CV ArtFest Announces Live Music, Live Painters, Sponsors, and Endorsements for Second Annual All-Day All-Ages Event on Saturday, August 10

Exhibition Artists, Vendors, Food Trucks, and More to Be Announced Soon

WHAT:

CV ArtFest has announced an initial roster of live music, live painters, sponsors, and endorsements for the second annual family- and dog-friendly day-long event:

Live Music: DJ A-One (@thedjaone), Perla Negra, Bruno & The Hooligans (@brunotribute), and Shwayze (@shwayze).
Live Painters: Signe Ditona (@signemontefalcon or @groundfloormurals), Kyle Garrity (@kurrrents), Iz Inocencio (@junglevillagechief), Leslye Villaseñor (@lvillasenorart), Shirish Villaseñor (@shirishtheartist), and Iris Wise (@iristhewise).
Sponsors: Seven Mile Casino (@sevenmilecasino) and Stein’s Hollow Art Gallery (@steinshollowgallery).
Endorsements: The Old Globe (@theoldglobe), CA for the Arts (@caforthearts), San Diego Art Directory (@sandiegoartdirectory), and San Diego Art Matters (@sdartmatters).

The City of Chula Vista anticipates more than 60 vendors at the arts and crafts market and 70 artists at the art showcase, including local painters, sketch artists, cartoonists, photographers, ceramicists, muralists, and other 2D and 3D artists. CV ArtFest is presented by the City of Chula Vista and Soundskilz. The City of Chula Vista encourages and supports its diverse artists and is committed to celebrating and leveraging the arts. Cultural arts in Chula Vista are the culmination of local heritage, artistic talent, creative activities, and opportunities that develop social cohesion and a positive environment. The city recognizes that innovation, exploration, and expression are integral to a building a vibrant community. Chula Vista uplifts its arts and artists through events that enrich and transform our community.

Market and Showcase from 12:00 to 6 p.m.
DJ A-One from 12:00 to 1:20 p.m.
Perla Negra from 1:20 to 2:20 p.m.
Bruno & The Hooligans from 3:00 to 4:10 p.m.
Shwayze from 4:45 to 6:00 p.m.

Public parking is available at Chula Vista City Hall through the entrance on F street. Additional public parking can be accessed through Davidson Street.
