Still Life with Earthenware Vessel and Blue Ewer by Mark Gertler via 360 MAGAZINE

Unseen work by Mark Gertler

UNSEEN WORK BY MODERN BRITISH ARTIST MARK GERTLER EMERGES FROM PRIVATE COLLECTION AFTER 100 YEARS

Chorley’s auctioneers are thrilled to offer a publicly unseen, never before exhibited work by the great British artist Mark Gertler (1891-1939). The work, titled Still Life with Earthenware Vessel and Blue Ewer has been in the private collection of esteemed art connoisseur, Lt Colonel Murray “Victor” Burrow Hill, DSO, MC (1887-1986) for over 100 years. It is believed Victor may have acquired the work directly from the artist in the same year it was painted, which was during Gertler’s stay with fellow artists in France in 1922. It will be offered in a sale titled Fine Paintings, including the Victor Hill Collection of Modern British Art at Chorley’s auctioneers on December 5, 2022

Commenting on the work, Chorley’s Director Thomas Jenner-Fust says: “We are delighted to be able to offer this previously unseen work by Mark Gertler, a unique and talented artist. The earthenware pitcher, blue enamel jug and stark white tablecloth, though atypical in Gertler’s work, beautifully captures the character of rustic French interiors of the period. The landscape glimpsed through a framed window and the softly painted diagonal strokes are typical of Gertler’s landscapes between 1919 and 1920.”

Gertler was born in Spitalfields, London, the youngest child of impoverished Polish Jewish immigrants. He took night classes in art at Regent Street Polytechnic, before winning a national art competition that would inspire him to apply for a scholarship from the Jewish Education Aid Society. On attaining it he was able to study at the esteemed Slade School of Art. Although highly accomplished and having several patrons, he spent much of his life juggling his finances and in mental despair. He suffered from depressive episodes triggered by his unrequited love for the English painter Dora Carrington (1893-1932), who he met at the Slade. He also had an unpredictable, slightly arrogant personality, which was often his downfall – after a visit to Virginia Woolfe in 1916, she exclaimed “Good God what an egoist”. Despite this, he was passionate about his craft and admired by many, including leading literary figures and was the subject of many characters in books, such as Gombauld in Aldous Huxley’s Crome Yellow and Loerke in D.H. Lawrence’s Women in Love. His modernist works were well-received, and he was considered a genius by some. His latter works however were more experimental – spatially flatter and with a greater emphasis on textures and surface patterns, causing interest to wane. Struggling to stay true to his artistic aspirations he committed suicide in 1939. The oil on canvas is estimated to fetch £6,000-£8,000 although, due to its emergence after so many years and never having been seen by the public, interest could push it higher.

In the same private collection is a study for the large-scale work Why Weren’t You Out Yesterday by the great British artist Sir Alfred Munnings (1878-1959). The smaller scale preparatory painting shows us first-hand, how the artist worked and gives us clues to the creative processes he went through to produce the finished masterpiece. Why Weren’t You Out Yesterday is considered one of Munnings’ most humorous paintings. It features his wife Violet, a family friend and four of his own horses. Painted in 1935 it was inspired by another portrait Munnings had seen, which showed some members of a prominent New Jersey family (a Mrs. Cutting and her daughters), which had amused him. He said: “So taken was I with the arrangement that I repeated almost the same design on another canvas for my own amusement.”

Why Weren’t You Out Yesterday by Sir Alfred Munnings (1878-1959). Estimate £40,000-£60,000

The work offers us the ‘inside track’ on how Munnings experimented in order to decide which elements worked well. Chorley’s Director Thomas Jenner-Fust relays: “In this study it is likely that Munnings would have painted the central hunter first, as the one to the right is a worked-up version, with reconsidered elements such as the angle of the head and twitch of the left ear, communicating the horse’s state of alert, both of which feature in the final painting. Spontaneity, immediacy, understanding and above all, enjoyment are apparent in this study. It also captures Munnings returning, as he did throughout his life, to two of his greatest passions; horses and hunting.” The work, which was exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art in 1939 carries an estimate of £40,000-£60,000.

Also in Victor’s collection is a work by the Irish painter Roderic O’Conor (1860-1940). Born in Milltown in Ireland and brought up in Dublin, he studied at Ampleforth College and the Metropolitan School of Art in Dublin, before venturing to Antwerp in 1883 to study at the Academie Royale. Like many artists at the time, he went on to Paris to study and after falling in love with France, he went on to spend much of his life there. He painted in Brittany amongst other regions, often with the Impressionist painters Vincent Van Gogh and Paul Gaugin, who had a direct impact on his work.

Le Loing at Sundown by Roderic O’Conor via 360 MAGAZINE
Le Loing at Sundown by Roderic O’Conor (1860-1940). Estimate £40,000-£60,000

The painting in the sale dates from circa 1902 and is in oil on canvas. Titled Le Loing at Sundown it references Montigny-sur-Loing, a small town outside of Paris. Highly popular with artists in the 19th century, they flocked to take advantage of painting the lush forest of Fontainebleau and the winding river, as well as to enjoy the camaraderie of fellow artists. O’Conor’s affection for the region meant that he returned several times in the mid-1890s, where he had good friends, many of whom were also artists.

O’Conor created a series of landscapes of serene views along the tree-lined river Loing and the present work is a fine example. Discussing the painting Thomas Jenner-Fust said: “To render the failing light he has deployed a palette of bright colours, including pink, purple and two different yellows, exaggerating the local colours of the scene itself. The derivation of this technique, still highly radical in 1902, reverts back to the artist’s precocious discovery of Vincent van Gogh (the expressionist gestures) and Paul Gauguin (the exotic palette) a decade earlier.” Described by the Irish Times as ‘The great forgotten Irish painter’2.  O’Conor’s works are in many public collections around the globe, the painting carries an estimate of £40,000-£60,000.

Roses in a Vase by Sir Matthew Smith via 360 MAGAZINE
Roses in a Vase by Sir Matthew Smith, CBE (1879-1959). Estimate £15,000-£20,000

Another exciting addition to Victor Hill’s collection was Roses in a Blue Vase by British painter Sir Matthew Smith, CBE (1879-1959). Yorkshire-born Smith studied at the Manchester School of Art and then the esteemed Slade School of Art. He also trained under Henri Matisse in Paris, where he gained an interest in Fauvism. Following his short-lived marriage to fellow artist Gwen Salmond (1877–1958), he was infamously in a relationship with the artist Vera Cunningham (1897-1955), who modelled for his nude works between 1923 and 1926. Invalided out of the army, Smith spent time in Aix-en-Provence, France. His work at the time was unnaturalistic in form and reflected the Fauves, with the use of vibrant, bold colours. His first solo exhibition is recorded as being at Tooth’s Gallery in London in 1926.

Discussing the work, Thomas tells us it was produced in 1927 in Smith’s studio in London and Victor Hill acquired the work for his collection by 1929. He says: “1927 saw the prolific production of a host of flower paintings by Smith, with ever increasing complexity of arrangements and compositions. Smith enjoyed collecting old vases and jugs for his still lifes, finding them in junk shops and second-hand shops in London, an activity he called ‘ferreting’. They played an important role in the flower pieces, providing interesting curvilinear shapes and strong colour.” Roses in a Blue Jug is a superb example from the middle of this period when things were going very well for Smith, as his work was selling, beginning to be reviewed in the art press and the prestigious Bond Street gallery Arthur Tooth & Sons became his dealer in 1928.” In oil on canvas, the painting is estimated to fetch £15,000-£20,000.

Emergency Room
“We need humanity, more than cleverness… life will be violent, and all will be lost” read the screen at Emergency Room’s “Borderline” show. With a name that stems from the belief that the world needs to drastically change its wasteful ways, the Beirut-based sustainable, and ethically focused brand portrayed a united world where flags are obsolete. On the runway, a series of white pieces, hand printed with various visa stamps represented the different countries designer Eric Mathieu Ritter and his team have visited. Elsewhere, the collection focused on pairing up-cycled denim with white cotton and mish-mashing sports jerseys, knitted sports scarves, and polyester flags, to usher in the upcoming World Cup.

Since leaving Libya in 2014 upon the outbreak of civil war, Libyan designer Ibrahim Sheban has used his designs to remind the world of the undiscovered beauty of Libya, his eternal muse. “His latest “Never Love Me Again” collection is composed of irreverent designs, leather jackets, trench coats and an updated kandora demonstrating how society is rapidly evolving. Silk abaya-inspired ensembles awash in a palette of Arabian sunset-to-sunrise colors sashayed down the runway to the tune of a heritage soundtrack. After six days of international shows and new perspectives, it was a refreshing reminder of the region’s origins and the creative mystique that emanates from the Arabian Peninsula. This time, the simplicity of the abaya came to the fore, consciously enhanced with sartorial elements like trench collars, fringe details and innovative textiles and prints like polka dot and architectural tile motifs.

Stuttgart's Christmas Market by Jean-Claude Winkler via 360 MAGAZINE

Stuttgart’s Christmas Markets

Stuttgart’s Christmas Markets Re-Open for the Perfect Holiday Weekend

After two years of being closed due to Covid, Stuttgart is reopening its famous Christmas market as will the nearby towns of royal Ludwigsburg and medieval Esslingen. Illuminations and Swabian fare delight visitors

Starting Wednesday, November 23 at 6:00 pm with a concert in the courtyard of the Old Palace, Stuttgart will re-open its beloved Christmas market. In heart of the old town between the New Palace, Schiller Square, the Old Palace, and the marketplace, the merry scene will unfold once again. It will be especially sweet after two years of being closed for Covid. Dating back to the early 17th century, Stuttgart’s market is one of Europe’s finest with 290 kiosks of handmade treasures, delicious foods, including its own Springerle stall and the dark, sweet Hutzelbrot, along with stunning light displays from the botanical garden down to the main square.

One of the best parts about visiting Stuttgart before Christmas, is that you not only get one of Germany’s oldest and most established markets, but also two additional and distinctly different Christmas markets. The royal town of Ludwigsburg will start a day earlier and the elegant backdrop of the renaissance palace and gardens is a treat; while the medieval Christmas market at Esslingen will have your blood thrumming to the beat of the drums, the costumes, and fire jugglers. Scents of mulled wine, gingerbread and punch waft through the air accompanied by seasonal treats.

Stuttgart Christmas Market

In Stuttgart, the painstakingly-decorated roofs of the stalls, from Santa Claus with his fluffy white beard to traditional Nativity figures or wonderful winter landscapes, never fail to delight. Each year visitors and a jury choose the best Christmas market stalls. Traditional Swabianspecialties and delicacies, include a “Springerle” stall selling not only the carved wooden molds needed to produce this traditional cookie, but also the aniseed-flavored biscuits themselves. And “Hutzelbrot” – a sweet fruit loaf made of dark yeast dough — is an absolute ‘must’ when strolling round the Christmas market. Children get their own special activities at the Children’s Christmas market with hands-on activities, a genuine miniature steam engine, and the live animals in the Nativity scene.

Another special addition is the Stuttgart Christmas Garden in the Wilhelma Zoological and Botanical Gardens which transform into a romantic fairy-tale wonderland with glittering light installations and audio-visual effects. The circular walk takes visitors past illuminated animal sculptures and laser animations in the redwood grove.

Ludwigsburg Baroque Christmas Market

Around 150 stalls at the Ludwigsburg Baroque Christmas Market, could fulfil every Christmas stocking: glove puppets and music boxes, antique and modern Christmas tree decorations and much more besides are on offer. In addition to the traditional Christmas Market food, there are also Swabian specialties to delight the palate, such as Schupfnudeln (potato noodles) and “Holzofendinnede” – a delicacy similar to tarte flamb, baked in a wood-fired

oven. The gingerbread at the Ludwigsburg Baroque Christmas Market is traditionally served fresh from the oven. The illuminations are no less special than the arrangement of the stalls, which reflect the symmetry and straight lines of Ludwigsburg’s streets and the gardens of its famous Baroque palace. In the evenings there’s atmospheric music to round off the day.

Esslingen Christmas and Medieval Market

At Esslingen’s Medieval and Christmas market, merchants in historical costumes will peddle their wares just as they did hundreds of years ago. Dyers, felters, blacksmiths and glass blowers will demonstrate traditional crafts, and stilt walkers, jugglers, fire eaters and minstrels ply their trades around the more than 200 stalls. The concert of medieval music in St. Paul’s Cathedral and the atmospheric backdrop of timbered houses and romantic alleyways are what make Esslingen’s Christmas and Medieval Market an experience second to none. Various workshops are on offer: Visitors can learn the old market language, find out how to smoke food, take part in a stick-fighting course or produce their own tinder. The main highlight will take place on 21st December at the winter solstice, when visitors and market traders alike join in the popular torchlight procession up to the castle. Once they get there, the fire show begins and the winter is welcomed with drums and song.

In general, the Christmas markets are open by 11 am and close around 8.30 pm, and even later on the weekends. The markets in Ludwigsburg and Esslingen open on Tuesday, November 22 and run through December 22 while Stuttgart’s market begins November 23 and runs to December 23. So, a long weekend will give you just enough time to visit all of the markets and enjoy their individual handicrafts, atmospheres, and delicacies. The towns of Ludwigsburg and Esslingen are only a 20-minute train ride from the city center.

Holiday weekend Plus

The city also has a great deal to offer in addition to its lovely Christmas markets! Some people say that you cannot get a better car experience outside of Stuttgart. The Mercedes Benz Museum, the Porsche Museum, the classic cars at MOTORWORLD, overnighting in a car-themed room, the Bertha Benz Route, and Daimler’s workshop are enough to make auto hearts beat a bit faster. Others get excited about the modern architecture, including the White Housing Estate, the new library, and the palaces and gardens. Many visitors appreciate the fine arts and history museums and evenings at the famous ballet and opera. Stuttgart has 7 Michelin stars but the small cafes and non-starred restaurants offer excellent local dishes. Surrounded by wine hills, the city always has excellent local varieties on tap, and you can enjoy delightful evenings in seasonal pubs in the wine hills. The shopping is luxurious and distinctive with many brands and stores that one does not find in the U.S. or Canada. Stuttgart is easily accessible from all major European cities by train and plane and hotels are plentiful.

The evening’s formal presentation was highlighted by an official proclamation presented to Drai by Clark County Commissioners Tick Segerblom and William McCurdy II, symbolizing Drai’s standing as a one-of-a-kind Las Vegas hallmark, as well as a special video message from Las Vegas Mayor Carolyn Goodman.

With a nod to what he calls the “Drai’s family” both past and present, Dustin Drai stated, “Yes, we’re celebrating 25 years of Drai’s Las Vegas, but what we’re really celebrating is 25 years of being a part of Las Vegas nightlife and how my father has created not only jobs for the people that have worked here, but the nightlife industry overall which has provided livelihoods and careers to thousands and thousands of people who may or may not have come to Las Vegas without him coming here.”

Victor and Dustin were honored with a specially crafted 25-year anniversary cake before mingling and partying the night away at Drai’s After Hours, where guests including Wiz Khalifa, who headlined a Drai’s LIVE concert at Drai’s Nightclub earlier in the night, enjoyed an electric party that featured the return of many of Drai’s original house DJ’s who brought the night’s vibe back to the club’s early roots of house music.

Founder and visionary Victor Drai brought Drai’s, his uber-popular Los Angeles restaurant, to Las Vegas in 1997. By 1999, Drai’s had become Las Vegas’ in-demand hotspot for after-hours, with a line of people clamoring to get in from late at night through the early morning. In 2014, Drai expanded his nightlife footprint to the 11thstory rooftop of the hotel with the introduction of Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub, a palatial 65,000-square-foot club, as part of the property’s rebrand to The Cromwell, a swanky boutique hotel. Drai’s After Hours remains in its original location in the basement of the property – where the walls are still awash in Drai’s signature red with Victor’s legendary art collection hanging from the walls.

Victor’s son, Dustin Drai, now ensures the continued success of his father’s vision by overseeing Drai’s After Hours and bringing epic full-length performances by A-list artists to the Drai’s Beachclub • Nightclub stage as part of the Drai’s LIVE series.

The Drai’s celebration weekend kicked off with a bang on Friday, Oct. 14, when music superstar Chris Brown attended the high energy concert by Grammy-nominated singer, Fabolous, at Drai’s Nightclub.

Over the past 25 years, Drai’s has hosted countless superstars and icons including Quincy Jones, Timbaland, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Kourtney Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, Kevin Hart, Rick Ross, 50 Cent and more who have performed or partied at Drai’s in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas. There have been several exclusive events at Drai’s including E! Network’s Oscar Viewing and After Party in 2010, Jones and Chris Brown’s “Thriller” Night in 2015, and the Billboard Music Awards After Party in 2016.

Drai’s is the only nightclub in Las Vegas that offers full-length concerts by today’s top-charting artists. Every weekend, the Drai’s LIVE concert series brings big names like Chris Brown, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby and TIP to the rooftop of The Cromwell, with banner performances set to the stunning backdrop of the lights of the Las Vegas Strip. Drai’s Nightclub is open from 10 p.m. – 4 a.m. Friday – Saturday throughout the month. Drai’s Nightclub will be open on Sunday, Oct. 30 for a special Halloween weekend celebration. The upcoming Drai’s Nightclub lineup can be found at https://draisgroup.com/las-vegas/calendar-view/.

Human Rights Campaign Equality Votes PAC

Human Rights Campaign Equality Votes PAC Launches Ad Campaign to Activate Equality Voters and Secure Victory for U.S. Senate Candidate Cheri Beasley

With less than 50 days before midterm elections, Equality Votes PAC launches effort to educate, persuade, and mobilize equality voters in North Carolina

Today, the Human Rights Campaign Equality Votes PAC announced the recent launch of a digital ad campaign in North Carolina, one state included in a greater campaign that’s simultaneously targeting three other key battleground states: Georgia, Wisconsin, and Nevada. The ad focuses on turning out voters in support of Cheri Beasley for U.S. Senate. Candidates like Beasley are critical to preserving the pro-equality majority in the U.S. Senate and to combating anti-LGTBQ+ legislation on the state level; targeted, discriminatory bills that have grown to a total of more than 345 bills across the country this year alone.

The ads underscore for voters what’s at stake this election, making it clear that outlawing abortion is just the beginning. These digital ads will also highlight threats to the rights and freedoms of LGBTQ+ people, including rolling back marriage equality and making it harder to vote.

Appearing across pre-roll, connected television, on platforms such as Roku and Hulu, the HRC Equality Votes PAC ad campaign is also featured across highly-trafficked websites and social media channels. The ad buy is aimed to engage in excess of 750,000 equality voters who don’t habitually vote in midterm elections. Equality voters, comprising more than 62 million people nationwide, are a demographically and geographically diverse voting bloc who are united by the advancement of LGBTQ+ equality. These voters tend to be younger, more racially diverse, and more female than the general electorate. This year’s ad campaign is one part of HRC Equality Votes PAC’s efforts to elect candidates in tight-running races.

Jennifer Pike Bailey, HRC’s Deputy Director of Government Affairs released the following statement:

“We were outraged at the Supreme Court’s dangerous decision to overturn Roe v. Wade this summer, and the Court’s most extreme members have openly encouraged even more rollbacks to the rights of the LGBTQ+ community, women, and people of color.  Therefore, we must mobilize voters who will turn out to elect pro-equality lawmakers to Congress as well as state legislators who will fend off attacks from those who are stopping at nothing to write legalized discrimination into law. Equality voters nationwide, but especially those in Georgia, have the power to make history and swing elections, as proven by the record number of LGBTQ+ candidates who won federal, state, and local races in 2020. We are in unprecedented times, with threats to the lives and livelihoods of LGBTQ+ people growing by the day. It’s why we must make every effort to set pro-equality candidates like Cheri Beasley on a path to victory.”

In 2020, HRC’s Equality Votes PAC’s efforts drove nearly 130,000 clicks to HRC voting resources, a significant contributor to the margin of victory in key races. The power of Equality Voters was also underscored in 2020 when a wave of pro-equality and openly LGBTQ+ candidates were elected in states across the country.

Supporters in any state can go to hrc.org/vote to register to vote, verify their voter registration, find out about early in-person or mail voting options, and receive election reminders. Once again, he delivers a simultaneously catchy and confessional anthem laced with hard-hitting, albeit heartfelt observations. He muses, “I know it’s all family, and admits, “I know a lot of people thought I wouldn’t make it out them streets. Meanwhile, his vocals wrap around the acoustic guitar-laden beat, adding organic energy and a natural vibe to this instantly irresistible track. The accompanying cinematic music video brings the story to life on screen.

It only paves the way for more music to come from KB Mike

Simultaneously, his debut EP Old Wounds continues to put up numbers. The fan favorite “Used To” has already amassed over 12 million streams and the EP includes other recent songs such as “Thru Worse N Thru Better” and “What We Had.

KB Mike has built momentum throughout 2022 with tracks such as “Members” with Yungeen Ace. It followed “Keep Yo Head Up” which continues to gain traction on streaming platforms. Just prior, he dropped the powerful Deserve Better,” which addressed domestic violence head on. Upon arrival, HotNewHipHop claimed, “The nearly three minute track sees the rapper encourage listeners to remove themselves from toxic relationships while spreading awareness about the brutal realities of domestic violence.” Maintaining his momentum, “Deserve Better” arrived on the heels of his latest single and music video “L.O.V.E.” and his breakout anthem “Used To,” which has racked up millions of streams to date. He’s already received looks from ElevatorREVOLT, and many more.

About KB Mike:
A show of emotion equates to a show of strength. KB Mike doesn’t hold back his emotions. In the process, he asserts himself as a strong, soulful, and spirited voice for not only his native Chicago, but the culture at large. He’s endured his fair share of pain and gained wisdom and perspective as a result. Growing up on the city’s notorious Southside, he watched friends and family fall prey to violence and drugs. At the same time, he gained popularity throughout his high school and community. Stuck at home on house arrest, he honed his voice through a series of freestyles online. During 2020, he established himself as a mold-breaking outlier with a combination of smooth swagger and raw emotion. He brought his Spotify stream tally into the millions on the back of Addicted” and initial breakthrough “Deep In Love. He maintained this momentum in 2021 with “Used To.” Perfecting his simmering style with otherworldly melodies and an instantly unshakable hook, it racked up 3.2 million Spotify streams independently as he inked a deal with Republic Records. After piling up over 15 million views and 10 million streams independently and earning acclaim from REVOLTHotNewHipHop, and more, the singer, songwriter, and artist immediately connects by holding nothing back.

Clint Briggs (Ryan Reynolds) turns the tables on his ghostly host until Present finds himself reexamining his own past, present and future. For the first time, ‘A Christmas Carol’ is told from the perspective of the ghosts in this hilarious musical twist on the classic Dickens tale. From director Sean Anders (“Daddy’s Home,” “Instant Family”), written by Sean Anders and John Morris, with original songs by Oscar winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (“La La Land” & “The Greatest Showman”) and production numbers choreographed by Chloe Arnold (“The Late Late Show with James Corden”), this modern retelling is a sweet and spicy holiday treat.

Back with another one of their unique takes on reinventing celebrated anthems, A1 X J1 come correct with a fresh take on Shakira’s “Hips Don’t Lie” in the new single “Don’t Lie.” Featuring the instantly recognizable trumpet flourish and reggaeton rythmn, the track is creatively infused with the boys’ love for rap and R&B, upping the tempo whilst trap slaps filter throughout.

As an alternative to shooting a traditional music video for the new single, the duo took it upon themselves to donate the 30,000 music video budget to the Sidemen Fc Vs Youtube All Stars charity football game, of which the profits go towards a number of charities including Make-A-Wish Foundation. The charity offers support to children who have had their childhoods stolen by a critical illness. They will also support by donating to other mental health services to young people including, Teenage Cancer Trust and Calm (Mental Health Charity). The cameos in the video feature Mr Beast, Chunkz, Filly, Cal The Dragon, Harry Pinero, Ishowspeed, Noah Beck, Deji to name a few!

Whilst the duo have gained remarkable success in the music industry, including three top-five singles, collaborations with the likes of KSI, Mae Muller and Mabel and a 2022 BRIT nomination, more recently they’ve achieved further personal highs. These come in form of featuring in the upcoming Converse campaign, becoming the main artists in the Amazon Music X Fortnight Tournament and securing the support act for N-Dubz upcoming arena tour. It doesn’t end there, the pair are also headlining their first ever EU tour in December and have been nominated for GRM Breakthrough Artist Of The Year.

Speaking about the track and working with rapper Nemzzz on the track, A1 X J1 have said: “Nemzzz is hard and up and coming so we’re really excited to collaborate with him on the new single.”

Speaking about his feature on the track Nemzzz adds: “We always said we would get on a song together so it’s sick that we made it happen now.”

After meeting on the off chance through the Houseparty App in 2020, A1 x J1 have gained unimaginable success at the young age of 16 and 18, not to mention whilst doing so in the unprecedented circumstances of a pandemic, and school. It’s been a whirlwind year for the 16 and 18-year-old, who, in the short time they’ve known each other, have pulled off the impossible.
