2025 TOYOTA CAMRY

Toyota has completely redefined its flagship for 2025, and it’s magnificently majestic. Regaining its crown as king, this seductive sedan possesses additional cargo space, legroom as well as intuition than previous models.’– 360

Toyota Unveils the Powerful and Purely Hybrid Next Generation Camry

  • Redesigned Stylish New Look and High-Tech Interior
  • Exclusively Equipped with 5th Generation Toyota Hybrid System available in FWD and AWD
  • Powerful Hybrid System with Up-to 232 Net-Combined Horsepower on AWD Model – 30HP Increase Over Prior Mechanical AWD Model
  • Re-Engineered Suspension and Braking System for Balanced Handling and Comfort
  • Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert and Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 Standard
  • Development and Manufacturing led by U.S.

Building upon greatness, the Toyota Camry enters its ninth generation with a fresh new look, enhanced performance, and a Hybrid powertrain that’s made to move. Designed and assembled in the U.S., the new Camry masterfully amplifies everything drivers love about the current best-selling sedan in the U.S., with more power, striking good looks, feature packed convenience, and capable handling. And now, as a part of Toyota’s effort to provide electrification for all, the 2025 Toyota Camry will be an exclusively Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV), offering a combination of power and fuel efficiency that is ready to take on the daily drive.

Powering the Camry is Toyota’s first-ever sedan pairing of its 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine and fifth-generation Toyota Hybrid System (THS 5). Combining the engine’s power with two electric motors, this dynamic new HEV has a standard 225 net combined horsepower on Front Wheel Drive (FWD) models and 232HP on Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) equipped models. Toyota engineers have also tuned the new HEV system at lower speeds to reduce engine RPMs and increase power from the traction battery to provide satisfying acceleration and torque feel. The Toyota Camry will also adopt the “Beyond Zero” badge to signal Toyota’s strong commitment to reducing carbon emissions and its vision for a carbon-neutral future.

For the first time ever on a Camry Hybrid, Toyota’s Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system will be available on all grades. For added peace of mind, the AWD system provides additional traction when needed, like during inclement weather or while cornering. The AWD system’s capability comes from a dedicated rear electric drive motor generator that automatically supplies power to the rear wheels when needed.

The 2025 Toyota Camry is expected to arrive at Toyota Dealerships in the Spring of 2024.

Sleek New Generation

The ninth generation Camry, designed by CALTY’s Newport Beach, California and Ann Arbor, Michigan studios, delivers a sleeker, athletic look to the popular sedan’s design. The distinctive hammerhead front fascia adds a fresh clean look that is sure to turn heads. All grades will feature slim LED headlights, daytime running lights and taillights.

The SE and XSE grades have sporty exterior styling with a sleek roofline and a chiseled body. The sport grades feature racing-inspired functional aerodynamic air ducts, front-side canards and a rear diffuser. The rear also has an exposed dual-tip exhaust as well as a rear lip spoiler. The XSE will further the sporty style with a unique color matched front grille and black trunk garnish. With standard 18-inch multi-spoke black-finished alloy wheels on SE grades and standard 19-inch multi-spoke black and smoke gray-finished alloy wheels on the XSE, these models will be a sure stand-out amongst its peers.

Exterior color options include newly available Ocean Gem and Heavy Metal that will join Camry favorites like Ice Cap, Wind Chill Pearl, Celestial Silver Metallic, Underground, Midnight Black Metallic, Supersonic Red, and Reservoir Blue. The XSE grades add an available two-tone look with Ocean Gem, Wind Chill Pearl, Heavy Metal and Supersonic Red paired with a Midnight Black Metallic roof.

Open-Style Cockpit

Merging with the impeccable craftsmanship of Camry, the modern open-concept and refined materials offer a unique experience to the interior design of each grade.

Beginning with the sport grades, the SE comes with SofTex®-trimmed seats featuring sporty bold white accents in either Boulder or Black while the XSE adds a standard leather-trimmed interior with artistic “shooting blade” patterned perforations found on both the side door trim and seating surfaces. The XSE interior is available in two colors: Black with blue lined perforations or the fan-favorite Cockpit Red. Both the SE and XSE grades come equipped with standard aluminum sport pedals and a leather-wrapped steering wheel with paddle shifters.

The comfort grades also showcase their own interior personality and style. The LE will feature an expertly designed interior inspired by ocean waves with an embossed pattern in woven fabric found on the interior trim and seat surfaces in Boulder or Black. The higher-end XLE grade is the first Toyota Camry to feature leather and Dinamica® microfiber-trimmed seats offered in Light Gray or Black. A quilted pattern in this material can also be found on the front door panels and dashboard.

The Camry will also have enhanced seat comfortability. Toyota engineers achieved this by changing the shape and density of the seat cushion and by increasing the cushion length. The headrest was also softened and moved rearward to enhance seat and ride comfort. That comfort can be extended on the XLE and XSE grades with available front heated and ventilated seats that can be adjusted to three levels. These higher-end grades will also have a quieter cabin thanks to the standard front-side acoustic laminated glass to help reduce wind noise and harshness.

Toyota Camry also sets the standard for convenience. The next generation model comes with a standard smart-key with push-to-start and a dual-zone automatic climate control system with rear air vents. For those who may have multiple drivers in the household, the XLE grade offers an available driver’s memory seat and memory side view mirrors.  For added convenience, the XLE has available automatic rain-sensing windshield wipers. And, for the first time on a Camry Hybrid, the XLE and XSE grades will have the option of adding a power tilt and slide panoramic roof with a power-retractable sunshade.

With a nod to the past and an eye toward the future, Toyota announced today the North American debut of the first-ever Toyota Crown Signia. As the second entry in the U.S. Toyota Crown lineup, the 2025 Crown Signia also marks the nameplate’s entry into the SUV category. For almost 70 years of Toyota history, the Toyota Crown name has become synonymous with quality and sophistication among Toyota vehicles. In 2024, the Crown Signia will add a new dimension to the ongoing legend, bringing North American customers an elevated ride and premium quality in a stylish crossover package.

“The Toyota Crown Signia takes all of the exceptional attributes of the Toyota Crown name and shapes them into a functional, sophisticated package that customers will adore,” said TMNA Group Vice President, David Christ at the product debut. “It’s the first-ever entry into the crossover SUV category for Toyota’s longest-running nameplate and it showcases how we continue to elevate our designs, deliver premium quality, and take Hybrid efficiency in versatile new directions.”

Exclusively equipped with the Toyota Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) powertrain with On-Demand All Wheel Drive (AWD) standard, the Crown Signia will be available in XLE and Limited grades and brings refined style and impeccable comfort in a package that’s sure to turn heads. Its sleek cabin offers upscale comfort with available textured leather-trimmed seating, elegant finishing touches like bronze-finished trim and color-matched, soft touch panels on the doors and dashboard, and a center console with vertical wireless charger and storage. A large full-color driver’s display and floating 12.3-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen give it high tech vibe that feels like a mobile command center.

The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia will come with the Toyota HEV system, standard. Powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine with two electric motor generators, this proven tech seamlessly delivers 243 combined system net horsepower and has a preliminary manufacturer-estimated 36 combined MPG rating. Toyota’s Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive also comes standard, a highly efficient system has a dedicated rear electric motor to deliver extra traction when needed and is capable of towing up to 2,700 pounds.

The Crown Signia’s performance vibe comes from a combination of its wide stance, available 21-inch wheels, and Toyota Hammerhead front end, which consists of a signature DRL and compact headlight unit and geometric lower grille. Its flowing roofline and sleek cabin give it a dramatic shape that’s stylish and functional, as it houses a comfortable cabin with a roomy second row seating that folds flat to reveal a 6.5-foot-long cargo area. Five fashion forward colors will also be available, with Storm Cloud, Finish Line Red, Oxygen White, Black, and Bronze Age. Seating in a choice of Saddle Tan or Black will be available on both grades.

With the Crown Signia’s debut, Toyota will soon have 19 electrified models available for sale in its U.S. model lineup. As part of Toyota’s diverse approach to its carbon neutrality goals, the Toyota Crown Signia also plays a part in Toyota’s “Beyond Zero” vision to reach carbon neutrality with products, services, and operations; and find new ways to make a positive impact on the planet and society.

The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia is expected to arrive at Toyota Dealerships in the Summer of 2024.

First Class Comfort

The Crown Signia adds a second Toyota Crown model in the US. In 2023, the Toyota Crown sedan brought the nameplate back to the U.S. after a 51-year hiatus. Globally, the Toyota Crown has been on sale since 1955 and has long set a standard for innovation and engineering quality for Toyota. It was also the first Japanese car to hit American shores back in 1958.

The Toyota Crown Signia brings the celebrated nameplate into the crossover SUV category for the first time in its history. With a name based on the term “insignia”, the Crown Signia is a nod to the model’s importance over the years, with this first-ever model standing as an expressive mark of the innovation, creativity, and achievements of the lineup as it drives forward into a bold new era.

The Toyota Crown Signia is assembled at the Tsutsumi Plant in Aichi Japan and uses the Toyota New Global Architecture K (TNGA-K) platform that also underpins the Crown sedan. As such, Crown Signia delivers the best of both worlds: sedan-like driving comfort and SUV versatility. Thanks to its crossover design, the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia offers ample room for five in a highly maneuverable package that rides on 21-inch dark gray metallic colored alloy wheels on the Limited and black-accented 19-inch multi-spoke machine finished two tone alloy wheels on the XLE.

The TNGA-K platform helps prevent noise intrusion into the cabin, curbing vibration through the steering, floor, and body structure. Toyota engineers also spent countless hours studying and engineering reductions in noise, vibration, and harshness for the Crown Signia. Noise minimizing materials include acoustic glass on front side windows, a dash silencer, and an engine cover made of acoustic absorbing materials.

Crown Signia’s seats are comfortable and stylish with moderate bolsters that cradle the front seat passengers and a lounge-like design for the rear seats. On the Limited grade, smooth, high-quality leather-trimmed seats with double stitching, quilting, and fillet piping that flows up to the headrest provide a lux look. The XLE’s combination of fabric and SofTex®-trimmed seats create a modern feel.

Crown Signia comes with standard 8-way driver and 8-way passenger power seats. The power driver’s seat on the Limited grade features an auto slide-away with memory function. The Crown Signia’s available heated and ventilated front seats can be adjusted to three levels for added comfort. Bronze-finished trim on the dash, console, and steering wheel on all grades draws focus to functional elements, like HVAC, drive mode select button, and audio controls, so they can be easily located.

An available fixed glass Panoramic Roof with retractable shade on the Limited grade provides a light, airy feel to the interior. Up front, the center console allows for easy connection to personal devices, with a vertical wireless charger and three USB-C ports. The cup holder is designed with everyday functionality in mind, with a recessed design to help prevent drinks from spilling over to the shifter side. There is also a partition in the middle of the cup holder, maximizing its utility to fit long items like phones, tablets, and wallets.

In the rear, passengers will enjoy the comfort and convenience of dedicated air vents, two cup holders, a rear bottle holder, seatback pockets, and two USB Type-C ports standard. Cargo space is abundant on Crown Signia with a rear deck that’s made for an active lifestyle, including a tonneau cover and aluminum scuff plate.

Customers who need more room to accommodate outdoor equipment or luggage will appreciate 60/40 second-row fold-flat seats with an extension panel, which provides a cargo space that is six-and-a-half feet long. The rear power liftgate allows for hands-free operation, and for convenience the rear seat release can be accessed from rear liftgate opening.

Hybrid and All Wheel Drive Across the Board

The Toyota lineup continues to expand its HEV offerings with the addition of the Crown Signia. As such, it’s classified as a Super Ultra Low Emission Vehicle (SULEV) for passenger vehicle emissions. It uses an Electronically Controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT) for optimal fuel economy.

As with all Toyota hybrids, the feeling of everyday acceleration and responsiveness is heightened by the way the electric motor boosts low-speed torque. Selectable NORMAL, ECO and SPORT driving modes let the driver tailor the Crown Signia’s performance personality.

SPORT mode improves and sharpens throttle response. ECO mode changes the throttle and environmental logic to help the driver focus on maximizing mileage from the fuel and battery, while NORMAL mode is ideal for everyday driving. Additionally, EV mode allows electric-only driving at low speeds for short distances.

Its Electronic On-Demand AWD employs a separate rear-mounted electric motor to power the rear wheels when needed. It works seamlessly and transparently, preemptively distributing up to 80 percent of driving force to the rear wheels which helps suppress front wheel slip during off-the-line starts. The system also enhances cornering agility by helping to reduce understeer. Torque distribution varies with conditions, from 100:0 in constant-speed driving to 20:80 on slippery surfaces. Torque distribution can be indicated on the Multi-information Display and audio system screen.

Cutting Edge Tech with Toyota Audio Multimedia

The 2025 Toyota Crown Signia comes with a 12.3-inch color Multi Information Display (MID) and 12.3-inch touchscreen with the latest Toyota Audio Multimedia system, standard. The MID provides a layout that is easily customized based on user preferences and provides drivers with information that fits their driving situation. Large, colorful digital “dials” are easy to read and can display a combination of information, with options like a tachometer for the performance minded driver or eco drive mode monitor for the hyper miler seeking maximum MPG.

The Toyota Audio Multimedia System (TAMM) with a 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless Bluetooth® connectivity is standard on all grades. The system is designed and engineered by Toyota’s Texas-based Connected Technology team and is Over-the-Air Updatable. With an active Drive Connect* trial subscription, customers can take advantage of Intelligent Assistant, Cloud Navigation, and Destination Assist, which allows simple phrases like “Hey Toyota” to awaken the system for voice activated commands to search for directions and find Points of Interest (with an active Drive Connect trial or subscription), adjust audio controls, change the cabin temperatures and more.

Crown Signia’s audio system was designed and tuned specifically for the vehicle for optimum audio enjoyment. The XLE grade equipped with a 6-speaker layout for crystal clear sound and for next level sound the Limited grade comes standard with an 11-speaker JBL® Premium audio system with subwoofer powered by an amplifier.

In addition to AM/FM radio, Toyota audio systems serve up a full roster of connectivity tech, including wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatibility. Apple CarPlay includes access to Siri®, while Android Auto users can access Google Assistant. All Crown Signia grades come with a SiriusXM® Platinum Plan 3-month trial subscription to Satellite Radio and HD Radio™.

A digital rearview mirror with HomeLink® universal transceiver is standard on the Limited grade and helps the driver see what’s behind the vehicle with the flip of a switch to instantly provide the driver with a wide, unobstructed view from a rear camera.

To further aid outward visibility, the Limited grade has an available Panoramic View Monitor with 360-degree Overhead View and Curb View that operates in low-speed drive and reverse. For additional convenience, the Limited grade comes standard with a Smart Key System that works on all four doors and the rear liftgate, the XLE grade has a 2-door Smart Key. The Limited grade also has Digital Key capability, which enables a smartphone to be used instead of a physical key (Remote Connect trial or subscription required).

TURKEY TROT LA

Turkey Trot Los Angeles returns to Downtown Los Angeles on Thanksgiving morning, November 23, 2023. The popular Turkey Day charity run has become a holiday tradition for many Angelenos and helps raise money for those in need for The Midnight Mission. Thousands of runners and walkers of all skill levels dressed as Thanksgiving turkeys, pilgrims, and pies will start and finish in front of historic Los Angeles City Hall. The route will take them around Grand Park, pass the world-famous Disney Concert Hall, the Broad Museum, and the Museum of Contemporary Art, and down historic Spring Street, one of the oldest streets in Los Angeles. The annual Turkey Trot Los Angeles has set a goal to raise $100,000 for The Midnight Mission to help those experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles. For more information and to register, please go to www.turkeytrot.la.

Partnerships with corporations will assist in achieving fundraising goals this year. The Midnight Mission and Turkey Trot LA are focused on creating corporate teams that will participate in the 5k or 10k while raising funds. In addition, all participants who donate more than $25 will receive a pair of Bombas socks. Bombas will also be donating over 4,000 pairs of socks to The Midnight Mission.

Funds raised will help remove obstacles to self-sufficiency and provide the accountability and structure that people who are experiencing homelessness need to rejoin their communities. Participants are encouraged to create their own fundraising teams and prizes will be awarded to incentivize fundraising efforts.

“We are thrilled to partner with Generic Events for this year’s Turkey Trot,” said David Prentice, President & CEO of The Midnight Mission. “The Midnight Mission helps people regain self-sufficiency and combat the issues surrounding homelessness. Gratitude in action helps create bridges to significant transformation. We are honored to align with these extraordinary groups to raise awareness for people living on our streets who are hungry and without a home.”

Turkey Trot LA will likely reach over 4,000 festive runners and walkers this year. Participants can choose between a 5k or 10k and run any time and in any location across the country over Thanksgiving weekend. Families can also bring their little ones for the “Widdle Wobble” (ages 2-12) – a fun run around Grand Park featuring a fantastic kid zone with face-painting, kid-friendly fun. This year’s Turkey Trot will debut the inaugural, one-mile “Dog Jog” sponsored by Centinela Feed & Pet starting at 7:30 a.m. Dog race winners will receive a Turkey Trot t-shirt and bandana.

Turkey Trot LA is committed to creating eco-friendly events step by step. This year, we are partnering with eco-friendly companies such as Liquid Death (water in aluminum cans) to create a sustainable event expo, omitting as much plastic as possible by providing aluminum canned water at the finish line and eco-friendly drinking cups along the course, and recycling stations for the aluminum cans will be provided at the finish line.

“We are grateful to bring the Turkey Trot LA back for all Angelenos to join as friends and partners on a personal, civic, and global level,” said Generic Events Co-Founder Brennan Lindner. “All runners, walkers, and fans will experience an amazing community event and have a direct impact on the continued epidemic of homelessness in Los Angeles.”

Participants will enjoy memorable photo opportunities with the 20-foot-tall turkey in front of the City Hall finish line. After they cross the finish line, they are invited to celebrate at the feather-ruffling post-event festival in Grand Park with music, giveaways, and more Turkey Day fun.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Consulate General in Los Angeles is returning as the Gratitude Sponsor in efforts to promote community and charity. This year’s event is also proudly sponsored by Nouri Shaver Auto and Centinela Feed & Pet.

Cotton Incorporated’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ Program

America Recycles Day on Nov. 15 reminds Americans the importance of promoting recycling, and Cotton Incorporated celebrates year-round by giving old denim a new purpose and circular life while keeping them out of landfills. Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program closes the loop on textile waste by reusing denim made from cotton and recycling well-loved pieces. Since the program’s inception in 2006, over 2,290 tons of denim have been diverted from landfills.

America Recycles Day is a Keep America Beautiful initiative that educates and encourages individuals on how to be more mindful of what they consume. Cotton Incorporated reminds consumers that textiles are recyclable, too. A sustainable wardrobe starts by always checking the label to understand what clothes are made of. If denim is made of at least 90% cotton, users can recycle it through Cotton’s Blue Jeans Go Green™ program.

“The Blue Jeans Go Green program™ does good for the Earth by avoiding the landfill and creating new possibilities for communities through their purpose,” Andrea Samber, director of brand partnerships for Cotton Incorporated, said. “Thanks to the renewability of denim made from cotton, your well-loved jeans, jackets, and more can be given a new life, from building insulation to pet bed inserts, thermal packaging and beyond. Recycling textiles is important every day, so we hope that America Recycles Day will be an opportunity for Americans to learn about this incredible program and understand how easy it is to get involved.”

Cotton Incorporated launched the Blue Jeans Go Green™ denim recycling program to encourage denim recycling, generate awareness for cotton sustainability, and create opportunities to make an impact in communities. With nearly 4,580,000 pieces of denim recycled through the program so far, Cotton Incorporated will continue to grow its ongoing commitment to recycling by reducing textile waste.

This America Recycles Day, Cotton Incorporated encourages consumers to join the commitment to recycling and wearing sustainable clothes, like denim made from cotton. Because every piece has potential, every piece can live longer, and every piece can be recycled. To learn more about Cotton Incorporated and the Blue Jeans Go Green™ Program, visit the website

Terry Castro Exhibit

Newly Relaunched Castro NYC Reveals Select Jewels at Carpenters Workshop Gallery New York this Month

Jewelry by the legendary designer, Terry Castro, will be on display in New York now through the end of 2023, under the company led by Sir King Castro

New York, NY. November 8, 2023. Terry Castro, or “Castro,” a name remembered in the jewelry industry for its connection to luxury and heritage, will be honored in Forged by Fire a show held at New York’s Carpenters Workshop Gallery, opening today and on view through December 23rd. The exhibition comes immediately following the brand relaunch of Castro NYC, in which the artist’s son continues the family legacy, awe, and inspiration their father drew from.

Surrounded by the world of jewelry since childhood, Sir King Castro has taken on the mantle of creative direction and design at the firm. Terry Castro’s path pushed boundaries in a manner that was directly imparted to his kin, who was close by through each step of the journey. Sir King’s childhood was spent between New York and Ohio, in the studio with their father in Harlem or at the Toledo School for the Arts, developing creatively. In 2020 they made a relocation to Istanbul which allowed Sir King and Castro to work alongside each other for some time.

Between his move to Istanbul in 2016 and his recent passing last year, Castro transcended into a fully fledged artistic powerhouse, inspired not only from traditional metallurgy, gemology, and design, but from the ancient world and the craftsmen that inhabited the old capitals of empires. During this time, Castro passed the torch to Sir King as his apprentice, while producing some of the most masterful pieces in the Castro NYC collection.

Select Castro NYC pieces will be presented exclusively at the prestigious Carpenters Workshop Gallery exhibit in New York, which curates the work avant-garde luxury artists, including: Michèle Lamy, David Adjaye, Yinka Shonibare, and more. It has locations in London, Paris, and Los Angeles, with the New York gallery perched above Fifth Avenue—a haven for the ideas that co-founders Julien Lombrail and Loïc Le Gaillard have been cultivating for life, selecting only the best works from artists they believe are the icons of their time.

Castro’s travels across the world and Europe inspired many of his works. Spending time in Paris, France, he came to love the decadent pastries served by patisseries in the fashion capital. His favorite French delicacy was the famous croissant, whose crisp layers of buttery flaky crust lent him the inspiration for a jaw-dropping set of earrings, currently on display, which present aluminum alongside royal purple amethyst, antique white diamonds, and hand-carved Mexican ebony. Aluminum is the primary material as an eclectic choice, not only for the usual use in household products, but also because of its extreme brittle nature during the forming process. This caused it to be attempted twice before successful completion, due to the fickle nature of the material, adding to the impressiveness of Castro’s feats of jewelry making.

The Zeeporah earrings, also at the gallery, are an enchanting offering, appearing as two deities. They make a statement, featuring white gold, white diamonds, emeralds, rubies, and sapphires, serving as a testament to jewelry functioning as a conduit to transcendental realms, embodying both ancient protective elements and contemporary elegance. These elements arise from a history of traditional African practices, with the Zeeporah reflecting the dynamic spirit of zebras, which manifests through the ears of a zebra sitting on a bird’s skull. They demonstrate Castro’s ethos, presenting a dynamic interplay of antiquity and novelty, serving as an ode to cultural diversity and progressive evolution.

A signature playful Castro NYC piece at Carpenters Workshop Gallery saunters forward with the silhouette of a full emerald sprite; the Money Brooch creatively blends transparent mined Muzo Emeralds with bronze. Both a brooch and a pendant, it ingeniously conceives an elf-like character made of luxurious material, employing hanging emerald beads to shape limbs, and bronze accents to impart a warm and earthy tone, bringing the jewel to life. Every detail was attended to by Castro, with the resulting piece demonstrating the true wealth of creative identity that went into crafting the charm.

Sir King says, “It means a lot to me that there is so much love for Castro out there, and we’re excited to share the story and work of my father with the public, especially partnering with an artistic institution like Carpenters Workshop Gallery, who have brought the exhibition to life.”

“Forged by Fire features works by 16 contemporary jewelry artists exhibiting collections exclusive to Carpenters Workshop Gallery. This diverse ensemble of contemporary jewelry reflects the rich tapestry of global cultures and individual stories in raw, poetic, and boundary-pushing designs, including Castro NYC, HUNROD Gold, by Michèle Lamy and Loree Rodkin, Paris Kain’s Dominion series and Cindy Sherman x LIZWORKS’ limited edition Cameo series. This exhibition is particularly special, as it marks the first of its kind for Castro NYC since the passing of the late Terry Castro. We are very honored to commemorate his memory through this show,” says Tamara Platiša, Head of Jewellery.

Drawing inspiration from a diverse array of global cultures and personal experiences, Castro’s designs evoke a sense of wonder, leaving an indelible mark. Castro NYC is an embodiment of emotions, a testament to the power of craftsmanship, and a celebration of life’s cherished moments. The brand’s commitment to excellence and passion for pushing the boundaries of design attracts a devoted clientele, and its legacy will continue to be celebrated thanks to Sir King as the torchbearer. Their devotion and precise care to cultivate the Castro NYC brand is transforming it into a new and exciting era.

Onyx RCR shorty tested in The Bronx by 360 MAGAZINE's Vaughn Lowery (eyewear: Tom Ford , jacket: AllSaints, sneakers: Reebok).

ONYX RCR

*ONYX MOTORBIKES is OUT OF BUSINESS.

While spending a few weeks with the ONYX RCR shorty (w/ dirt kit[1] approximately $6500, including delivery), it is evident that motorbike architect Ryan Montana paid special attention to the needs of this generation of riders.

Traditionally, 360 MAGAZINE defies all things automotive in the Los Angeles playground; however, this handsome one is best suited in a market with flawed transit, inadequate streets and challenging weather. After all, the RCR claws into heavily damaged and soiled asphalt. In fact, a few of its newly introduced appointments have addressed poor battery life and ride noise.

We tested the café racer in The Bronx – one of New York’s bustling boroughs. With approximately 1.7 million residents, many of its inhabitants rely on bicycles, e-bikes, and mopeds as a mode of transportation. However, the main deterrent for operating electric bikes in this area is its hillish terrain. With a massive 72V 41Ah powerplant, the RCR easily tackles steep territory. After a text session with the Onyx Motorbike customer service unit, we were reminded that the company’s forefathers began their journey in San Francisco. And, for those who aren’t familiar with SF’s landscape, The Bronx doesn’t hold a candle to the slopes encountered within that locale.

Design

There are no images that can truly relay how attractive this e-bike is. At first glance, many double take at how skeletal the chassis and body appear. With chrome accents and wood paneling, many comment on how stunning the RCR is. It’s part vintage moped from the 1960s in London and part futuristic dirt bike fueled by lithium. Moreover, the American made muscle e-bike is easily modifiable and can be handled by most electric bike technicians.

Performance

The RCR is one of the most agile e-bikes in the industry. With hydraulic brakes (with strong stopping power) and a fork suspension system, the model can easily handle rocky roads. If like us, you purchase the dirt kit, the knobby tires are perfect for digging into sand, dry, and unpaved surfaces. We’re especially proud of making this choice since we’re constantly confronted by sinkholes in the city. Alternative tires are Shinko. The pro: 5.4 kilowatts motor, 142 ft-lbs torque, 60 mph top speed. The con: the ride at higher speeds can become uncomfortable with bouncy feedback and shaking handlebars.

Battery

The 41Ah delivers power and quickly puts to sleep rider anxiety.  We found our unit to achieve 40 miles while in sport mode. One could easily make a round-trip from Yankee Stadium to West 4th. However, when we witnessed the battery level reach 40%, our model displayed flickered lights and shut down. Having a balanced battery with triggers to safeguard cells, kept us safe from hazards like fires and overcharging. The superfast charger refuels in about 2 to 3 hours and will automatically end the session once it reaches it full capacity.

Technology

The handlebars house a car-like display console that exhibits battery life, odometer, and current speed. The handlebars also have access to USB port, which surprisingly isn’t strong enough to power modern smartphones like Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra, equipped with fast 45-watt charging block and capabilities. In our travels, It didn’t seem to charge our Samsung Galaxy earbuds or provide enough juice to power our neon rope light w/ USB from Amazon. The built-in alarm system is robust loud, and if it’s armed while the RCR power button is ‘on’, the position will not allow the tires to roll. Further, having the unit in ‘on’ position makes it easy to hop on and off the unit at a quick store run while providing you with peace of mind.

So far, this black RCR shorty has proven to be a solid competitor in the fields of high-powered ebikes and entry-level electric motorcycles: outstanding performance, superb maneuverability and intuitive design. Kudos to the team at Onyx Motorbikes for engineering, a magnificently enchanting e-bike with unparalleled athleticism and battery life.

Lastly, the Onyx RCR is an excellent alternative for someone seeking to upgrade their Super73 or save big on comparable products like the Swedish Cake.

FESTIVAL MODE ET CULTURE SINO-FRANCAIS

Raxxy’s designer William Shen has presented its new Couture collection in Paris through an installation attracting numerous visitors to capture memories.

When entering the Cultural Center of China, the guests discovered an exhibition mixing the craftmanship of fashion and art.

William Shen, createur de la marque Raxxy a présenté sa nouvelle collection Couture au travers d’une installation à Paris, invitant de nombreux visiteurs à immortaliser ce moment.

Inheriting traditional Chinese culture, Raxxy is combining art and innovative knowledge.

This modern and geometrical expression is deeply inspired by Chinese culture. The puffer garments are worked around the soaring spirit of China and its National Day celebration, fireworks and majestic dragons ascend and dance together, blending into a traditional color palette. The use of warm and pastel colors such as lotus pink, sky and gemstone blue and autumn fragrance yellow merge with the cold and oriental spirit beneath the stark Chinese winter.

Raxxy holds an exclusive patent for its 3D transformation process, leading to a rich inspiration. It weaves together romantic and sensuous expressions, deconstructing the conventional silhouette of puffer jackets to introduce a new concept of “sequential fashion.” It reflects the relationship between the brand’s core and the free-spirited lifestyle of contemporary youth.

9 Style + Grooming Tips for Men

Looking your best is about feeling confident and comfortable in your own skin. While fashion trends come and go, there are some timeless tips for men’s grooming and style that stand the test of time. Follow these nine essential pointers to always put your best face forward.

1. Find a Great Hairstyle for Your Face Shape

Your hairstyle frames your face, so find one that complements your facial features. Oval faces can pull off almost anything, from short to long. Square faces look great with textured styles like fades or spiky hair. Round faces benefit from height on top with short sides. Heart-shaped faces suit voluminous quiffs or messy styles. An experienced barber like this one that’s been in Lansing for over ten years can recommend the most flattering cuts.

2. Moisturize Daily

Daily moisturizer is a must for every man. Look for light, oil-free formulas if you have oily or combination skin. Dry, flaky skin needs richer creams. Apply after washing or shaving when the skin is still damp to seal in moisture. Target areas that are prone to dryness like the T-zone on your nose, forehead and chin.

3. Don’t Neglect Your Skin Care Routine

Washing daily with a gentle cleanser removes dirt, oil and bacteria that can lead to breakouts. Exfoliate once or twice a week to slough off dead cells and keep pores clear. Use a daily SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent premature aging and skin cancer, even if you don’t think you’ll be outside much.

4. Keep Your Beard Neatly Trimmed

If you sport facial hair, regular trimming is essential for a polished look. Use clippers to maintain an even length, then tweezers to pluck stray hairs. Define the edges of your beard with shaving cream and a razor. Apply beard oil or balm daily to condition the hair and skin underneath.

5. Whiten Your Teeth

A bright smile with pearly white teeth gives your look an instant boost. Use whitening toothpaste and strips to reduce stains. If you drink coffee, tea, wine or smoke, brush after to prevent discoloration. See your dentist twice a year for cleanings and touch-up whitening treatments.

6. Tame Unruly Eyebrows

Your eyebrows frame your eyes, so keep them under control. Use small scissors or an electric trimmer to snip any hairs that extend beyond the natural shape. Don’t over-pluck from below or you may end up with thinner brows as you age. Just neaten up the top edges and underneath to keep things tidy.

7. Iron Wrinkled Clothes

Wrinkled clothes look sloppy no matter how nice they are. Invest in a good steam iron to smooth out wrinkles fast. Hang button-downs, pants and jackets immediately after ironing so they don’t re-wrinkle. For really stubborn wrinkles, use a spray bottle of water while ironing to help relax the fibers.

8. Practice Good Hygiene Daily

From bathing to dental care, don’t skip the basics. Shower daily using a germ-fighting body wash. Change into clean underwear and socks every day. Floss and brush twice daily. Deodorant is a must, along with regular hair washes and nail clipping. These simple habits make you look and feel fresher. If you’re also thinking how to stop itchy scalp, washing your hair regularly can help.

9. Drink Water and Eat Healthy Foods

What you put into your body shows on the outside too. Stay hydrated by drinking water throughout the day for clear, glowing skin. Eat plenty of fresh fruits, veggies, lean proteins and whole grains for a balanced diet. Avoid excessive alcohol, caffeine, processed foods and sugar to keep your overall health and appearance in top shape.

Following these essential grooming and style habits will have you looking like your best self every day. Find a routine that fits your lifestyle and stick to it. Invest time and care into your appearance, and your confidence will shine through.
