Set against the twisted backdrop of DARK WEB, Mary Jane Watson and Felicia Hardy find themselves thrown into one another’s paths and then into the demonic dimension of LIMBO! But something has changed with MJ, and she’s not the only one keeping secrets – Felicia’s got a guilty conscience, and it’s playing havoc with their escape plan!

Madonna celebrates 50 number ones via 360 MAGAZINE

 Last night Madonna celebrated the release of her forthcoming compilation album, FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE: 50 NUMBER ONES – arriving next Friday, August 19 – with a roller disco party at DiscOasis in Central Park, New York. Madonna and Nile Rodgers reunited for the event and spoke to the audience about making Like A Virgin together. Questlove served as DJ for the event, spinning Madonna hits & disco classics all night while guests danced and skated under the stars. 

Guests enjoyed specialty Belvedere Vodka & Perrier cocktails like “THE QUEENS SPRITZ” & “THE MATERIAL GWORLLLLLLLL” named after Madonna’s recent hit remixes with Beyonce & Saucy Santana. Madonna was joined by friends and family, including Ariana Debose, Christian Siriano, Steven Klein, Jeremy O. Harris, and more.

  • On Friday, the MC20 Cielo was unveiled at The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering by Global Chief Executive Officer, Davide Grasso, and Maserati Americas CEO, Bill Peffer, along with Head of Maserati Design, Klaus Busse. The 621 hp convertible was the star of the show, with thousands of fans experiencing the new spyder under the California sky. The Quail display also included the Grecale Trofeo SUV and the MC20 Coupe, there to represent the diversity of Maserati’s vehicle offerings.
  • A short distance away the “House of Maserati” was created to showcase the Maserati lifestyle with VIP client-drive opportunities, trademark Italian hospitality, and moments to enjoy music and fine cuisine, including the chance to experience partner Sonus faber’s audio capabilities throughout the residence. The “House of Maserati” was converted specifically for the Trident Brand to provide a weekend oasis in which aspects of Maserati’s DNA including style, comfort and elegance could be front-and-center.
  • On Sunday, during the main event of the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, the MC20 Cielo took a prominent position on the Concept Lawn, drawing eyes to the clean lines of the open-topped super sports car, which perfectly epitomized the sophisticated yet laid-back California lifestyle that Monterey Car Week has become known to represent throughout the world.

SPOTLIGHT: MUGZY MCFLY

New York designer and entrepreneur Jevaughn Williams, known as Mugzy McFly, is the co-founder and director of Signed By McFly.

McFly has made the Bronx his inspiration. Last June, he was interviewed by us and told us about his passion for fashion and explained what kind of design he creates for his clothing brand. Signed by McFly was created in 2013 with a single graphic t-shirt and has since increased into an extensive range of clothing pieces and accessories including joggers, sneakers, goggles and even cargo pants.

McFly confirms that this summer he has been able to see the trends that he had predicted at the beginning of summer in the streets of the Big Apple, “Quality, comfort and sustainable styles have been incorporated in bright and earth tones combined with eclectic sneakers. Instead, for the winter season he will incorporate designs with slightly more strange colors: mint. In addition, he wants to combine these colors in garments such as hoodies, for example he is very aware of the typical and traditional black hoodie, although he does not rule out adding more vivid colors such as yellow, pink, or purple. He foresees that the chosen material will be cotton again and something that he has in common with summer clothes is comfort. Even one of the star designs of his brand will be the bubble jackets not only for men but also for women. We can’t forget about footwear, a pedestrian accessory of Signed By McFly’s main clothing. This time it is a more functional shoe with a sporty touch. He is a basketball fan and would like to create ”those basketball player feet for next year”. For inspiration “I plan to go to the Flyers basketball tournament, which is completely decked out in my stuff.”

Accessories is one of the options that he is designing for this year. The theme: back to school. Own designs such as composition notebooks. In addition, the fanny packs are going to become a design and trend in his brand, for this he wants to design a classic PVP logo or an embroidered logo. Finally, hats will continue to be designed but this time with different textures than the previous ones.

Now, the designer is working on more graphic and higher quality clothes, ”I want to go back to looking for more graphics on things”, so he wouldn’t mind spending more money so he can design clothes that are better quality and different from what that people normally see.

Their designs are unisex with flattering silhouettes and elegant use of orange details. The style construction leans towards high-end clothing and high street.

Mugzy’s 2022 summer and winter collection are inspired by the slow and calmness of the previous years, aptly defined as “comfy elevated” with neutral earth tones and calm prints.

ROBOT DIGIT LEARNS PAINTING

Robots have been given the gift of human creativity. 

Artist Agnieszka Pilat is currently out West at the headquarters of Agility Robotics, where she has made a new friend with the humanoid robot DIGIT, and started a series of paintings with him that will be included in her upcoming show, ROBOTa. 

“This is the era of the new, intelligent machine,” says Agnieszka. “The works created by DIGIT are full of mistakes. This innocence in mark-making gives them a sense of spontaneity, like children playing with crayons.”

Agnieszka is no stranger to painting with robots. She has worked closely with Boston Dynamics‘ SPOTselling one piece created by the robot canine for $40,000 during a fundraiser to benefit Ukrainian refugees. The pieces with DIGIT and SPOT will be featured in Agnieszka‘s upcoming fall show at the gallery Modernism in San Francisco. 

Agnieszka’s Talking Points: 

  • This is the era of the new, intelligent machine. This is not a printer – an enhancement of a human hand, or a camera lens – an amplified human eye. The new machine is close to man’s nature – interested in the sublime, the essence of what it means to be human. It’s slow and curious and playful. Unlike clean, perfect classical machine esthetics, new machine esthetics are fraud with errors and imperfections.
  • If a human is the ideal – then robots strive to imitate their human creators. We are the parents to the machine – and intelligent machines like proper children believe in their naivete, that they can someday surpass their creators.
  • The new machine is close to man’s nature – interested in the sublime, the essence of what it means to be human. It’s slow and curious and playful. Unlike clean, perfect classical machine esthetics, new machine esthetics are fraud with errors and imperfections.

Agnieszka Pilat Bio: 

Polish born artist, Agnieszka Pilat studied painting and illustration at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, CA. She is an award-winning artist and her works can be found in public and private collections in the United States, Poland, and Canada. Pilat currently lives and maintains a full time studio in San Francisco and is represented by numerous galleries throughout the United States and has exhibited at the Carnegie Museum of Art.

NURKO – ETERNITY

On August 19, 2022, New York producer NURKO returns with soaring new single Eternity” featuring Dayce Williams, out via Astralwerks. Listen to the dreamy floor-filler HERE. The single is NURKO‘s first release since signing to the boundary-pushing electronic music label.

The wistful track finds vocalist Williams desperately attempting to salvage a relationship. “Tell me what you mean, I’m in the in-between,” he sings. “Isn’t it obvious that I wanna do you right?” Meanwhile, NURKO‘s production is slow-burning, growing from stripped-back, angelic string plucks into a whirlwind build and cascading drop. It’s an explosive backdrop to match the chorus’ impassioned refrain: “I’m praying for eternity.” Dreamy yet hard-hitting, “Eternity” proves that NURKO is already a master of emotionally rich electronic music.

The track follows the release of Arrival Remixes, a collection of artist remixes stemming from NURKO‘s debut EP Arrival, released back in March. The original EP-which includes singles “Disappearing Now” featuring Chandler Leighton and “Lost Without You” with Crystal Skies and KnownAsNat-earned rave reviews from the dance world, with EDM Identity calling it a “heart-fluttering masterpiece.”

NURKO broke through in 2021 with the biggest song of his career so far, “Sideways.” The collaboration with ILLENIUM and Valerie Broussard has already logged over 30 million Spotify streams. Fans can experience NURKO‘s cathartic tracks in person as he continues his cross-country U.S. travels.
