Automobili Lamborghini participated in The I.C.E. (International Concours of Elegance, organized on the frozen lake of St. Moritz on 23 to 24 February, for the second year in a row. The House of Sant’Agata Bolognese was represented by Lamborghini Polo Storico, the point of reference for all international Lamborghini enthusiasts and collectors, many of which were welcomed at the event. During the event, Automobili Lamborghini showcased two cars from its Sant’Agata Bolognese museum collection: a 1973 Jarama GTS, ready for a weekend in the snow complete with ski rack, skis and toboggan, and a 1968 400 GT 2+2: both important cars in the company’s history. Although representative of two different historical decades, the 1960s, with its rounded shapes and the 1970s with its characteristic angular design, both Lamborghini 2+2s featured in St. Moritz is equipped with the same powerplant: the legendary Lamborghini 4-liter V-12, with twin overhead camshafts in the front longitudinal position.
“The I.C.E.”, which stands for the International Concours of Elegance and is now in its third edition, established itself right from the start as one of the most captivating events in the world of classic cars. 1968 400 GT 2+2
In 1966 the 400 GT was presented at the Geneva Motor Show, slightly revised in its lines compared to the 350 GT, especially in the rear part of the body, raised by 6.5 centimeters to become a 2+2 and equipped with the 12-cylinder engine increased to 4 liters, delivering 320 hp at 6500 rpm thanks to the increased bore. With the 400 GT the V12 engine reached its perfect stage of development and would become Lamborghini’s signature engine, going on to equip, with their respective evolutions, all 12-cylinder cars produced in the following decade in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The 400 GT also adopted the Lamborghini gearbox and differential, designed and made in-house, and a revised rear suspension. In the October 1966 issue of American Road & Track magazine, the 400 GT was called “the best GT we’ve ever had a chance to test,” a remark that pleased Ferruccio Lamborghini who, only three years earlier, had begun his new venture with the desire to make just the best GT in the world. The 400 GT 2+2 on show in St. Moritz was delivered in March 1968 to the Grand Garage des Nations in Geneva, in the Grigio Saint Vincent livery with tobacco-brown interior, and is now part of the collection.
Hennessey Special Vehicles, the Texas-based hypercar manufacturer, has set out plans for its 1,817bhp Venom F5 to exceed 300mph in 2024. The announcement was timed to coincide with the 10 anniversary of the company’s Venom GT becoming the world’s fastest car in February 2014.
2024 marks the tenth anniversary of the Hennessey Venom GT, achieving a verified world record 270.49mph top speed to become the fastest production car ever. To this day, the Venom GT remains the world’s fastest manual transmission car. The giant-slaying feat saw Hennessey exceed the previous record of 268.86mph held by the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport.
Now, having delivered 22 customer Venom F5 hypercars, and expanded its engineering team, the company is set to push towards the V-max of ‘America’s Hypercar’. In development, the Venom F5 achieved more than 270mph at the former NASA Shuttle Landing Facility at Cape Canaveral in Florida. Now, the search is on for a runway or public road with a sufficiently long strait to allow the 1,817bhp twin-turbo V8 monster to accelerate beyond 300mph and return to zero safely.

The renewed push to become the world’s fastest hypercar follows Hennessey’s recent recruitment of former and the 2023 Pikes Peak record-setting racing driver David Donohue. The pair will work with the Hennessey team to demonstrate what is possible when combining the Venom F5’s bespoke, ultra-lightweight carbon chassis with its 1,187bhp twin-turbocharged V8 ‘Fury’ engine.

American racing champion David Donohue will conduct all high-speed testing and record runs, having joined Hennessey in 2023 as its hypercar test driver. The 2023 Pikes Peak record-setter brought more than three decades of racing experience to Hennessey, including first-place wins at 24 Hours of Le Mans, the North American Touring Car Championship, and the Rolex 24 at Daytona.

Depending on driving conditions, speed, steering input, and the MultiTerrain Select (MTS) setting chosen by the driver, the system can independently lock or unlock the front and rear stabilizer bars as needed. Crawl Control can be engaged when the vehicle is in low range (L4 ) and allows the GX to move forward or in reverse at one of five-driver selected low speed settings. Crawl Control intuitively manages engine output and hydraulic braking pressure to help reduce tire slippage and optimize chassis behavior.
The GX has up to a 26-degree approach, 24-degree breakover, and 21-degree departure angles. MTS returns on GX with enhanced functionality and capability.

Switching between high range (H4) and low range (L4) is now faster versus the previous generation GX due to enhancements on the electronic transfer case. L4 has four modes: Auto, Sand, Mud and Rock. H4 has five modes: Auto, Dirt, Sand, Mud and Deep Snow. When Multi-Terrain Select is on, the Multi-Terrain Monitor is engaged to assist the driver with increased visibility under and around the vehicle when driving off-road. The Multi-Terrain Monitor uses four cameras within the Panoramic View Monitor System (PVM) to transpose underfloor, front, side and rear-view camera images shown to the 14-inch display, allowing the driver to check road conditions, blind spots and distance between obstacles. Exterior
The all-new GX presents an unmistakably aggressive exterior design that exudes the tough, rugged persona that it has earned time and time again. Lexus designers were intent on expressing the off-road functionality of a true body-on-frame SUV. Their guiding light was envisioning GX customers enjoying refined outdoor experiences, and, as such, they were determined to design a GX that exemplifies the juxtaposition of a tough exterior with a calming, lux, and modern interior space.
The 2024 GX introduces a noticeable change from the previous generation with a square-body profile with a horizontal design motif. From the front, the all-new GX continues the Lexus spindle body concept with an all-new bold, resolute design that also aids in off-roading functionality. To achieve the grounded, stable stance, designers created a taut body with a wide track and fender flares, pulling the front pillar base to the rear. The overall width increases by 3.74 inches (Overtrail by 4.52 inches) compared to the previous-generation GX. The standard Triple-Beam LED headlamps and grille opening have been raised to help avoid potential road impact. LED fog and cornering lamps are available for increased visibility. The front overhang has been decreased by 0.78 inches for improved clearance. The powerful front presence is led by the seamless grille and headlamp integration. From the side, the 2024 GX presents a solid, powerful presence featuring a horizontally flowing body. The A-pillar has been pulled back for increased visibility in addition to the lower belt line and improved ground clearance. At the back, the square, aggressive stance is continued with the signature unified Lshaped light bar.
The updated LEXUS logo is a continuation of the Next Chapter design originally introduced on the 2022 NX. And, based on customer feedback, the all-new GX will feature a standard power rear lift door (GX first) with a pop-out window and an available kick sensor for hands-free convenience. The 2024 GX will be offered in a number of exterior color options depending on grade, including: Eminent White Pearl, Nebula Gray Pearl, Atomic Silver, GX-first Incognito, Caviar, Nori Green Pearl, Nightfall Mica.
The Overtrail and Overtrail+ grades will offer exclusive bi-tone exterior color combinations including Atomic Silver/Black Roof, Incognito/Black Roof, Nori Green Pearl/Black Roof, and Lexus-first Earth/Black Roof. Lush Interior: The all-new GX presents customers with the duality required of a luxury SUV – a rugged, capable exterior with the luxurious interior elements that help to create a road-trip oasis. No matter the length of the journey, drivers and passengers will reap the benefits of the modern and sophisticated interior. Featuring the driver-focused cockpit design also seen in the all-new RX, the all-new GX exhibits thoughtful elements that allow the driver the confidence to focus on the journey ahead. A substantial improvement on the last generation model is the all-new lower, horizontal instrument panel design that carries into the dash for a simplified driver and passenger seat experience, providing excellent front and side visibility. It provides a clean, open space that seamlessly connects the available Head-Up Display (HUD) to the center where the standard 14-inch Multimedia Touchscreen Display with Lexus Interface technology can be found.
Physical dials for frequently used controls such as air conditioning and audio volume remain, and all available off-road controls are concentrated near the gear shifter to help minimize potential driver distraction. The 2024 GX comes standard with wireless Apple CarPlay® Integration and Android Auto™ compatibility, as well as a digital 12.3 Multi-Information Display (MID). With seating for up to seven (Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+), the all-new GX incorporates thoughtful touches at every turn. Ergonomic measures have been implemented to help decrease load and work to aid driving posture through seat cushion, seatback bolster, and headrest improvements. In addition, the front seat hip point to heel height has been extended 1.18 inches. The second row is available in two configurations: captain’s chairs or a 60:40 split-folding bench (Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+). A one-motion tumble system has been added for convenient access to the third row/luggage space. Heated and ventilated outboard seats are standard in the driver and front passenger seats, with available heated second-row seats. The third row is available in both power and manual seat configurations.
A rear seat reminder has been implemented for increased safety and convenience. The earth-tone focused interior color design is intended to complement the nature just outside the vehicle’s doors. The 2024 GX is available in both a semi-aniline leather and NuLuxe® trimmed interior in Black, Dapple Gray, or Saddle Tan with black or dark brown grained trim. Overtrail grades are available in a GX-first color combination of Black NuLuxe® trimmed interior with Olive Ultrasuede accents or Chateau NuLuxe® trimmed interior with Olive Ultrasuede accents and black ornamentation. Six illuminated charging ports (four in Overtrail and Overtrail+) are available throughout and a wireless charger is available in the front console tray to complete the tech-focused interior. And of course, interior storage space has been increased in the center console, door pockets and up to 12 cupholders.
Luggage space for both the second and third row configurations has improved compared to the previous generation, holding up to 5 suitcases with the 3rd row folded. Two additional storage spaces have been added under the cargo area to accommodate smaller items, and a 120V AC inverter has been added for additional power needs. The 2024 GX comes standard with a 10-speaker premium sound system, with available 21- Speaker Mark Levinson Surround Sound.
Additional options (depending on grade) include Digital Key* with SmartAccess Card Key, Cool Box, Head-Up Display, Traffic Jam Assist*, Cold Area Package and Tonneau Cover. Technology and Convenience Features Lexus Interface with standard 14-inch touchscreen A standard 14-inch, high-definition touchscreen provides easy-to-use controls and clear information to the driver and front-seat passenger. The glass screens utilize a high-adhesion, anti-reflective coating to realize a vivid display. Menu operations are similar to those found on smartphones and tablets. Cloud Navigation With a Drive Connect trial or subscription, this 100% cloud-capable system integrates with Google points of interest (POI) data to provide faster and more up-to-date search results, more accurate directions, and alternate routes based on current traffic conditions. Offline mode is designed to detect a potential loss of signal and download applicable maps and services in advance.
Intelligent Assistant*
With an active Drive Connect trial or subscription, Intelligent Assistant offers convenience for guests. Designed with dual microphones, enhanced noise cancellation and seat detection capabilities for greater voice-recognition accuracy, by simply saying “Hey Lexus,” available voice commands can operate certain interior amenities, such as navigation, multimedia, and climate control.
Digital Key (Available)* & SmartAccess Card Key
With an active Remote Connect subscription, guests can utilize their compatible smartphone as a vehicle key through the Lexus app. The available Digital Key can allow for the control of door locks and enables additional usability when car sharing, during valet parking, or home delivery of packages. Lexus Safety System + 3.0 For added peace of mind, all GX models come standard with Lexus Safety System+ 3.0, an integrated suite of active safety equipment and convenience features. Pre-Collision System (PCS) with Pedestrian Detection – Designed to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian, or cyclist and provide an audio/visual forward collision warning under certain circumstances. If the driver does not react, the system is designed to provide automatic emergency braking at speeds between approximately 7-110 mph. Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) – When DRCC is enabled and lane markers are detected, LTA uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to provide active driving assistance and help keep the vehicle centered in its lane. Emergency Driving Stop System (EDSS) – If the system detects no driver input for some time, audible warnings will alert the driver. If no further inputs are detected, EDSS brings the vehicle to a gradual stop while keeping it safely in lane and hazard lights are activated to warn other road users. EDSS only operates when driving on expressways with DRCC and LTA activated. Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) – When white/yellow lane markings or certain road edge boundary lines are detected at speeds above 32 mph, LDA w/SA is designed to issue an audio/visual lane departure warning if an inadvertent lane departure is detected. If the driver does not take corrective action, the system is also designed to provide gentle corrective steering for lane keeping assistance. Road Sign Assist (RSA) – Using an intelligent camera, RSA is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs, yield signs and certain warning signs, and display an icon of the sign on the Multi-Information Display (MID). Proactive Driving Assist (PDA) – When system operating conditions are met, using the vehicle’s camera and radar, PDA provides gentle braking into curves or gentle braking and/or steering to help support driving tasks.
In 2023, Rolls-Royce delivered 6,032 motor cars to clients across more than 50 countries worldwide. More than ever before in the marque’s 119-year history, the total number of commissions was in line with expectations of the luxury house. 2023 also saw a record level of Bespoke projects for the brand as all Rolls-Royce motor cars are hand-built at the marque’s home in Goodwood, UK. North America continued to deliver strong demand, not only in volume but more importantly in bespoke value. The United States remains the marque’s largest market.
Cullinan was the most commonly requested commission both in standard and Black Badge commissions for clients in North America and worldwide. Ghost remains popular and saw some of the most complex Bespoke and Collection projects ever, including Black Badge Ghost Ékleipsis. Phantom remains the pinnacle member of the Rolls-Royce family, also seeing record levels of bespoke value and continued strong demand. Phantom Syntopia, the most technically complex Bespoke project ever for Rolls-Royce, was delivered in 2023.
Rolls-Royce unveiled Spectre to the world in October 2022, with first cars deliveries to North American clients only weeks ago. The first all-electric series Rolls-Royce in history has attracted enormous interest worldwide, particularly among younger clients, setting a clear direction of travel and establishing a solid foundation for the marque’s bold electric future.

Rolls-Royce reports sales growth in the majority of the markets in which it operates, with deliveries reaching new record levels in the Middle East, Asia-Pacific and Europe regions.
The USA was Rolls-Royce’s single largest market worldwide, while Greater China remained the marque’s second-largest market. Record sales were achieved in Europe, where the UK is the largest single market. Record annual sales and year-on-year growth in the Asia-Pacific region were fueled by a strong performance in Korea, whose dynamic, vibrant economy is reflected in a rapidly expanding luxury market.
BESPOKE: DEFINING THE BRAND
Every motor car hand-built at the Home of Rolls-Royce includes some element of Bespoke, the company’s unique program offering personalization possibilities which are limited only by the client’s imagination. The year’s commissions opened up new opportunities in the use of rare and beautiful materials, intricate craft techniques, surface finishes and other innovative technologies. There were an exceptional number of ‘firsts’ for the marque, including hand-perforated leather seats, Starlight Headliners incorporating mesmerising celestial animations and three-dimensional sculptural elements, stunning engraved artworks, numerous new paint processes and the first-ever commission to incorporate a Bespoke scent.
Commissions drew inspiration from celestial events, the mysteries of space, enchanting geographic locations, family legacies, clients’ signature colors, and much more. Below are just a few spectacular examples that represent a lasting tribute to the vision, imagination and ambition of the Rolls-Royce Bespoke Collective and the remarkable clients who choose to celebrate their personal stories in Bespoke works of art.
ROSE BLOSSOM PHANTOM
This one-of-one Phantom Extended evokes the beauty and tranquility of a summer garden. Embroidered artwork celebrates the marque’s very own Phantom rose that blooms in the courtyard of the Home of Rolls-Royce. This special flower is illustrated in the Gallery and on the coach doors. In addition, the flowers are depicted in the Starlight Headliner which took over 200 hours to complete. Four species of butterfly – Swallowtail, Peacock, Common Blue and Duke of Burgundy – can be seen flitting amongst the blooms.
The captivating floral theme continues in the intricate and detailed rose marquetry on the passenger panel and rear waterfall.
PHANTOM SYNTOPIA
The most technically complex Bespoke commission ever undertaken, Phantom Syntopia was created in collaboration with Dutch fashion designer and Haute Couturière Iris van Herpen. It explores the beauty of fluid motion in solid materials in its ‘Weaving Water’ theme, which extends across the Gallery artwork, picnic tables, front passenger panel, bonnet and Bespoke Starlight Headliner.
The ‘Weaving Water’ Starlight Headliner alone took almost 700 hours to produce, using a single sheet of leather overlaid on woven ‘liquid metal’ fabric to create a three-dimensional effect. It includes 162 delicate glass organza ‘pearls’, applied at the Home of Rolls-Royce by members of Iris van Herpen’s team.
The rear seats are upholstered in a specially created silk-blend fabric with the Weaving Water motif. For a long-lasting, sophisticated sensory experience, Bespoke Collective incorporated a scent-releasing mechanism housed within the headrests.
The fully Bespoke Starlight Headliner includes an animated sequence replicating the moment of totality: a circle of 940 fiber-optic ‘stars’ represents the corona around the Moon’s silhouette, surrounded by a further 192 ‘stars’. The animation remains visible for precisely seven minutes and 31 seconds – the longest possible duration of a total solar eclipse.
The illuminated fascia features 1,846 laser-etched ‘stars’ in a symbolic timeline of a total eclipse. The design culminates in a Bespoke timepiece incorporating a brilliant-cut 0.5-carat diamond set into the bezel, recalling the ‘Diamond Ring’ effect.
BLACK BADGE CULLINAN BLUE SHADOW
The Black Badge Cullinan Blue Shadow Private Collection is inspired by the Kármán Line, the invisible boundary 62 miles above the Earth’s surface, where our atmosphere ends and outer space begins. The Starlight Headliner includes an intricate embroidery depicting the Moon’s surface, made up of 250,000 individual stiches in five different thread colors.
It’s surrounded by 1,183 twinkling fiber-optic ‘stars’ – 799 white and 384 blue – each placed by hand. The leather seats feature artistic perforations for the very first time. The artwork, formed with 75,000 tiny perforations, mimics the patterns of clouds swirling over the continents and oceans as seen from space.
GHOST CHAMPAGNE ROSE
Ghost Champagne Rose celebrates the commissioning client’s signature color, inspired by her digital persona @ChampagneRose. Creating a single-tone color across both exterior finish and interior trim is exceptionally complex; materials absorb and reflect light differently, and the eye perceives slight variations if exactly the same color is applied to all surfaces. The Bespoke Collective therefore developed numerous formulations of the ‘Champagne Rose’ hue, each subtly adjusted according to each material’s specific surface characteristics – a true technical and artistic tour de force.
MANCHESTER GHOST
This one-of-one Ghost celebrates Manchester’s pivotal historical connection with the marque. It was in the city’s Midland Hotel on 4 May 1904 that Charles Rolls and Henry Royce first met and agreed to build ‘the best car in the world’.
The illuminated fascia features 10,000 laser-etched dots depicting an aerial view of Manchester, with the largest dot showing the location of the Midland Hotel. The design also includes the Manchester Bee – the city’s emblem for over 150 years, symbolizing hard work and collective endeavor. It appears as a coachline motif and delicate embroidery on the front and rear seat inserts.
GHOST AMBER ROADS
This magnificent collection, comprising just 12 examples, is inspired by amber, known as the ‘Gold of the North’ and traded along routes known as ‘Amber Roads’ for over 3,500 years. These historic trade routes are depicted in the Bespoke Starlight Headliner and illuminated fascia panel.
The two-tone exterior finish and interior palette capture amber’s warm, lustrous character. A piece of polished amber is set into the central rotary dial to add an extra tactile dimension.
BLACK BADGE WRAITH
BLACK ARROW PRIVATE COLLECTION
Created to mark the end of production of Wraith, this Private Collection includes the final 12 examples of the last-ever Rolls-Royce V12 coupé.
The design celebrates the land speed record set by Captain George Eyston on 16 September 1938 on Utah’s Bonneville Salt Flats. The Bespoke Starlight Headliner’s 2,117 fiber-optic ‘stars’ depict the Milky Way and the constellations precisely as they would have appeared there that night. The complex design on coach doors, comprising over 320 lasered marquetry pieces, mimics the cracked, irregular surface of the Salt Flats.
Unique fascia artwork depicting Wraith’s V12 engine, engraved on a single sheet of black-coated aluminum to reveal the gleaming metal beneath, commemorates the legacy of this Rolls-Royce icon.
THE PEARL CULLINAN
Commissioned for the owner by his family to mark a significant birthday, this magnificent Cullinan reflects the client’s passion for pearls and includes some of the most elaborate use of mother-of-pearl ever seen in a Rolls-Royce motor car.
The exterior finish captures the colors of the most prized pearl in the owner’s collection. The Picnic Tables feature a spectacular circular pattern made from 1,351 separate pieces of mother-of-pearl, each individually selected and inlaid by hand. The fascia motif illustrates the Arabic symbol for ‘father’ inlaid in stainless steel. The Bespoke Starlight Headliner shows the sky as it appeared at the owner’s birthplace on the night he was born.
PHANTOM CINQUE TERRE
This one-of-one Phantom celebrates the unique landscape and viticultural heritage of Italy’s Cinque Terre region. The Gallery artwork represents an imagined amalgamation of elements from the five Ligurian cliffside villages, sketched digitally, then airbrushed by hand.
The Bespoke Starlight Headliner features a map of Italy, embroidered in 14,338 individual stitches, with five prominent ‘stars’ marking the locations of the villages.
The rear doors are adorned with a delicate grape-branch embroidery, each comprising 9,215 stitches and using two different techniques to create luster and texture. The grapes motif also appears as an intricate plated gold and stainless steel inlay on the rear picnic tables, as well as the coachline motif.

Spectacular tour over 800 km delivers the ultimate in luxury and authentic experiences via the driving prowess of the lifestyle version of the Super SUV
Sant’Agata Bolognese, 20th December 2023: The magical Omani culture and landscapes coupled with five-star luxury and unique experiences shaped the Lamborghini Esperienza Avventura in Oman, which welcomed an exclusive group of guests from across Europe. Each of the four-day tours started with guests arriving in Muscat and a stay at the first of three venues, starting with the renowned beach resort The Chedi.
Commencing with a welcome dinner on the seaside at the celebrated five-star coastal venue, guests departed the Chedi next morning in one of eight Urus S reserved for them, accompanied by three Lamborghini professional drivers and support vehicles to cover more than 330 km during the first day. After a coffee break on a cliff facing the white sands of Fins beach, the Urus S tackled challenging rugged areas away from the roads heading up the Hajar mountains, with a lunch break at the 1500m-high Salmah Plateau with its traditional villages, underground caves and tombs. The tour then headed onwards to the endless dunes of Wahiba Sands for a night of exclusive desert glamping, where guests were welcomed by a local Omani Bedouin band and experienced a traditional dinner under the stars of the desert.
The second day of driving saw the tour pause for a mid-morning sojourn at Wadi Indam Natural Park, considered one of the biggest rivers in the entire Sultanate, before heading to the 17th century town of Nizwa, an important stronghold in Omani history, where participants could visit the ancient fort and the Imam’s castle. The Super SUV proved its unrivaled abilities to all as it chewed up road miles and tackled sand and rough terrains, arriving for lunch in the ruined village of Birkat Al Mouz amidst its date and banana plantations. The last stage of 280 km’s driving through captivating landscapes led guests to the exclusive Alila Jabal Akhdar hotel, perched on a clifftop over 2000 meters above sea level. The dinner took place on a deck with a breathtaking vista over the surrounding canyon accompanied by the sound of a local oud player.
On their final day clients departed to drive 200 km-plus back towards The Chedi, Muscat and they waded the river Wadi Dabaun in the Urus S, that had so capably taken them in versatile luxury across 821 km of varied terrains. Authentic and exclusive experiences combined with insights into Omani culture, characterized by a great hospitality, the Lamborghini guests left Oman full of memories of such a diverse country and of Urus S that had delivered so many unique and memorable driving emotions and experiences.
