MEGHAN TRAINOR RELEASES FOURTH ALBUM VIA 360 MAGAZINE.

MEGHAN TRAINOR – TAKIN’ IT BACK

GLOBAL SUPERSTAR MEGHAN TRAINOR RELEASES FOURTH FULL-LENGTH ALBUM, TAKIN’ IT BACK, VIA EPIC RECORDS

LISTEN HERE

UNVEILS VIDEO FOR NEW SINGLE “MADE YOU LOOK”

WATCH HERE

October 21st, 2022 – Today, GRAMMY® Award-winning, global superstar Meghan Trainor has released her anxiously awaited fourth full-length album, Takin’ It Back, via Epic Records. This time around, she made a conscious decision to hark back to the signature sound she introduced on her 2015 full-length debut, TITLE, and bring it forward to today. Listen HERE.

About the album, Meghan said, “I tried to do the doo wop feel I had at the beginning of my career, but the 2022 version of it. This is from the new Meghan who is a wife and mom with a baby. This is from me right now. I decided to give the people what they want, but with my spices added to it. I wanted to make my Title 2.0.”

To bring the record to life, she worked closely alongside a “core squad” of Gian Stone, Federico Vindver, Sean Douglas, and her brothers Ryan and Justin Trainor out of her own home studio. The first single released from the album “Bad For Me,” featuring Teddy Swims found the powerhouse tapping into her doo wop roots with throwback harmonies underlining a simmering groove as she opened up lyrically. Her second release, “Don’t I Make It Look Easy” is a track with anthemic energy that resonates for many, especially mothers, who juggle so many things and yet make it look so easy.

Accompanying the album’s release is a video for Meghan’s new single, “Made You Look.” The spunky track has horns that pipe up as her doo wop harmonies double up the attitude on the chorus, “I could have my Gucci on. I could wear my Louis Vuitton, but even with nothing on, bet I made you look.” The vibrant and stylized music video sees Meghan moving between different colorful worlds – from Hollywood set ups to a  big finale dance performance. By Meghan’s side are TikTok personalities Chris Olsen, Remi Bader, Becca Means, Drew Afualo, along with JoJo Siwa, Scott Hoying, and husband Daryl Sabara. Watch HERE.

Yesterday, Candy Crush Saga exclusively debuted the video in-game for the first time in the game’s 10-year history. From October 20th to 26th, Meghan will be transformed into a “Candified” character for an immersive in-game takeover. Players will be able to swipe along with her, unlocking a variety of special treats and boosters.

Regarding “Made You Look,” Meghan said, ““After having a baby, I struggled really hard to feel sexy. I actually wrote this song when I was ass-naked singing the chorus in the shower,” she admits. “I can wear all of these gorgeous things, but I look better without all of that shit on. I wrote a self-love anthem for myself. Even though you had a baby, went through it, and your body shows it, you’re still sexy.”

Takin’ It Back integrates doo-wop and classic harmonies into one anthem after another taking you through Meghan’s journey into marriage, motherhood, and achieving a new level of confidence.

Reebok and Maharishi sneaker collaboration via 360 MAGAZINE.

Reebok × Maharishi

Reebok and London-based streetwear label Maharishi announced their second collaborative project, the Maharishi x Reebok LT Court Hemp, calling on the plant fabric that’s been a mainstay in Maharishi collections since the 1990s. The Maharishi x Reebok LT Court Hemp ($120, GZ9587) is available October 28 exclusively from Maharishi before its wider global release on November 7 from Reebok.com and select fashion retailers.

Founded in 1994 by Hardy Blechman, Maharishi is defined by its ‘pacifist military design’ aesthetic and a strong respect for nature and utilitarian design. Following their spring 2022 collaboration on Reebok’s Classic Leather AZ, this next instalment continues to showcase the brands’ mutual respect for heritage sports footwear.

“This is yet another great opportunity for us to delve into Reebok’s rich archive of classics,” commented Maharishi founder, Hardy Blechman.

Built with an army green rubber outsole, chalk midsole, and an off-white hemp fabric upper, Maharishi’s LT Court Hemp offers a natural, understated take on the 40-year-old court model.

“Hemp belongs to one of Earth’s most versatile, resilient, and advanced plant families, which makes it particularly meaningful to us as a medium for product creation,” explained Blechman, alluding to Maharishi’s dedication to hemp fabrication and use of other organic materials.

Additional key design elements for the shoe include a soft suede heel tab and terry lining, Maharishi all-over logo arch bandage, Maharshi logo window box, and OG LT Court components like a deconstructed toe box and cup sole tooling.

“The LT court is a great court shoe from Reebok’s ’80s archives,” concluded Blechman. “By utilizing hemp and a minimalistic design, the piece stays true to both Maharishi and classic Reebok styling.”

The story is told visually from Maharishi’s studio in Soho, with campaign imagery (HERE) featuring Shy FX, a legendary producer in the UK jungle music scene in which Reebok has been long intertwined.

The Maharishi x Reebok LT Court Hemp ($120, GZ9587) is available in unisex sizing October 28 exclusively from Maharishi before its wider global release on November 7 from Reebok.com and select fashion retailers.

The Surfer and The Sage by Shaun Tomson & Noah benShea inside 360 MAGAZINE.

This environmentalist was one of the top surfers of the century and became the surfing world champion in 1971.

Tomson is considered among the most influential surfers in history. “When you find your passion, you just put in the hours and improve,” Shaun confesses when he speaks of his dedication to surfing. “I consider that I have a natural aptitude for competition. I’ve been racing for 16 years,” he adds.

Making a living from surfing has been Shaun’s dream. He admits that his professional surfing life has been amazing. ”I made my dream come true,” he confesses. Apart from having a passion for this sport, he’s established a lecture series where he has spoken at thousands of global corporations as well as universities where he has presented self-help methods to underprivileged children around the world.

Banzai Pipeline in Hawaii is one of the most dangerous surf competitions. In 1975, he rode the infamous waves along the legendary north coast of Oahu and “became the youngest winner, I was 20 years old,” he said.

Mental health is integral to Shaun Tomson and he lives in a myriad of mantras. ”You must have a commitment of trust,” he explains. In 2006, Tomson lost his 15-year-old son in a catastrophic accident, a school prank gone terribly wrong. As part of the process and to help other youth, Shaun has returned to work as a motivating speaker in hopes of encouraging today’s youth to make positive choices. As he loves to say in his interviews ‘Find your goal, find your power. My mission is to create what we call the Wave app across the Atlantic.”

Writing has become a integral part of his new career.” All you need to put hope work is to write your promises and say them aloud to promise you,” he said. “In your own words, you can create your own commitment, strength and power to achieve what you want,” Shaun adds.

In 2013, the legendary surfer published a book about self-improvement, The Code: The Power of I Will, a piece of literature that sums up life navigation. In this one, it provides a simple strategy for people facing the challenges of daily life, making positive decisions that can change their lives.

Since 1977, Tomson has put aside his trophies as a World Surfing Champion and began using his pro-athlete methodologies in short readings. He uses metaphors from his intense training regiment to give meaningful life lessons to all ages. If you haven’t read any of his books, we encourage you to engage in a series of readings, especially if you desperately need to compartmentalize some of life’s toughest hurdles.
