Continuing Oakley’s legacy of innovation, today, the brand releases a revolutionary surf helmet made to enhance the sport’s future. WTR Icon is engineered to take on even the heaviest waves and was designed to help alleviate the sensory concerns that surfers face while riding in a helmet.
WTR Icon weighs in under 365g, making it one of the lightest surfing helmets on the market. The helmet integrates Oakley’s innovative technology, fusing design and research with athlete insights. With WTR Icon, surfers can challenge the waves with increased protection and an overall less inhibited experience, allowing them to take their performance to new levels.
The best-in-class WTR Icon surfing helmet boasts a 4-star rating from Virginia Tech’s Helmet Lab, and features EN-1385 white water certification and D3O® impact protection technology. Made from strong Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS), the helmet is designed to absorb impact, disperse energy, and reduce blunt force trauma. Its unique shell design prevents disorientation and drag in the water. With open ventilation, surfers can easily maneuver through and under water even while duck diving, allowing for immediate drainage upon reaching the surface. The helmet includes adjustable and removable ear protection to maintain hearing, prevent cuts, and protect against eardrum blowouts.
WTR Icon made its debut at the 2024 Lexus Pipe Pro at Pipeline on the North Shore of Oahu, where Team Oakley surfer Caity Simmers took the legendary surf spot by storm, delivering one of the best performances ever by a woman at the Banzai Pipeline.
Starting November 2024, WTR ICON will be available for purchase in limited quantities on Oakley.com worldwide with wider availability in early 2025.

A.P.C. – the Parisian fashion brand celebrated throughout the world for its minimal yet elevated designs – today releases Interaction #25: Tame Impala, available online and in stores now.
The release of the collection was accompanied by a short film / anthem entitled “A Peoples Centre for Transformational Insights.”
For the latest in A.P.C.’s ongoing series of collaborations – spanning such diverse brands as Lacoste, Sacai and JJJJound, and icons both classic and modern, from Catherine Deneuve and Jane Birken to Katie Holmes and Kid Cudi – Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker explores “psychedelic minimalism” in a tightly-curated collection perfectly in line with Tame Impala’s technicolor sonic world.
“When my daughter introduced me to Tame Impala,” remembers A.P.C. founder Jean Touitou, “it struck me as a synthesis of everything I’ve liked since the 1960s, from Soft Machine to Pink Floyd. I immediately loved their musical singularity and their deceptively casual style.”
A.P.C. x Tame Impala explores Kevin Parker’s bold, maximalist creative vision through the lens of A.P.C.’s considered, minimalist design language. A meticulous attention to detail and a fascination with the analog inspiring the modern provides connective tissue to both worlds; just as Kevin Parker’s music and live shows build an immersive sonic world, the collection offers an aesthetic, wearable accompaniment to the sound of Tame Impala.
Kevin’s personal, playful references for the capsule – the post-hippie communes and intentional-living communities of 70’s Australia, as well as his own meditation practice – inform loose, flowing silhouettes and muted, earthy, pastel tones. Sustainably sourced to Kevin’s specifications in heavyweight jersey, fleece and denim, these pieces can be worn tone-on-tone or mixed and matched, their pastel yellow, pink and charcoal grey hues obtained using environmentally-safe mineral dyes.
Tame Impala’s unique brand of psychedelia is translated into electric, multicolored alpaca sweaters and striped cotton corduroy trousers, accentuated by moody accessories like logo-branded bucket hats, shades and a shoulder bag in pale pink, faded rose and charcoal gray dyed denim. The meditation theme reverberates with the Tame Impala song title “breathe deeper” screen-printed on a white cotton T-shirt.
All pieces in the collection are unisex, available in sizes XXS to XXL.
Finally, a sweatshirt and jogging pants in a cream padded jersey envelop the body in a cloud-like sensation, while a jacket in a dark navy blue jersey with wave-like quilting adds a poetic feel to the indispensable painter jacket.
2024 Toyota Tundra Pro i-force Max Twin-Turbo V6 Hybrid is a life-size Tonka Truck for a small business owner with a modern family in tow. Fully loaded and well-equipped at a price point of $72,730, it’s a bang for your buck.
Outside the cabin, it’s one of the most attractive animals on the road that’s ready to kill the asphalt. 18-in BBS forged wheels, skid plates, auto-leveling LED headlamps + LED DRLs, aluminum composite bed, TOYOTA grille along with light bar, it’s a tenacious toy that literally smiles back at you. Terra/Black skin gracefully glistens on any terrain and under any conditions. It’s the perfect palette to reduce visible grime and dirt with grit.
Inside the cockpit, the truck is an automation oasis. 14-inch infotainment touchscreen, as big as most tablets, with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Toyota multimedia with a 3-month SiriusXM radio trial. You’ll enjoy every second of channel 42 as it pushes out high fidelity sound. The premium JBL audio system boasts a 12-speaker system with subwoofer as well as am amplifier. And, baby got back! With loads of legroom, USB ports, 120V/400W outlet, and ample seating for five. To make the interior feel even more spacious are the small A-pillars, massive power moonroof, which tilts and opens, and the power rear window. The FR-passenger seat comes with 8-way power control seats. Super comfortable for a road trip to Vegas or simply picking the kids up from soccer practice. With all windows flush, it feels like a safari at Krugersdorp Game Reserve in South Africa. Our baby model in the back, Swedish/Blatino West Sovinsky, had the time of his life while safely strapped in his car seat.
This vehicle is clearly in a class of its own with Toyota Safety Sense 2.5+. It’s virtually impossible to scrape the wheels at an El Pollo Loco, run over a wild coyote, or even feel out of control with adaptive steering and braking. It’s a true truck that you can track on tarmac, off-road at the Santa Monica Mountains or pimp and play at the Peninsula Hotel in Beverly Hills. It’s the most baffling beast wherever you take it–regardless of all heads that will turn. The Hybrid Twin-Turbo V6 power plant is seamless, and you hear the car whine as it continues on the gas transmission. The only beat that will skip is your heart as it’s the most handsome stock on steroids. No other truck has a much swag as this one yet crawls almost like a Jeep Wrangler on 4WD on low. It’s can do things a Trackhawk dreams of doing due to ride height. Yes, it’s guzzles down a pint like a crowd at gay pride, but it’s no cissy. In fact, the exhaust notes sing like Whitney.
‘There’s a reason why Toyota was one of the first cars I leased straight out of college because it holds it value, looks good in any lipstick, and is dependable.’ — says Lowery.
If you’re not excited about its city slicker demeanor, it will break your back on any mountain with its agility, ability to tow and carry cargo like it’s non existing competitors. All you need to do is purchase this vehicle as is and press the start button, and you’ll be catapulted into a universe of respect within the realm of car culture. It was an outer body experience to lay eyes on it in Hawaii with hibiscus flowers all around and an even more therapeutic environment to indulge in the beautiful California State with the wind combing through my curls.
It’s another win for Toyota reintroducing this vehicle, possessing a powerful hybrid V6 powertrain instead of a clunky V8. 360 is sure Jay Leno has one, and if not soon, he will have one in his garage. Praises to the design team for paying attention to the details: camo tech black leatherette seats and wheel fenders. But the icing on the cake is signature TOYOTA 3D insignia on the dash. The entire vehicle is best described as YUMMY.

Today, GRAMMY® Award-nominated singer, songwriter, actor, producer, and global superstar Joe Jonas reveals he will release his new full-length solo album Music For People Who Believe In Love on October 18th via Republic Records. Pre-order / Pre-save the album now HERE. He sets the stage for the record’s highly anticipated arrival with the release of his brand new single “Work It Out” this Friday, July 19th.
I am thrilled to share my new solo album with you – Music For People Who Believe In Love. This album is a celebration of gratitude, hope, and love. These songs reflect on my life from a bird’s-eye view acknowledging the many blessings around me.
When we take a moment to breathe, pause, and reflect on the positives, my hope is that we can find acceptance and ultimately peace in the present moment. It’s okay to cry and mourn a loss – it’s part of the process to take care of ourselves and eventually enables us to be there for the people we care about.
This album speaks to the experiences of being a father, being a friend to oneself and others, and the happiness I’ve found in doing what I love for a living. I feel incredibly fortunate to travel the world and connect with people through my music, as well as having had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented musicians, songwriters, and producers on this project.
A director I once worked with had a handwritten note above his camera during filming that asked, “What do you want them to feel?”. This question still resonates with me every time I step on stage or create new music. The ability to perform, connect deeply with an audience, and evoke positive emotions, or even healing, is a gift I cherish.
This album is a reflection and celebration of life. I hope it brings you as much joy as it brought me creating it. Please enjoy!

AIN’T DONE BAD is a hybrid theatrical dance experience conceived, directed, and choreographed by Jakob Karr (“So You Think You Can Dance”), featuring the music of country star Orville Peck. The show will play a limited engagement at The Pershing Square Signature Center (480 W. 42nd Street) with previews beginning July 9, opening July 14, and running through September 1st.
AIN’T DONE BAD tells the powerful heartwarming story of coming out, falling in love, and finding one’s true voice as a queer person in the South. Told entirely through contemporary dance without a single spoken word, the 90-minute performance stars Jakob Karr along with ten leading dancers.
Karr is joined onstage by Adrian Lee (Wicked) as the Father, Megumi Iwama (“Mean Girls” the movie) as the Mother, Ian Spring (Parsons Dance) as the Brother, Luke Qualls (The Radio City Christmas Spectacular) as Jakob Karr’s alternate, Yusaku Komori (“The Greatest Showman”) and Jordan Lombardi (Phantom Of The Opera Nat’l Tour) as the Friends, and Joshua Escover (“Empire Strips Back”) as the Lover. Swings include Caden Hunter (Juilliard) and Madison O’Connor (Radio City Rockettes), who also acts as Dance Captain.
AIN’T DONE BAD comes to The Irene Diamond Stage at The Pershing Square Signature Center after critically-acclaimed workshops in Orlando at Renaissance Theatre Company and in North Carolina at Durham’s PSI Theatre, Greensboro PAC, and the Wortham Center for Performing Arts in 2023. The production premiered in 2021 at the Orlando International Fringe Festival, where it received the festival’s highest honor (Best Show). Karr is joined by Scenic Designers Philip Lupo, Joey Coombs, and Blake Schulte, with Lighting Design by Philip Lupo. Morgan Lemos is the Stage Manager and additional creatives include Grace Buckley (Associate Choreographer) and Joi Marchetti (Additional Music Production). Evan Bernardin Productions is the general manager, Eli Owens in the production assistant, and digital advertising is by SINE Digital.
Jakob Karr began dancing at the age of 12 and has performed all over the country as well as most of Europe, Australia, Japan, and India. His credits include CATS on Broadway (Mistoffelees Understudy); Cirque Du Soleil’s VOLTA; “So You Think You Can Dance” Season 6 – Runner Up; The Radio City New York Spectacular (Mia Michaels); Flashdance The Musical 1st Nat’l Tour; Rock the Ballet; Viva Elvis by Cirque Du Soleil; Kiss Me Kate at Barrington Stage; Working at New York City Center ENCORES; English With An Accent at Lincoln Center, “The 82nd Annual Academy Awards”; “America’s Got Talent;” “GLEE” (FOX); “Westworld” (HBO); and Company XIV.
“When I first listened to Orville Pecks’s album Pony in 2019, I immediately felt that a story had to be woven through his songs…the theatricality of his voice and lyrics spoke to me so clearly,” said Jakob Karr. “As a fellow queer artist, I feel it’s important that we tell stories that uplift and honor our community. His music is a gorgeous example of finding triumph in pain and sharing your best self with those who will listen. With dance as my first language, this is the best way I can tell this story. AIN’T DONE BAD is my love letter to anyone who has ever struggled with their identity, and it is a thank you note to everyone who helped me find my voice.”
“Dance was the essential element that first drew us together as producing partners,” said producers Patti Maurer and Donald Rupe. “Jakob is able to blend the genres of contemporary dance and theater in a way we’ve never seen before; this show isn’t just a dance piece and it isn’t just a theatrical piece; AIN’T DONE BAD is truly the best of both worlds. We are thrilled to share this exciting work of art with the New York theater audiences, the LGBTQ+ community, and multitudes of dancers and dance and theater-lovers in the city this summer.”
AIN’T DONE BAD plays Tuesday – Friday at 7:30 PM, Saturday at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM and Sunday at 7:30PM (for the week of July 9-14) and beginning July 16, the schedule is: Tuesday at 7:30 PM, Wednesday at 2:00 PM and 7:30PM, Thursday – Friday at 7:30PM, Saturday at 2:00 PM and 8:00PM, and Sunday at 7:30PM.
