Allan Rayman

Today, Toronto-based singer/songwriter Allan Rayman releases his new single and video for “Stitch” via Republic Records/KIDinaKORNER. The video features Canadian designer Daniel Gregory Nataleand shows Allan following Daniel as he brings his designs to life with a full runway show.

“Stitch” was produced by GRAMMY Award winning producer Alex da Kid and mixed by GRAMMY Award winning mixer Manny Marroquin, and the video was directed by Steph Verschuren. “Stitch” is the lead single off Rayman’s upcoming album, CHRISTIAN, to be released later this year.
 
Of the song, Allan Rayman says, “‘Stitch’” was one of the first songs I made with Alex. It’s fun. For the video, I wanted to follow my friend Dan around New York, see his day to day as an up and coming fashion designer.”
 
“Stitch” follows Allan’s recent single “Poison,” which was released in anticipation for his current headline tour that concludes tonight at San Francisco’s August Hall. The tour dubbed The Allan Rayman Show has seen Rayman across 22 major cities in North America and included recent performances at Brooklyn’s Warsaw and Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom.
 
Reviews from The Allan Rayman Show have been outstanding with Substream Magazine noting, “For (Allan Rayman), there’s a real authenticity in pulling back the curtain and leading with his art,” and Early Bird Magazine naming him an “enormously enigmatic artist (that) filled his set with drama and theatrics as he created an atmosphere of tension and release throughout the night.”
 
“Stitch” and “Poison” are the follow ups to Allan’s critically acclaimed album Harry Hard-On released late last year via Republic Records/KIDindaKorner. “Rose,” the album’s debut single, climbed the alternative radio charts and has nearly three million Spotify streams to date. Harry Hard-On has also been met with critical praise, with TIME Magazine heralding the track “Crush,” saying,“Rayman’s voice contains multitudes: a rough ache, a smooth hum, a rock star’s confidence.” 
 
About Allan Rayman:
Allan Rayman is a singer/songwriter. He is a young man. He has released four projects – Hotel Allan, Roadhouse 01, Courtney, and most recently Harry Hard-On, which have given him somewhat of a cult following. The young man has played sold-out headline tours in the United States and Canada and has made a name for himself at major festivals including Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Ohana, Austin City Limits and Osheaga. Allan will play more festivals one day. Allan has seen success internationally with several European tours under his belt as well. Allan has spent time in Alaska. Not much is known about the young man.
