Today, 23-year-old Saint Kittian artist, Byron Messia releases his brand-new single “90z,” along with the music video. The track comes fresh off the heels of Byron’s viral hit “Talibans,” which has surpassed over 17 million views on YouTube alone, and #1 in 12 countries on Apple Music, solidifying him as the latest global breakout star from the Caribbean rap scene. The music video for the track takes place in Miami and is highly energetic and representative of the parties in Jamaica where dancehall music originated. “90z” is undeniably a summertime anthem and is sure to take Byron to the next level, as he continuously aims to create his own genre called “dancesoul”, which is a combination of dancehall and soul. The single is available now via Ztekk/Simple Stupid/Geffen Records.
Despite only being 23-years-old, Saint Kittian native, Byron Messia, is already on his way to reaching global stardom. His laidback, nocturnal confessional “Talibans” is currently blowing up the internet, winning co-signs from UK political rap sensation Dave, Bobby Shmurda, Burna Boy, and Stefflon Don, surpassing 37.5 million views globally and 3.9 million new weekly streams of his discography. The fast-rising singer-songwriter grew up at the Shadewell estate in Basseterre, Saint Kitts, and was introduced to rap music at a young age by his cousin. Byron subsequently became addicted to how The Notorious B.I.G. would put words together, and by fifth grade, he was doing freestyles on the school playground. Now, through his music, his mission is to inspire struggling youths to do something positive with their lives. He also aims to create his own genre called “dancesoul”, which combines dancehall and rap by mixing soul vocals and pianos with dancehall drum patterns. His resilience on pianio-driven beats (his song “Stay Real” samples Adele’s “Easy On Me) in a dancehall landscape rejects the nostalgic sound, while his storytelling is designed to prompt a revolution in the middle of a sweaty dance floor. The success of “Talibans” and previous single, “Smallest Circle” have prompted people to dive deep into the versatile Byron Messia catalogue, with 2023 albums “No Love” and 2021’s “Pills and Pain” among his artistic highlights. Given his immeasurable success early on and tons of new music in the pipeline, Byron Messia is destined for greatness and undoubtedly an artist to watch.
Today, genre-defying artist d4vd releases his highly anticipated debut EP Petals To Thorns via Darkroom/Interscope. Listen HERE.
Petals To Thorns is an introduction and journey into d4vd’s identity as an artist that’s unable to be boxed into a specific genre. Just one year after beginning to make music in his sister’s closet in Houston, d4vd has delivered masterful nine-track project with familiar hits including RIAA platinum “Romantic Homicide,” a grungy, guitar-driven breakup anthem, and RIAA gold “Here With Me,” a slow-building beachy ballad, and new tracks showcasing his inimitable sound. The EP establishes d4vd as one of the best new emerging acts, corroborated by his recent Billboard 21 Under 21 honor.
Today, d4vd debuts a video for “The Bridge,” a modern melody that draws from early 2000s pop punk, with heavy guitar riffs and palpable percussion. Its accompanying red-tinged, music video perfectly visually encapsulates d4vd’s angst-filled, heartbroken lyrics. Watch “The Bridge” HERE.
The EP also hears d4vd partner with Icelandic pop-artist Laufey on “This Is How It Feels” an entrancing ballad, heavily rooted in storytelling with d4vd and Laufey communicating through song against twinkling piano keys. The result is something straight out of a fairytale, not dissimilar from the soundtracks of your favorite nostalgic childhood films, but with modern lyrics evocative of the love stories of today. See the full Petals To Thorns EP tracklist below.
Today, fresh off his explosive North American tour, rap phenomenon Yeat teams up with superstar Young Thug for new single “My wrist.” Produced by Pi’erre Bourne, the track threads dissonance and distortion together into an undeniably bouncy beat while Thug and Yeat careen through their verses. Dotted with the duo’s signature ad-libs, the song is as propulsive as one would expect from the superstar collaboration.
“My wrist” (Field Trip Recordings / Geffen Records) by Yeat & Young Thug is available at all digital retailers HERE.
“My wrist” comes in the wake of AftërLyfe, Yeat’s acclaimed album from earlier this year. The record-shattering album marked Yeat’s highest album debut to date at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Receiving an impressive 30M global streams within the first 24 hours alone, the album release was also Yeat’s largest streaming day for his entire catalog with a staggering 60M total combined streams. The blockbuster project, which currently has all 22 tracks surpassing 1M streams on Spotify, sold nearly 55,000 album equivalent units in its first week of release.
After breaking through in 2021 when “Gët Busy” exploded on TikTok, Yeat earned co-signs from the likes of Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Young Thug — and quickly amassed superstar-worthy statistics of his own. In 2022, he clocked more than two billion streams and sold more than 2.1 albums globally, cementing his spot among rap heavyweights whose career will only continue to ascend as the years go on. Recently, he had his highest album debut to date with AftërLyfe at #4 on the Billboard 200 chart. Receiving an impressive 30M streams within the first 24 hours alone, the album release was also Yeat’s largest streaming day for his entire catalog with a staggering 60M total combined streams. AftërLyfe marks Yeat’s third entry into the Top 10, with previous projects Up 2 Me at #6 and Lyfë at #10.
ABOUT YEAT:
Low-fi melodies, clever cutting lyrics, and a distinctly mysterious persona are all highlights that build up the enigma that is Yeat, one of the most interesting rises in music. The prolific rapper broke through in 2021 when his song “Gët Busy” began appearing in TikTok videos. The track became so ubiquitous that it caught the attention of heavyweight rappers, including Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, and many more. As his fame skyrocketed, so did the mania surrounding the artist’s cult-like following which led to the shutdown of a show in Los Angeles at The Roxy. Now, with two headlining tours under his belt, three Billboard Top 10 Album Debuts, and over 5.1 billion global streams, the young talent is well on his way to superstardom.
Yeat was born Noah Smith in 2000. He began releasing music around 2015, taking notes from Young Thug’s melodic strangeness and the inventive production styles of rappers who were rising to prominence as he grew up. He started out using the moniker Lil Yeat, but shortened it to Yeat in 2018. That year, he released his first mixtape, Deep Blue Strips. From then on, he was in hyperdrive. As his fame skyrocketed, Yeat released the mixtapes Alivë and 4L, and the Trëndi EP, before signing to Field Trip Recordings / Geffen Records for the release of his first proper studio album. Up 2 Më was issued in September 2021 followed by a second studio LP, 2 Alivë, in early 2022 and AftërLyfe in 2023.

Banks and credit card companies have made it exceptionally simple for customers to dispute a charge, often to the point where it is quicker for them to contact their bank rather than the merchant. It has been observed that, following a chargeback, the purchasing behavior of consumers toward a merchant goes down by as much as 62%. However, it is important to note that more than 80% of chargebacks can be avoided if the customer first contacts the merchant.
“Banks are making it a lot easier for customers to dispute charges; they want to keep their customers happy, and with the growth of dispute inquiries, an increasingly competitive landscape, and the ever-evolving demands of their cardholders, banks have no choice but to make the process as easy as possible for their customers,”states Monica Eaton, CEO of Chargebacks911, the world’s first chargeback mitigation and prevention service provider.
Yet, “the Chargeback Triangle,” involving the consumer, merchant, and bank, is a loophole that is often exploited by consumers.
Reports suggest that 86% of chargebacks are probable “friendly fraud” cases. Friendly fraud occurs when a buyer fraudulently tries to initiate a chargeback with their bank or card issuer by falsely claiming that the product was defective, not delivered, or unauthorized, instead of directly requesting a refund from the merchant.
Chargeback remediation can reverse the downward trend. Chargeback management solutions provide automated tools to reduce the time and resources required to respond to chargebacks, along with the help of agnostic solutions that assist merchants and financial institutions to standardize and automate otherwise manual processes every step of the way.
“Online retailers must make it easier for customers to reach out to their business by providing contact information that is easily visible to their customers. They must provide personal and exceptional customer service and ensure that all return policies, shipping costs, fees, and sales tax are explained up-front and easily understood,”advises Monica Eaton.

Dominion’s defamation lawsuit will be settled by Fox for $787.5 million.
On Tuesday, Fox Corp. and its cable networks reached an agreement to pay Dominion Voting Systems $787.5 million to settle the defamation lawsuit brought against them for spreading false claims that Dominion’s machines influenced the results of the 2020 US presidential election.
A resolution has been reached between Dominion Voting Systems and Fox News to settle the defamation case worth $1.6 billion. Dominion, an electronic voting company, had sued the cable news giant over baseless accusations aired on its network that alleged Dominion had assisted in manipulating the 2020 US presidential election to favor Joe Biden over Donald Trump.
Fox News released a statement expressing their satisfaction in reaching a settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, stating that they recognize the court’s findings that some of their claims about Dominion were untrue. The network emphasized its dedication to upholding the highest standards of journalism and expressed optimism that their decision to settle the dispute with Dominion in a friendly manner instead of engaging in a divisive trial would enable the nation to move past these controversies.

The power struggle in Sudan continues into its second day, resulting in a death toll of at least 56 from the ongoing fighting.
The military clashes between Sudan’s main paramilitary force and the country’s military have caused a death toll of at least 56. Both sides are disputing control of the presidential palace and the international airport in Khartoum, creating uncertainty and posing a threat to Sudan’s stability and the wider region.
Violent clashes between Sudan’s paramilitary group and the army have continued for a second day, escalating the tensions that have been building for months.
“Due to the clashes near the hospital, they have been unable to leave and return to their homes since yesterday. She also mentioned that armed men from the army have been seen carrying weapons inside the hospital,” according to a report by CNN.
The clashes broke out as a result of an apparent power struggle between the two main factions of Sudan’s military regime. While the Sudanese armed forces are primarily loyal to Gen Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, the country’s de facto ruler, the Rapid Support Forces (RSF), made up of various militias, follow the former warlord Gen Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, who is also known as Hemedti.
Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the chief of Sudan’s paramilitary group, has claimed to have taken control of most of Khartoum’s official sites following clashes between his group and the country’s military on Saturday.

The Donald Trump Indictment
Former President Donald Trump has been indicted by a grand jury in New York on 34 felony counts related to falsifying business records. The indictment was unsealed on Tuesday after Trump’s arraignment in a Manhattan courtroom, where he pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The Manhattan District Attorney’s Office alleges that Trump orchestrated a “catch and kill” scheme aimed at suppressing damaging information prior to the 2016 election. These charges are connected to payments made to Michael D. Cohen, Trump’s former personal attorney, as reimbursement for a payment made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about an alleged affair during the 2016 presidential campaign.
According to a statement of facts released alongside the indictment, “the defendant DONALD J. TRUMP repeatedly and fraudulently falsified New York business records to conceal criminal conduct that hid damaging information from the voting public during the 2016 presidential election.” This indictment suggests that Trump engaged in a pattern of deceptive behavior in an effort to keep damaging information hidden from the public during the election.

Millions of American women are buying guns for self-protection. If you are one of them, or plan to be, Paxton Quiqley urges you to arm yourself with information and train with experts so that you can safely defend yourself and your loved ones against any potential violence. Reading this book is the perfect place to start.
“Highly recommended reading, especially beginners, for those considering firearms training. Paxton addresses the essential factors related to choosing firearms as an option for protecting yourself and those you love.” -Mark Vinci, Director, Model Mugging Self Defense for Women
“Paxton Quigley-an expert on women, on home intrusion, and rape.” –Oprah Winfrey
“Paxton Quigley, a modern-day Annie Oakley who teaches women how to shoot in the name of empowerment.” -Caitlin Kelly, Blown Away, American Women and Guns
“If you’re a woman in the market for a gun to protect yourself, reading this book is a vital first step.” -David Patrick Columbia, newyorksocialdiary.com
“In the women’s gun movement, Paxton Quigley is the great persuader.” –60 Minutes
“15 million women are gun owners, and they’re finding a guru named Paxton Quigley. Her message is being heard.” –NBC Nightly News
My Armed & Female book series has been called “the bible of gun self-defense for women,” and although the first book has been available for many years, I realized that with all of the changes in laws and the new attitudes about guns, it was time to update the book. Numerous people asked me to revise it without losing its spirit and intent since it has helped many women make the decision to arm themselves safely and confidently.
Owning a firearm for self-defense is your right as an American, but with that right comes extreme responsibility and accountability. Gun ownership is not a Red State vs. Blue State issue. In a country with 120 guns for every 100 people, plenty of liberals are pro-gun, and many conservatives support some type of gun regulations. Even in a state like California, which has some of the strictest gun laws in the country, as well as a strong anti-gun political climate, many residents are buying and learning how to use firearms. All over America, women of all ages, religions, nationalities, and races have come to the realization that to protect themselves and their families against escalating violence – many feel that they cannot trust their local law enforcement – they need to own a firearm.
Many of these women report that they’ve left or are trying to leave violent relationships. Others just want to have some control over their own personal safety in a rapidly changing world. Many purchased handguns without knowing how to use them. It is for all the women who want to learn about the pros and cons of gun ownership, and about how to protect themselves safely and effectively with a firearm that I decided to write my newest book, Armed & Female II: Never An Easy Target.
