As a brand ambassador for Bremont, Chin’s adventurous spirit and passion for exploration have inspired this exceptional timepiece, designed for those who embrace the outdoors and the thrill of adventure. Jimmy Chin is not only an accomplished alpinist but also a celebrated filmmaker, best known for his work on the Oscar-winning documentary “Free Solo” and highly acclaimed Nyad. His deep connection to nature and commitment to pushing boundaries resonate with Bremont’s ethos of adventure and exploration.

Robust and sporty in nature, the timepiece captures the essence of Chin’s elite athletic power but also adds a 8km second-dimension dear to Jimmy, reflecting his creative side as a filmmaker and photographer. The Chronograph is ‘sportchic’ in its execution, featuring warm and elegant shades of rose gold across the case and the dial. The effect offers a mix of warm aged indexes, golden hands, and counters. The Terra Nova Jimmy Chin is available as two limited edition variants. Featuring the contemporary, geometric cushion case of the Terra Nova collection, a full 18ct rose gold edition is available as a run of 15 pieces or a 904l steel and rose gold version is available in a run of 100 pieces. Both models come within an elegant wooden display box, accompanied by a copy of Jimmy Chin’s extraordinary book of alpine photography ‘There and back: Photographs from the Edge’. Framed by a bi-directional rose gold bezel with black ceramic insert featuring compass markers, the models feature a black dial with light brown full Superluminova block numerals, for enhanced visibility, complemented by rose gold coloured sub dials in a reverse panda execution. A date function sits at 6 o’clock. The Super-LumiNova® application continues across the indexes on the railroad minute track and central rose gold hands. The central running second chronograph hand is executed in red, a nod to the red lacquered color, and then Chin applies to his photography, referencing and honoring his Asian heritage. Turning the watch over reveals an extraordinary exhibition case back, decorated with an evocative image of the Teton mountain range, an area close to Jimmy Chin’s heart as it is his second home in Wyoming and his local proving ground. “The picture is one I took with my mobile landing in Jackson, a place that is special to me.
