Barns Courtney has revealed the track listing for his debut album, The Attractions Of Youth, and shared a pair of songs from the album, “Kicks” and “Never Let You Down.”

Although Barns Courtney broke his foot in three places while diving off stage in July at Milwaukee’s Summerstage, as documented HERE, he wasn’t about to miss Lollapalooza. The Attractions Of Youth is an impressive statement from the young artist. From the raucous Americana excitement of “Hands” and “Hobo Rocket” to the more stripped-back sounds of “Goodbye John Smith” and “Little Boy,” it showcases Barns Courtney’s versatility and soaring vocals. The single “Golden Dandelions” is already in the top 20 at Alternative radio and has nearly two million streams to date. It’s his fifth track to surpass the one million streams mark. Before the album’s release, and with only one EP out to date, Barns Courtney has already surpassed 65 million combined streams globally — with nearly half of those streams in the U.S.
The album also includes “Fire,” a Top 5 hit at Triple A radio and a Top 15 hit at Alternative, and “Glitter & Gold,” which topped the Spotify UK Viral Chart and has been heard in promotional spots for Miller Lite, Showtime and the critically acclaimed film The Founder.
A member of the Green Bay Packers staff heard “Glitter & Gold,” and knew it would catch on with Packers fans. At the team’s request, Barns Courtney re-recorded the track as “Green & Gold.” It will be the featured song for The Packers‘ Fall 2017 NFL Season. Barns Courtney has a cameo in the video for Charli XCX’s “Boys,” which racked up 15 million views in its first week. He has opened for The Who at London’s Wembley Stadium and has also supported Ed Sheeran, Elle King, Blur, Fitz and The Tantrums, Tom Odell and The Libertines.
