Against the backdrop of a picturesque farm, the visual finds AP Dhillon in a state of post-breakup reflection. Tending to a horse, he gazes at the sky while memories prove overwhelming. Under the camera’s close watch, he delivers heartbroken verses accompanied by a string quartet in a nearby river and a pianist in the middle of a field. He burns flowers in effigy to this romance as the flames of a campfire eventually consume the piano and the past.
Thus far, he has immersed listeners in the world of The Brownprint by sharing a string of evocative visuals. Recently, he served up the music video for “Bora Bora” featuring Ayra Starr. The latter has already amassed millions of streams. Simultaneously, “Bora Bora” landed plugs from Rolling Stone India and The Statesman who praised the duo’s “infectious chemistry” and dubbed the video as “a must-watch for music fans worldwide.”
It notably followed the video for ”After Midnight,” which has also accumulated millions of views in addition to earning major looks.
However, he shows no signs of stopping or slowing down either.
The Brownprint has only magnified AP Dhillon’s imprint on the culture. It has already tallied tens of millions of streams. Beyond plugs from Music Business Worldwide, Rolling Stone India, and more, Billboard hailed him as a “Punjabi superstar,” and uDiscoverMusic praised, “This collection of songs serves as a stellar introduction to Dhillon’s skill set at the dawn of his career’s next era.”
He initially teased The Brownprint with “Old Money.” The latter has already amassed 20 million worldwide streams and counting. Additionally, Billboard broke the news of his signing.
