From the producers of Eurovision Song Contest and The Voice, American Song Contest brings the musical phenomenon to America. The all-live series will premiere on Monday, March 21 from 8-10 p.m. ET/PT from the NBCUniversal lot.

The series will run for eight weeks on Monday nights with the Grand Final scheduled for May 9.

Clarkson added, “I have been a fan and love the concept of Eurovision and am thrilled to bring the musical phenomenon to America. I’m so excited to work with Snoop and can’t wait to see every state and territory represented by artists singing their own songs.”

Based on the worldwide phenomenon Eurovision Song Contest, organized for 65 years by the European Broadcasting Union and watched by 200 million viewers annually, this amazing musical spectacular combines the competitive spirit of rooting for your favorite sports team with the joy of watching a live performance of an original song.

American Song Contest will feature live new music performances–representing all 50 states, five U.S. territories and our nation’s capital–competing to win the country’s vote for the best hit song. An incredible solo artist, duo or a band will represent each location and perform a new original song, celebrating the depth and variety of different styles and genres across America. The live competition consists of three rounds as the artists compete in a series of Qualifying Rounds, followed by the Semi-Finals and the ultimate Grand Final where one state or territory will emerge victorious.

Critically acclaimed designer duo Wolk Morais unveilled their new Cashmere Collection. Inspired by the silver screen, the cornerstone of the collection is a unisex double-faced cashmere, hand-stitched “On Set Coat,” the designer’s homage to the glamour of Hollywood.

The collection marks the photographic debut of designer Brian Wolk and was shot at a historically preserved modernist home in Los Angeles.”Los Angeles has been the lead character for our creative journey thus far,” Brian Wolk and Claude Morais said. The Cashmere collection has given us an opportunity to reach a large group of our clients, both men and women who are excited about everyday luxury that is multi-season, non-gender specific, and inspired by the relaxed attitude of California Living.

Mr. Wolk and M. Morais, with longtime collaborating stylist Elizabeth Stewart, were inspired by Hollywood’s tradition of relaxed on-set tailoring. How to Recover Data from the Hard Drive of a Dead Laptop

Data recovery is the process of salvaging personal files from a damaged, failing or inaccessible computer hard drive. It’s important to remember that not all data can be recovered—data recovery software cannot bring back information once it has been lost forever. However, suppose you have recently backed up your data and do not need these files immediately for fear they may become corrupted again in the future (i.e., family photos on an external hard drive). In that case, recovering them might still be worthwhile.

If your laptop hard drive fails, you don’t have to worry. There are many ways that data can be recovered from a dead laptop’s hard drive depending on the cause of the failure or how long ago it was damaged. You need to take precautions before trying any recovery methods to avoid damaging your PC further and make matters worse by overwriting valuable data with new files. Most of the information will still be intact if you’re lucky, but if too much time has passed past, there is less likelihood of finding anything at all.

What should you do if your laptop crashes?

If your laptop crashes, you should immediately shut it down and unplug it from the outlet. If possible, you should also remove the battery before doing so, as the laptop may try to turn itself back on by accident.

You may have a few options for recovering data from a crashed computer, but they all involve using specialized software and hardware unavailable to the average user. If your data cannot be recovered with these methods, you will need to contact an external hard drive recovery service or ask a friend or family member to recover your files to retrieve them.

One of the most important things you can do is try and save any data on your external hard drive before unplugging it. This will ensure that you have a copy of your data if it is necessary to replace the hard drive.

Can data be recovered from the dead laptop?

In the case of a sudden failure, a good way to recover the data is to connect the hard drive to another computer and try and use the Recovery software that came with it. This software can be found on your old laptop’s operating system CD. If this doesn’t work, you can try using a different software compatible with your computer hardware but make sure you have an adequate backup plan first.

If you have backed-up all of your data, there are two other options:

The data recovery service process is not as difficult as it sounds, but it can be very time-consuming. The first step is to remove the hard drive from the laptop and place it in a safe place. Once this is done, you will need to connect the hard drive to your PC through an external USB interface or even a card reader. If you are using a card reader, make sure that the card reader is compatible with your computer’s operating system and format the card before you begin.

Next, you will need to download data recovery software that can help recover your lost data from the hard drive. There are many different software brands on the market, so be sure to read reviews before selecting one.

What you should know about recovering data from the hard drive of a dead laptop

You might think that all is lost when your laptop dies. But there are many simple steps you can take to recover all the data from the hard drive of a dead laptop.

First, you’ll want to find out if your data is retrievable. There are a few things more difficult than restoring data from a crashed computer if it’s not. You can do this by using software designed for this purpose or using an external hard drive with the same operating system as your dead laptop.

Next, you’ll need to copy any data you want to save onto an external device like an external hard drive. It doesn’t matter whether it’s music files, photos, or documents; anything saved on your old laptop will be transferred over.

Finally, you’ll erase everything else on your old computer and erase the data on its hard drive. This will make it easier for someone else to get new information onto their machine because they’ll have less work to do when they get their hands on the device.

The Bourbon Room Hollywood

The Bourbon Room Hollywood is set to officially reopen this Saturday, Feb. 5 as Hollywood’s hottest new live music, entertainment, and dining destination, debuting two new rock supergroups and a lineup of the best in rock n’ roll tribute acts in the country. Kicked off by the global sensation Rock of Ages, The Bourbon Room brings the best in live music, nightlife, comedy, and theater to Hollywood with the same edgy, rock and roll attitude that built The Sunset Strip. If Joe’s Pub and The Troubadour had a baby, it would be The Bourbon Room.

Originally built for the hit musical Rock of Ages in July of 2019, The Bourbon Room was also home to a 10-week, sold-out run of Tarantino Live in partnership with For the Record. The venue was off to a great start until July of 2020 when Covid hit and Rock of Ages tragically lost the lead star, Nick Cordero after complications from Covid, and everything came to a screeching halt.

“After the loss of our talented, dear friend Nick, and being denied financial assistance from Save our Stages, and repeated shutdowns; it has been an uphill battle,” said Matthew Weaver, Owner of The Bourbon Room Hollywood. “Although the pandemic has been devastating, we used the opportunity to remodel and rebrand; and are ready to present locals and tourists with the ultimate live music and culinary entertainment experience.”

This stunning 8,000 square-foot entertainment venue is unlike any other venue in Los Angeles paying tribute to The Sunset Strip and bringing together the best in rock n’ roll music, great food, live entertainment, and craft cocktails. Overlooking the iconic Hollywood Walk of Fame, The Bourbon Room is a gateway to a 200-seat custom theater, flooded with neon lights and signs from iconic clubs that made The Sunset Strip. It features a million-dollar, state-of-the-art sound and lighting system and cutting-edge production for the ultimate live music experience. The walls display guitars and platinum records with zebra print carpet, paying further homage to The Sunset Strip.

The February entertainment line-up starts on Saturday, Feb. 5, with Travis Haley (Lexxi Foxx), the ex-bassist from Steel Panther with the LA debut of Hollywood Gods N’ Monsters (HGNM)—”the biggest smash-up band in the world.” The band features Travis along with singer Dave “Diggity Dave” Aragon (“Pimp My Ride”), rapper HYPE, singer Kris “7even” Aragon, drummer Daniel Adam Parker, and guitarist Brian Jennings. HGNM smashes together the songs every generation has grown up with, mixing songs of the ’70s bands Chic with Queen, Aerosmith, The Sugarhill Gang, Blondie, and DMX.

Starting Wednesday, Feb. 23, Gilby Clarke (Guns N’ Roses) debuts his new band The Keef Richards with a weekly Wednesday residency. The supergroup features Kenny Arnoff (Smashing Pumpkins, Chickenfoot, etc), Teddy Zig Zag (Guns N’ Roses, Alice Cooper) and Sean McNabb (Dokken) along with different big named special guests weekly. Early arrival is recommended. You never know who is going to show up!

Other confirmed shows include Spazmatics on Feb. 18; Pettybreakers on Feb. 20; English Beat on March 4 & 5; The Dan Band on March 18; and Punk Rock Karaoke on February 25th featuring an amazing line up of punk rockers including Greg Hetson (Bad Religion, Circle Jerks) Stan Lee (The Dickies), Randy Bradbury (Pennywise), and Darrin Pfeiffer (Goldfinger, Sum 41).

The venue will also introduce new residencies such as Broadway at The Bourbon Room, a brand new monthly musical cabaret celebrating the songs, stories, and stars of Broadway. Guests can sing along to their favorite songs, discover new talent, and hear stories from artists’ time spent on and off the stage.

Designed by BUILT Inc., the same team behind popular LA venues such as Guy’s Bar, Trousdale, The Nice Guy, The Peppermint Club, and Pink Taco, The Bourbon Room is by far one of the sexiest venues in Hollywood. Upon entering, you head through a nondescript set of wrought iron doors and up a set of stairs before being greeted by an edgy, full-service speakeasy cocktail lounge adorned with exposed brick walls, HD TVs, swanky chesterfield sofas, and a leopard print stage. The Lounge is the perfect place to sip cocktails and enjoy a bite before the show.

The menu features upscale comfort and bar food from Executive Chef Frankie Guerrero, craft cocktails, and a large selection of fine wine. Chef Frankie brings years of culinary experience with a focus on bar and comfort food. He has worked at some of Los Angeles’s most notable popups and restaurants supporting high-profile chefs like Tim Hollingsworth at Field LA and Free Play, Ludo Lefebvre at Trois Familia, and Ludo Bird and at Neal Fraser’s Fritzi Coop, later morphing into Arts District Brewery. His most recent project was supporting B.J. Novak‘s pop-up restaurant Chain for Tim Hollingsworth.

Some of Chef Frankie’s signature items on The Bourbon Room menu include Frankie’s flavorful Buttermilk Fried Chicken Sandwich that is brined and served with an in-house spread of slow-roasted garlic confit, olive oil, and herbs and The Bourbon Room Cheeseburger built with a mixture of Snake River Farms Wagyu beef and brisket on a potato bun.

Kendy X × Dreamdoll × Kalan.FrFr – For Me

Rising Westcoast R&B artist Kendy X sets her mark with today’s remix release of “For Me” with Bronx-born rapper Dreamdoll and Los Angeles’ own Kalan.FrFr. Available to stream and purchase now, the trifecta forces unleash an irresistible remix to Kendy X’s debut single, which was met with praise last year upon immediate release.

Kendy X shares “For Me is the most important song on the EP, because it shows the transformation into a bad bitch.” She continues with, “The whole project is about finding yourself and becoming the woman you are meant to be and not changing for anybody. On For Me, I’m saying, this is for me. I can get shit on my own. I can do whatever I want to do. It’s meant to empower women. I’ve been listening to Kalan.FrFr since high school, so it was a dream to do a song with him. DreamDoll is such a powerful woman who demands respect. She embodies the spirit of the song.”

A soon-to-be expert with weaving elements of R&B, Hip Hop, and New-Age Pop with her forthcoming body of work, “For Me” Remix serves as a savory exemplification for the gleaming rising star as she prepares to keep the momentum at a staggering high this year.

Last year, in addition to setting the tone with her single “For Me,” Kendy X swiftly made a lasting mark with her strides as a co-founder of The Rose Fest Music Festival. Kendy X and a team of creatives, including her sister Ry Dope and creative director Phillip Riian created a platform for emerging musicians to showcase their bubbling stardom on a major platform stage with appeal compared to music festivals alike. The inaugural festival, which took place in Orange County, California, received national attention for the powerful initiative that also called on established artists such as Mozzy, Eric Bellinger, Rubi Rose, Day Sulan, Stunna Girl, and more to headline the joyous event. Kendy X made her eagerly awaited debut performance at The Rose Fest Music Festival, where she performed “For Me” along with an array of soon-to-be-released music that is set to make up her official debut project that is currently on the horizon.

About Kendy X

Kendy X gained her grind mentality from a childhood dedicated to gymnastics and now she applies it to music with her own scorching and sizzling brand of R&B. The Chicago-born and Long Beach-raised singer,  and songwriter hustles with the heart of an athlete as she simultaneously projects a fresh and fiery presence across the culture.

Kendy X’s vision begins to unfold on her 2022 independent debut project and much more to come. “Even though gymnastics and music are completely different, gymnastics taught me work ethic and how to perform in front of people,” she affirms. “The dedication helped me in the long run. I learned how to put all of my effort into what I want to do—and just do it.”

She devoted the first eighteen years of life to gymnastics, until torn ligaments in her knee derailed an ambition to compete in The Olympics. Along the way, she picked up cello and piano in middle school and always wrote songs of her own. Inspired by her older sister Ry Dope, she penned her first tune at just six-years-old. Meanwhile, her dad played multiple instruments, specializing in guitar and songwriting and enjoying local success back in Chicago.

Despite its influence on the periphery of her life, she fully embraced music in 2019.

“After I stopped training, music came in,” she admits. “I found my new passion to focus on. It always got me through difficult times. This moment was no exception.”

From that point forward, she went full steam ahead throughout 2021. Kendy X hit the studio and recorded what would become her soon to be released EP. Produced by Ayo & Keyz [Cardi B, Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller], the first single “For Me” served as a slick and sexy introduction to her signature style. As the original version generated over 1 million total streams, Kalan.FrFr and DreamDoll stunted on the Remix with surefire star power.

In the end, Kendy X has become just what she was always meant to be—a force of nature.

12AM × Tyla Yaweh × Pressa – Showgirls

LA-by-way-of-Toronto artist on the rise 12AM (aka Matthew Dubois) bursts into 2022 with a bang, linking up with Tyla Yaweh and Pressa for new heat “Showgirls” out now via Sony Music Entertainment Canada.

12AM revealed the official video directed by Logan Meis (Trippie Redd, Dax, The Kid Laroi, Polo G). It’s a high contrast, moody, and cinematic experience in itself. “Showgirls” peeks into a late-night burlesque show gone awry. The night manifests into a master scheme of kidnapping, robbery, and murder. While corrupt wealthy men put their guard down for some debauchery, they’re clipped of their wallets and prized possessions. The lights go off and the show concludes, leaving the club patrons in the dust. In the end, 12AM (aka the club owner) and the showgirls meet Tyla and Pressa (12AM and the showgirls’ partners in crime) at the hideout. Watch now HERE.

The single follows the success of “come over,” the lead track from 12AM‘s latest After Midnight EP that has amassed over 5 million streams. While After Midnight served as a redefinition of 12AM’s sound, “Showgirls” takes 12AM back to his Toronto roots incorporating melodic R&B that is distinct to the 6. Additionally, with 12AM boasting over 26 million streams on Spotify alone, plus Tyla and Pressa’s combined 5.5 million monthly listeners on the platform, “Showgirls” is set to become an instant hit and reach an array of hip-hop, pop, and R&B lovers.

12AM states, “Tyla and I were working on his album in his crib for like 2 weeks straight. I was basically living there and I played him music I was working on. When he heard the hook on Showgirls, he instantly hopped on it. There were a ton of people over and everyone was going crazy over it. Then a year later, I was in the studio with Pressa. Same story, he heard the song and instantly hopped on it too, so we knew we had one when everybody had the same reaction like “this is a hit.'” On his upcoming music, 12AM adds, “I wanted to treat my upcoming album like a full body of work, no fillers, just the best music possible. I’m spending time creating an experience and a world through the next record.”

The future looks incredibly bright and 12AM’s repertoire is only at its inception. Prolific in his dexterity, 12AM is consistently writing for other artists as well as himself. He can be seen frequently working with Elijah Woods and Omer Fedi (Kid Laroi “Without You,” 24kGoldn & Iann Dior “Mood,” and Lil Nas X “Montero”), and on After Midnight he collaborated with TheHxliday on “Voices.” Touring accolades include shows with Internet Money, Iann Dior, Jez Dior, 24kGoldn, Jutes, Trevor Daniel, and Souly Had. No stranger to media coverage and acclaim from tastemakers, praise has rolled in from industry key players such as Complex, Elevator Mag, idolator, Lyrical Lemonade, and Vice’s Noisey. 12AM also appears on Spotify’s coveted ‘New Music Friday’ and ‘tear drop’ playlists, as well as Post Malone’s ‘posty’s playlist.’

Reflecting on his work, 12AM says, “My main focus is just to help people. That’s why I make music. When I get messages from fans saying I’ve helped them through depression or whatever they are going through it means the world to me, I can’t really believe it. That’s what I do this for. Whenever I play a show and fans are singing the lyrics back and when they meet me after the show, I just want to have a positive impact and be there for them, because they are all that matters in this music industry.”
