Bria Lee Debut Single “Purple Clouds”

NEW YORK, NY (June 22nd, 2018) – Today, New York-based vocalist and songwriter Bria Lee makes her debut with her song, “Purple Clouds”—listen and share here.

Backed by a fuzzed-out cackle of an old school phonograph, Bria Lee intoxicates and intrigues on her debut single, “Purple Clouds.” A puff of smoky soul strained through glitchy beats, her voice immediately seduces on confessions, “The liquor it keeps taking over” and “Lately, I be gettin’ so high I feel like a pilot.”

Of the track, Bria Lee says, “With ‘Purple Clouds,’ I tried to take my listeners to the place that I go when I’m writing and recording music, sort of like going to another planet. This song is special to me because it evokes the outer-body experience that I have when I’m making music that I love.”
