Cooks Who Feed – Aprons for Kids

Cooks Who Feed has already provided over 300,000 free meals to those in need. Now they will further that mission with the sale of their new aprons for kids. Every apron sold will provide 100 meals for those who need assistance. The new aprons come in three color combinations, and two sizes, fitting ages 3-12.

“We are really excited about our new aprons for kids,” explains Seema Sanghavi, founder of Cooks Who Feed. “Not only is there a great mission that the sale of them will support, but the aprons will help inspire kids to do more cooking, too. They are a win-win for everyone.”

Made using only high-quality fabrics that are eco-friendly and sustainable, the aprons for kids are all handmade through fair trade. They also match adult aprons offered by Cooks Who Feed, offering people a fun opportunity for kids and parents to have matching aprons in the kitchen.

Getting kids to cook is beneficial no matter what age they are. There is always something that kids can do to help learn to prepare meals, from preschool age through their teen years. It’s important to make sure kids are doing age-appropriate tasks, but that they get involved. A study published in the International Journal of Behavioral Nutrition and Physical Activity highlights the importance of kids learning cooking skills from an early age, which will help with confidence, retention, cooking practices, skills, cooking attitude, and diet quality.

Additional benefits that children learn by learning to cook and prepare meals to include:

  • Encourages an interest in food preparation and healthy eating habits.
  • Children learn a lifelong skill that they can use, as well as food safety awareness.
  • Kids get experience with following directions by using a recipe, as well as practicing math skills associated with measuring. They can also engage in scientific observations by seeing how foods change form during the preparation process.
  • They can help develop fine motor skills, as well as other skills related to various types of cooking, such as using your senses.
  • Kids can learn about family traditions by helping with meal preparation. This helps them understand their family more, as well as be in a position to carry those traditions on.
  • Cooking with kids can be a bonding experience that also creates great memories. It also helps to boosts self-esteem once they have successfully helped to prepare a meal.

“Kids who learn to cook are going to grow up with a great skill and hopefully a healthier diet,” added Sanghavi. “This holiday, getting them their own apron will help inspire them to get into the kitchen. Plus, it supports a charity, so that’s hard to beat.”

Parents and grandparents who want to get kids interested in cooking with them can encourage them to do so by letting the child pick what will be prepared. They can also encourage them by being supportive of their effort and how the dish turns out. Additionally, finding ways to make it fun is a good way to get them more interested, including getting them their own apron, a cookbook for kids, and a special cooking utensil.

Cooks Who Feed brings food lovers together to fight hunger. For every apron sold, food waste is rescued and 100 meals are provided to those in need. The company’s mission also focuses on sustainability, ensuring that all of their aprons are eco-friendly, and are ethically handmade. 360 Magazine is pleased to cover an important organization for the people of the world.

The aprons for kids are available in three designs and are mini versions of their top three adult aprons. They are 100% 9oz cotton canvas, available in one size that fits ages 3-7 and one for ages 8-12. The aprons feature an adjustable neck strap, reinforced stress points, one double pocket below the waist, and a chest pocket. To see the aprons for children, visit the site: https://cookswhofeed.com/products/the-mini-chef-christine-cushing-apron.

Cooks Who Feed has teamed up with five celebrity chefs so far, offering handcrafted aprons, with sales of them helping to feed the world. The company offers individual sales online, a retail line, and wholesale/corporate gifting options. The aprons are produced ethically in Dehli, India, where 40 women are employed to make them by hand. To get more information or help support the mission, visit the site at: https://cookswhofeed.com.

Nicky Jam – Melancol

Today, singer, songwriter, rapper, and actor Nicky Jam released the music video of the highly-anticipated ballad “Melancol” stemming from his new album Infinity.

“Melancol” is a ballad that surprised all of Nicky Jam’s fans, because it’s the first time we’ve ever heard the artist display his vocal range to that extent, captivating listeners in a melodic trip through the memories of a relationship that will no longer be. It has become one of the most praised songs from the new album thanks to its beautiful melody and impressive vocalizations.

“Everything that has a beginning has an end // All that becomes all, one day becomes nothing // Everything changes here, what did you expect // What goes up has to come down,” Nicky sings in Spanish in the chorus, in this very real scenario that resonates with so many.

The music video, directed by Gus, shows Nicky in a desert alone during a sunset, symbolizing all the beauty of a past relationship that now comes to an end, and then the period of “darkness” before a new love comes along and the sun rises again.

“Melancol” is part of Nicky Jam’s new album, Infinity, his most versatile yet, which takes the listener on a trip through all the genres he has mastered throughout his career, from old school reggaeton to raw and real rap verses, to the romantic and melodic slow-tempo songs that really showcase his singing voice.

360 Magazine is pleased to see artists from other countries thriving internationally. Nicky Jam is also preparing for his upcoming INFINITY TOUR 2022. This will be Nicky Jamߣs first official tour post-pandemic that will hit major cities across the United States and Canada. The tour will kick off in Boston on February 3, 2022, and end in Seattle on March 27, 2022, with stops in New York, Atlanta, Chicago, Toronto, Montreal, Orlando, Miami, Houston, Hidalgo, Ontario, Los Angeles, and San Jose. Tom Walker × Masked Wolf – Something Beautiful

Today, Brit Award-winning singer/songwriter Tom Walker releases his first new music in two years with “Something Beautiful,” a rousing, heartfelt collaboration with chart-busting Australian rapper Masked Wolf. Listen here via Epic Records/Relentless. The biggest selling UK signed artist of 2019 is currently at work on his sophomore album.

Acoustic driven and flanked by a huge trap beat, the song was written by Tom, Masked Wolf & Steve Mac. It was also produced by Mac, who has collaborated with Tom throughout his career. Kicking off with Masked Wolf, Tom’s instantly recognizable voice soon enters the arena in fine form, to create a special standout moment on this exciting new release.

“I’d already been working on the song when I heard ‘Astronaut In The Ocean’ and we asked Masked Wolf if he would have a go,” explains Tom. “He sent back a verse after a few hours and it was exactly what the song needed. I’d been going around the houses on different verses, never landing the right thing, but as soon as we added Masked Wolf into the mix, the song just worked! It’s about being super grateful for what you do have. Finding ‘Something Beautiful’ in the dark times.”

Masked Wolf adds; “When I heard the song, I thought what in God’s name is this?! There was so much emotion, it gave me goosebumps – I had to jump on it straight away. I felt there was a connection with Tom’s lyrics because I love talking about emotions and topics that matter.”

Masked Wolf‘s fame grew exponentially last year with the re-release of his track “Astronaut in the Ocean.” The song quickly accrued more than 75 million streams in under a month, eventually peaking at number four in Australia and reached number six on the Billboard Hot 100.

Tom, whose global streams have passed two billion, was the biggest selling UK signed artist of 2019 and is now working on new material. Expect a new album next year. 360 Magazine is excited to do coverage on international artists.

Walker Hayes – Fancy Like

Monument Records’ singer/songwriter, and country music maverick, Walker Hayes drops a new video for juggernaut single “Fancy Like” featuring GRAMMY-nominated superstar Kesha. (Watch Here) Shot in Los Angeles and directed by Rehman Ali, and produced by Magic Seed Productions, the video features Hayes and Kesha in a “Fancy Like” world of their own – tailgating, skateboarding, and dancing through the streets of LA. The video makes its broadcast debut with MTV and CMT on MTV Live, MTVU, MTV Biggest Pop, CMT, CMT Music, and ViacomCBS Times Square billboards today.

Atop every country streaming and sales chart since release in June, “Fancy Like” has spent a whopping twelve weeks, and counting, at the number one spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs and is among the top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs. At country radio, the track is in the top 5, and at Pop Radio, top 15.

“This song came out of a conversation about the misconceptions that celebrities or artists live a lavish lifestyle, and it’s important for folks to know that’s not necessarily true,” shares Hayes. “I’m truly about as fancy as Applebee’s on a date night, so creating a video celebrating the simple moments in life — like watching a movie or drinking box wine — was important to us. Kesha and I each bring our own versions of ‘Fancy Like’ to this, and I love how it came together.” 360 Magazine is excited to see how country music has evolved throughout the years.

“Fancy Like,” written by Hayes with Cameron Bartolini, Shane Stevens, and Josh Jenkins, and produced by Hayes, with Multi-GRAMMY Award winner Shane McAnally and Joe Thibodeau, is off his six-song EP Country Stuff. The EP features collaborations with Jake Owen, Carly Pearce, and Lori McKenna and displays the full range of Hayes’ creativity.

12AM – After Midnight

12AM releases new AFTER MIDNIGHT EP via Sony Music Entertainment in Canada. “VOICES”; featuring the Hxliday out now. “12AM has an innate ability to draft big choruses which is why more and more artists are tapping in to use his melodic talents.” LYRICAL LEMONADE. “It seems like everyone is trying to glorify the turn up right now, and 12AM definitely does that.” HIP HOP CANADA.

LA-by-way-of-Toronto artist 12AM redefines his sound and enters a new era on After Midnight. The EP arrives with the video for the new single Voicesfeaturing Motown rapper The Hxliday, out now via Sony Music Entertainment Canada. 360 Magazine is pleased to see this new release as it associates with Sony Music.

In the “Voices” video, directed by Logan Meis (Polo G, The Kid Laroi, Trippie Redd, Tyla Yaweh), the viewer is invited into the minds of 12AM and The Hxliday, both fighting against the darkest parts of their psyche and inner turmoil. With their thoughts tearing them apart, symbols of the past make their way in the form of angels, demons, and physical scars. They seem numb to the pain and reach a point where they might just be enjoying it. Each scene gets more and more violent as the story comes to a final climax.

On his major-label debut, the rising act’s pain and passion shine through as he forges a connection with his listeners worldwide. Introducing a bold sound, the lyrics equally shed light on his challenging upbringing and showcase his hard-won elevated lifestyle. Tapping Jutes, Pyrex (Whippa), and The Hxliday for the new project, 12AM continues to add to his impressive list of collaborators which includes 24kGoldn, Iann Dior, Jez Dior, Trevor Daniel, among others. Now sitting on top of over 26 million total streams, he appears on Spotify’s coveted New Music Friday and teardrop playlists, as well as Post Malone’s post’s playlist on the platform.

12AM states, “This music is what I’ve created throughout my time moving to LA from Canada. It’s a new sound and a new lane. All the hardships I’ve gone through over the last few years, I’m surprised I even got to this point because it was a really long road to get here. It was something that seemed impossible to put together and have be released, but itߣs coming out now and Iߣm really proud of it.”

The production on After Midnight illustrates stark differences from 12AM’s first album, Afterparty. Working with producers Evan Gartner (Iann Dior, Jutes, MASN) and Mason Sacks (Dominic Fike, Lil Tecca), the new EP has a dark and nocturnal trap palette that lives up to 12AM’s name. He states “it’s the type of music you like to play or listen to after midnight super happy, energetic, depressed and alone or with somebody getting down…I wanted to embody every feeling you get After Midnight, life is usually the most real at that time.”

After Midnight gives us a deeper look into the world 12AM has navigated and created for himself. His endless hustle, effortless bravado, and all-or-nothing attitude have certainly earned his place in the game. The EP’s opener “Cold Season” sets the scene around 12AM’s life before moving to LA, living in the frigid cold of Canada with an inescapable feeling of isolation. For most of his life, he was responsible for taking care of his sick mother, until he tragically lost her in his teens. “If I could see my momma one more time Iߣd tell her that I’m all good,” he sings on the track, “I’d be lying but it’s all good…” At a young age, he struggled to financially support himself alone and eventually faced homelessness. Hit with these insurmountable burdens, he bottled up his emotions and channeled what he could in his writing. “Voices” paints a picture of the aftermath, torn emotions, and a heavy guard up due to inner child wounds. The lyrics describe the fallout of heartbreak, one day having the support of a loved one and left for dead the next. With distant distorted and melancholic piano strings, The Hxliday joins in seamlessly on the back half of the track with a striking feature that matches 12AMߣs energy. Paired with a booming 808 and stuttering high hats, alongside the duoߣs unmatched flow, the song explodes into an anthem about love and loss. The EP isnߣt all moody bangers though “come over” is a playful, sultry groove with a “Netflix & Chill” kind of vibe that garnered success on TikTok over the summer, including a post from influencer Sommer Ray who joined in on the dance trend. Other tracks on the EP include “Lights” featuring Pyrex (Whippa) and “Ski Mask.”

With more music on the horizon, the future looks incredibly bright and 12AM’s repertoire is only at its inception. Prolific in his dexterity, 12AM is consistently writing for other artists as well as himself. He can be seen frequently working with Elijah Woods and Omer Fedi (Kid Laroi “Without You,” 24kGoldn & Iann Dior “Mood,” and Lil Nas X “Montero”). Touring accolades include shows with Internet Money, Iann Dior, Jez Dior, 24kGoldn, Jutes, Trevor Daniel, and Souly Had. No stranger to media coverage and acclaim from tastemakers, praise has rolled in from industry key players such as Complex, Elevator Mag, idolator, Lyrical Lemonade, and Vice’s Noisey.

Reflecting on his work, 12AM says, “My main focus is just to help people. That’s why I make music. When I get messages from fans saying Iߣve helped them through depression or whatever they are going through it means the world to me, I canߣt really believe it. That’s what I do this for. Whenever I play a show and fans are singing the lyrics back and when they meet me after the show I just want to have a positive impact and be there for them, because they are all that matters in this music industry.”

Felix Jaehn – Breathe

Esteemed German producer Felix Jaehn finally returns with the release of his second studio album, Breathe. The 15-track LP follows a string of lead singles: ‘Close Your Eyes’ ft, Miss Li, ‘I Got A Feeling’ with Robin Schulz and Georgia Ku, ‘No Therapy’ ft. Bryn & Nea, ‘One More TIme’ with Robin Schulz and Alida, and more. Arriving after Felix Jaehn’s personal journey with transformation and self-discovery, Breathe delivers dance music with a message, with each song telling a unique story that builds on the other.

After achieving almost everything an artist can dream of at such a young age, Felix Jaehn found himself at an impasse. “I got it into my head that I wanted to be a DJ and a producer. I don’t want to have a normal office job, but make my dream come true every day in my life. And after all that was fulfilled, I needed something new,” the talent explains. With some time to think about his destiny, Felix embarked on his “transformation and self-discovery phase,” leading to him spending time in a mindfulness retreat in a monastery. It was during this time that the producer reached the epiphany that his music could move and touch people — it can be life-affirming. And so Breathe was born. The album serves almost as an autobiography of the German producer’s time after self-discovery and his post-transformation, conveying that it’s OK to let go, stand by yourself, and have ups & downs in life.

Breathe is a culmination of the style that Felix Jaehn is known for while delivering a more personal touch with songs that are lyrically and melodically connected. Featuring 11 previously released tracks and new releases such as the inspirational and high-energy offering, ‘Old Me,’ feel-good hit ‘Somebody You Like,’ and sonically enticing ‘Automatic’ ft. Jon Edyen, Breathe shares hope and happiness to listeners throughout the entirety of its run-time. 360 Magazine is excited to listen to this new song which is an international artist.

The album’s title track, ’Breathe,’ is in itself an example of how anything can persevere, given that it almost didn’t make it onto the album. Felix recounts, “When we wanted to finish the song later, we found that Miss Li’s vocal files had been accidentally deleted. We tried to re-record the part again, but it was impossible to recreate that moment. The song just is a snapshot. I then decided that we would take the first demo version and put it on the album. That was just a magical moment for me”. Despite being the first demo version, the impressive track primes listeners for the journey ahead of them, driven by Miss Li’s emotive vocals and Felix’s impressive sound design. The track is all-encompassing of what the album is all about.

I had a note on my phone for years that said, “BREATHE, INHALE, LET GO.Breathing in, building tension, especially before shows, and then breathing out, letting go, I think that’s totally important because you can influence the complete flow of energy in your body with your breathing.” – Felix Jaehn

Closing off the end of his personal journey through self-discovery and finding happiness, Breathe delivers life-affirming danceable music with personal, emotional, and authentic messages. With his album, Felix Jaehn spreads positive vibes, happiness, and a good mood. The LP positions the German talent as a leader that is ready to take over the world of electronic music with an optimistic outlook, showing fans that it’s okay to be down sometimes because the party goes on and will be better than ever before.
