Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai is thrilled to announce that Bao Li Xuan and Il Ristorante-Niko Romito Shanghai were both awarded by MICHELIN Guide Shanghai 2025. Bao Li Xuan has been awarded two Michelin stars for the fifth consecutive year, and Il Ristorante – Niko Romito Italian restaurant has been awarded one Michelin star for the seventh consecutive years.

The two Michelin-starred Bao Li Xuan Chinese restaurant, helmed by Chinese Executive Chef Mr. Bill Fu, fuses contemporary and traditional Hong Kong style Cantonese cuisines, keeps the traditional flavor and add simple and elegant style, while the plate is set with contemporary elements.
Il Ristorante — Niko Romito, helmed by the preeminent chef Niko Romito and Resident Chef de Cuisine Luca Di Benedetto, received one Michelin Star for its celebration of rich Italian heritage. “This acknowledgement for the seventh year is very important for me as well as for Chef de Cuisine Luca Di Benedetto and the great team behind me in this adventure.” says Chef Niko Romito. “Il Ristorante-Niko Romito, a project we started with Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts in 2017 allowed me to conceive what I envisage to be the canons that define the Italian authenticity cuisine and present them worldwide. We will continue to present the traditional recipes with a modern, minimalist interpretation, fully expressing the culture, sophistication and vivacity of the ‘Made in Italy’ cuisine.”

In June 2018, Bvlgari Hotels & Resorts grandly unveiled its sixth jewel of the crown, Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai which sits in the prosperous Suhe Creek Riverside Comprehensive Development Zone. The visionary SUHE CREEK project is an urban waterfront revitalization project developed by the top domestic property developer OCT that integrates high-end residences, fashion businesses, art space and urban park. As part of the project, Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai balances nature, contemporary design and heritage architecture. It is comprised of the historic Chamber of Commerce Shanghai, originally completed in 1916, and now completely restored to evoke memories of its glorious heyday, and the 48-story tower with scenic surroundings. Occupying the top eight floors of the 48-story building, Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai offers beautiful panoramic views of the iconic Bund waterfront, the magnificent skyline of Shanghai, legendary Huangpu River and winding Suzhou River. The rest of the tower is home to Bvlgari Residences Shanghai. Like other Bvlgari hotels and resorts, the renowned Italian architectural firm ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel signed the Bvlgari Hotel Shanghai’s design and created a glamorous contemporary masterpiece by blending the distinctive Italian refinement of Bvlgari with rich layers of Shanghai history.
