Styled in partnership with Julianna Vargas and Venetia Kidd, Atiana is captured by introducing a few of pre-fall’s biggest shoe trends: the Fisherman Sandal, Western Inspired Boots, Classic Sneakers, and Lug Sole shoes. The looks from the campaign include DSW’s owned brand Mix No.6, giving its take on the Fisherman Sandal trend with clear wide leather straps and block heels for a slight gladiator feel paired with fishnet socks. The other looks include the star styled in classic Dr. Martens with ruffled socks for a fresh fall vibe, in addition to boots from Steve Madden and sneakers from Converse showcasing versatility when dressing for Fall, Back-to-School, and beyond.

DSW’s fall season kicked off on July 7th at DSW and all 500 store locations. Styles worn by Atiana are all under $200 and range in price from $35 to $160.

Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby poster

LIL BABY UNTRAPPED

The feature-length documentary made its world premiere at the Tribeca Festival last month and was followed by a performance from Lil Baby.

Grammy-winning rapper Lil Baby has been one of the world’s most impactful artists since his first release in 2017. Untrapped tells his story and details his meteoric rise to become the most dominant name in the rap game. While still a teenager, Baby—known to friends and family as Dominique Armani Jones—was one of the most notorious figures in the streets of West Atlanta, before he was arrested and sent to prison. After his release in 2016, he faced a hard choice: Return to the fast money of the streets, or take a chance that his charisma and untested talent could bring him success as a rapper. In 2020, his second album, My Turn, was the year’s top seller across all genres of music. Today, Lil Baby is a devoted father to his two young boys and a powerful voice in the fight for racial justice and police reform. Untrapped: The Story of Lil Baby chronicles the astonishing rise of a singular artist and activist, and explores the systemic oppression that keeps far too many people of color from participating in the American Dream.

“I’m blessed to be able to tell my story and have people care to hear it,” said Dominique “Lil Baby” Jones. “This film is a real look into my journey, and if it inspires even one person to believe that they can get through hard stuff and dare to follow a dream, then it was worth every penny spent and hour worked. My story is many people’s story and I’m excited to share it.”

“This project has been in the works for several years now, during some of the most difficult times our country has faced,” said director Karam Gill. “I couldn’t be prouder of the entire filmmaking team and the continued collaboration between Quality Films and MGX Creative to create another meaningful project that sheds light on larger societal issues. Lil Baby is someone who truly defied the odds, and I hope his story can bring positivity into our world.”

“With this documentary, we got to highlight the obstacles and all the deep work that had to happen to get to where Lil Baby is now,” said producer Pierre “P” Thomas. “This raw footage is a powerful way to see that and to see the negatives that were turned to positives. People will be beyond inspired.”

“Baby, like so many in this country, went through so many obstacles that could have thrown him into many bad places in life. To watch him come through to such a positive side is essential for people to see,” said producer Kevin “Coach K” Lee. “This documentary has the ability to change lives if viewers can believe just like he did.”

Pantha du Prince new album Cover art for Garden Gaia.

PANTHAS GARDEN GAIA

Pantha du Prince has announced the release of his new album Garden Gaia

Garden Gaia is the latest chapter in a project that has been ten years in the making, which presents the artist, Hendrik Weber aka Pantha du Prince, as a close observer and mindful listener. It adds a new, forward-looking perspective to Pantha du Prince’s work, which began in 2004 with Diamond Daze, his first album, and found his way with the critically acclaimed masterpiece Black Noise and his first collaborative album The Bell Laboratory.

The new album, Garden Gaia will be released August 26, 2022, on CD / LP / Digital and features the first single “Golden Galactic” out now, with a video by Natalia Stuyk, a video and installation artist based in Granada, Spain.

Like Conference of Trees (his first album on Modern Recordings, 2020), Garden Gaiaisan artistic exploration of nature. An investigation with the means of music about the earth as a vision of a perfectly functioning garden. Reflection on nature has been the overarching theme of Pantha du Prince’s music and an integral part of his musical research.

To the same extent, nature is not only a place of longing for more and more people who see it as an alternative to the weariness of meaningless eternal commercial progress, the concern for the earth as a place of the future is also the central social and cultural discourse in society.

“There are scientists who say that we humans are the ocean that’s been folded together. My music is about raising consciousness, about describing the reality of life and the lost paradise through the means of music. It’s about entering a free space and developing a maximum degree of openness and sensitivity to our bodies – to our mental states and the atmosphere that surrounds us. It’s about mindfulness and a high level of awareness towards what’s happening around and within us,” says Pantha du Prince. “I’ve poured all of these experiences into Garden Gaia as music. And that’s to be taken in the literal sense of ‘pouring,’ since we belong to a flowing process on this planet. A tree also flows into the air, just as it’s connected to other trees beneath the ground through currents of communication. Our lungs flow into our bodies. And as embryos, we were flowing beings. The question is: to what extent can we adult humans continue to flow?”

That said, Pantha du Prince doesn’t make music as a provocation. His tracks are founded upon the principle of empathy and the willingness to change the system within us. It’s not about limitless growth or accumulation or overexploiting resources (including our own) but about a productive emergence as an individual in the current of the world.

In “Golden Galactic,” the album’s first single, Pantha du Prince delineates a golden shimmer that’s like a primordial substance for life – the desire to live: “I recorded ‘Golden Galactic’ during a really special moment. I was awake and this golden shimmer slipped through my fingers and turned into sound. I kept playing and playing on a synthesizer while listening to myself play. Then I listened to this music with Friedrich Paravicini. Afterward, he composed strings for it – it’s like a musical dialogue.”

For the nine new tracks on Garden Gaia, Pantha du Prince has again expanded his musical vocabulary of electroacoustic expression in a creative process that is extremely collaborative. None of the tracks on Garden Gaia were recorded with the exact same lineup: He collaborated with different musicians in different locations on every track. That Garden Gaia is such an incredibly homogenous album despite the diversity has to do with the fact that Pantha du Prince has, to some extent, seeing himself as an observer of what was created with others before his very own eyes. He just let a lot of things happen – as if he were watching a garden grow. If we follow this idea even further, then this garden is none other than the Garden of Eden, and the planet Earth is a manifestation of paradise.

Marvel New Era X-Men Hellfire Gala via Marvel for use by 360 MAGAZINE

MARVEL – HELLFIRE GALA

Today’s X-MEN: HELLFIRE GALA #1 laid the groundwork for the next era of X-Men storytelling! Written by Gerry Duggan and drawn by Kris Anka, Russell Dauterman, Matteo Lolli, and C.F. Villa, the giant-sized one-shot was packed with surprises including a vicious attack by former X-Men ally Moira MacTaggert and the world’s devastating response to mutant resurrection, two exciting developments that will lead directly into the upcoming crossover event, A.X.E.: JUDGMENT DAY! But amidst the drama also came the long-awaited reveal of the new X-Men lineup!

The winner of the second annual X-Men Vote, which garnered a passionate wave of votes from fans earlier this year, was Firestar! The fiery super hero hasn’t always had the best relationship with her fellow mutants and is sure to shake things up as Gerry Duggan’s X-MEN title enters its second year. Also joining the roster alongside remaining members Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Synch will be Iceman, Havok, Forge, and Magik. With the Eternals waging war against mutantkind, the new lineup will jump right into action in next month’s X-MEN #13, an A.X.E.: JUDGMENT DAY tie-in issue. Featuring a grand-scale battle against the Hex, newly-awakened and mega-powerful Eternals, X-MEN #13 will be drawn by artist C.F. Villa (Black Cat) who comes aboard as the series’ new rotating main artist alongside fellow superstar Joshua Cassara (X-Force).

“Firestar didn’t see the X-Men coming but I’m thrilled that she’s here because commencing with X-Men: Hellfire Gala # 1 and moving on, her story is exactly what the X-Men will need this year,” Duggan said about Firestar’s victory. “If your favorite didn’t win — don’t despair. Every character mentioned is a page from the handbook on the way up. Hope you enjoy year two. Viva Krakoa!”

Right now, fans can check out two newly revealed X-MEN #13 covers: a special design variant featuring Firestar’s new costume by artist Pepe Larraz and the first of Russell Dauterman’s new trading card variant covers that will highlight the team’s new members.

Be there for the new team’s incredible first outing when X-MEN #13 arrives on August 17! For more information, visit HERE.

MUST-SEE EXHIBITS AND INSTALLATIONS

Experience Gallery (on display now)

With inspiring stories from riders who have turned their dream of learning to ride into reality, a look at the epic journeys you can only experience behind the bars of a Harley-Davidson® motorcycle, plus the chance to throw a leg over a new Harley-Davidson #FreedomMachine, the reinstalled and all-new Experience Gallery shows the world how United We Ride!

1977 FLH “Blackula” (on display beginning May 13)

Milwaukee man about town Freddie Franklin purchased his Electra Glide® motorcycle from its original owner, 95-year-old Wallace Brzezinski, with only 4,500 miles on its odometer. And in short order, he completely re-envisioned the bike to reflect his timeless style. The motorcycle incorporates some hallmarks of Franklin’s disparate tastes. A dash of the Coney Island-style bikes – decked out with lights and reflectors – he adored mixed in with elements of Willie G.’s seminal Knucklehead and topped off with details that harken to the 1970s blaxploitation films Franklin watched back in the day. A clear statement of Black pride via the language of vintage motorcycles, this is a bike you must see in-person.

Keith Brammer (Die Kreuzen) leather jacket (on display now)

Perhaps no other genre of music is so closely associated with the classic black leather jacket than punk rock. Keith Brammer, of Milwaukee’s hardcore punk band Die Kreuzen, has graciously lent his well-worn leather to the H-D Museum. The jacket was purchased in New York City in the 1980s and was a constant companion for Brammer throughout his touring days. Check out the Custom Culture gallery to view this piece of Milwaukee music history.

Revolution® Max Engine (on display now)

The brand-new Revolution® Max 1250cc engine powers a new generation of Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. See the liquid-cooled, 60-degree V-Twin that delivers for the Pan America™ adventure touring model and the performance cruiser Sportster® S motorcycle. On view in the Museum lobby.

Clubs & Competition (on display now)

In the early part of the 20th century, motorcycle culture was a homegrown phenomenon. It grew out of the passion of riders for their evolving sport. The camaraderie that developed around riding and attending competitive events led to the formation of motorcycle clubs that hosted destination rides, family picnics with motorcycle games and other riding competitions.

The newly reinstalled display case in the Clubs & Competition gallery highlights clothing from club members from primarily the 1930s and 1940s. The clothing selections on view include full dress uniforms, shirts, sweaters, jackets and caps, customized by the owners with their club’s name and logo, and pins or patches indicating membership in the American Motorcyclist Association. The H-D Archives collection includes Motorclothes® apparel sold in H-D® product catalogs but also non-H-D produced clothing items that have been proudly customized by riders.

Harley Fox (on display now) Gail Anderson’s 1986 Softail® Custom motorcycle, “Harley Fox,” built by her partner Bob Burrows, took top prize at the first Ladies of Harley® (LOH) ride-in show during Daytona Beach Bike Week in 1987. With her custom bike and themed riding gear, Anderson presented a striking image that fit the growing visibility and exciting new options for women riders in the 1980s.

Alfonso Sotomayor’s 1957 Model FL (on display now)

The Harley-Davidson Museum is proud to announce its collection has recently grown with the addition of a 1957 Model FL that was ridden by famed Mexican stunt rider and racer Alfonso Sotomayor Canales.

Harley-Davidson’s history in Mexico dates back to at least 1913. In the 1920s, the brand was more frequently spotted throughout Mexico City as the motorcycles proved popular with the local traffic police who would also perform stunts with their Harley-Davidson® bikes. After racing from the 1930s into the 1960s, Sotomayor launched his own stunt riding career by performing the famed “Salto de la Muerte” or Jump of Death. Learn more about Sotomayor’s feats of derring-do and Harley-Davidson’s early entry into Mexico with this new display located in the Custom Culture area.

“Off-Road Harley-Davidson” (on display now)

In the decades before America paved its highways, early riders had to be prepared for all sorts of terrain: sand, clay or dirt – and wandering those makeshift byways were Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. Today, it’s called off-road or adventure touring; back then it was just called riding. Since 1903, Harley-Davidson® motorcycles proved their toughness by riding over wooded hills, through stone-choked creek beds and up mountain sides. “Off-Road Harley-Davidson” tells the history of motorcycles designed for rough roads, the people who rode them and the adventures they shared.

“Building a Milwaukee Icon: Harley-Davidson’s Juneau Avenue Factory” (on display now)

A recently recovered cache of architectural drawings includes plans for the original Juneau Avenue facility. The pencil drawings, along with archival photographs, demonstrate the whirlwind pace of the company’s early growth. While building an international business—going from producing just over 1,000 motorcycles in 1909 to manufacturing 27,000 motorcycles in 1920—the company’s Milwaukee factory experienced near-constant expansion. Construction through this relatively brief period created the buildings that today, a century later, are still the proud home of Harley-Davidson.

“Building a Milwaukee Icon” provides a snapshot of Harley-Davidson’s formative years and illustrates a chapter of Milwaukee history when the city was known as the “Machine Shop to the World.”

Google Arts & Culture, Bring a 1919 Window Display to Life (on display now)

DEBUT OF THE HORIZON STAGE

Bethel Woods Center for the Arts, a nonprofit cultural organization located at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival, unveiled The Horizon Stage,” a new showcase for up-and-coming artists.

The pop-up stage located just beyond the main gates serves as a place for emerging artists from a variety of mediums to display their talents prior to Pavilion concerts. Access to the Horizon Stage is included with Pavilion concert admission and typically start 90 minutes before show time.

“Not every performer at Woodstock was a household name in 1969,” said Eric Frances, CEO of Bethel Woods Center for the Arts. “Having the opportunity to play the festival launched the careers of many musicians. It’s in our DNA to support the next generation of artists, and what better way to get eyes and ears on talent than giving them a stage with thousands of people passing by.”

“We’re so honored to perform on the Horizon Stage in its inaugural year at Bethel Woods,” said Hudson Valley-based indie folk group The Heartstrings Project, who kicked the program off Memorial Day weekend. “There is no place more special to play live music than at the historic site of the 1969 Woodstock festival!”

Performers so far have also included The Pearl River School of Irish Music, the Bergkamp Brothers, and a lineup of rising comedians. Country artist Claudia Hoyser, singer-songwriter Paul Freeman, art rock band Guerilla Toss, among others, will all take the stage as the season progresses.

The Horizon Stage is presented by Prager Metis with support from TAKE FIVE Hard Seltzer, 1969 Woodstock alumnus Steve Alexander and Peace of Stage. For more information, visit HERE.

Marc Spector is currently baring his very soul as he tackles his most hard-hitting missions to date in writer Jed MacKay’s current run on MOON KNIGHT. With new villains and fresh takes on the Moon Knight mythology, the title has been a hit with fans, and this October, readers will be treated to even more revolutionary Moon Knight action in the run’s first annual. A double-sized spectacular, MOON KNIGHT ANNUAL #1 will feature art by Federico Sabbatini, the artist behind select issues of MOON KNIGHT as well as the recent DEVIL’S REIGN: MOON KNIGHT one-shot. The story will feature a bloody reunion between Moon Knight and an iconic Marvel Comics character whom he shares deep roots with—Jack Russell, the Werewolf by Night!

In the Darkhold, there is a prophecy of how a god might die. Jack Russell, more familiar with that cursed tome than most, would like very much to kill a god and save his people, the people bound in servitude to the moon. But to fulfill that prophecy requires the blood of the Fist of Khonshu, and Moon Knight doesn’t bleed easily.

“It’s been great seeing people respond to our MOON KNIGHT series, and it’s always a bit of a thrill to give folks even more- and MOON KNIGHT ANNUAL #1 was the place to revisit some old history,” MacKay explained. “Moon Knight has changed a lot since he first did battle with the Werewolf by Night, but so has Jack Russell, and having the opportunity to see how these two interact now, all these years later, has been a lot of fun. And Jack isn’t the only player in Moon Knight’s history who is turning up when Federico Sabbatini joins us for another adventure (and draws the hell out of it, I must add).”
