.

But it’s not just about feeling the beat. Listening to music while working out can also help with specific exercises too. For example, people tend to lift more weight when they’re listening to fast-paced songs compared with slow songs. In fact, working out to the right kind of music can even help you burn more fat!

In addition to helping us get fit, listening to our favorite tunes while exercising has been shown to improve our stamina and concentration too. So, it turns out there are a number of physical benefits from using your iPod at the gym!

Music for relaxation

In a world where we’re constantly glued to our smartphones and tablets, it’s no wonder that many of us struggle to switch off. Our brains are always on the go – which can make relaxing after work really difficult. Fortunately, there is one activity that can help calm your mind and encourage you to relax: listening to music. Studies have shown that just 15 minutes of music every day helps reduce stress and encourage a more positive outlook on life.

In addition to helping us relax, listening to soothing sounds can also help with better sleep – perfect if you’re struggling to nod off at night. In fact, there have been studies that show that playing relaxing background sounds or music before bedtime can help reduce stress and encourage a better night’s sleep.

So, if you’re looking for ways to unwind after a long day at work, it turns out that turning up the volume on your favorite songs could be one of the best strategies!

Music for events

No matter what you’re doing, music can always help to set the scene. Whether it’s turning up the volume at a party, or putting on your favorite song for a romantic dinner with your significant other, listening to music is an easy way to enhance every aspect of our lives.

Let’s look at an example. You might be throwing a casino party for your friends. If so, you need all the details to be right so everyone can really buy into the whole thing. That’s why it’s important to have some classy music that you’d hear in a high-end casino. If your friends can’t make it, you could play on live casino games online at sites, like slots.lv/casino/live-dealer, where the live dealer could make the things a bit more exciting. Pairing this with the right music is destined to get your casino event off the ground.

This is just one example. There are loads of ways that music can enhance your event. It’s all about making the right choices and finding the perfect tunes to go with it. So, what are you waiting for? Get listening!

Music to motivate you

Of course, not all music is the same. Different genres of songs can have very different effects on us, depending on our own personal tastes.

If you’re looking for some intense motivation to get you through an intense workout session, more upbeat songs are the way forward.

Teyana also released her third studio album The Album last summer, which went on to debut at No. 8 on the Billboard 200, becoming her first Top 10 debut.

About Teyana Taylor

Being a jack of trades has enabled Teyana Taylor to become a master of all. From her smoky melodic vocals to her dynamic dance moves, the R&B superstar entertainer dips ’n dives between her talents as singer, songwriter, producer, director, dancer/choreographer, actor, fitness guru, model, and mother. When it comes to describing herself, the Harlem native can only think of one word: Everything.

In 2014, Teyana’s love for the arts and R&B earned her the title of the first woman signed to Kanye West’s G.O.O.D. Music imprint. Teyana dropped her debut album VII in November 2014, which debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart in 2014, cementing her position in today’s modern R&B field.

Soon after, Teyana went on to star in the internet-breaking video for Kanye West’s “Fade,” and scored her first MTV Moonman for “Best Choreography” at the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards.

Upon the release of her second album, K.T.S.E. (acronym for Keep That Same Energy) an 18-month chain reaction was set-off for Teyana. Hip-hop audiences embraced the RIAA gold “Gonna Love Me” remix featuring Wu-Tang Clan’s Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Raekwon, whose video was directed by Teyana.

With her all-female production company The Aunties, Teyana has also directed videos for her peers like T.I. (“You”), Monica (“Commitment”), and Lil Duval (“Pull Up” featuring Ty Dolla $ign), as fans like Ms. Lauryn Hill and Elton John praise her boss moves.  Teyana’s star continued to rise in the tumultuous year of 2020, with the Juneteenth arrival of THE ALBUM containing the essential single and video releases “Wake Up Love,” “Made It,” and “How You Want It? (HYWI?)”. She earned Video Director of the Year Award at the 2020 BET Awards.

Part of what makes Teyana stand out from the rest is her ability to move with precision and poise in everything she does. From the studio to the stage, every idea is a project with the singer front and center with a vision all her own. With her musical inspirations like Aaliyah, Teena Marie, Mint Condition and Janet Jackson speaking to her soul, Teyana is aware her mission is larger than life. “I’m working on myself everyday and I think that’s my purpose,” she says, comparing her life to a never-ending book. “I’m still going, still mastering and being a better me.”

Oh Wonder Illustration by Reb Czukoski for use by 360 Magazine

Oh Wonder Surprise Album and Video Release

Oh Wonder, the English alt-pop duo, has today released their beautiful, surprise new album, 22 Break, alongside a stunning short film accompanying the record in full. The album features their newest single, “Rollercoaster Baby,” released yesterday.

The band has also confirmed a now sold-out, global, online broadcast of their recent London show at The Albany, taking place on their YouTube on October 14th at 1pm EST. A 52-date world tour for 2022 is on sale now, following an eventful period for the unique London duo, who just scored back-to-back top 10s with 2020’s No One Else Can Wear Your Crown album, on top of 2.7 billion streams and 1.7 million adjusted album sales.

22 Break is the soundtrack to a band, and couple, almost broken – but ultimately made – by the pandemic. It’s a personal, powerfully honest account of those universal breakup themes like loneliness, inadequacy, resentment, and fears for the future, as heightened by making music from your shed in lockdown. In the pandemic’s early phases, Anthony and Josephine worked hard to fill the void created by 2020. Anthony decided to open a coffee shop in Peckham called Nola, which soon saw round-the-block queues and put many of their touring crew back in work. As they started working on new music, however, all the unspoken tensions between a pair who’d never really known a relationship outside of the band tumbled out. Ultimately, though, the album that almost ended Oh Wonder proved to be the making of them: 22 Break is a cathartic, quietly hopeful project, the light at the end of the tunnel that was Oh Wonder’s quite particular pandemic.

Not many bands can make a break-up album that culminates in them tying the knot – but then again, Oh Wonder have never been like other bands. Coming out of 22 Break and all the soul-searching that it forced them to do, Josephine and Anthony got married in August this year. Whilst their relationship now has its own space to exist outside of Nola and Oh Wonder, the duo’s crossroads period has accidentally resulted in their most profound work to date. Opening up to their fans and each other, the ‘Make or Break?’ poised by 22 Break is not so much a question as an active choice – to be as honest as possible, to move forward, and to begin a brand new chapter in the story of Oh Wonder.
