THE LAUNCH OF MATTHEW COROZINE STUDIO

New York based Broadway, film, television and acting coach and renowned theatre director, Matthew Corozine is announcing the debut of Matthew Corozine Studio, Inc. Miami (MCS). The studio will debut in the Miami Design District’s Palm Court Event Space beginning September 13, 2021 offering acting classes based on the transformational work of the Meisner technique. Classes will take place on an ongoing basis with limited spaces available each Monday from 6pm-9pm.

Matthew conceptualized MCS with a vision to create a collaborative, expansive, and supportive community for all artists to build their craft with honor and integrity. More than an acting studio, MCS is an inclusive community that celebrates the diversity of all artists who hope to explore their creativity through transformational techniques. MCS is expanding their network. Originally established in New York City, MCS now boasts locations in Washington D.C. and Miami and provides online classes.

“Acting is living and behaving truthfully and fully under imaginary circumstances.”

For over 20 years, this definition of acting is what has guided MCS students through their journey, encouraging them to “Get Out of Their Heads.” Matthew Corozine and all MCS coaches are committed to getting students out of their old stories, encouraging them to be in the present moment, and creating a new artistic future they may not even envision. By removing the walls that each student builds during childhood to survive in the world, MCS conditions them to respond from their unique impulses and instincts. As Matthew teaches, “If you survived 7th grade, you can be an actor.”

From acting careers on national television, Broadway, producing and writing original work for theatre and film, to professional careers in arts related organizations, MCS students have taken the transformational MCS work to become leaders and activists across all creative platforms. Matthew was officially nominated for a 2015 and 2018 EXCELLENCE IN THEATRE EDUCATION TONY AWARD®. He has coached on MTV’s Emmy Award Winning “Made,” and he has been a guest artist teaching master classes in Meisner at SoHo House New York, and SAG-AFTRA as well as other U.S and International destinations.

Some of the highlights of Matthew’s directing credits include FringeNYC (THE BOYS UPSTAIRS and MISS KIM) the NYC and LA premieres Susan E. Isaac’s ANGRY CONVERSATIONS WITH GOD, based on her spiritual memoir, and Terria Joseph’s original one-woman show GOING THROUGH LIFE WITH NO DIRECTION (produced by Alicia Keys at 54 Below).

Testimonial – Sheri Sanders

Founder and Author of ROCK THE AUDITION

“Matt’s insistence on my being truthful to my own nature is something I’ve prayed for in a teacher

my whole life. All I want to do when I’m not working is to be in his class and break through.”

Testimonial – Matthew LaBanca

A CHRISTMAS CAROL, YOUNG, FRANKENSTEIN, WHITE CHRISTMAS (Broadway)

“Taking class here is, hands down, the best investment I’ve made for my acting career. I always knew I had more depth as an actor, but that depth eluded me until I found MCS. This is where I finally learned to let go of doing things the “right” way, to honor my own unique impulses, and to consistently know what it means to live in the moment. The environment here is creative, safe, and often magical. My work is richer, fuller, and further true because of my studies at MCS.”

Twenty One Pilots × Roblox

Roblox and Warner Music Group announced the Twenty One Pilots Concert Experience, a pioneering interactive virtual concert powered by the latest Roblox technology. The fully immersive performance begins inside Roblox on Friday, September 17th at 4 p.m. PDT, kicking off the Grammy Award-winning Fueled By Ramen/Elektra artist’s sold out Takeover Tour.

The high-fidelity experience will feature the first-ever dynamic setlist dictated by fans in real-time; metaverse-spanning pre-concert quests involving some of Roblox’s most popular experiences that also feature custom portals that will transport users into the pre-concert venue; exclusive custom designed virtual merchandise, and much more. Fans can access the experience and join the pre-show festivities beginning today by visiting the Twenty One Pilots event page. New Roblox users will need to create an account to enter the concert venue.

Twenty One Pilots is a band that has spent their entire career figuring out how to reach the most people possible,” said the band’s longtime Creative Director Mark Eshleman. “From selling out the small room and moving to the big venue next door, to now launching a virtual experience with Roblox for millions of users, the goal has always been the same. The Roblox team has made an effort every step of the way to honor the band’s fans, its lore, and history to make sure this experience aligns with what people can expect from a show.

Designed in close collaboration with the band and Eshleman, the Roblox event aligns with Twenty One Pilots’ fan-first philosophy, bringing this experience to fans worldwide. The five-song set will feature a combination of hit songs as well as new material from their 2021 album, Scaled and Icy.

Mike Easterlin, Co-President, Elektra Music Group, said: “Tyler and Josh are two of the most unapologetically bold, forward-thinking artists I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Their commitment to connecting with their fans in new and creative ways is unparalleled, and I’m always amazed at how Mark continually finds ways to execute their imaginative vision. Roblox is a perfect partner in delivering another unique and exciting new way for fans to experience the world of Twenty One Pilots.

Jon Vlassopulos, Global Head of Music, Roblox, said: “We are taking virtual concerts to the next level with our Twenty One Pilots virtual concert experience. We wanted to make it truly interactive and participatory for the fans, for the band, and for our broader Roblox developer community. Fans will be able to decide the order of the songs that they hear by choosing with their friends. They will be able to interact with the environment in creative ways becoming part of the show, and Tyler and Josh will participate in a live chat with fans after the virtual concert. This is what Roblox is built for, bringing people together to interact in new and exciting ways and we are just scratching the surface of what’s possible.”

Oana Ruxandra, Chief Digital Officer & Executive Vice President, Business Development, Warner Music Group, said: “The Twenty One Pilots Concert Experience is a completely new format of interactive music experiences on Roblox. It is non-linear, it is choose-your-own-path, and it is the very reason why we have such a close partnership with Roblox. Our goal is to continue to build ever-evolving ways for our artists and fans to meet, connect and create something authentic together.”

The first-of-its-kind experience will include:

  • A dynamic setlist that gives users in each concert the ability to control the order of songs performed through instantaneous voting once the concert begins. Each song will feature its own meticulously designed set with a high level of fidelity and realism, powered by the latest in Roblox’s lighting, physically based rendering, and motion capture technologies.
  • Emotes, interactive features, and bespoke virtual merchandise (“verch”) including more than 30 exclusive custom-designed pieces available for purchase.
  • Metaverse-spanning pre-concert quests that will be integrated into three top Roblox experiences Ultimate Driving: Westover Islands, Creatures of Sonaria, and World // Zero, which collectively have over 400 million visits. These quests will enable users to earn Twenty One Pilots prizes and include portals that allow users to be transported into the Twenty One Pilots pre-concert venue from across the Roblox platform in the days leading up to the concert.
  • Behind the scenes footage detailing the creation of the virtual concert itself and a Q&A interview with the band, available now as part of the pre-concert experience.

Fans can replay performances at the top of each hour through Sunday, September 19 at 11 p.m. PDT.

About Twenty One Pilots

GRAMMY Award-winning Twenty One Pilots quietly emerged as one of the most successful bands of the 21st century and redefined the sound of a generation. After billions of streams and dozens of multi-Platinum certifications around the world, the history-making Columbus, OH duoTyler Joseph and Josh Dun ascended to a creative and critical high watermark on their new full-length album, Scaled And Icy. The album debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top “Rock Albums” and “Alternative Albums” charts, while landing at No. 3 on the “Billboard 200,” marking the biggest opening week for a rock album in 2021. Among a collection of anthems, Scaled And Icy spawned “Shy Away,” which spent eight consecutive weeks at #1 at Alternative Radio, and “Saturday” which just climbed to #1 at Alternative Radio marking the band’s 9th #1 single in the format. Scaled And Icy follows Twenty One Pilots’ 2018 Platinum certified album TRENCH, which features the platinum singles: “Chlorine,” “My Blood,” and the GRAMMY  Award-nominated “Jumpsuit.” The album graced spots on “Best of” year-end lists by Billboard, KERRANG!, Alternative Press, and Rock Sound who placed it at #1. Formed in 2009, the guys grinded towards this moment following the mainstream breakout of 2015’s BLURRYFACE. Certified quadruple-platinum in the U.S., it was declared the first album ever to have every one of its songs certified Gold or Platinum by the RIAA, and garnered a GRAMMY  Award for the Diamond certified “Stressed Out.” In 2019 Twenty One Pilots announced that their 2013 LP Vessel achieved the same Gold & Platinum milestone with every individual track from the album receiving Gold, Platinum or Multi-Platinum certification from the RIAA, making the duo the first artist/group with two albums to reach this landmark achievement.

Will Claye via Red Bull Records for use by 360 Magazine

Will Claye – Wee Hours Music Video

Fresh off participating in this year’s Olympic Games in Tokyo, hip-hop artist and Olympic medalist Will Claye releases the stunning visual for his single, “Wee Hours,” out now via Red Bull Records. Written by Claye, “Wee Hours” was produced by Grammy-winning songwriter and producer DJ Khalil, best known for his work with Jay-Z, Kanye West, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and more.

The strength of “Wee Hours” lies in Claye‘s introspective and poignant lyrics, which he delivers with a West Coast-influenced flair. The cinematic music video companion echoes this, drawing inspiration from his own experiences. “I wanted to speak for people whose voices have been suppressed,” says Claye. “I want to inspire my people and show them that even through all the horrific things we have gone through as a people, we can make it through and rise above it all.”

Adorned in his Olympic medals amidst a field of sunflowers, the visual cuts back and forth between Claye and a younger version of himself. Set in the orange-hued glow of his family’s home, the video shows young Will as he goes through the motions of his day. The video soon takes a darker tone, as Will steps outside and witnesses a police officer chase a Black man onto his yard. As the officer moves to pull out his gun, the man is saved by three guardian angels driving by, as the video closes with the powerful message of “our angels are always watching over us.”

The release of “Wee Hours” follows the debut of Elevate, the documentary from Red Bull. The short film follows Claye as he trains for the Olympics and records new music, working to make his mark on the world. As his moment in the spotlight parallels a cultural boiling point surrounding racial injustice, Claye seeks to use his voice to inspire his community’s youth, serving as a positive role model for the next generation. Watch HERE.

About Will Claye

Three-time Olympic medalist Will Claye started his path as a world-class athlete. By way of track and field, he was able to move into starting his brand ELEVATE, music and philanthropy. Will’s brand grew largely at the London Games in 2012, where he earned a bronze medal in the long jump and a silver medal in the triple jump to become the first man since 1936 and the first American since 1904 to obtain medals in both events. The Phoenix, AZ native of Sierra Leone-descent solidified himself as the #3 triple jumper of all time in 2019 and at the same time released an EP, WEST SIDE STORY, and single “TMS.”

The catalyst for Will’s music career came from artist YG inviting him to the studio and the pair creating IDGAF, what is now known as a classic West Coast record. From there, Will began to create his own lane and his own sound, taking inspiration from Bob Marley, Andre 3000, Snoop Dogg, DJ Quick, Pharrell, Jay Z, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, and Nate Dogg. With a wide array of influences, Will has created a sound that is eclectic and diverse, based on how he is feeling and what is going on in life. He is a rare combination of talent and genuine humility, recognizing that he can use his status as an artist and professional athlete to help others.

Top Ten Things to Know When Moving into Your First Apartment

By: Skyler Johnson

Moving into your first apartment can be a very stressful experience. From taking care of your electricity bill to installing Wi-Fi, there’s a lot to consider. Here are the top ten things to know.

  1. Be Aware of Space

This doesn’t just mean measuring your couch, it also means knowing which outlets are connected to a switch and how much closet space you have. Knowing where to plug in a lamp should be one of the first things you need to understand, as it can make life much easier down the road in terms of the arrangement of furniture and electronics. Keeping track of where each closet is can also allow for a serious consolidation of space. Find ways to maximize your closet space HERE.

  1. Make a Grocery List

While this may seem like it’s self-explanatory, it’s not something you ever want to forget, especially if you’re hungry. Chances are you’re not going to remember all the ingredients to a certain dish or dishes you’re making. Making this list should be something you do once or twice a week to make sure you don’t take more trips to the grocery store than you need.

  1. Choose Your Meal Plan Carefully

Going grocery shopping is something you’ll have to do every week and making a list of meals is essential. However, ingredients can be expensive if you’re not choosing correctly. Therefore, it’s important to only buy products you’re going to use at least twice. That way, you can save money in terms of how much you buy. If you’re buying zucchini, make sure to use it both for a fried zucchini and a pasta with zucchini and pesto. If you have the money, but not the time to shop, check out Instacart, where you can have someone go shopping for you.

  1. Keep the Lights Off

Remember, you have an electricity bill now. Make sure not to keep the lights on for too long or that bill will start to seriously increase. Make sure to turn off all lights when leaving the apartment, but make leave a light on when using a phone or laptop, as that’s been proven to deteriorate your eyesight.

  1. Keep Organized

Keeping organized might be something you’re already semi-aware of, but you’re operating on a much larger scale now. Putting shoes in their proper place and keeping brooms and mops in a closet or contained area can help you in the long run especially when doing chores. Having to scrounge through all your belongings to find a simple thing is a mild inconvenience when it happens one time in your room or dorm, but it becomes more of an issue when everything you have becomes lost.

  1. Remember to Get Fresh Air

With your apartment, unlike with your dorm or house, you don’t have to do much moving around for long periods. The kitchen is right there and doesn’t require as much walking as in a house. Nevertheless, it is good to get out of the house at least once a day. Social isolation can lead to depression.

  1. Magnets, Tupperware, and Air Freshener

These are all things you might not think you need, but you will. Magnets are great for your fridge. They can be used to hang up notes, grocery lists, and even hand towels. Plus, they make great decorations. Tupperware is good for storing food, which will become necessary. It’s always good to have leftovers, especially for busy study/work nights. Even for the nose blind, an air freshener is great for kitchen smells which will permeate a small space.

  1. Know how to do Laundry

Most apartment complexes have some form of a laundry room, and it’s important to know where yours is located, and more importantly how much it costs. You don’t want to be stuck with a lot of clothes to be washed without know how to wash them. Some laundry machines are more intuitive than others. For example, some may use Shine, a platform that allows for easy mobile payments for laundry. You can find out if your complex uses one by checking if there’s a baby blue sticker on the machine.

  1. Don’t Be Afraid to Make Cooking Mistakes

Cooking is one of the many things that are unique to moving into your first apartment, and while you may liken yourself to be a chef, try doing it every night. Food preparation mistakes are common but can also be great learning experiences. Either way, there’s always take-out if your food is inedible.

  1. Give yourself Space

When first moving into your apartment, you will have to deal with a lot of anxiety from living on your own. It’s not an easy transition, and you shouldn’t expect it to be. If you can, take a few days off from working to transition into your new space and get used to your environment. You won’t regret it.
