Today, global superstar, producer, and DJ Kygo shares his brand-new album, Thrill Of The Chase, out now via RCA Records.

The acclaimed artist’s first full-length body of work since his 2020 release Golden Hour, Thrill Of The Chase is a collection of songs that trace Kygo’s career over the past few years, showcasing his signature lush, piano-driven production while highlighting his penchant for genre experimentation.

Across the 14-track album – which features collaborations with X Ambassadors, DNCE, Lukas Graham, Sam Feldt, Plested, Dean Lewis, and more – Thrill Of The Chase runs the gamut of vibrant, disco and house-infused singles like “Dancing Feet” and “Fever” to the soulful and melodic “Lost Without You” and “Freeze.”

“‘Thrill Of The Chase’ is a collection of songs I worked on over the last two years that started during Covid and ended with sessions in Los Angeles,” says Kygo of the release. “I’ve had the chance to play or tease the unreleased music throughout the year at shows and the feedback was unbelievable. A few of the songs on ‘Thrill Of The Chase’ are different from anything I’ve ever made in the past and I’m really excited for everyone to finally hear the album in its entirety.”

Recently coming off headlining performances at Life Is Beautiful, Lollapalooza, BottleRock, and a sold-out show at Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo, last month Kygo teased several tracks off Thrill Of The Chase to fans during his headlining show at Madison Square Garden in New York. Later this year, Kygo will be hitting the road to tour across South America, with select dates in Sao Paulo, Buenos Aires, Lima, and more.

On the track, Rapp details her tumultuous, tight knit relationship with her mother. “Don’t tell my mom, I’m fallin’ apart,” she belts over minimal synths. “She hurts when I hurt, my scars are her scars.” The EP is rounded out by the songs “What Can I Do,” “Too Well,” and “Moon,” each of which showcases a slightly different shade of Rapp’s musical palate. It’s the kind of collection with a song for every mood or emotional state.

After probably 4 years of talking about putting out a project— my EP is here”, Rapp says of the new release. “I’m anxious and super fucking excited for you to hear. I hope you love it. and if you don’t love it, please don’t tell me. I’m super sensitive.”

The EP follows the singles “Don’t Tell My Mom,” “In the Kitchen,” and “Tattoos,” which have amassed more than 22 million combined streams. Outside of music, she stars in the hit HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls, which has its season 2 premiere next week. The 2022 Hot Wheels Legends Tour is coming to an exciting close with the Global Semi-Final set to air on Thursday, November 10, followed by the Global Grand Finale presented from Jay Leno’s Garage on Saturday, November 12. Both virtual events will feature epic builds that are competing for a chance to become the next Hot Wheels Garage of Legendsä inductee and immortalized as an official Hot Wheels 1:64 die-cast vehicle sold around the world.

Seven Attractions That Tell The Story Of Native Americans In Tennessee

You don’t have to look far to see the lasting legacy of Native Americans in Tennessee — in fact, the name “Tennessee” is derived from “Tanasi,” a Cherokee village in what is now Monroe County. Today, the state is home to more than 20,000 Native Americans and a rich culture and history waiting to be experienced by travelers. Below, check out seven attractions that tell the story of Tennessee’s Native American heritage.

Travel Tip: The Trail of Tears National Historic Trail runs east to west across Tennessee, carving a tragic story of the removal of Cherokee Indians from their ancestral homelands.

Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Pinson Mounds State Archaeological Park covers more than 1,200 acres and contains at least 15 Native American mounds, which were both burial and ceremonial in purpose. The park’s archaeological features and wildlife can be viewed along six miles of interconnecting trails, including paved trails, which are wheelchair/bicycle accessible. The park’s Pinson Mounds museum offers further insight into these fascinating structures; it is designed to replicate a Native American mound, offering 4,500 square feet of exhibit space, an archaeological library, an 80-seat theater and a “Discovery Room”’ for historical exploration.

Mound Bottom State Archaeological Area (only accessible to the public through hikes led by Harpeth River State Park rangers)

Head to the seven-acre Mound Bottom State Archaeological Area in Kingston Springs (just west of Nashville), where you’ll find the largest number of Native American ceremonial mounds in Tennessee — more than a dozen. Researchers believe the area was occupied between approximately 1000 and 1300 AD and was an important civic and ceremonial center connected to the Mississippian site of Cahokia, which was located across the river in what is now St. Louis. The Mound Bottom site is only accessible to the public through hikes led by Harpeth River State Park rangers — check the park’s events calendar for upcoming experiences.

Audubon Acres

Chattanooga’s oldest wildlife sanctuary, Audubon Acres, offers more than five miles of hiking trails over 130 acres on South Chickamauga Creek, along with abundant opportunities for picnicking, wildlife viewing, and photography. It’s also a spot steeped in Native American history. The visitor center houses an archeological museum showcasing one of the largest publicly viewable Native artifact collections in Chattanooga, while the Spring Frog Cabin, a Trail of Tears site, is a wonderfully preserved example of Cherokee architecture from the mid-1700s. Going back even further, Little Owl Village at Audubon Acres is believed to be the site of a 16^th century Napochie village that the Spanish Tristan DeLuna expedition encountered during their travels north from Florida.

Cumberland Gap National Historical Park

As the first great gateway to the American west, Cumberland National Historic Park is a must-visit for anyone with an interest in Tennessee’s Native American history. Located an hour north of Knoxville where the borders of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Virginia converge, the 24,000-acre park features miles of game trails that were originally used by Native Americans, allowing visitors to literally walk in the footsteps of the original stewards of the land. Later, those same trails became the footpaths for more than 300,000 settlers heading west over the Appalachian Mountains.

The Sequoyah Birthplace Museum

With the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Nation at the helm, the Sequoyah Birthplace Museum is Tennessee’s only tribally operated historical attraction. The East Tennessee museum telling the amazing story of Sequoyah, creator of the Cherokee writing system. Never before, or since, in the history of the world has one man, not literate in any language, perfected a system for reading and writing a language until Sequoyah. Located in the Great Smoky Mountains on the shores of beautiful Tellico Lake, the museum recently added the Max D. Ramsey Shoreline Trail, with 1.5 miles of walking trail, along the shoreline, bridges and boardwalks through the marshy areas.

Red Clay State Historic Park

The tragic Trail of Tears begins at Red Clay State Historic Park. Encompassing 263-acres of narrow valleys formerly used as cotton and pastureland, the park site was the last seat of Cherokee national government before the Indian Removal Act, which resulted in most of the Cherokee people in the area being forced to emigrate west in the 1830s. It was here that the Cherokee learned that they had lost their mountains, streams and valleys forever. On the 263-acre property, you’ll find hiking trails, reconstructed sleeping huts, homesteads, council houses, the Blue Hole Spring, which served as a water supply during council meetings and the Eternal Flame, a memorial for the Cherokee people and those who were lost on the Trail of Tears.

Cherokee Removal Memorial Park and Museum

Cherokee Indian Removal Memorial, located on the banks of the Tennessee River in Birchwood, was one of the main staging areas for the Trail of Tears. Thousands of Cherokee Indians camped here before their infamous trip to the west. Lying near the center of the ancestral land of the Cherokee Nation, this area had nine encampments of thousands of Cherokees that waited weeks to be sent across the river here at Blythe Ferry. Today, a History Wall feature offers visitors a detailed visual re-telling of not only the Trail of Tears, but also the centuries-long saga of the literate and highly civilized Cherokee culture in Tennessee. A Memorial Wall, meanwhile, pays tribute to the people who died during the Trail of Tears — a necessary reminder of this tragic episode in our nation’s history.

One of Latin music’s top songwriters imagines the story of the pandemic’s separation of secret lovers- set to a unique and seductive musical fusion of Colombian Cumbia, electro rock/funk rhythms and classic guitar riffs and solos drawn straight from the earliest days of rock n roll.

As the first advance single from Juanes’ highly anticipated 2023 new Album, “AMORES PROHIBIDOS” represents the start of a new creative cycle of original material from the 27time GRAMMY & LATIN GRAMMY winner.

Today sees Colombian Rock Superstar JUANES release his new single and video “AMORES PROHIBIDOS”– marking the first listen fans will have into the new musical growth begun by the globally renowned artist following his recent GRAMMY & LATIN GRAMMY winning ORIGEN album and world tour.

“The song idea began from an article I read during the pandemic on the difficulty of maintaining private relationships, those that could not be known to the world, because of the challenges of seeing the other person. Musically, if you take the beat out of the song, it’s actually a cumbia, a type of Colombian folk music, but then when you bring back in the rest of the production, and loop, it takes on a sound and vibe a little like Andre 3000 and ‘Hey Ya’ – and then I added a solo guitar in the style of Chuck Berry for more of a classic rock n roll vibe. That meshes with the poetic lyrics about that person you meet ‘In The Dark’ when no one else can see.” – Juanes

This new creative cycle meshes that continued return to electric guitar rock with a deep dive back into his own long-praised skill as an ardent songwriter (recently inducted into The Latin Songwriter’s Hall of Fame) – who turned his focus inward during the pandemic to reexamine life, love, family, and more of his own emotional intricacies and imagination.

This resulting two years of writing and recording has left both the artist and his close collaborating producer (and fellow multiple Grammy winner) Sebastian Krys filled with excitement about soon sharing this new level creativity as a full album release in early 2023, (marking Juanes’ first all-original album since 2019’s “Más Futuro Que Pasado”).

Today’s new song release also sees the premiere of a new music video (directed by José Emilio Sagaró) that once again sees Juanes eschew frequent Latin music video formula for a preference to instill more modern visual art imagery, while still intercut with footage of live musicianship and this song’s intimate & passionate storyline.

“The concept of the video is abstract. The goal was to create a moving art piece. I wanted to give the audience a different look into Juanes. The bed represents what is personal and intimate, the eye represents your conscience. We wanted to show the thrill of forbidden love but in a conceptual way depict how your conscience is always “aware” and “watching”. In the darker scenes we wanted to represent being alone with your thoughts where you can find wisdom and serenity which is depicted by the owl. At the climax of the video the moving lights was our way to show the euphoria of the chase between lovers. We were honored to work with Juanes and loved creating this music video.”- José Emilio Sagaró
