GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum selling recording artist SZA releases “The Anonymous Ones,” the next song to be unveiled from the DEAR EVAN HANSEN (ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK), today.  A brand-new song was written specifically for the Universal Pictures release, “The Anonymous Ones” was written by Benj Pasek, Justin Paul, and Amandla Stenberg.  A co-star in the movie, Stenberg’s performance of the song as featured in the film is also released today. “The Anonymous Ones” is a song that reminds us that everyone, even people who seem to have it all together, have their own struggles and insecurities, and fears. But when we open up to each other we realize how much we can help one another just by being there for each other. The full lineup of artists has been revealed for the soundtrack, including Sam Smith with Summer Walker, SZA, Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay, FINNEAS, and Tori Kelly. Plus, the 16-track album features new recordings by the film cast of these beloved songs with music and lyrics by the Oscar®, Grammy®, and Tony® winning songwriting team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (La La Land, The Greatest Showman). Among the new songs, the Soundtrack also includes “A Little Closer” performed by Colton Ryan.

Last month, Universal Pictures & Interscope Records unveiled new renditions of the film’s iconic anthems “Waving Through A Window” and “You Will Be Found” performed by Tony®, Grammy® and Emmy® winner Ben Platt, who originated the role of Evan Hansen on Broadway and reprises the role for the film. And just last week saw the release of Carrie Underwood and Dan + Shay’s version of “Only Us.”

The film premiered last night at the Toronto International Film Festival and Universal Pictures will release Dear Evan Hansen in theaters nationwide on September 24th.

Dear Evan Hansen opened on Broadway in December 2016 and became a generation-defining phenomenon, winning six Tony Awards, including for Best Musical and for Ben Platt as Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical. The show’s cast album would go on to earn a Grammy®.

Now, in the film, Ben Platt returns as Evan Hansen, an anxious, isolated high schooler aching for understanding and belonging amid the chaos and cruelty of the social-media age.  360 Magazine is very excited to watch this movie as this brings a huge portion of our audience.

FIRST FOLIO ATLAS EVER

THE FIRST FOLIO ATLAS EVER PRINTED IN THE ISLAMIC WORLD FOUND AMONG SEVERAL EXCITING DISCOVERIES AT WESTON HALL – HOME OF THE FAMOUS SITWELL FAMILY FOR 300 YEARS

The first folio atlas ever printed in the Islamic world has been discovered in one of the nine attics at Weston Hall in Northamptonshire, home of the famous Sitwell family for more than 300 years. The exceptionally rare Ottoman atlas is by Mahmoud Raif Efendi and is titled Cedid Atlas Tercumesi (A translation of a New Atlas). It is one of only 50 ever produced and is one of several exciting discoveries made at the house, when specialists were brought in to catalog the contents of the house, which will be offered in an extensive auction titled Weston Hall and the Sitwells: A Family Legacy at Dreweatts on Tuesday, November 16, 2021.

The maps are based on William Faden’s General Atlas and are accompanied by Raif’s geographical treatise. When it was produced, several copies were reserved for high-ranking officials and important institutions and this copy is thought, therefore to have been brought back to Britain by a Sitwell family member (General Lord Hely-Hutchinson, during his military campaigns in the Middle East). The remaining copies were partially destroyed in a warehouse fire during the Janissary revolt of 1807/8, during which Raif himself was killed. It is thought that a maximum of only 20 complete copies survives, which are held in institutional or private libraries.

This complete copy is a single volume and features a hand-colored, engraved pictorial title with the tughra (monogram) of Sultan Selim III. The text is in Ottoman Turkish with 24 hand-colored terrestrial maps, including two twin-hemispheres and one world, all double-page, with a plain celestial chart. It is stamped and dated 1804. It is estimated to fetch £20,000-£30,000 at auction. 360 Magazine is excited to witness this priceless Atlas, which contains such history.

For this, her very first filmed special, she handpicked some of the most impressive talents from the thriving US burlesque community and flew them to Los Angeles to perform with her at the historic Orpheum Theater in downtown Los Angeles. Working closely with the acclaimed young director, Quinn Wilson, Dita has created a visually stunning, endlessly titillating, and entirely enchanting film available to stream repeatedly over the weekend. Egypt President Calls on International Community To Support Global Green Recovery

H.E. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, called upon the international community to unite and spark a “green recovery.”

Speaking on the first day of the inaugural Egypt International Cooperation Forum (Egypt – ICF), launched by the Ministry of International Cooperation, taking place in Cairo between 8-9 September, El-Sisi said: “No government alone can make this recovery possible. It requires the support of the international community and financial institutions to achieve the UN SDGs.”

Also at the event, H.E. Dr. Rania A. Al-Mashat, Egypt’s Minister of International Cooperation, said: “This is a unique opportunity for Egypt to reset global priorities and place sustainability at the core of economic development.”

“We launched the Egypt – ICF to provide a global platform to catalyze international cooperation as we rebuild from the pandemic. By increasing multi-stakeholder engagement and cooperation, we can pave the way for more inclusive, greener, and more resilient economies that work for everyone.”

Later at the event, during a panel on multilateralism, Solomon Quaynor, the African Development Bank’s (AfDB) Vice President for the Private Sector, Infrastructure and Industrialization said: “Egypt is uniquely positioned to be a regional hub for vaccine production.”

“A successful vaccination campaign [in Africa] could help realize the benefits of the African Continental Free Trade Area – a single market with 1.2 billion people and $3.4 trillion in gross domestic product.”

During a panel that addressed the urgent need to unlock international development funds, Jorge Moreira da Silva, Director OECD Development Co-operation Directorate said: “It is critical to mobilize one percent of US$379 trillion. But it cannot be done without a holistic approach. It is important to emphasize the role of multilateralism.”

In a panel session dedicated to combatting climate change, Mr. Selwin Charles Hart, Special Adviser and Assistant Secretary-General for Climate Action Panelists, described the world as being on a “climate cliff” as it gets dangerously close to not meeting the 1.5 degrees Celsius Paris Agreement goal, if “we don’t take ambitious action now.”

The Forum also heard from H.E. Dr. Yasmine Fouad, Egypt’s Minister of Environment, who said: “Climate change is not an environmental challenge. Climate challenge is a developmental challenge. It hits hard all development processes. It doesn’t differentiate between a rich, poor or developing country.”

ShopShops, the interactive global livestream shopping platform, announces its partnership with the Fifth Avenue Association to introduce the first-ever New York Fashion Week Livestream Studio, with real-time fashion show broadcasting, a 360° GlamCam on iconic Fifth Avenue (outside), and interactive Style Contest. The global live streaming initiative will take place September 9 – 12, at NYFW on Fifth, located at 608 Fifth Avenue.
The ShopShops Style Contest will give Livestream Pop Up participants the opportunity to win a $500 shopping spree on Fifth Avenue. ShopShops Livestream 360° GlamCam is a portable photo booth that will be stationed outside NYFW x Fifth.  Taking its inspiration from ShopShops interactive model and global street chic, the 360° GlamCam will capture fashion moments with social media influencers, style arbiters, and shoppers on the Avenue.  Content will be shared on the ShopShops app and social channels: @shopshops_official and #shopnyfw.
Videos will be uploaded to the ShopShops app, and the fashion looks will be voted on by its international community with four winners announced on September 15th.
