ChargerGoGo, World’s Largest Portable Phone Charging

ChargerGoGo, the world’s leading network of on-demand phone charging systems for commercial venues of all kinds, has now entered the U.S. market. Emerging as an essential amenity at a fast-growing number of businesses, ChargerGoGo’s kiosks may be found at the Las Vegas Convention Center, MGM Grand Garden Arena and AREA15, among hundreds of others. After establishing itself across Asia, where it deployed more than 1 million charging kiosks and attracted more than 360 million users and 20,000 distributors, ChargerGoGo is poised to become the largest shared power bank network in the United States.

Unlike static charging stations, ChargerGoGo allows customers to pick up a portable battery, charge their phones and then return the battery to any nearby ChargerGoGo kiosk, a first-of-its-kind service to debut at this scale. Ideal for installation at restaurants, bars, nightclubs, coffee shops, stadiums, convention centers, hotels, hospitals and retail centers, ChargerGoGo allows users to charge their phones on the go, without wasting time or missing important notifications.

With smartphones now considered essential to daily life, battery life has not kept pace with user consumption. In fact, 80 percent of all phones experience a low battery charge at least once a week while users are away from home, and nine out of 10 people experience “panic mode” when their phone battery goes below 20 percent. This occurrence can result in them leaving the business early, causing potential decreases in revenue. Offering a convenient mobile charging station enables venues to retain these customers and increase sales. 360 Magazine is very impressed by the number of advancements being made in the world to have a better technology outlet.

“One of the most frequent requests our clients receive from customers is to help them charge their phones,” said Chris Meyer, chief executive officer, Chris Meyer Global, a consultancy specializing in the meetings and global trade industries. “Now, ChargerGoGo kiosks enable them to do so effortlessly, easing their minds and allowing them to enjoy their time worry-free while they’re at a meeting and events facility, bar, café, or any other commercial venue.”

In addition to its portable batteries, other features unique to ChargerGoGo include the kiosks’ customizable LED screens that can display the host’s promotional messages and a compact, modern design with custom wrapping options so the host venue can brand them with their logos or other imagery. Another innovative feature distinguishing ChargerGoGo from its competitors: venues that install the kiosks on their premises can earn passive income through the company’s revenue-sharing model.

“Our mission is to improve people’s lives by saving them from constantly dying phones while helping host venues boost sales, grow revenue, and elevate their customer experience,” said June Zhu, founder, ChargerGoGo. “Our vision is to bring ChargerGoGo charging stations to every commercial facility with foot traffic nationwide.”

Sharon Lockhart – Guggenheim Museum

The Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will be presenting Sharon Lockhart. Rotation Notation, the third and last exhibition of 2021 in the Film & Video Gallery, a Museum space devoted to showing fundamental works of video and moving image art, and sound and video installations.

This exhibition shows a video installation and photographs by Sharon Lockhart (b. 1964, Norwood, USA) based on her encounter with the works of Israeli choreographer Noa Eshkol (b. 1924, Degania Bet kibbutz–d. 2007, Holon, Israel) soon after Eshkol died. Lockhart’s discovery of Eshkol’s works led her to further her formal exploration of human motion and expand the collaborative dimension of her work through her engagement with the choreographer’s manifold and largely communally-enacted practice.

The works of Lockhart pay particular attention to human activity and its modes of organization, be it social or solitary. 360 Magazine is pleased to watch this video as it truly shows a very different aspect.

Avril Lavigne – Bite Me

AVRIL LAVIGNE RELEASES BRAND NEW SINGLE “BITE ME”

Multiplatinum star Avril Lavigne has released “Bite Me,” her first new music since 2019 and label debut for Travis Barker’s DTA Records. The exhilarating track is available everywhere now, and, to celebrate the arrival of “Bite Me,” the eight-time GRAMMY Award-nominated multiplatinum singer, songwriter, designer, and philanthropist will treat fans to the song’s first late-night television performance on CBS’s The Late Late Show With James Corden tonight. Founded by Barker, DTA Records operates as a worldwide venture with Elektra Music Group.

Welcoming Avril to the DTA Records family, Barker said, “Avril and I have been friends for a long time, but I think I’ve been a fan of hers even longer! She’s a true badass and an icon as a performer, songwriter, and presence. We had gotten in the studio earlier this year, and we were having so much fun that I knew I wanted to ask her to join the DTA team. I’m so stoked she’s now part of the label. I can’t wait for everybody to experience the incredible music she’s about to drop.”

Avril offered, “I’ve always admired Travis and his work. The first time we worked together was 15 years ago on my album The Best Damn Thing’ and I have really enjoyed watching him develop into the producer that he is today. We spent a lot of time writing songs and working on this record together, and signing to his record label, DTA felt like the perfect home for me and my new music. Travis understands my vision as a musician, my creative process as an artist, and my goals at this stage of my career. I am excited to be dropping Bite Me. It’s an anthem about knowing your worth, what you deserve, and not giving someone a second chance who doesn’t deserve you.”

Elektra Music Group Co-Presidents Mike Easterlin and Gregg Nadel commented, “Avril is the rare superstar whose influence only grows with each generation. You can feel her impact across popular music, and it continues to magnify. It comes down to the fact that she’s an amazing songwriter and dynamic performer with undeniable artistic integrity. That holds true in her new music. We’re excited to work with Travis to bring her vision to life.”

Baring her teeth like never before, the high energy and anthemic “Bite Me” was co-produced by Barker, John Feldmann, and Mod Sun. The official music video directed by Hannah Lux Davis is in the final stages of production now. Last week, Avril shared a post on TikTok that teased her signing to DTA Records with a clip of her and Travis performing a snippet of “Bite Me” that has amassed over 10 million views and 1.5 million likes in just a few days. Avril had broken the internet earlier this year with her first foray onto the platform: her viral “Sk8er Boi” post co-starring none other than skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. The clip impressively reached 33.9 million views and generated 6.7 million likes.

Avril is set to launch a world tour in 2022 with dates to be revealed imminently. Stay tuned for much more from Avril Lavigne soon.

Al Sharpton Responds

Today, November 11, through the trial of the killing of Ahmaud Arbery, William Bryan’s lawyer Kevin Gough shared some objections and concerns to the judge. Gough’s objection came from the presence of civil rights leader Reverend Al Sharpton being in the courtroom. He expressed to the judge, Judge Timothy Walmsley, that the presence of such civil rights leaders is “intimidation.” Reverend Al Sharpton was in attendance of the trial for the killing of Ahmaud Arbery on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. While in attendance at the trial, Reverend Al Sharpton organized a prayer vigil with his parents outside of the courthouse in Brunswick, Georgia. Reverend Al Sharpton has since released this statement following the accusations of his presence being used for intimidation:

“The arrogant insensitivity of attorney Kevin Gough in asking a judge to bar me or any minister of the family’s choice underscores the disregard for the value of the human life lost and the grieving of a family in need spiritual and community support.

My attendance yesterday and in the days to come is not disruptive in any way and was at the invitation of the family of Ahmaud Arbery who have stated that publicly.

The only way I could have been identified as a member of the ministry is if I was recognized for my public position and leadership. How else would the defense attorney know who was a “black pastor” or not?

This objection was clearly pointed at me and a disregard to the fact that a mother father sitting in a courtroom with 3 men that murdered their son do not deserve the right to have someone present to give spiritual strength to bear this pain. This is pouring salt into their wounds.

I respect the defense attorney doing his job but this is beyond defending your client, it is insulting the family of the victim.”

Judge Timothy Walmsley who is overseeing the case indicated that he would not make blanket rules over attendance of the public and acknowledged that the company of Reverend Sharpton would not be a distraction.

Background on the Case

Sunday, February 23, 2020, the unarmed, Black twenty-five year old Ahmaud Arbery was chased and killed by three armed white men in a neighborhood in South Georgia and was killed. The National Action Network has continuously stood by the family of the victim in their quest for justice and continues to criticize the range of the jury for the case. The jury consists of eleven white women, three white men and one Black man in a county that is predominately Black. Though Judge Timothy Walmsley acknowledges the presence of “intentional discrimination” in the range of the jury, he states that the trial over the killing of Arbery will proceed.
