Americup 2021

A post-pandemic basketball tournament unlike anything else in the world, FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup 2021, will arrive in Miami’s Bayfront Park next month. On November 12-14th, in the home of the Miami Heat, Hurricanes, and countless other legendary sports teams, FIBA, in partnership with VAUNT and in collaboration with LiveOne’s LiveXLive, will bring the US Men’s National Team and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Gold US Women’s National Team–along with 18 Countries represented by the best 3×3 national teams in Americas–to Miami for the first-ever 3×3 AmeriCup. A three-day hybrid pop-culture event, FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup 2021, will feature a star-studded in-person and virtual music festival, Music Lives: Ballerfest, LiveOne’s original franchise, with Afrobeats, EDM, Hip Hop, Latin, R&B and country music performances that will be livestreamed on LiveXLive. Additionally, the festival will include business panels on industry disruptions. The FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup 2021  will be a culture-shifting event, unlike any live, entertainment, and sporting event in the post-COVID world and the first in Miami’s history.

FIBA partnered with VAUNT, a sports and entertainment intellectual property (IP) development company that creates and produces alternative competitions and culturally relevant content, and Vaunt will collaborate with LiveOne’s LiveXLive, a global platform for livestream and on-demand audio, video, and podcast/vodcast content in music, comedy, sports, and pop culture. The collaboration will create the first-of-its-kind festival. The historic moment marks FIBA’s return to Miami nine years after the City hosted the final of the first-ever FIBA 3×3 World Tour and commences VAUNT’s multi-year relationship as the Local Organizing Committee with FIBA for the exclusive rights to the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup on the continents.

Dolly Parton Performance for Breast Cancer

On Sunday, October 24th, Dolly Parton will be closing the evening with a special acoustic performance with her long time musical director and producer Kent Wells on guitar, to help raise money and awareness for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. The Kiss Breast Cancer Goodbye event will be taking place at the Country Music Hall of Fame CMA Theater. The intimate one-hour performance will highlight the international superstar’s career singing all her biggest hits with anecdotes we all come to expect and love.

Joy Crookes – Skin

BRIT Award nominated singer/songwriter Joy Crookes releases her highly anticipated debut album, Skin.  The 13 track body of work includes previously releases singles, “Feet Don’t Fail Me Now,” “When You Were Mine,” “Skin,” and the newest, “Trouble.” Get it HERE via Epic Records/Insanity.

The Audibles – Outrageous

It was recently announced that the single “Outrageous” from musical duo The Audibles was selected as the first track for the 2021-2022 NFL Songs of the Season series. “Outrageous” will air during Thursday Night Football broadcast on FOX featuring the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Philadelphia Eagles and will be highlighted across pre-game and in-game broadcasts.

The four-time Grammy nominated duo–Dominic ‘DJ’ Jordan and Jimmy Giannos–have produced songs for top artists including Justin Bieber, Lupe Fiasco, Ty Dolla $ign, Sam Smith and more. The Las Vegas natives have been leading figures in the production of Justin Bieber’s recent hit albums. They produced five songs on Bieber’s “Journals” album and played a significant role in the production of his song “No Pressure” featuring Big Sean. Most recently, they produced Bieber’s hit single “Intentions” in addition to three other tracks on Bieber’s “Changes” album.

Songs of the Season highlights superstars and emerging recording artists of all genres, incorporating their music into game broadcasts throughout the 2021 season. Revenue generated from Songs of the Season will benefit organizations supported by Inspire Change, the NFL’s social justice initiative focused on reducing barriers to opportunity in four priority areas: education, economic advancement, police and community relations, and criminal justice reform.

Songs of the Season debuted during the 2019-2020 season and featured artists such as Blackway, Kelly Rowland, Robin Thicke, Royce Da 5’9″, Lecrae, and SASH. The series showcases musicians that will create and deliver a song to be integrated in all NFL promotions each month during the season.

Mayor of Kingston

Paramount+, the streaming service from ViacomCBS, released the official trailer and key art for its upcoming original drama series Mayor of Kingstown. From Academy Award nominee and Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan, and Hugh Dillon, the 10-episode season will premiere on Sunday, Nov. 14 and features an all-star cast including Academy Award nominee Jeremy Renner, Academy Award winner Dianne Wiest, Emmy Award winner Kyle Chandler, Dillon, Taylor Handley, Emma Laird and Tobi Bamtefa.

Mayor of Kingstown follows the McLusky family power brokers in Kingstown, Michigan, where the business of incarceration is the only thriving industry. Tackling themes of systemic racism, corruption and inequality, the series provides a stark look at their attempt to bring order and justice to a town that has neither.

Produced by MTV Entertainment Studios and 101 Studios, Mayor of Kingstown will be executive produced by Sheridan, Dillon, Renner, Antoine Fuqua, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari and Michael Friedman.

As part of Sheridan’s deal with MTV Entertainment and ViacomCBS, Mayor of Kingstown and 1883: the Yellowstone origin story are the first series from his exclusive multi-year pact, which includes scripted and procedural series for streaming and linear. 101 Studios serves as a production partner on all series.
