Cryptocurrency Investment: Five Personal Finance Experts to Follow for Perfect Advice

There is much one must know to avoid facing trouble in the domain of cryptocurrency. Hence, it is vital to explore more about this new currency. Finance experts like Saijal Patel, can be your best guide when it comes to cryptocurrency advice. Whether you follow these experts or explore sites like Bitcoin Buyer, you can gain valuable insight. Check out the top five personal finance experts to follow before investing in digital currency:

1). Jeremy Schneider

Jeremy is one of the most senior Bitcoin experts, having been involved with the industry from the first day. He learned about cryptocurrency in 2010 and after thinking for half an hour, Jeremy finally decided to procure BTC. Jeremy warns against investing because of fear of missing out (FOMO) pressure. Rather, Jeremy reminds people of two rules when it comes to making money by investing in cryptocurrency: think twice before investing, and go safe in their games. Today, his net worth comes to around 4.1 million dollars.

2). Jully-Alma Taveras

Jully is called the Investing Latina on the internet. She aims to diversify the entire holdings of digital currency assets. People are starting up to learn more about the digital coin, claims Jully, yet not all are required to put their money into cryptocurrency. Jully feels that one’s cryptocurrency assets should comprise of a wide range of profiles. She also recommends people try only the two, main digital currencies for now. When we compare digital currencies to traditional ones, some cryptocurrencies can miss the mark.

3). Kiana Danial

Kiana Danial is also known as the Invest Diva. She began keeping an eye over the digital currency market in 2016, and began putting her money into the market in 2018. Danial has been active on Instagram, on which she discusses investing on goals and objectives. Kiana claims that BTC is not a lottery ticket to make loads of money in a year. She feels that one should research and check out potential risks before investing their money.

4). Marc Russell

Mark, better known as Betterwallet on Instagram, loves to stick to the basic rules of investing. He says that long-term and boring kinds of strategies do not often work, and that they require too much focus. At the same time, Mark also recommends considering what your personal long-term goal is. He claims that a majority of asset distribution deals (which include a proper blend of bonds, stocks, and alternatives) are simple and make everyone a long-term investor. He recommends that veterans start first with 5 percent investment allocation, and then proceed to with 10 percent allocations with caution.

5). Humphrey Yang

Humphrey Yang creates TikToks and YouTube videos concerning investing. He strongly advocates for index funds. Humphrey recommends that investors put money into these index funds and check them on a yearly basis. Furthermore, Yang calls people to avoid any speculative investments. He recommends only putting a small amount of money into an investment, and then proceeding gradually to see that your money is moving in the right direction.

Storm Ford Signs with LVRN and Warner Chappel

Artist, singer, and songwriter, Storm Ford has signed a publishing deal with Atlanta-based label Love Renaissance (LVRN) and Warner Chappel.

On the special signing, Ford shares “LVRN just makes sense. It feels right. In some ways I feel like they’ve courted me as a writer; they pushed me creatively & taught me important lessons about this industry whether they intended to or not. And they’ve made me feel welcomed into the family they’ve created. Justice (Baiden) is ‘goated’ for doing those IG Live talent shows. That really changed my life.”

This announcement today stems directly from the connection Storm made with Founder/Head of A&R at LVRN, Justice Baiden, during his Instagram Live songwriter talent search where Storm blew him and the viewing audience away, performing her own acoustic songs in her Grandma’s kitchen. During the beginning of quarantine, as many turned to hosting open mics and competitions on Instagram Live, Storm seized her opportunity and claimed her moment. The rising star dominated Instagram, winning a competition curated by media personality Scottie Beam and performing on the United Masters’ Instagram Live, where she then received an invite to sing on the NBA’s weekly artist competition via the NBA Instagram account. Music mavens T-Pain and Anthony Hamilton, who were selected as judges, praised Ford for her distinct sound and budding success.

In October 2020, after further developing a relationship with the label, Storm was invited to participate in LVRN’s month-long songwriting camp in Atlanta. She knew it was the opportunity she dreamed of to take the next step in her career. With her guitar and two suitcases full of her most important belongings, Storm made the permanent move to Atlanta. Since making the move she has already left her mark on the city, amassing co-signs from the likes of Diddy, London on da Track, MikeWill Made-It, and more.

Home to an array of breakout artists from the likes of Summer Walker and 6lack to Shelly (fka DRAM) and Westside Boogie, Ford makes history as the first and only songwriter signed to the trailblazing label under LVRN’s new publishing partnership with Warner Chappel. No stranger to making waves in the industry for some time now, Ford is most known as an artist, having released two independent projects and is currently recording for her third. Highest Mountain was unveiled in 2018 as a deeply personal project, detailing the peaks and valleys of various loves. Her most recent body of work In the Moment: A Process, was released in 2019 as a unique, soulful collection of voice notes and demos reflecting on growth and the internal Process.

More recently, Storm was invited to the HBO’s hit series’ Insecure season five writing camp under Issa Rae’s music conglomerate Readio.

About Storm Ford

Storm Ford is a 21-year-old R&B/Soul singer-songwriter from Providence, Rhode Island. Her honest and poetic lyricism invites listeners to heal and grow from past relationships, old wounds or just the challenges of life. Her two projects, Highest Mountain, released on Valentine’s day of 2018, and In the Moment: A Process, released in November of 2019, are full of ideas, representing Ford’s journey towards self-love and acceptance of the things we can’t change. Family, love, lust, hurt, and healing are themes that weave their ways through Storm’s music and what has inspired her audience to connect so deeply, not just with her gift, but with Storm as an artist. Storm’s music has saved lives and she hopes to continue that healing work with her next project which she is currently recording for.

ASTON MARTIN VALKYRIE DECLARED MICHELIN’S SHOWSTOPPER

  • The Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar was voted winner of the illustrious Michelin Supercar Paddock Showstopper of the Festival at FOS
  • The all-electric Rimac Nevera hypercar and the bespoke Glickenhaus SCG 004S road car were runners up
  • Showstopper Award judges Jodie Kidd, Frank Stephenson, Mr JWW and Mike Fernie commended the Valkyrie’s design and pursuit of function over form, making it an instant winner
  • The Michelin Supercar Paddock stage saw a host of special guests and celebrities including Jenson Button, Olly Gavin, James Glickenhaus, Marek Reichman, Paul Swift, Colin Turkington, Darren Turner, Andy Wallace, Oli Webb and Matt Windle
  • Bugatti Chiron Pur Sport, Corvette C8, Koenigsegg Regera, Ford Mach-E 1400, Ferrari SF90 and the all-new Lotus Emira were among the star cars on the Paddock stage

The all-new Aston Martin Valkyrie hypercar has been declared the Michelin Supercar Paddock Showstopper of the Festival at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The Michelin Supercar Paddock Showstopper award was presented to Darren Turner, Marek Reichman and the Aston Martin Valkyrie team by judges Jodie Kidd, legendary designer Frank Stephenson, Mr JWW and DriveTribe’s Mike Fernie.

Chosen for its pursuit of function over form, the judges were impressed with the hypercar’s impeccable road-going credentials, as well as its striking aerodynamic design and mind-blowing performance.

The Aston Martin Valkyrie made its global dynamic debut at Goodwood Festival of Speed and is the first hypercar the legendary British marque has ever produced. The name of the car intentionally evokes images of an otherworldly power, and its performance lives up to that billing. Featuring a huge 6.5-litre V12 hybrid engine capable of delivering 1160 horsepower in a car which is exceptionally lightweight—its 100% carbon fibre chassis and body weigh just over 1,000 kilograms—helping it achieve better than a 1:1 power to weight ratio.

The hypercar takes design and engineering cues from Formula One racing, thanks to collaborative input from Red Bull Racing’s legendary design guru Adrian Newey. The aerodynamics around the car were designed to give F1 standard of performance, downforce and handling. Capable of reaching 0-62mph in a blistering 2.5 seconds, the Valkyrie has an astonishing top speed in excess of 250mph.

The Glickenhaus 004S and the Rimac Nevera were runners up of the Michelin Supercar Paddock Showstopper Award.

Owner Dr. Cecilia Muldoon drove the Glickenhaus SCG 0004S for the first time on the Goodwood Hillclimb and came straight to the Paddock stage to showcase the unique and wonderful supercar. With a supercharged V8 delivering 650bhp, the three-seater with a central driving position and includes some amenities rare in the world of track cars, including air conditioning, Bluetooth speakers and a backup camera.

On the Michelin Supercar Paddock Stage James Glickenhaus described the car as “a road car born on the track.” Judges were extremely impressed with the car’s bespoke design, both inside and out, coupled with the vehicle’s performance and rarity. They felt it was unique and worthy of being a Showstopper finalist.

The judges were also blown away by the outstanding all-electric Rimac Nevera. The Croatian hypercar was a runner up for the award. It produces a staggering 1914 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 1.97 seconds, and from 0 to 300 kph in 9.3 seconds. Each of the Nevera’s wheels are driven by their own electric motor, and each wheel’s torque is automatically adjusted for improved handling.

Other automotive highlights from the Michelin live stage include, Lotus (Emira), Bugatti (Pur Sport), Ferrari (SF90), Porsche (GT3), Zenvo (TSR-S), Callum Design (Vanquish 25), Ford (Mach-E 1400), Corvette (C8), Mini (ePacesetter), BMW (2 Series), Mission H24 (LMPH2G), Koenigsegg (Regera), Everrati (964), The Little Car Company (Baby Bugatti).

Working alongside General Motors for the debut of the all-new RHD Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Michelin had five-time 24 Hours of Le Mans winner and Corvette Ambassador, Oliver Gavin, on the live stage to reveal the model ahead of its first-ever run up the hill. The Supercar Paddock also saw a number of guest appearances talking to presenters Vicki Butler-Henderson and Tim Harvey, including Jenson Button, Oli Webb, Andy Wallace, James Pickford, Colin Turkington, Paul O’Neill, Darren Turner, Caffeine & Machine’s Phil McGovern and Dan Macken, Charlie Cooper, Richard Westbrook, Paul Swift, Mazin and Nabil Naamo, Zach and Raziz.

Green Car by Mina Tocalini for 360 Magazine

Concentric Q×A

In the current age of digital technology, car owners are being forced to consider their vehicle’s susceptibility to ransomware attacks. These malicious cyber-attacks can expose your personal data to online hackers. However, there are certain measures that car owners can take to help prevent security breaches. Proactive car owners are utilizing services like Concentric to safeguard their technology and online identity. 360 Magazine spoke with Laura Hoffner, Chief of Staff at Concentric, and Sam Connour, Concentric Intern, about how to best practice car system security.

What steps can proactive car owners take to protect their vehicles from security threats and hackers?

First, understand that all digital property can be hacked.

Second, as a result, be conscious of what personal technology you connect to or tether with. Understand that if you connect your phone to your car via Bluetooth, someone hacking into your car will then result in vulnerability to your phone (and everything else connected to your phone such as your home Wi-Fi, addresses, credit cards.)

Third, ensure your vehicle’s software is up today. Car makers, like Tesla and Jeep, are known to push out patches for these potential holes hackers can access. Keeping your vehicle up to date will aid in that effort.

Finally, protect that vulnerability by being aware of the modifications you’re making to your vehicle’s software. Don’t let unknown devices connect to your car, and be wary of who has physical access to your vehicle

What makes a car susceptible to ransomware attacks?

Cars are now equal [in terms of susceptibility] to computers as a result of their connectivity capabilities both to the internet and to Bluetooth. If a car is connected to an insecure and unprotected internet connection, hackers are capable of installing malware into a vehicle’s operating or infotainment systems.

What models of cars are the most likely to encounter hacking/privacy issues?

Cars with self-driving capabilities, or features such as lane assist or automatic braking, are particularly at risk. But practically any vehicle made in the past 20 years can be hacked. Generally, vehicles [from] 2007 or newer run a higher risk of personal information being compromised. Car makers, with a warning from the FBI, are taking steps to beef up cybersecurity within their vehicles.

Should customers be weary of certain car brands when buying technology systems for their vehicles? How can consumers find quality retailers with safe car products?

Rather than it being a concern about specific car brands, consumers should instead educate themselves on the risk associated with these vulnerabilities and take proper protocol to mitigate those risks.

Can Concentric offer any services for car owners looking to safeguard their vehicles?

Concentric offers holistic security solutions for our clients. Included in that is a residential risk assessment that can identify specific concerns and vulnerabilities. This is where personal risk associated with property would be assessed, [as well as] physical and behavioral recommendations.

How did your experience as a Naval Intelligence Officer and in the Naval Reserves translate into your current role at Concentric?

Understanding the threat landscape both nationally and internationally– as well as the acknowledgement that we make both micro and macro decisions about risk daily– ultimately prepared me to understand the corporate security landscape. Holistically viewing a problem set and identifying creative solutions are [at] the core of Naval Intelligence, thus it wasn’t a large leap to bring that mindset over with me from the government side.

As Concentrics’ Chief of Staff, what is your best advice regarding car related security?

Car-related security advice is the same as all other security advice we have: educate yourself, your family, and your team to know what risk decisions you are making that have vast implications across your security vulnerability spectrum. Additionally, security is not something to think about when you’re in a crisis. Avoid or better prepare yourself for the crisis beforehand by taking steps to vastly reduce, or eliminate, your vulnerabilities to exploitation.
