Dolly Parton and James Patterson via Blockchain Creative Labs for use by 360 Magazine

Dollyverse

Leading up to the eagerly awaited releases of her original novel, Run, Rose, Run, co-written with best-selling author James Patterson, and its companion album, global superstar and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee Dolly Parton is partnering with FOX Entertainment’s Blockchain Creative Labs (BCL) to launch Dollyverse—an audience-centric Web3 experience, at the South by Southwest® (SXSW®) Conference and Festivals starting next week.

To promote the debut of Run, Rose, Run, Parton will make her first-ever appearance at SXSW on March 18, when she and Patterson will speak about the project at Austin City Limits Live at The Moody Theater.  Emmy and Golden Globe Award nominee Connie Britton (The White Lotus, Nashville, Friday Night Lights) will moderate the conversation with Parton and Patterson.  Immediately afterwards, she will give a live performance featuring songs from Run, Rose, Run, along with a few of her hits.  Scheduled to open for Parton and Patterson are Kovic, Callie Twisselman, Electra Mustaine, and The Brothers Moore. The entire event will be streamed live for free on “Dollyverse” by Eluvio, which also will power the “Dollyverse’s” NFT sales.

The “Dollyverse” will release an exclusive selection of official and certified Dolly NFT collectibles, including limited-edition NFTs of the Run, Rose, Run music album and a limited series of Dolly-inspired NFT artwork, for purchase during and after SXSW.  In-person attendees at Parton’s performance will be able to claim a free NFT, while fans streaming the event will be able to receive tokens authenticating their participation.

“There’s almost nothing more important to me than connecting with my fans.  And I’m almost always up for trying something new and different,” said Parton.  “I’d say releasing NFTs at my first-ever appearance at SXSW, with James Patterson by my side, definitely counts as new and different!”

“Yet again Dolly is at the top of her craft,” said Danny Nozell, Parton’s manager.  “Her goal with new music has always been to use her gifts to connect with people.  This partnership with BCL at SXSW, and the launch of ‘Dollyverse,’ provide her a totally new way to do that.”

“I am a huge Dolly Parton fan.  Who isn’t?  She is a national treasure, whose important contributions to the world transcend her incredible work as an entertainer,” said Scott Greenberg, CEO of BCL.  “Dolly is a true pioneer who brings the highest level of quality, heart and authenticity to everything she touches, which is why she’s the perfect person to introduce to the mainstream audience an easy-to-use, Web3 experience that will live stream her SXSW event and provide them the opportunity own and enjoy her music — not just a right to stream it – all designed to bring Dolly even closer to her fans.”

“Dolly Parton’s participation in SXSW 2022 fulfills one of our longtime goals and we’re absolutely ecstatic to have her involved in this year’s event in such a unique way,” said Hugh Forrest, Chief Programming Officer for SXSW.  “Beyond her legendary status in the music industry, Dolly embodies the SXSW spirit as she extends her unique brand of creativity across many verticals. Most importantly, Dolly serves as an inspirational and unifying role model for millions of fans—spanning different ages, occupations, and viewpoints–-from all over the world.”

Speediatrics Fun Day

The NASCAR Foundation‘s Speediatrics Fun Day Festival powered by Kaulig Racing kicked off the season on Friday, February 25 at Auto Club Speedway. This season, the partnership between the Foundation and Matt Kaulig‘s multi-car NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series organization expands to nine race markets, bringing healthy living programming to children across the country.

The NASCAR Foundation’s Speediatrics Fun Day Festival powered by Kaulig Racing will bring the sport of NASCAR to life for kids ages 7-12 through a specialized curriculum and a NASCAR-themed at-track festival before NASCAR race weekends at Auto Club Speedway, Phoenix Raceway, Martinsville Speedway, Darlington Raceway, World Wide Technology Raceway, Pocono Raceway, Michigan International Speedway, Daytona International Speedway, and Homestead-Miami Speedway.

“The Speediatrics Fun Day Festival has continued to grow over the last six years into a meaningful program that introduces kids to the sport of NASCAR while inspiring them to live a healthy lifestyle,” said Mike Helton, NASCAR Foundation Chairman. “Thanks to Matt Kaulig and Kaulig Racing, we’re able to elevate our efforts with this program to a level that will provide even more momentum for future growth.”

As part of the partnership, and to enhance the curriculum provided to the Foundation’s community partners, Kaulig Media has produced six new videos featuring Kaulig, members of his race team, including NASCAR Cup Series driver Justin Haley, Motor Racing Network reporter Kim Coon and Executive Director of The NASCAR Foundation Nichole Krieger. The videos complement an activity book provided to participants and introduce them to healthy living concepts through the sport of NASCAR. The week-long program leads up to the main event the Speediatrics Fun Day Festival happening on track property.

“We are proud to team up with The NASCAR Foundation again and help provide an influential program for kids who are impacted by the Foundation’s Speediatrics Children’s Fund,” said Matt Kaulig, team owner of Kaulig Racing and founder of Kaulig Giving. “Our partnership with The NASCAR Foundation is a natural fit for us as both of our organizations look to improve lives beyond the track. We look forward to continuing to impact local communities by helping children live a healthier lifestyle and [providing] them with new opportunities.”

The partnership between The NASCAR Foundation and Kaulig Racing is facilitated by Kaulig Giving, the philanthropic arm of Kaulig Companies. As Kaulig’s community impact organization, Kaulig Giving supports the well-being of children and families and develops partnerships with like-minded nonprofits, especially in Northeast Ohio.

The NASCAR Foundation’s Speediatrics Fun Day Festival powered Kaulig Racing is a program of the Foundation’s Speediatrics Children’s Fund, which supports needs expressed by hospitals, specialty clinics, camps, and other organizations providing children’s medical and healthcare services.

Since 2017, The NASCAR Foundation has encouraged nearly 3,500 children to live a healthy lifestyle through the Speediatrics Fun Day Festival program. In addition, the Foundation also provides a charitable donation to the community partner in each market to help support ongoing healthy living programs long after the festival is over.

Mimi Webb – House on Fire

Mimi Webb‘s “House on Fire” lands at number 6 on the UK Singles Charts. The song debuted at number 3 on New Music Friday on Spotify and number two on Apple Music.

She is currently touring across the UK and opening for Tate McCrae in North America starting March 10th in Seattle, Washington. You can find the full list of tour dates HERE.

About Mimi Webb

Mimi Webb projects a voice as magnetic, massive, and magical as her personality. As “the girl next door” with a hell of vocal range, she’s quick to laugh, will let you know precisely what’s on her mind, and isn’t afraid to be heard. Originally hailing from the UK town of Canterbury, the pop singer and songwriter turns up the volume on every emotion with skyscraping runs and open-heart honesty.

Inspired by the likes of Amy Winehouse, Emelie Sandé, and Sam Smith, she started writing songs of her own at 13-years-old in diaries before eventually learning guitar. Around the same time, she enrolled in The BRIT School—known for alumni such as Adele, Amy Winehouse, Jessie J, and more. Three years later, she left home, moved in with a host family, and attended the prestigious BIMM [British Institute of Modern Music]. In 2019, she uploaded a handful of early compositions and collaborations online, landed management, and inked a deal with Epic Records. Mimi Webb’s impromptu acapella videos exploded with over 20 million views on TikTok, paving the way for a string of original fan favorites such as “Before I Go,” “I’ll Break My Heart Again,” “Reasons,” and “Good Without.” Amassing close to half a billion streams, she made waves with international hits “Good Without” and “Dumb Love.” The singles concurrently captured places in the Top 15 on the UK Singles Chart, which cemented Mimi as “the first UK female artist, since Dua Lipa in 2017, to land two singles in the UK Top 15 before the release of her debut album.”

Music Week also recently announced Mimi Webb as the newest addition to their BBC Radio 1’s Brit List. The prestigious offering comes after selling out her first upcoming sold-out February UK tour including a sold out Shepherd’s Bush show. In addition to receiving widespread acclaim from Wonderland, teenVOGUE, Refinery 29, Euphoria, CLASH, FLAUNT, and Consequence of Sound, to name a few. With a voice just loud enough to give you goosebumps, Mimi Webb shines on her debut, Seven Shades of Heartbreak EP with more to come.

BabySantana – nyc

After lighting up the internet and attracting tastemaker praise,  15-year-old phenomenon BabySantana unleashes his new single and music video “nyc” via Galactic Records/Republic Records.

Listen to “nyc” HERE. Watch “nyc” HERE

The track’s frenetic, furious, and fiery production rages beneath his double-time rhymes as he practically runs suicides back and forth lyrically over the beat. The futuristic intensity culminates with a striking chant. In the accompanying visual, he takes over the streets of New York City, turning up in a convenience store as psychedelic animated filters fill the frame.

Clocking in at just over a minute, “nyc” exerts a compact and catchy impact at full force.

It also lands on the heels of “off the leash!” feat. yvngxchris & Luisss. The latter has impressively tallied over 7 million total streams to date. Daily Chiefers applauded it as a “fucking banger” and urged, “each drop is seemingly better than the previous one.” DJ Booth touted it among the “Best Songs of the Week” and wrote, “Santana declares himself ‘off the leash,’ which has the young Georgia rapper gnashing through crunchy production and features from yvngxchris and Luisss.”

Next up, BabySantana supports multiplatinum chart-topping rap phenomenon Lil Tecca on his Tecca Loves You Tour. It kicks off March 30, 2022 at Buckhead Theatre in Atlanta, GA, visits major markets coast-to-coast, and concludes on May 21, 2022 at Ritz Ybor in Tampa, FL..

BabySantana has become a bold and buzzing blunt force in hip-hop at just 15-years-old. Hailing from Columbus, GA, he went from self-producing music in a small closet at home to igniting the internet. Bolstered by independent projects, he has generated over 155 million streams and counting. “Antisocial” [feat. Slump6] notably posted up 87 million streams followed by “Antisocial 2” [feat. Slump6, Yung Fazo, Xhulooo, SSGKOBE] at 31 million streams and “14” with Ka$hdami at 29 million streams. Pitchfork named “Prada (Remix)” [feat. Lil Tecca] among “The Ones” as “The must-hear rap song of the day,” and DJBooth cited him among “10 Rappers You Should Know Right Now on Audiomack.” BabySantana is just getting started though. He’s off the leash and chomping at the bit to be heard.
