Romantic restaurant in the Big Apple

Do you want to take a special person out for dinner and look for an exquisite place? There are nights where you just want to grab food to eat or order something simple. On other nights – like when you are taking someone on a date, celebrating a special occasion like your anniversary, or just planning a surprise – we all need to go out for that. Here’s a guide for the best food hotspots when it comes to inspiration, romance and dining. These will guarantee an unforgettable night you won’t forget so fast!

Gage & Tollner is known as one of Brooklyn’s most iconic and beautiful places in the roaring 20s. Twirl through the revolving door along with the gilded and old-school dining room. On the left, there is a stylish bar with heavy wood and lilting marble. Straight on, circular tables, crimson velveteen booths, and a music box. The atmosphere is plush and cosy suffused with hues in golden tones.

The menu looks classy and promising with a diverse collection of raw bar dishes, seafood, steak, and chops. The desserts also fit perfectly with the whole menu. You will find classics like apple pie, tarts, cheesecake, and malted milk and dark chocolate torte also baked Alaska on it. It’s recommended to make reservations in advance. This restaurant is unique and speaks for itself. Let’s get back to the golden 20s! It’s a vibe.

Another one is the Italian cuisine restaurant Marea which is located near Central Park South. The cuisine is specialized in fish and shellfish. It’s all about the preparation and quality of ingredients. There are not many restaurants in New York that offer Crudo, which is raw fish with some seasoning and condiments, similar to tartare. The exclusive restaurant is known for its wild and adventurous combinations with burrata cheese. The mix of seafood and cheese is normally forbidden and called “an unorthodox marriage” but in this case, it’s an inspiration and a bold move. Michael White, who is not only the owner and head chef of the Altamarea Group and other fancy restaurants, has proved himself a long time ago as one of the top talents with pasta dishes, standing out with unusual combinations and shapes. His focused seafood collection at Marea is the highlight of the meal. The dish Sedadini is just one example of it – Rigatoni with cod-chowder sauce, smoked cod, speck, and potatoes. White combines tradition with creative accents. The pasta is original and traditional, the seafood is a creative and special composition.

Looking at the desserts you can also see that it is kept classic but also eccentric. The usual Panna Cotta is modified in green apple, cinnamon gelato, and candied oats.

Visiting this restaurant will let you have memorable moments with their outstanding concept!

Exquisite, eccentric, and experimental are all adjectives that describe dinner at the Intersect NYC. The restaurant is in the Meatpacking District of New York. Intersect by Lexus is a delicious and dynamic encounter hosted in tech-forward cities. At the Intersect there is a restaurant, lounge, and event space. The atmosphere is modern and decadent. Something that stands out in the interior design is the accent wall which was designed by Japanese interior designer Masamichi Katayama. Also, there are private dining rooms for special occasions like weddings or corporate gatherings. Intersect by Lexus is a special place for people to be inspired, entertained, and educated.

The kitchen changes the dishes every six months. The intention of the new menus is to challenge and captivate visitors. Nickolas Martinez, the Executive chef, established his culinary style through French techniques and Midwestern roots. His motto is to stay true to the Lexus lifestyle by creating a feeling of home and a special dining experience.

The menu at intersect NYC is a mix of European and Midwestern cuisine.

Other locations of the Intersect by Lexus are in Tokyo and Dubai. Dubai is a city of entertainment as well. What many people don’t know is that there are no casinos in Dubai and that they are strictly prohibited. Alternatives you can find on websites such as arabianbetting where users can play games like poker. The provider offers different variants of the game as well as bonuses to enjoy. When it comes to online platforms, players are welcomed to use international websites. These don’t have offices in Arabic countries, so there’s no risk of breaking any laws. It is secure and safe. The location in Dubai fits perfectly for Intersect since the city is well-advanced in technologies and modernity. The menu is different from the one in New York and offers a wide range of crafted dishes. Offering brunch on Fridays and live music gives the atmosphere a laid-back and stylish setting. However, Intersect is a great concept that has a lot to offer in these three cities. They are all different but share the same idea and vision.

New York City is known for being a romantic and culinary city with the best restaurants, not only shown in movies but also all over the internet. It’s the most diverse and competitive city in the world. Whether you want a Michelin star menu, comfort food, or the best slice of pizza in the city, in New York you can find everything! The fact is that the best food places are shared with a special person.

Movies That Made Bongs Popular

Are you interested in the different cannabis consumption methods, particularly the bong and want to know why they became popular? Do you want to know which movies popularized the bong and why?

Bongs have been used by people all around the world for centuries, and while they may seem like simple devices, there is a lot that goes into creating a great bong smoking experience. They come in all shapes and sizes, and they can be made from a variety of materials. As Molino Glass states, modern bongs are mainly made of high-quality glass, are durable, and easy to use.

In the early 20th century, movies were seen as a form of escape from reality. In this world, anything was possible, and it was not uncommon for characters to smoke marijuana or other substances in their free time. Movies such as The Big Lebowski have been credited with popularizing bongs due to a scene where a character pulls out a bong and smokes weed while bowling.

Many other films have also contributed to the popularity of smoking cannabis through water pipes by adding them into scenes that would likely never show the use of drugs otherwise. Here are some of the movies that made bongs popular.

Extract (2009)

Extract is a 2009 film starring big names such as Jason Bateman, Kristen Wiig, Mila Kunis, and Ben Affleck to name a few. The film is about the owner of a factory that produces flavor extracts. It seems as though in his life he could have everything that he wants, but as the film goes on, we see that this is not the case.

In this film, we see that the lead character is very stressed and doesn’t know what to do. His friend encourages him to take a hit of a Bong to relieve the pressure and it all goes downhill from there. In this bong scene, Joel, the lead, takes a hit of a massive bong, after eventually being convinced that it would be a good idea. However, he knows from the beginning that it is not the best idea.

Drugs & Other Love (2016)

The next movie on our list of stoner movies that made bongs popular is Drugs & Other Love. This 2016 film sounds similar to that of the 2010 film Love and Other drugs but it is just a play on the words. The premise of this film is that an elder brother tries to keep his brother on drugs while he attempts to pursue a woman.

The film is not very popular but stars actors such as Scott Parkin, Noah Applebaum, and Julia Griswold. In this film, we see a lot of drugs and dope throughout, as the love interest is a drug dealer, and the main character is trying to win her heart.

Jackie Brown (1997)

Made in 1997, Jackie Brown is a film about a flight attendant who is caught smuggling money onto a flight and has to choose between helping the cops or keeping quiet and going to jail. This is one of the lesser-known Tarantino films and is supposedly a follow-up to the ever-popular Pulp Fiction.

In this film, the lead character lays around all day smoking pot and enjoying herself by relaxing. The scene in question is one where she is questioned about her lifestyle choices and ambition to which she replies “not if your ambition is to get high and watch TV.”

Everybody Wants Some (2016)

The next stoner film on our list of films that made bongs popular is Everybody Wants Some which is a film that was recently released in 2016. This film is about a college athlete who moves into a communal house with his teammates. This film follows their ups and downs of growing up on their own, unsupervised.

This film stars actors such as Blake Jenner, Tyler Hoechlin, Glen Powell, and Zoey Deutch. A signature moment of this film is when the lead character is sitting in a room with the other boys, he successfully manages to take one of the most impressive bong rips without so much as flinching or even coughing.

True Romance (1993)

Last but not least we have the 1993 film True Romance. This film stars actors such as Patricia Arquette, Christian Slater, and Gary Oldman. In short, this film is about a nerd who loves comic books and a prostitute who falls in love. The prostitute tells her pimp about this and proceeds to kill him.

On the way out he grabs a bag thinking it was clothing, but it ends up being cocaine. The premise of the film is that they go home to sell the cocaine when they reach California. This film is full of drugs and some of the most important scenes contain bongs.

Highest paid MMA fighters of all time

Over the past few years, such a sport as MMA has gained popularity. Mixed martial arts is a sport that combines the techniques of boxing, jiu-jitsu, kickboxing, muay thai, karate, wrestling, and other martial arts. The sport is still banned in some countries, such as France and Norway.

But despite this, MMA fights managed to gain great popularity in many countries – in the USA, Japan, Russia, and others. The most popular MMA fighters have a huge following around the world and make good money. In this review, we present a ranking of the highest-paid MMA wrestlers in history.

The Chinese edition of the South China Morning Post has published a list of the highest-paid MMA fighters, which includes athletes whose names are known not only to fans of this sport but also to ordinary people. More information about UFC career, UFC fights, and richest MMA fighter rating can be found on superbetting.

Conor McGregor

In the first place on this list is the Irish mixed fighter, Conor McGregor. He is the richest athlete in the history of the sport. Because the spotter is popular, he earns his income not only from fights but also from advertising contracts with well-known brands. However, the main income is still made up of performances in the ring. The official average athlete’s fee for one fight is about $ 3 million. It is worth noting that the athlete receives this amount in any case – regardless of whether the match ends in victory or defeat. In addition, he also receives additional money if he wins the fight, as well as a percentage of stream views and bonuses from sponsors. For example, every fight in the UFC is broadcast by a paid service Pay-per-view, which sends a percentage to the athlete. An example is the fight of Conor McGregor against the Russian athlete Khabib Nurmagomedov – in addition to $ 3 million for the fight, McGregor also received a percentage of the sales of the PPV service, which amounted to $ 50 million. Thus, Conor’s fee for one fight was $ 53 million.

Throughout his career at the moment, the Irish athlete has earned more than $ 400 million in his career. At the same time, his fee in the Absolute Fighting Championship (UFC) McGregor was 22 million.

Khabib Nurmagomedov

The second place in the rating is occupied by the Russian athlete Khabib Nurmagomedov. According to the South China Morning Post, while he also makes good money on mixed martial arts, his income is about ten times less than Conor McGregor’s – about $ 40 million. In addition to the fights themselves, a significant amount of income also comes from advertising contracts and business.

The athlete gained particular popularity in 2018 when he first became the UFC lightweight champion, and then had a famous fight against Conor McGregor, as a result of which he managed to defend his title. Speaking about the fact that he has become popular not only in sports but also in show business, it is worth mentioning that in 2019 the famous Forbes magazine named him the most successful star of show business and sports under 40 years old.

According to Forbes, Khabib Nurmagomedov earned $ 11.5 million in one year from advertising campaigns alone.

For the fight with the famous American fighter Justin Gaethje, the athlete received $ 3 million, as well as a percentage of TV sales and a 90 thousand bonus. For the fight with Dustin Poirier, the athlete received $ 4 million, and for the fight with Conor McGregor – $ 2 million (these amounts do not include bonuses from sponsors and a percentage of the sale of TV broadcasts).

Georges Saint-Pierre

The third place in the ranking of the highest-paid MMA fighters is occupied by the ex-champion of two UFC divisions, Canadian Georges Saint-Pierre. According to the newspaper, his income is $ 30 million. It is known that many athletes were involved in scandals with the leaders of the UFC league due to financial disagreements.

So Saint-Pierre said that in 4 years his salary had grown from $ 3 thousand to millions in royalties. For his first fight in the UFC, when the athlete defeated Karo Parisian, he earned $ 3 thousand, and after losing in the first round during a fight with Matt Hughes, he was paid $ 9 thousand. According to Forbes, Georges Saint-Pierre earned $ 9 million only for fights with Nick Diaz and Johnny Hendrix. According to the athlete himself, the ability to negotiate with the leaders of the UFC league plays an important role.

Brock Lesnar

The fourth and fifth highest-paid fighters of all time are American Brock Lesnar and former UFC two-weight champion BJ Penn.

For his first fight, Brock Lesnar received $ 250,000, and in total, he spent 8 fights in the UFC. The fee for the last fight of the athlete was $ 2.5 million. In addition, the athlete is known to have led UFC 100 and UFC 200 tournaments and received his interest from the sale of 7.5 million paid broadcasts.

BJ Penn

American fighter BJ Penn, according to the championat.com service, is the first non-Brazilian to become the world champion in Jiu-Jitsu. During his career, he earned about $ 22 million, and half of his income came from advertising partnerships with the famous sportswear brand Reebok.

Сonclusion

Thanks to the great popularity of mixed martial arts, the most famous athletes in this sport are making good money. As mentioned above, not only participation in fights brings income to fighters, but also numerous advertising contracts, as well as bonuses from sponsors and percentages from sales of paid broadcasts of matches.

Don’t Look Up

“Just Look Up” was co-written by Grammy winners, Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi, 2-time Academy Award-nominated / Emmy winning composer Nicholas Britell and Oscar nominated songwriter Taura Stinson.

Nicholas Britell (MoonlightIf Beale Street Could TalkSuccession) produced the soundtrack, composed the score and co-wrote “Second Nature.”

Written and directed by Academy Award winner Adam McKay (The Big Short, Vice), DON’T LOOK UP follows Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence) and Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio), two low-level astronomers who make an astounding discovery of a comet orbiting within the solar system. The problem — it’s on a direct collision course with Earth. The other problem? No one really seems to care. Turns out warning mankind about a planet-killer the size of Mount Everest is an inconvenient fact to navigate. With the help of Dr. Oglethorpe (Rob Morgan), Kate and Randall embark on a media tour that takes them from the office of an indifferent  President Orlean (Meryl Streep) and her sycophantic son and Chief of Staff, Jason (Jonah Hill), to the airwaves of The Daily Rip, an upbeat morning show hosted by Brie (Cate Blanchett) and Jack (Tyler Perry). With only six months until the comet makes impact, managing the 24-hour news cycle and gaining the attention of the social media obsessed public before it’s too late proves shockingly comical — what will it take to get the world to just look up?!

DON’T LOOK UP also stars Mark Rylance, Ron Perlman, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Scott Mescudi (aka Kid Cudi), Himesh Patel, Melanie Lynskey, Michael Chiklis and Tomer Sisley and releases in select theaters today and on Netflix December 24th. Watch the trailer HERE.

Summer House Season 6

BRAVO’S FAVORITE SUMMER CREW IS BACK WHEN “SUMMER HOUSE” RETURNS ON MONDAY, JANUARY 17 AT 9PM ET/PT

The temperature isn’t the only thing heating up this Summer! Bravo is heading back to the Hamptons for season six of “Summer House,” premiering on Monday, January 17 at 9pm ET/PT. After spending last summer quarantined together, the housemates are back to their regular routine of hustling during the week in NYC and spending their weekends out East with epic parties, dramatic love triangles and of course, rosé all day. Returning this summer are Lindsay Hubbard, Paige DeSorbo, Kyle Cooke, Amanda Batula, Carl Radke, Danielle Olivera, Ciara Miller and Luke Gulbranson. The housemates are joined by new friends Andrea Denver, Mya Allen and Alex Wach and special appearances are made throughout the season by Craig Conover and Austen Kroll of Bravo’s “Southern Charm. For a sneak peek, click here.

Coming up this season:

  • At a major crossroads in her life, the usually ambitious and determined Lindsay Hubbard is hesitant on what her next steps are. After being friend-zoned by Austen in Vermont, Lindsay continued to date Jason in the city until she experienced the biggest personal drama in her life yet. Unsure if she wants to continue things with Jason or date around this summer, Lindsay is confronted by some of her housemates that her “Hot Hubbs Summer” behavior might be getting a little too hot.
  • Paige DeSorbo is living her best life. Soon after leaving Vermont, her long-term crush Craig Conover became single and she doesn’t lose the opportunity to explore a potential relationship with him. However, upon entering the summer, Paige learns that her past-fling Andrea will also be joining the house and she is eager to see if their chemistry is still as hot as before. She is definitely smitten with both of these men… but after learning Craig might be hooking up with a well-known celebrity, she has no issues showing him that she has plenty of options of her own.
  • Last summer, Kyle Cooke and fiancé Amanda were doing better than ever, but living and working together for the past year has clearly taken its toll and the two hit their lowest point yet. Being that this is the last summer before he ties the knot, Kyle is determined to go big or go home. With many of the housemates already doubting their wedding will even happen, Kyle is forced to get his priorities in check or he could end up going home…alone.
  • Keeping busy by working and raising a litter of puppies, Amanda Batula has been doing everything and anything but wedding planning. With only a few weeks until the big day, her pre-wedding glow is dulled by her and Kyle’s continuous fighting and drama. Amanda is soon faced with the toughest decision of her life… either walk down the aisle or call off the engagement for good.
  • Carl Radke has become the best version of himself after a difficult summer last year.  His career is thriving and he is focusing on his physical and mental health by working out and meditating daily. Excited to explore a whole new world of sober dating with hopes of settling down, Carl has multiple potential romantic connections throughout the summer. Will he fall in love or fall apart?
  • Feeling like she was working too much and not having much control over her life, Danielle Olivera quit her corporate job to take a big risk, not only financially but personally. Although she and boyfriend Robert are still going strong, they have been finding it hard to put their relationship first and this summer could be what makes or breaks them.
  • After living in Georgia her entire life, Ciara Miller has applied for her New York nursing license and found an apartment in the city, but soon finds herself homesick. She has been dating a few different guys in New York, but is faced with a difficult decision when a love interest from her past visits the house.
  • Finally moved on from Ciara, Luke Gulbranson wants to have a summer filled with fun…and romance. No stranger to love-triangles, Luke finds himself getting pulled into different directions throughout the Summer and once again has his fair share of drama.
  • New to the Hamptons, but no stranger to this group of friends, Andrea Denver is excited to spend the summer with Paige. Soon after entering the house, he learns that she might have something romantically going on with someone he considered to be a close friend. And although his first instinct has always been to play the field, Andrea is determined more than ever to find the right girl to bring home to Italy.
  • Mya Allen, a restaurant consultant who runs a cookie business on the side, likes to keep things sweet. After breaking up with her long-term fiancé during quarantine, Mya joins her friend Paige for a summer she’ll never forget. She is taking her time to find her next man and wants to have fun and let loose…And what better place than in the Hamptons?
  • Born in Hong Kong, Alex Wach relocated to the United States as a child, and has lived in New York since he was 12. As a fitness instructor, Alex’s priorities include eating healthy, working out and looking good. Will he be able to keep up with this party crew?

“Summer House” is produced by Truly Original, with Steven Weinstock, Glenda Hersh, Lauren Eskelin, Jamie Jakimo, Trish Gold and Maggie Langtry serving as Executive Producers, and by Left Hook Media, with Matt Odgers and Scott Teti as Executive Producers. Sean Clifford also serves as Executive Producer.

This includes measures related to diversity, equity & inclusion, taking steps toward environmental sustainability, and supporting local charities. The Voice Season Finale

Season 21 of NBC’s four-time Emmy Award-winning competition series The Voice will be a night of stargazing when Carrie Underwood and John Legend, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, Alicia Keys, Walker Hayes, Keke Palmer, and Tori Kelly take the stage during the two-hour live season finale on Tuesday, Dec. 14 (9-11 p.m. ET/PT).

One of the five finalists–Girl Named Tom and Hailey Mia from Team Kelly, Jershika Maple from Team Legend, and Wendy Moten and Paris Winningham from Team Blake – will be crowned the winner on the live telecast. Superstar coaches will also perform with their final artists.

Grammy Award winners Carrie Underwood and John Legend will perform their holiday duet, “Hallelujah,” which appears on Underwood’s Christmas album, “My Gift (Special Edition).” The original song was written by Legend and Toby Gad (“All of Me”) and the music video for “Hallelujah” was directed by acclaimed director and photographer Randee St. Nicholas and was honored as CMT’s 2020 Video of the Year.

Coldplay will perform a very special performance of “My Universe,” their collaboration with BTS, which debuted at #1 on the U.S. Billboard chart and was streamed more than 100 million times in its first week of release.

Global superstar and Season 21 Mega Mentor Ed Sheeran will be performing “Shivers,” the latest single off of his new album ‘=’ which debuted at #1 on Billboard 200, marking the 4x-Grammy winner’s fourth consecutive full-length release to top the chart. ‘=’ also features the chart-topping lead single “Bad Habits,” which recently received a Grammy nomination for Song of the Year. Continuing his chart dominance, Sheeran’s “Shivers” and “Bad Habits” are simultaneously sitting in the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Artist, singer, songwriter, musician, entrepreneur and former coach, Alicia Keys returns to “The Voice” for a special performance of her new song, “Old Memories.” Keys will perform her instant classic from her new album “KEYS (Original and Unlocked),” a double album out Dec. 10. The album takes a unique approach as it showcases two versions: “Original,” which highlights Keys’ signature musicality and “Unlocked,” which explores the music through a sampled experience.

Walker Hayes makes his debut performance on “The Voice” with recent smash hit “Fancy Like.” Stereogum calls it “the biggest country crossover hit of 2021,” and it marks the Monument Records artist’s second #1 single and the first from his forthcoming album, set for release in January. “Fancy Like” has been atop every country streaming and sales chart since its release in June. The track has spent a whopping 16 weeks and counting at the #1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs, is among the top 5 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Songs, top 5 at Country Radio, top 5 at Pop Radio and is the fastest RIAA Double Platinum Certified Country song of the year.

Don’t miss Keke Palmer and Tori Kelly performing a duet of “Christmas (Baby Please Come Home),” the latest single from the “Sing 2” original motion picture soundtrack. This season’s Top 13 artists will join them and the performance will be introduced by Matthew McConaughey and Nick Kroll from “Sing 2.”

About Doja Cat

11-time GRAMMY nominee Doja Cat made her first upload to Soundcloud in 2013 at just 16-years-old. Having grown up in and around the LA area, she developed a knack for music by studying piano and dance as a kid and listening to the likes of Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, Nicki Minaj, Drake, and more. Soon, she went from obsessing over Catwoman (the Halle Berry version) to crate digging on YouTube. The budding talent taught herself Logic and how to compose on a midi controller. Signed to Kemosabe/RCA in 2014, she released her Purrr! EP and followed that with her debut album Amala in spring 2018, but it was her August 2018 release of “Mooo!” which catapulted her into the mainstream and was met with critical acclaim.

Doja Cat released her sophomore album Hot Pink in November 2019 to mass critical acclaim, the album was a platinum success with over 14.5 billion streams worldwide. Hot Pink features “Juicy” which hit #1 at Rhythm radio, “Say So” her GRAMMY nominated #1 smash record and “Streets”, the viral sensation that soundtracked the ‘Silhouette Challenge,’ one of the biggest TikTok trends to date. The success of “Say So” which hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has been RIAA certified 4x platinum and streamed over 6.7 billion times catapulted Doja into global superstardom. She has taken home the Best New Artist Award at the MTV Video Music Awards, the MTV Europe Music Awards, the American Music Awards, the iHeartRadio Awards and the People’s Choice Awards.

Doja’s creativity and showmanship as a performer have been praised time and time again, she has delivered unique and show stopping performances on nearly all the major Award Show stages including the GRAMMY Awards, the AMAs, the Billboard Awards, the iHeart Radio Awards and the MTV VMAs and EMAs. Her last tour sold out in 10 minutes, and she has played numerous festivals including Rap Caviar Live Miami, Posty Fest, Day n Vegas and Rolling Loud LA.

Doja Cat’s GRAMMY nominated album Planet Her came out in June 2021 and dominated the charts, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Top R&B Albums chart and #2 on the Billboard Top 200 and Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, marking Doja Cat’s career best and highest debut to date with 109K in total activity in the US alone. Spanning a range of genres Planet Her also generated the highest first day Spotify streams for an album by a female rapper, was the top Pop album upon release based on consumption according to MRC data, and marks both the biggest debut for a female rapper and the top female R&B debut of 2021. GRAMMY nominated “Kiss Me More” ft. SZA, the lead single off Planet Her is certified platinum by the RIAA and hit #1 at Top 40 and Rhythm radio with over 2.8 billion streams worldwide.
