Primamore

Coral Contemporary Gallery will present an exhibition of Argentinian artist Maria Chiara Baccanelli on May 19, 2022. Titled “Primamore,” this exhibition reflects the striking spontaneity of Baccanelli’s work, characterized by powerful colors that decant into floral forests. The aroma of these bouquets comes off as in a sunny spring afternoon in the countryside and surpasses her creations, enthralling the viewer. This enchantment is also due to the strength that emerges from her canvases, thanks to a varied palette of bright, pleasant and energetic colors. To further enrich this experience, she adds ceramic sculptures of organic forms of exquisite elegance, recreating, in its entirety, a fantasy refuge where the power, appearance and light of color irrefutably prevail.

Founded by Isabel Tassara in 2018, Coral Contemporary Gallery is a contemporary art gallery that represents emerging and established artists worldwide. The gallery works as a commercial space to buy art as well as a place to enjoy different art shows. All exhibits are planned, and most works are site-specific. The gallery works together with the artists to help them expand and show whatever they have on their minds.

“By providing a space to immerse the public into various forms of art, the gallery serves as a place to contemplate, acquire and connect the art and the viewer, while expanding their boundaries,” says Tassara. “I consider it extremely important to love the art that we show and nurture an effective and trustful relationship with the artists that we work with,” she adds.

Located at 30 NW 34th Street in Midtown Miami, the gallery program not only includes exhibitions but also Artist Talks, discussion panels and gallery lectures, all free and open to the public.

Coral Contemporary Art Gallery also has created the Coral Contemporary Store, which is an online platform to bring art closer to the public. The shopify store features artwork of over 30 emerging and established artists from all over the world.

By providing a space to immerse the public in various forms of art, the gallery serves as a place to contemplate, acquire, and connect the art and the viewer, while expanding its boundaries.

About Gavin DeGraw

GRAMMY® Award-nominated multiplatinum singer and songwriter Gavin DeGraw‘s inimitable voice and soulful style boldly bloomed on his 2003 platinum-certified full-length debut, Chariot. About Guapo

A Houston act so early in their career has never had such prolific strides quite like Guapo, who many have come to also know as “Lil Guap”. The young upstart’s name truly does speak for itself as the 20-year-old rapper has captured the attention of what seems to be the entire city of Houston in such a short matter of time.

Beginning around his senior year of high school, Guapo was introduced to rap one day by the encouragement of his brother and the people around him. This past year, Guapo has played a pivotal role in being at the forefront of Houston’s newest faces by delivering consistent buzzing material such as his leading single, “Mr. Put It On.”

A new lingo, new swagger, and a fresh face are all things Guapo has used to his advantage while rising to the top of Houston’s budding music scene with co-signs from Lil Baby, Future and Young Thug.

Released in September, “Mr. Put It On” was Guapo’s first breakout single, reaching over a million views within days while sparking a new trend of style, TikTok moments, and social media lingo. Since then, Guapo has been gearing up to release his debut mixtape.

Guapo is now currently in the final stages of wrapping up his first solo mixtape with some notable features from big names across Texas. There’s no telling what surprises Guapo has in store for his promising debut, but it is safe to say that it will be one of the most highly anticipated projects coming out of the South by a new rap artist this year.

Bob Moses – Hanging On Live

Bob Moses shared a live performance video of their track “Hanging On.” Filmed in Hollywood, “Hanging On” is the fourth single released from the GRAMMY Award-winning duo’s new album The Silence in Between, out now via Astralwerks/Domino Recordings Co. Watch HERE.

“Hanging On” perfectly reflects the album’s duality of darkness and light, abounding in luminous melodies and effervescent rhythms even as Bob Moses (comprised of Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance) speak to a certain weariness at the world around them (e.g., “If everybody’s ruthless, I don’t know where we go”). “When there’s so much negativity and uncertainty, you’ve got to find a way to push through, because otherwise, everything crumbles into nihilism,” says Vallance. “That song came from asking ourselves, ‘Who do we put our faith in now?’, and then realizing that we had faith in each other and in our band. That’s what helped us to hang on.”

Last week, Bob Moses released their inaugural Spotify Singles recordings which include a re-work of their original song “Back to You” as well as a cover of INXS‘ “Need You Tonight.”

Recorded in Los Angeles, Side A is a slower, stripped-down take on the unabashedly poppy original “Back to You.” The new recording highlights the band’s ability to express feelings of longing and melancholy in a light, danceable track. Side B is a cover of INXS’ hit “Need You Tonight,” which brings an electronic flare to the classic funk-rock song.

Bob Moses‘ first full-length since signing to Astralwerks in a unique global partnership with Domino Recording Co., The Silence in Between is the latest body of work in a dynamic catalog that also includes their acclaimed debut album Days Gone By, a 2015 release featuring such standouts as “Tearing Me Up,” a Top 15 US Alternative radio hit nominated for two GRAMMY Awards, with a remix from RAC winning in the category of Best Remix Recording (Non-Classical).Their recent single, ”Love Brand New,“ is already a Top 5 hit on the Alternative Airplay chart and finds Bob Moses tapping into their deep-rooted love for ’90s alt-rock and left-of-center dance music. Billboard said: “the Nine-Inch Nails-influenced single is a dark, brooding slow build that pulsates with moody lust, growls power riffs and shows off a heavier sound for the duo.” Bob Moses are currently on a 25-date North American headlining tour, which will continue through May 21 in Vancouver with stops at such iconic venues as The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and The Warfield in San Francisco.

About Memphis Milano

The first collection of 55 products of the Memphis-Milano brand, under the guidance of Ettore Sottsass and the artistic direction of Barbara Radice, was presented in Milan on September 19, 1981 at the Arc ’74 showroom of Brunella and Mario Godani at number 2 Corso Europa. This was the period of the Salone del Mobile, and more than 2,000 people crowded outside the gallery, blocking the city traffic, for what immediately felt like an epoch-making event. The new language mixed elegance and kitsch, dialoguing with absurd and irrational shapes, using plastic laminates with patterns that simulate precious materials, but most of all it introduced the pleasure of play into the rational language of industrial production: Memphis-Milano quickly conquered public press and attention from all over the world.
