Tony Stark aka iron man from marvel via 360 Magazine

IRON MAN

On the eve of the character’s 60th anniversary, Iron Man will begin a new era this December. Writer Gerry Duggan (X-Men) and artist Juan Frigeri (Avengers) will kick off a new run of IRON MAN’s solo title that will bring Tony Stark to his darkest depths only to rise greater than ever before! INVINCIBLE IRON MAN will follow Christopher Cantwell’s thought-provoking run on the title that concludes in November’s IRON MAN #750, the upcoming milestone issue that will give fans their first glimpse of what’s to come in this new chapter. The ongoing series will begin with Tony reflecting on the highs and lows of his 60 years of history, including digging up some classic armors and confronting old wounds, to overcome a devastating defeat at the hands of a Marvel villain who’s been making big waves throughout the Marvel Universe recently.

It all ends here? Tony Stark, the genius-billionaire-playboy-philanthropist, has lost it all: his wealth…his fame…his friends. But Stark doesn’t realize he still has so much more to lose, especially when a mystery villain puts out a hit on him! Every assassin around the Marvel Universe has come out of the shadows for Tony — and he has no idea who hired them! Will this cavalcade of killers close the book on Iron Man? It’s the beginning of the end, as the Golden Avenger must fight for his life and find out what it really means to hit rock bottom.

“It’s my privilege to try and follow Christopher Cantwell and his collaborators’ stellar run on IRON MAN heading into an anniversary year,” Duggan said. “Juan and I are going to introduce a new menace that is gunning for Tony Stark and his greatest creation. We have an epic tale for Stark and plans for old foes, including flashbacks to some of his classic armors. How about a little Silver Centurion for his diamond anniversary? Armor up, you’re gonna need it.”

Check out the cover by Kael Ngu and stay tuned for more news about the title and the other ways Marvel Comics will be honoring Iron Man’s 60th anniversary next year. For more information, visit Marvel.com.

Creative Director Berit Gilma inside 360 MAGAZINE

BERIT GILMA

Listen to Berit Gilma and Vaughn Lowery on 360 MAG Amazon | Spotify podcast HERE.

Rising creative director and artist Berit Gilma is making her multi-disciplinary talents known on Danny Elfman‘s latest project, the upcoming remix album Bigger. Messier.

The young Austrian-born artist based between Los Angeles and Berlin creative-directed the record, released on August 12, as well as Elfman’s 2021 album Big Mess. She led all visual elements of both releases and co-curated the lineup of remixers that would transform Elfman’s tracks on Bigger. Messier

Gilma’s expertise in digital art and new technologies was pivotal for Elfman’s renaissance, helping him return to his artistic roots in alternative music while collaborating with underground and established artists alike. Best known for the new wave band Oingo Boingo and his TV and movie scoring work, Elfman’s uproarious, career-spanning set at Coachella, went viral earlier this year.

For the latest remix to drop from the new album, Gilma invited Blixa Bargeld (Einstürzende Neubauten) to rework “In Time,” bringing together two legends of alternative music for the first time as well as co-producing the track. Gilma conceived the collaboration after having returned to Berlin, where Bargeld lives, from Los Angeles during the COVID pandemic.

“We tried to bring exciting musicians on board to completely rethink Danny’s songs,” says Gilma. “Legends as well as contemporary, young artists from various genres. Living in Berlin for so long, I’ve always been a Einstürzende Neubauten admirer. As underground icons, they inspired the international music scene and many bands to come. Danny and Blixa are both true artistic souls. They both started with similar interests, and just due to their cultural contexts went very different journeys. By introducing them to each other, I thought something magical could happened – and it did.”

The striking video for “In Time” is inspired by Gilma and Elfman’s mutual fascination with AI systems in art. Gilma invited Italian AV artist LOREM to reinterpret the album’s visuals with artificial intelligence.

Says Gilma, “I have worked with LOREM before and love his art. Both Blixa and Danny were excited about the idea to let an artificial intelligence “dream” the video using the lyrics. The outcome is an endless moving pull through a dream-scape of an AI trying to make sense of what was given to it.”

Previously-released tracks from the album include noise-rapper GHOSTEMANE’s remix of “Native Intelligence,” by Elfman and Trent Reznor. Other remixers and collaborators include legends such as Iggy Pop, along with Squarepusher, Zach Hill (Death Grips), Boy Harsher, HEALTH, and many more.

Gilma thoroughly defined the aesthetic direction of Bigger. Messier. – her vision brought together a curated list of artists, who worked with cutting-edge technology such as 3D scanning, CGI, and artificial intelligence to digitally manipulate Danny’s body. Warping and twisting his form into something grotesque and sinister, the visuals are perfectly complimenting the rocker’s dark musical vision. These artworks were used on album covers, packaging, and as backing visuals during Elfman’s live performances.

Bigger. Messier. was released today. Watch the video for “In Time (feat. Blixa Bargeld)” here.

About Berit Gilma

Berit Gwendolyn Gilma has made a career out of chasing what lurks in the shadows. Born and raised in Austria, at 21 she moved to Berlin and quickly fell into the city’s underground scene. While exploring the German capital’s pulsating music and arts scene she befriended hacktivists and artists working on the bleeding edge of tech, criticizing pervasive global surveillance systems. She holds a BA degree from the University of the Arts Berlin, where she studied New Media Arts under celebrated Chinese dissident artist Ai Weiwei

Her path diverged in 2016 when she met world-famous Hollywood composer and musician Danny Elfman. They bonded over a shared interest in the weirder side of pop culture, and after earning a Fulbright Scholarship and moving to Los Angeles to pursue an MFA at the UCLA Design Media Arts Department, she became Elfman’s creative director. As he prepared to re-enter the music industry after a long hiatus as a solo artist, Elfman turned to Gilma as a collaborator. She provided creative and art direction for Elfman’s album Big Mess, introducing him to contemporary digital artists and new technologies such as 3D scanning and artificial intelligence to produce cutting edge visuals that were used throughout the album art and music videos. Her latest project with Elfman is the remix album Bigger. Messier., for which she co-curated a lineup of legendary collaborators including Iggy PopTrent ReznorBlixa Bargeld and exciting young talents like GhostemaneHEALTHBoy Harsher and many others.

In her artistic work Gilma has explored the aesthetics of secrecy. Her MFA degree examined the intersection of art and science, and she has also studied at the New School in New York and RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. She often returns home to Graz as the art curator of the city’s Elevate Festival, a destination for contemporary art and electronic music. What unites all of Berit Gilma’s activities is a sensitivity for the dark arts, carving for herself a unique niche where sound and vision merge at the forefront of technology.

How to Age Gracefully and Prioritise Health

People often think that the phrase ‘ageing gracefully’ is simply a euphemism for accepting your wrinkles and saying no to Botox. However, we consider ageing gracefully to be an entirely different state of mind. It’s about putting your physical and mental health first, without losing your joie de vivre as you enter your senior years. Sure, looks are important, but it’s more vital that you prioritise other things first.

No matter what age you are, your health should always be a top priority. Without great health, you won’t be able to enjoy the things you love the most in life. However, as our bodies get older, we find that we become weaker and that we simply can’t do things as well as we used to. It’s important to train your body whilst you are still fit, so that it can better cope with the challenges that are yet to come.

Nourish Your Body

If you want to feel great, you’ll need to feed your body with great ingredients. This means getting plenty of Vitamin B12, Potassium, Dietary Fibre, Calcium, and Vitamin D. If you’re not sure where to find these, we suggest you opt for a diet with lots of beans, nuts, lean meats, wholegrains, low-fat dairy, as well as brightly coloured fruit and vegetables. If you’re in need of some inspiration, check out these delicious and nutritious recipes.

Move Your Body Everyday

A little bit of exercise each day will work wonders as you get older. Even if you just go for a short walk every evening, get those muscles moving and that blood pumping. Plus, being outdoors will give you a much-needed energy boost. Moderate intensity exercise can help lower your risk of heart disease, diabetes, strokes, and strengthen your bones.

Maintain a Healthy Weight

No matter what age you are, maintaining a healthy weight is of the essence. Not only will you reduce the risk of developing health problems, but you’ll also feel more capable of doing the things you love. If you’re underweight you can increase your risk of fractured bones and become more susceptible to infections. However, if you’re overweight, you could be at risk of high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, and even some forms of cancer.

Visit Your Doctor Regularly

As we get older, visits to the doctor should become more frequent. Many people refuse to get the help they need as they don’t want to come across as weak during their older years. However, thanks to modern day medicine, medical devices, such as hearing aids, are practically invisible. Similarly, if you suffer from a chronic obstructive pulmonary condition, ask your doctor for the smallest portable oxygen concentrator available.

Keep Your Brain Active

Keeping your brain active and healthy can help reduce the likelihood of cognitive disabilities in old age. It’s important to stimulate your brain on a daily basis. You can do so by eating well and exercising regularly as well as conducting social activities and managing stress levels. It can even be as simple as a game of scrabble with a family member or reading a chapter of your favourite book each night before bed.

Stay in Touch with Friends

Sure, mental and physical health are important, but so is your emotional wellbeing. Humans are inherently social beings, so you should try to maintain a social life as you get older. If you’re not sure where to get started, why not try out a new group activity that can put you in touch with other members of the community. Try joining a book club in your local area or even take up volunteering at your favourite charity.

Ageing gracefully is all about embracing life and powering forward no matter the circumstances. It’s about living in the moment and finding humour in the challenges that are thrown your way. To age gracefully, you must be flexible in both your body and mind. Be open to new things, forgive yourself (as well as others), and be grateful for the life you have lived so far.

This may be easier said than done, however, if you keep a positive attitude, you’re already halfway there. Steer your mind towards the right direction and your body should follow suit. Remember to eat healthy and give your body the nutrients it needs to fortify your body. Get your daily exercise completed without any excuses an help your muscles grow stronger. Follow your doctor’s orders and remember to train your brain as well as your body.

“We’re very excited to be adding Washington, D.C., to our scheduled service,” explained Peter Manice, Tailwind Air cofounder and director of scheduled services. “When factoring in the full journey—one hour and twenty minutes in the air (comparable to DCA-LGA service except with no need to access crowded and congested airports on both ends) or the three hours fifty minutes for the Acela—Tailwind Air will offer the fastest, least stressful,  premium way to travel between DC and Manhattan. That, paired with the unforgettable views, makes this a compelling experience.”

College Park is a historic, uncongested airport 25 minutes from the Capitol, 18 minutes from Chevy Chase, 25 minutes from Georgetown, and 5 minutes from the University of Maryland. With ample free parking adjacent to the modern terminal building, Uber, Lyft, and taxi availability, and just a short walk to the frequent subway service from College Park Metro station (Green Line) and MARC train station, accessing the airport is a breeze.

New York Skyport (NYS) is Manhattan’s dedicated seaplane base. Located at the eastern end of 23rd Street along the East River, Tailwind Air operates all Manhattan departures from there and has a dedicated climate-controlled lounge for all passengers.

“Bypassing the congestion of the northeast corridor between New York and Washington, DC remains the core mission of Tailwind Air. This new D.C. service complements our existing groundbreaking service between Manhattan and Boston Harbor as well as our numerous summer destinations in the Hamptons and Provincetown,” stated Alan Ram, CEO and cofounder of Tailwind Air.

Check-in cutoff is just 10 minutes prior to departure. Tailwind Air erases the hassle and expense of commuting via a commercial airport, train, ferry, or rental car. By eliminating the uncertainty of check-in, security, airport congestion, and drive time delays, Tailwind Air reduces stress and delivers memorable and fast solutions on all of our routes. While Tailwind Air’s turboprop seaplane fleet is young—less than five years on average—seaplane travel certainly is not. The Manhattan Skyport opened in 1936 and has been hosting popular seaplane travel for decades. In addition, seaplane operations have been part of the core transportation landscape of cities such as Seattle, Miami, and Vancouver for nearly a hundred years.

The complete Tailwind Air flight schedule can be found at flytailwind.com. Tickets can be purchased  through our website, or the Tailwind Air iOS app, or by phone (24 hrs a day). KELOW LATESHA releases new ep via 360 MAGAZINE

TURBO EP

PG County, Maryland native, acclaimed artist Kelow LaTesha today has released her long-awaited sophomore EP TURBO in partnership with SoundCloud. The genre-defying latest body of work from one of DMV’s most distinctive voices in Rap is available to experience HERE.

Packed with electrifying anthems created to resonate with one and all, TURBO is an apex of self-expression, self-reflection, and self-care that delivers bursts of escapism and unimaginable bliss blanked in sonic daringness from the wide-ranged artist.

Creating TURBO, I constantly found myself in a perspective where I had to turn up from such a low position, but I literally couldn’t think any other way to go than up … each record recorded has a lot of energy, A LOT OF JOY, and was a good time to create. I want each listener to take these pieces of me as a pick me up & motivation to go TURBO” – Kelow LaTesha

TURBO is heralded in by her latest single, “Relax,” which arrived today with an accompanying music video HERE, along with several other exuberant singles, including “He Ain’t Mine,” featuring Asian Doll praised by XXL, UPROXX, and more, “GENIUS,” “Charizard” and “Tititinc,” praised by XXL, VIBE, Earmilk with a feature from the late Goonew—a fellow Maryland native and close comrade to Kelow.

For this project, Kelow continues to deliver on her natural ability to take complete creative control. This body of art reflects her growth as an artist with over a decade of work that attests to her prowess and acclaim. Her most recent project TSA (2020), serves as the antithesis for TURBO—from someone bracing themself for a new destination, uneasy with not knowing where exactly they will land, to embracing the journey in all forms; the rough patches and turbulence that later leaves one at their highest whilst ascending to self-actualization. A staple in the DMV’s rap scene, having collaborated with the likes of Goldlink for his album At What Cost (2017), offering a profane prayer-life verse (also heard at the beginning of his video for “Crew”), to collaborating with Lil Uzi Vert, Rico Nasty and more the attention for Kelow LaTesha has remained evident. As she continues to create a legacy of artistic excellence, no holds are barred for the high-powered music star.

Murderworld Avengers Cover VIA Marvel

MARVEL MEETS MURDERWORLD

Let the games begin! This November, Marvel’s greatest heroes will confront the full terror of MURDERWORLD in a new saga!

Crafted by writers Jim Zub (Conan the BarbarbianAvengers: No Surrender) and Ray Fawkes (One SoulConstantine), this five-part series will plunge readers into the darkest depths of Arcade’s Murderworld, the classic location that’s caused mayhem in the Marvel Universe for decades! Overloaded with gut-wrenching twists, unbelievable deaths, and bloodied and bruised Marvel heroes, this unpredictable story will reveal just how deadly Murderworld truly is and uncover shocking truths behind the countless victims that have found themselves trapped there.

Zub and Fawkes will be joined by a murderer’s row of talented artists throughout the series starting with Jethro Morales. The wildly violent ride will kick off in MURDERWORLD: AVENGERS #1 and then continue in one-shots starring Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Moon Knight before exploding in typical Murderworld fashion in a dramatic finale issue!

Hundreds are killed every year in an elaborate secret tournament run by a sadistic man with nearly limitless resources at his fingertips. It’s not an urban legend. It’s not a myth – MURDERWORLD is real! It’s online, and the gruesome truth has been hidden from everyone except its victims – until NOW. Meet Paul Pastor, the extraordinary young documentarian who’s going to expose it all…with some super-powered help, starting with the Avengers! In MURDERWORLD: AVENGERS, the Black Widow has a personal grudge to settle with Murderworld mastermind Arcade – but can she stop this game before it kills again?

“When I first saw Murderworld in an issue of Uncanny X-Men, I was fascinated by its colorful corniness mixed with deception and violence,” Zub explained. “Many years ago, Ray and I chatted about a twisted thriller-survival story set in Arcade’s deadly playground, and now, starting with MURDERWORLD: AVENGERS, we’re finally getting the chance to unleash it!”

“Murderworld is one of those stealthy, ultra-compelling concepts that always made the Marvel Universe so fascinating to me – the gaudy, family-fun veneer slapped over a deadly threat. When Jim and I were discussing it, ideas to make it more and more frightening and exciting just kept coming to us. I’m thrilled to bring them to readers in all their horrible glory!” Fawkes added.

Be there when Arcade powers up Murderworld and raises the stakes higher than ever in MURDERWORLD: AVENGERS this November! For more information, visit Marvel.

I came up with this title thinking about my childhood and the things I used to see as a kid. I saw things dat I didn’t know were wrong until later on in life. Things that the older people around me made seem cool or ‘The way of life’ as I always looked at it. Dat made me realize dat I’m not the only kid who went through this, it’s kids goin’ through this right now and don’t even kno. I just want to show them that they are being misguided before it’s too late.”
– OMB Peezy

The sixteen-track mixtape is the product of the prodigious rising Rap star whose natural talent as an artist has thrived from self-growth, being a father, and in-studio collaborations with elite producers Murda Beatz (Drake, Gucci Mane), Hitmaka (Lil Wayne, Chris Brown), HicksMadeThat (Young Boy Never Broke, Yung Bleu) and more. In addition to the project acclaimed track, “Mufasa” featuring G Herbo, released earlier his year, MisGuided features an array of tracks that magnify the lack of education OG’s passed down to the youth as Peezy takes complete charge to end the cycle speaking from a newly adapted perspective from being a father. Peezy paints a vivid picture of the pain and struggle he’s faced leading to this point; however, in the end, proves that all trials eventually lead to triumphs. The project comes to a cinematic end with a triumphant, base-knocking outro reminiscent of nostalgic Rap splendor made to inspire and evoke the energy of the streets to the global masses. OMB Peezy turns a new page as once being MisGuided to standing tall masterfully in his craft and the man he’s become today.

Slated to take his victory lap on the heels of his latest release, the Mobile, Alabama native prepares for this tour with  Kevin Gates via ‘Big Lyfe’ tour kicking off on 8/23/22. For additional tour information, visit HERE.

BLACKPINK – PINK VENOM

BLACKPINK unveils their new single “Pink Venom” via YG Entertainment / Interscope Records. Euphoric and empowering, “Pink Venom” is the lead single from JisooJennieRosé, and Lisa’s highly anticipated sophomore album, BORN PINK, due September 16. Pre-order HERE. “Pink Venom” (YG Entertainment / Interscope Records) is available at all digital retailers HERE

In celebration of BLACKPINK’s long-awaited comeback, they are lit up the globe from New York to London, Rio, and beyond as part of the “LIGHT UP THE PINK” campaign. Across five continents, landmarks were lit pink and digital projections are being displayed on iconic monuments including the Brooklyn Bridge, London’s Marble Arch, the Tokyo Tower and more starting at 8pm local time on Thursday and Friday night. Interscope Records has teamed up with a platform called LANDMRK to create a mobile experience. The platform contains a custom branded map containing 500 hotspots that superfan BLINKs can physically access to unlock exclusive digital content from the band. To complement the LIGHT UP THE PINK physical activation and celebrate the release of ‘Pink Venom’, the locations of the landmarks and billboards will be highlighted on a digital map as the structures are lit up. The experience is available in both English and Korean and accessible here.

Anticipation has been building for “Pink Venom” since BLACKPINK shared a series of visual teasers and a poster, which finds the K-pop icons staring through a pane of broken glass. The record will be followed by the arrival of BLACKPINK’s 2nd full album, BORN PINK, on September 16. Pre-order HERE. After that, the most popular girl group on the planet will hit the road on a world tour predicted to be attended by more than 1.5 million people. It kicks off in Seoul, South Korea, on October 15th and then visits the United States, Saudi Arabia, and Singapore, among others, before landing in New Zealand on June 21, 2023. A full list of dates is linked HERE and listed below.

After releasing global hits like “How You Like That” and their collaboration with Selena Gomez, “Ice Cream,” BLACKPINK released THE ALBUM in 2020 to universal acclaim. The captivating project debuted at #2 on both the U.S. Billboard 200 and UK Official Chart, and sold more than 1.4 million copies worldwide, making BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group to sell over a million units. With “Pink Venom” and BORN PINK, they are set to rewrite the record books all over again.

ne of the most massively successful K-pop groups in music history, BLACKPINK have redefined the global pop landscape since first bursting onto the scene in 2016. Along with boasting the #1 most-subscribed artist channel on YouTube, the South Korean quartet has achieved such boundary-defying milestones as scoring the highest-charting album by a female group in over a decade and becoming the first K-pop girl group ever to perform at Coachella (the largest music festival in the U.S.). Comprised of JISOO, JENNIE, ROSÉ and LISA—all immensely charismatic vocalists, dancers, and fast-rising fashion icons—BLACKPINK began their meteoric rise with their 2016 debut “SQUARE ONE” and further proved their crossover power with “SQUARE UP” (a 2018 release that quickly cracked the Billboard 200).

Soon after signing with Interscope Records through a global partnership with YG Entertainment, the group made their full-length debut with 2020’s immediately iconic THE ALBUM. THE ALBUM shot to #2 on the Billboard 200 and landed three singles on the Billboard Hot 100: “How You Like That” (the iconic single that shattered several YouTube records, including fastest video to cross 150 million views), “Ice Cream” (a collaboration with Selena Gomez that broke the record for highest-charting female K-pop group on the Hot 100), and “Lovesick Girls” (a track that’s sold over 1.4 million copies worldwide, making BLACKPINK the first K-pop girl group to sell over a million units). Through the years, BLACKPINK have also garnered a number of major awards (including an MTV Video Music Award for Song of the Summer as well as three E! People’s Choice Awards), collaborated with superstars like Dua Lipa and Lady Gaga, performed on “The Tonight Show,” and starred in BLACKPINK: Light Up the Sky (a 2020 film hailed by the New York Times as an “endearing documentary that emphasizes each member’s individuality”). With over 6.3 billion career Spotify streams to date, BLACKPINK are now set to deliver their wildly anticipated sophomore album BORN PINK (due out September 16). Less than a month after BORN PINK arrives, the group will hit the road for their 2022/2023 world tour kicking off on October 15 in Seoul, South Korea.
