FLEETWOOD RV FACTORY TOUR VIDEOS

FLEETWOOD RV® SHARES “HOW THEY’RE MADE” SERIES OF FACTORY TOUR VIDEOS

REV Recreation Group brand Fleetwood RV has released a series of five videos showcasing how their luxury motorhomes are made at their 480,000-square foot manufacturing headquarters in Decatur, IN. The exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour delivers a peek into a few of the steps involved in manufacturing a 16,000 to 30,000 lb. Class A motorhome. The video also introduces some of the engineers, managers, welders, and technicians who design, manufacture, and assemble the various elements of a Fleetwood RV.

Fleetwood RV is one of the most-established brands in the motorhome industry and is known for its quality, innovative features, and family-friendly design options. One of Fleetwood’s most popular models, the Bounder®, is celebrating its 35 anniversary in 2021 and has the distinction of being one of the best-selling motorhomes ever.

The factory tour videos deliver a top-to-bottom look at Fleetwood RV and cover the foundation, lamination process, cabinet shop, assembly, and paint process.

Factory Tour Video Details

The foundation video shares the different types of chassis used for a gas or diesel motorhome and the steel bridging system that is custom built for each floor plan.

The lamination process video shows how the walls, floor, and ceiling are created. Light-weight aluminum framing is welded together, and the cavities are packed with bead foam insulation. The pieces undergo a lamination process that applies consistent pressure for nearly an hour, creating a permanent bond and solid structure.

The cabinet shop video looks at how the cabinetry in a Fleetwood RV is made on-site with the bases, frames, doors, and drawers fashioned from solid wood. The video also shows how the wood scraps and leftover pieces don’t go to waste, instead, they are used to heat the building during the winter months.

The assembly video brings all the individual elements together, including the slide outs. Fleetwood RV uses a proprietary process to ensure a positive slide out fit that eliminates gaps and helps prevent water infiltration. Each slide out is also slightly sloped to the outside to direct water away from the coach.

Finally, there is a video visit to the 120,000-square-foot paint facility. Fleetwood RV has 10 paint booths, and each year applies 164,000 gallons of paint to its coaches. Dependent on the motorhome, there are either three or four base colors applied. After a quality inspection, several layers of clear coat are used to deliver a deep shine and provide years of protection.

By: Emily Bunn x Vaughn Lowery

GoTrax’s EBE2 Electric Bike lets cyclists trek faster and further than ever before. The EBE2 Electric Bike is part of GoTrax’s high series line, which showcases the brand’s e-bikes with the largest motors and longest distance capabilities. The EBE2 is one of GoTrax’s most lightweight and high performance e-bike models.

360 Magazine had the incredible opportunity to test ride GoTrax’s EBE3 on the Ballona Creek Bike Path. We mountain biked over six miles of trails, soaking up sun and the picturesque California landscape. Our exhilarating bike trip with GoTrax led us from Marina Del Rey to Culver City. Reminiscent of canal-side bike trails in Amsterdam, Ballona Creek offered awe-inspiring views during our adventure. We whisked through sandy trails, expeditiously sped alongside Ballona Creek, and enjoyed breathtaking views across LA with GoTrax.

We can’t wait to take the EBE2 out for a spin at other LA cyclist hot-spots, like Elysian Park, Cogswell Dam, Mount Wilson, Marvin Braude/Pacific Coast Bike Path, Griffith Park, and The Rose Bowl Loop Trail.

Save time and money on commuting costs by utilizing the ferocious capability and cost-conscious feasibility of the EBE2. Another protective security measure bikers can take is attaching a horn to their vehicle. This guide can help find the optimal horn for your bike. Considerations to keep in mind while purchasing a bike horn include sound, type of horn, sound modes, size, ease of use, and price.

The EBE2’s included kick stand allows for bikers to prop up their bike while stopped. 360 Magazine recommends checking that the brake system is properly functioning before use. Furthermore, be sure to review the e-bike’s safety warnings.

Ergonomics × Additional Features

Compared to other similar GoTrax models- including its predecessor model (the EBE1) and proceeding model (the EBE4) – the EBE2 reigns triumphant. The EBE2 is able to travel faster and almost double as far as the EBE1. The EBE2’s 26” inch tires towers over both the EBE1 and EBE4 model’s wheels, providing the utmost stability for riders. These wheels are unlikely to get bent, and provide long lasting wear. As compared to regular bikes with spokes, the EBE2’s mag wheels more lightweight, which licenses this e-bike to accelerate faster.

The EBE2 is affordable compared to other e-bikes in its category, such as the NCN Moscow Plus or the ECOTRIC Fat Tire bike. The GoTrax 26” EBE2 Electric Bike also has a more powerful motor than comparable electric bikes, like the NAKTO 26” Caro Electric Bike. The thumb throttle on the EBE2 is relatively smaller than average, which allows it to comfortable fit into rider’s palms.

The EBE2’s original price was $889.99, but this impressive, intrepid e-bike is currently on sale for just $849.99. Upon purchase, orders are generally processed in 24 hours and shipped out for free in 3-5 business days.

This e-bike is easy to assemble, but mobile bike services may be contacted if need be. Cyclists looking for aid in constructing their e-bike should call Velofix– a mobile bike shop with many locations across the United States. For those on the East Coast, Cycle Haus is another trustworthy option for mobile e-bike repair. On the West Coast, Hoopty Bikes Mobile Bike Repair offers 24/7, mobile bike services. Once their e-bike is put together, riders are to be cruising in style wherever they journey on GoTrax’s EBE2 Electric Bike.

All of GoTrax’s products are certified to UL safety standards. If you’re not satisfied, GoTrax offers a 30-day return and 90-day warranty. Furthermore, for additional purchase, customers can add on a 2-year ($74.99) or 3-year ($849.99) warranty plan.

AMAAL RELEASES INTOXICATING VISUAL FOR SINGLE – HONEY

Somali-Canadian singer-songwriter Amaal has returned with a hypnotic, new song and visual for “Honey,” the first single off her highly-anticipated sophomore EP Milly, set to release this fall. The Dan LeMoyne-directed video captures Amaal’s transcendent alter ego Milly, an unapologetic version of herself that embraces intimacy and female autonomy without fear of shame or judgement. Paper Magazine premiered the video earlier today, describing the track as “impossibly slick with cool metallic percussion throughout, as Amaal’s vocals glide smoothly above.”

In the video, Amaal physically and figuratively awakens with slow, jolted movements, shedding old inhibitions and welcoming a sense of sexual liberation considered explicitly taboo in her conservative Muslim community. “The music is a celebration of my womanhood,” she explains. “It’s the sound of me reclaiming my power, my pleasure, myself.” Amaal croons over the melodic beat, produced by GRAMMY-nominated duo Nicky Davey (Beyoncé, Zayn, Syd), as she moves through moody blue, purple and red-orange hues drenched in Cuchara jewelry and ultramodern pieces from Marine Serre, Sho Konishi and Herve Léger (styling by Lebani Osmani). Watch the “Honey” video here, and stream the track here.

ABOUT AMAAL

The fourth of ten children, Amaal began her remarkable journey in war-torn Mogadishu, where she and her family lived until they were forced to flee as refugees in the early 1990s. Starting over fresh in Toronto, she embraced the poetic nature of her cultural heritage but bristled at the conservative structures and customs that came with it, particularly the repressive expectations placed upon women. By the time she hit 20, Amaal had grown bold enough to begin making her own music, but she still felt limited as to what she could sing about, so she focused her creative energy on politically and socially conscious material inspired by the civil unrest in Somalia and the struggles her people faced as a result. It was powerful stuff, to be sure, but there was more to Amaal than being a refugee, and she longed to express the fullness of herself and her story in her art. In 2019, Amaal finally worked up the courage to step outside of her comfort zone with the release of Black Dove, a daringly vulnerable collection that found her reckoning with love and heartbreak and desire in her music for the very first time. Though it felt incredibly risky, the EP was a critical smash, garnering a Juno nomination for Soul/R&B Recording of the Year, racking up millions of streams online, and prompting rave reviews across the board. Complex hailed Amaal’s “airy and ethereal vocals,” while Vibe proclaimed her a singer “like no other,” and Exclaim! dubbed her “an artist that demands attention.” Amaal’s sophomore EP, entitled Milly, will be released fall 2021.

BASTILLE NEW SONG – GIVE ME THE FUTURE

GRAMMY®-nominated and multi-platinum selling band Bastille unveils their new song, “Give Me The Future,” from their upcoming fourth studio album—listen here. The song is featured in the Jeep brand’s new campaign video, “Life Electrified,” out today—watch here.

“Give Me The Future” stands out as classic Bastille through and through. Cavernous production echoes, as synths juxtapose an airy beat. The vocals paint a sci-fi-inspired picture, recalling imagery from Blade Runner and beyond. It all builds towards a spacey and soaring hook, welcoming whatever looms on the horizon along for the ride. As always, Bastille represents the future. Earlier this week, the Jeep brand revealed a portion of the song in a shorter campaign video, which had Bastille fans going wild, guessing the song title and release date.

Of “Give Me The Future,” front man Dan Smith says, “‘Give Me The Future’ is a song about plugging into endless possibilities. Literally, feels like everything is out there for the taking, all tastes catered for. The spaceship sound at the start? It’s us crash landing in the future. The reality we live in at the moment was the science fiction of not that long ago. Take a film like Minority Report. The technology in that seemed so far off, a fantasy. But it’s here, we’re way beyond it already. Had someone told you that 20 years ago, when the film came out… you’d have laughed. Or been terrified.”

Last month, Bastille returned with their latest single, “Distorted Light Beam”—listen here. The song, a gleaming, metallic rush of retro-futuristic pop, was co-written and co-produced with Ryan Tedder alongside the band’s long-time collaborator Mark Crew. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for the band—one that revolutionizes their sound—and hints at a new sonic and visual world to come. “Distorted Light Beam” was released alongside a cinematic official video starring British actress Remmie Milner from the BAFTA-winning series, Save Me—watch here. Set in the future, the video sees a newly developed immersive technology, “Futurescape,” created by pioneering global tech entity, Future Inc., transform life as we know it. Not to mention, “Distorted Light Beam” currently sits in the Top 25 at Alternative Radio, as it continues to fly up the charts as the #3 greatest gainer this week.

As Bastille embarks onto this new chapter, the band is set to perform new music on Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series on August 23rd—be sure to tune in!

“You don’t predict the future, you imagine it.” – Future Inc.

ABOUT BASTILLE:

The four-piece has been experimenting and augmenting the Bastille sound since the release of their last album Doom Days in 2019, the conclusion of an unofficial trilogy. Last year, they released the Goosebumps EP, featuring Graham Coxon on “WHAT YOU GONNA DO???” and producer Kenny Beats on the title track, as they continued to pen songs that seek to understand and offer escape from the modern human condition. Doom Days received huge critical acclaim and charted in the Top 5 in both the U.K. and U.S., the only U.K. band to have achieved this chart landmark alongside The Beatles and Queen in 2019. The record found the band at their most lyrically provocative, most accomplished, and most vital and charts the course of one night in search of distraction from the surrounding apocalypse (sound familiar?). During the course of 2019, the four-piece continued to cement their reputation as one of the world’s most captivating live bands, having played an extensive two month-long sold-out U.S. and U.K. tour. At the beginning of 2020, Bastille received their sixth Brit nomination and their second nomination for British Group. In January 2021, Bastille was the subject of ReOrchestrated, a documentary film that provided a revelatory and bracingly honest new look into the band’s journey so far, framed through their ReOrchestrated shows and diving into themes of motivation, anxiety, and imposter syndrome. This summer, Bastille will headline both Latitude Festival and Standon Calling Festival, with a further two sold-out shows at Hampton Court Palace Festival in August. With over 11 million records sold, 6 U.K. Top 40 singles, and 1.5 billion video views, Bastille continues to be one of the world’s most streamed bands.

Newly Unveiled Lewis & Clark Geotourism Hub

As travelers seek out more authentic ways to connect with people and places, the Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail unveils the ultimate online trip-planning portal, lewisandclark.travel. This website is designed to help visitors learn more about the host communities, local businesses, and attractions located along the 4,900-mile trail that runs from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to the Pacific Ocean. Through the portal’s interactive map guide, travelers can plan themed trips and locate recommendations for lodging, historic places, sustainable communities, natural areas, and tribal lands.

The newly launched website was created through a Geotourism stewardship program overseen by the National Park Service (NPS) and brings together many tourism partners at local, state, and national levels along the Trail, including the American Indian Alaska Native Tourism Association (AIANTA). Geotourism is considered tourism that sustains or enhances the geographic character of a place, its environment, culture, aesthetics, heritage, and the well-being of its residents. Geotourism encompasses a range of travel experiences including culture and heritage, history, food, nature, adventure, the outdoors, water, music, and arts.

“In this historic year of domestic travel, the new Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail experience online portal is a one-stop tool kit for travelers to learn about local communities and find inspiration for outstanding USA road trips,” said Dan Wiley, Senior Leader, Integrated Resource Stewardship, for the National Park Service. “Geotourism is a great way for travelers to connect with people and the places along the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail. The Geotourism project is designed to support our community partners along the Trail by engaging federal, state, tribal, and local governments, tourism organizations, residents, and visitors to promote stewardship through education, interpretation, resource protection, and recreation.”

The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail, administered by the NPS, is more than 4,900 miles long, traversing 16 states and many tribal lands, and follows the historic route of the Lewis and Clark expedition. The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail was designated by U.S. Congress to commemorate the 1803 to 1806 Corps of Discovery Expedition to explore the newly acquired western portion of the United States and ensures this historic expedition is commemorated through the identification, preservation, and interpretation of the Trail route, all while ensuring public use and enjoyment. This epic journey contributed significant scientific knowledge and profound political, social, economic, cultural, and environmental changes to the peoples and landscapes of the North American continent.

The Trail has over 6,600 miles of designated auto tour route, providing visitors access to the historic route through rich recreational, interpretive, and educational opportunities. Many segments of the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail retain landscape characteristics and a sense of place as seen and experienced by the original Lewis and Clark Expedition. The Trail links contemporary authentic communities and cultures, including tribes whose connections span thousands of years, to historic, vibrant, and living landscapes. Whether traveling the entire length of the Trail or a short day trip to a small segment, the travel experience can be greatly enhanced by the amazing possibilities highlighted on this website.

About the Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Geotourism Program

The Lewis and Clark National Historic Trail Geotourism Program is designed to support the natural assets, cultural attractions, and historically important places that make the Lewis and Clark Trail a unique and vibrant tourism attraction. The Program will help the people, places, and businesses connected by the trail to tell the story of what’s unique and authentic about their place and create a resource for travelers to explore the length, breadth, and diversity of the Trail. The foundation is named for Jeff’s late father. The Harold Robinson Foundation’s flagship program, Camp Ubuntu, provides the funding and resources to send kids from South Los Angeles’s disinvested communities to camp, in a safe and nurturing environment, far away from the stress that most of them face on a daily basis. Maggie Rose – Are We There Yet

MAGGIE ROSE SHARES NEW SINGLE ARE WE THERE YETLISTEN

New Album, Have A Seat, Arrives Everywhere Friday, August 20

Have A Seat Album Release Tour Kicks Off This Weekend In Annapolis, Md

Pre-order Have A Seat

Today, the Nashville-based rock and soul singer-songwriter Maggie Rose shares Are We There Yet, the newest single from her upcoming album, Have A Seat, following the releases of the songs Do It, What Are We Fighting For, For Your Consideration, and Saint. Have A Seat is due out on August 20 via Starstruck Records. The album was recorded live at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL, and was produced by Ben Tanner (Alabama Shakes).

Garden & Gun exclusively premiered Are We There Yet earlier today, calling the song an apt entry point to Have a Seat and to Rose’s catalog as a whole, and goes on to say, ‘Are We There Yet’ shows an artist at the top of her craft, and only improving.

LISTEN TO ARE WE THERE YET

Rose heralded the release of Have A Seat with a three-part video series that combined to create an in-depth story. The music video trilogy concept was the brainchild of close friend and acclaimed photographer/videographer Ford Fairchild.

I was lucky enough to watch Maggie bring Have A Seat to life from the beginning and one thing I noticed was how much personal growth she worked through in making this record, says Fairchild. You could tell she was stepping into an alternate universe every time she was in work mode. So when it came time to figure out creative direction, I wanted to show that growth with Maggie working through it over dinner with different versions of herself.

The trilogy began with What Are We Fighting For. It was followed by Saint and then finally For Your Consideration.

We really wanted viewers to get to know the different sides of Maggie individually so we decided to do that in a trilogy, with ‘For Your Consideration’ bringing them all together, continues Fairchild. The dinner table signifies the body of work as a whole so you’ll see nods to each song on the record throughout the trilogy.

Like any great soul singer, Rose beautifully captures the tensions of the current moment, gently presenting her pensive social commentary while providing a much-needed reprieve from the everyday chaos. These songs were written during a contentious time, and there are undertones to the lyrics that are influenced by the state of our world politics and the politics of the music industry, she says. The title Have a Seat is responsible, placing an emphasis on inclusivity, like, Here, sit down. Let’s try talking to each other.’ One of the most loving things we can do is listen and make others feel heard, give people the space to speak their minds and be themselves. However, there’s also an intended meaning to the title that points to the power in occupying the seat that’s designated to you: I am claiming a seat I believe is rightfully mine, and I want others to do the same.

Rose kicked off her extensive album release tour yesterday for the first show of a two-night stand at Rams Head On Stage in Annapolis, MD. See tour dates and purchase tickets here.

About Maggie Rose

Maggie Rose is a Nashville-based singer/songwriter who has dreamed up her own unbridled collision of rock n’ roll, soul, folk, funk, and R&B. She is about to release her third studio album, Have a Seat. Produced by Ben Tanner of Alabama Shakes, Have a Seat came to life at the iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL. In a series of pre-pandemic sessions, Rose recorded live with a lineup of heavy-hitters that includes bassist David Hood of the Swampers (the group of session musicians who played on records from legends like Aretha Franklin and Etta James) and guitarist Will McFarlane (Bonnie Raitt, Levon Helm), along with her longtime bandmates/collaborators Larry Florman (background vocals/percussion), Alex Haddad (guitars), and Sarah Tomek (drums) of Them Vibes. Also featuring an esteemed string section and swampy horn ensemble, in a way that’s never been so integral to Rose’s sonic aesthetic, Have a Seat continues the free-flowing musical exploration she first began on her powerhouse 2018 album Change the Whole Thing. Centered on the stunning vocal command she’s revealed in taking the stage at The Grand Ole Opry over 80 times, Have a Seat finds Rose approaching her music with more confidence and clarity of vision than ever, ultimately sharing a selection of songs both timeless and urgent. In 2019, Rose toured with Heart, Joan Jett & the Blackhearts, and Kelly Clarkson. She also shared the Cayamo Cruise bill with Emmylou Harris and Jason Isbell.

Rolls-Royce Hosts Young Designer Competition

Motor car handover ceremonies are an important part of the Rolls-Royce experience. But the marque has delivered a very unusual car to an extremely important person in somewhat unusual circumstances.

Rather than the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood, the setting was the playground at St Saviour’s & St Olave’s School, a fully inclusive, highly successful Church of England school for girls in inner-city Southwark, South London. The guest of honour was Sofia, UK regional winner in the marque’s global Young Designer Competition held in 2020.

As part of her prize, Rolls-Royce presented a complete new Greenpower car kit to her school to be used in future events run by the Greenpower Education Trust. This UK-based charity aims to inspire young people to excel in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects through designing, building and racing an electric car.

The kit comprises a standard chassis, motor and batteries. It’s left to the team to design and build the bodywork themselves. Sofia and nine friends, all currently in 8th grade, have formed ‘The Rolls Racers’ to create their car. The team will receive advice and support from Gavin Hartley, Head of Bespoke Design at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars and one of the Young Designer Competition judges.

For all the right reasons, the Greenpower car kit is supplied in a series of highly practical but prosaic packing cases. Rolls-Royce felt this lacked the proper celebratory feel for a national prize-giving. Accordingly, the occasion was graced by the official Greenpower demonstration car, finished in a striking gold livery, and a magnificent Wraith, the most powerful Rolls-Royce ever made, brought to London specially from Goodwood.

Although both cars represent the very best of their kind, neither can match the features or capabilities of Sofia’s winning entry in the Young Designer Competition. Her Bumble Bee 5000 is driverless, and equipped with comfortable tables and chairs, a disco ball, the best surround sound system, WIFI, GPS, a hook for luggage and much more; it also changes colour depending on the occasion or season.

Launched in April 2020, the competition was devised to provide a creative outlet for children aged 16 and under confined by Covid-19 lockdown restrictions. It proved an instant and spectacular success, eventually attracting more than 5,000 entries from over 80 countries.

Asked only to design their ‘dream Rolls-Royce of the future,’ children had complete creative freedom, allowing them to develop ideas of astonishing scope, complexity and vision far beyond the realms of automotive design. Winning entries included designs inspired by (among many other things) unicorns, turtles, space travel, the Egyptian pyramids and Pablo Picasso.

Although the worldwide event ended in June last year, the format is currently being reprised in a Young Designer Competition recently launched by Rolls-Royce Lebanon.

Set To Launch Blockbuster Music Video From Three Perspectives On Each Artist’s Facebook Page

Watch The First Visual Exclusively On Julia Michaels’ Facebook Here

Three of the hottest artists in the world, KHEA, Julia Michaels, and Becky G, have united for a joint single entitled Only One featuring Di Genius. Get it HERE via This Is M Records/Interscope Records.

This blockbuster collaboration embodies the intersection of genres and cultures on one instantly irresistible bilingual anthem with Argentine trap phenom KHEA, Mexican-American global superstar Becky G, and Southern California-raised Grammy nominated,  multi-platinum singer and songwriter Julia Michaels. It all happens over a laid-back guitar-laden beat from Grammy winning Jamaican producer Di Genius (Drake, Shakira). Read about how the song came together on Rolling Stone, HERE.

This one of a kind effort required an equally massive rollout, so (instead of just one) three music videos will accompany the track. Directed by NAVS and produced by Compostela Films & Arts, the visuals depict a high-octane escape from a futuristic prison shot at the real-life Mira Loma Detention Center in Lancaster, CA (previously used by I.C.E.). In order to tell the story, the artists star in their own respective narratives. Additionally, Di Genius makes a very special cameo, becoming a catalyst for the big break…

The first video, told from Julia’s point-of-view, just premiered exclusively on her Facebook Page. Watch it HERE. The second drops on Becky G’s Facebook Page on July 22nd. The final video premieres on KHEA’s Facebook Page and all video platforms on July 29th.
