Audio Up Media has gathered an all-star line up of the music industry’s hottest and most relevant artists for a first of its kind, genre-busting horror/musical podcast. HALLOWEEN IN HELL is a four-part epic holiday podcast. Also, it features multi-platinum Interscope Records recording artist, actor and pop culture icon, Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker). As well as, acclaimed musician and performance artist Dana Dentata, multi-platinum 10K Projects recording artist and fashion icon iann dior, and recent 2020 XXL Freshman class recipient and multi-platinum RECORDS/Columbia Records’ recording artist 24kGoldn (at time of press 24kGoldn and dior hold the #26 slot on Billboard Hot 100).
ABOUT HALLOWEEN IN HELL
Jared Gutstadt, CEO of Audio Up, and Machine Gun Kelly, created this podcast. It is a new take and homage to music horror hits like “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” meets the dark comedy of “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” It premiers October 10th via all podcast platforms. In addition, the series accompanies a four-part making-of documentary, as bonus content.
Written by Jimmy Jellinek (Webby nominated writer of the smash hit podcast, “Bear and a Banjo”) and created by Gutstadt (who has penned songs with and produced music for the likes of Bob Dylan, Lil Wayne, DJ Khaled, Timbaland and countless others), the horror/comedy/musical podcast is set during Halloween. 24kGoldn and metal mistress, Dana Dentata, find themselves trapped on a soundstage reminiscent of Hell. Also, there is a sadistic host who has lured them into a competition. It’s there they must impress a jury of the damned (R.Kelly & Phil Spector) and rescue themselves from the clutches of evil. With each of the cast playing fictional versions of themselves, these performers go on a journey to hell and back. Also, there is an original soundtrack that features new music from 24kGoldn, Dana Dentata, iann dior, and Machine Gun Kelly. Further release details are forthcoming.
