Sam says, “It’s been a unique journey this past 18 months, having my songs travel further around the world than I’ve been able to and not getting to meet the people who have given me this life I now lead has been a bit heartbreaking, so to be announcing a tour feels surreal, but here we are. The support I’ve had in both the UK & US has been incredible and I can’t wait to be on stages, doing what I love the most & finally meeting everyone, for the first time.”
Sam’s debut single This Cityis currently sitting on over 500 million worldwide streams and was Top 20 in the UK for 11 weeks. The track has gone double platinum in Australia, platinum in the UK and Gold in the US, New Zealand, and Switzerland. He’s also had some incredible US TV performances on Ellen, Jimmy Kimmel, and The Late Late Show With James Corden.
Australian-born Sam Fischer first introduced himself with his Not A Hobby EP and has garnered incredible attention through his soulful voice and heartfelt lyrics. Touring North America with his friend Lewis Capaldi, he wowed crowds with his buoyant personality and pure love and talent for songwriting. Now based in LA, he not only has received acclaim for his own work, but he continues to solidify his spot as one of the hottest current writers, having worked with global pop superstars including Ciara, Lennon Stella, Louis Tomlinson, Elle King, Jessie J, Virginia To Vegas and many more.
However, it hasn’t all been plain sailing for Sam, who endured his own heartache to achieve his dreams. With the promise of a recording contract in the bag, he set off to LA only for the deal to be pulled away. After months of couch-surfing, he finally and deservedly received his break with This City and album Homework which has been just the amazing start of an exciting new chapter in Sam’s career.
His relatable lyrics and unique, resonant sound are a staple of his work from his debut song, Lean, to his newest release, Simple. Sam’s impressive skill will be on full display this fall in A Simple Tour.

“sleek, soulful, heartache-infused love songs” – NPR
“A triple threat of an artist with plenty to offer” – Pitchfork
“lovelorn songs that reconcile the sultry sounds of D’Angelo, Prince, and Frank Ocean with Mexican soul and traditional corridos” – Rolling Stone
About Omar Apollo:
Omar Apollo is one of R&B’s most exciting shape-shifters. As the 23-year-old singer/songwriter prepares his debut album, he’s holding close to music that feels inventive, experimental, and true to his wide-ranging passion. R&B remains the foundation, but Apollo is branching out with a bilingual fusion of funk, pop, electronic, hip-hop, reggaeton, and corridos. Apollo has been a transformative but linear journey, from listening to Brandy and Stevie as a kid, to plucking away at a guitar at 11, to self-releasing a pair of EPs as a young man like 2018’s album Stereo and 2019’s Friends, which established his signature bedroom soul style and earned him love from fans and press (Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, FADER, et al.). As unique as his sound is, Apollo has gotten as much attention for his lyrics and themes of romantic yearning and self-improvement swirled up with expressions of cultural heritage and identity. Now, he is leaning even more into all of it, making music that feels closer to his heart than ever. In 2020, he released his quarantine project Apolonio. But as he finishes up his LP, he’s dreaming bigger, bringing in collaborators, and pushing himself harder than ever before. He’s more self-assured and wants the rest of the world to catch up to what his fans have been seeing from the beginning. “I used to think I wasn’t built for this because I’m just a kid from Indiana,” says Apollo. “But that thought is gone now. I know what to do. Everything just feels right.”
About Maye:
Singer/Songwriter born in Caracas, Venezuela, and raised in Miami. Her first single, “My Love” received critical acclaim. Her lyrics reflect the romantic nostalgia of Billie Holiday, hints of Sade, and a sultry pop sound that references Miami heat.

Sera Labs, a subsidiary of CURE Pharmaceutical Holding Corp. (OTC: CURR), announced today a new ad campaign and launch of Seratopical Revolution, a new clean, plant-based, technologically advanced, anti-aging, ‘revolutionary,’ beauty line.
The line touts 11 luxurious products which are all are made in the U.S., available at accessible pricing, and are designed to make you feel more youthful and hydrated from head to toe. Award-winning actress Nicole Kidman, Sera Labs’ strategic business partner and global brand ambassador, collaborated with Sera Labs to design the Loving Hands Essential Oil, Indulgence Brown Sugar Scrub, Harmony Face & Neck Toner, and Gleaming for the ultimate brightening glow. The full line of products can be seen at Seratopical Revolution.

I am so excited to share them with the world and hope everyone loves them as much as we do.”
Seratopical Revolution marries nature and science into one clean and nourishing line of beauty products. The line’s PꝫP complex, developed by CURE Pharmaceutical, drives natural, plant-based ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin by utilizing a proprietary tri-peptide delivery system. Unlike other companies that use alcohol as a delivery system, which is incredibly drying to the skin, Seratopical Revolution’s natural oil and surfactant delivery systems are efficacious and offer almost immediate results.
“It’s been an incredible ride creating this line with Nicole,” said Nancy Duitch, Sera Labs CEO and CURE Pharmaceutical Chief Strategic Officer. “There are a lot of beauty companies, but the problem is that most of them don’t understand that without an effective delivery system, the products are sitting on top of your skin and clogging your pores. Our proprietary formulators have developed a high-tech delivery system which allows the ingredients to go deep into the skin. Our loyal customers will benefit from scientifically backed ingredients that are designed to enhance hydration and rejuvenate collagen. Revolution offers a full-body line packed with natural plant extracts and peptide blends.”

“Diana DeMuth, a combination of old-soul songwriting and youthful optimism, brings a unique feel to her music that can sometimes feel like country-Adele while others a sound all to her own… there is much expected for DeMuth in 2020 and beyond.” – American Songwriter
“Diana DeMuth is something of an indie-folk fireball. The singer-songwriter has set the scene ablaze with her searingly honest songwriting that’s met by the richly poignant vocals through which she delivers it” – Pop Matters
Diana DeMuthshares a tearful, video for her single “Photographs” from her debut album, Misadventure, out now.The video provides an introspective look into a love DeMuth‘s romance with a woman that dwindled out. The face-to-face and heavy-hearted video shows DeMuth and her once-partner in the midst of a final goodbye and last embrace, closing out this chapter of their story together. Nicolas Sutton Bell (The Lumineers, Jeremiah Fraites)directed the video and invoked powerful visual metaphors to convey the intense emotions of the single. You can listen to MisadventureHERE. You can watch the music video for “Photographs” HERE.
On the song, DeMuth says, “Photographs is a very personal song for me, it’s about being in love with another woman – but I think the message rings true to any and all kinds of relationships. It’s really about having the courage to love someone, no matter what they are on the outside, and how these kind of rare loves can fall to ruins and leave haunting pictures tattooed in your mind’s eye.”
She adds, “This video was a very intimate and vulnerable one to shoot. It was important to me and my director Nick for my performance to reflect the raw and universal nature of a song about looking back on a love gone wrong. Being so close to another person after a year of isolation and singing directly at them ended up being an emotional experience for me and brought me back to the original feeling that inspired these lyrics.”
Director Nicolas Sutton Bell says,“With this video, I really wanted to portray the intimacy of the lyrics through the visuals. We thought it would be powerful to see two lovers facing off and letting the viewer place their own backstory on them. Diana carries the connection and history of these two lovers in the most amazing way, ending on the tears of truly letting a past love go.”
Simone Felice produced DeMuth’s 2020 debut album, Misadventure, along with David Baron. Felice was also named one of Billboard‘s Top 10 rock producers right now. Felice has also worked with The Lumineers, who DeMuth has announced tour dates with, as well as with Jade Bird, Vance Joy, Bat For Lashes, Noah Kahan, Phoebe Bridgers, Felice Brothers, Conor Oberst and Matt Maeson.
Expanding on the vision and story of the album, producer Simone Felice says, “Diana’s voice and her poetry always transport me to a teenage summer night, mischief and wonder down dark country roads, the northern lights dancing in the distance. Misadventure is the gateway drug into her world, I have a strong feeling it will be a long and winding road trip full of soul and mystery for years to come.”
With a few surprises coming, and stadiums that will soon be filled with DeMuth’s voice, melodies and story, 2021 will surely see her name stamped on new fan’s hearts. Stay tuned for more Diana DeMuth announcements, and be sure to check out the debut album, out now.
Biography by Ilana Kaplan:
Restless and ready to pave her own way, Diana DeMuth has burst onto the singer-songwriter scene with an arresting perspective about life, love and self-discovery.
Growing up on the coast of Massachusetts, DeMuth was immersed in a bohemian upbringing where she moved from place to place with hippie parents. That same restless spirit inhabited DeMuth: she always had a sense that there was something out there beyond where she grew up and that existence. After seeing The Avett Brothers from the front row when she was 13, DeMuth was enamored with their raw performance and hunger on stage. In that moment, she knew she wanted to be an artist one day. So at 19, after going to college for one week, DeMuth left because she was certain music was her path. For the past five years, she’s focused on just that, spending her time traveling and playing small gigs around America, while waitressing and honing her craft.
In her travels, she spent time in London. Feeling aimless, she ended up writing “Hotel Song,” which would become the lead track of her forthcoming album Misadventure. “I just busted out of this hotel/ Took all of my belongings/ And I ran for it,” DeMuth belts in the opening line over stark keys. For DeMuth, the song was a breaking point: a door opening into a new chapter of her life. The track’s vagabond chorus evokes the liberating feeling of driving down an empty road with nothing but your dreams, destiny and the windows down. You can watch “Hotel Song” HERE.
At the same time DeMuth began looking for a producer who would be a match for her music. Through her love of The Lumineers and Jade Bird, she stumbled upon multi-platinum record producer Simone Felice, who in a serendipitous twist of fate, had also in his past worked on The Avett Brothers’ seminal album I and Love and You. (Things fell even more into place when Scott Avett ended up penning one of the tracks on the record with DeMuth, “The Young & The Blind.”)
To record her debut album Misadventure, DeMuth and Felice teamed up with Felice’s longtime collaborator David Baron at a Catskill Mountain house overlooking the Ashokan Reservoir outside Woodstock where the music flowed quickly and freely, and together they began to record her record. Inspired by everything from the Bonnie Raitt that was playing in her house growing up to The Lumineers and Brandi Carlile, DeMuth’s penchant for evocative storytelling and folk sensibilities shine through the 10-track record. And through those songs, DeMuth tells the story of her journey to self-discovery.
On “Signs,” she contemplates her identity and what her path will look like: “All my life I’ve tried my hand at reading the signs/ But I’m still blind/ Still counting the things I need in the night.” In-between the ringing of tambourine bells, DeMuth confronts the constant need for something more. On “Photographs,” co-written by Felice, DeMuth further dives into the human condition, reeling from the raw, devastation in the aftermath of a breakup. With “Rose of Nantucket,” DeMuth returns to the restlessness of “Hotel Song,” her smokey vocals chanting the chorus, “If you get lost in the howling rain/Cause some fucker changed that sign post to lead you astray.” You can watch “Rose of Nantucket” HERE. “Into My Arms” picks up where “Rose of Nantucket” leaves off with a more upbeat DeMuth flaunting her sassy lilt on the chorus. You can watch “Into My Arms” HERE. You can watch another song, “Steady Rolling,” HERE.
For DeMuth, who struggled with ADD growing up, songs were her doorway into prose and fiction. Misadventure reads as a novel with each song an illuminating chapter of DeMuth’s life. What she’s created is a musical tapestry of what it’s like to go through the cycle of losing yourself, fumbling in the dark and ultimately finding your way.
Innovative Research Reveals Genes That Influence Osteoporosis
Researchers at the University of Virginia School of Medicine have taken a new approach to understanding how our genes determine the strength of our bones, allowing them to identify several genes not previously known to influence bone density and, ultimately, our risk of fracture.
The work offers important insights into osteoporosis, a condition that affects 10 million Americans, and it provides scientists potential new targets in their battle against the brittle-bone disease.
Importantly, the approach uses a newly created population of laboratory mice that allows researchers to identify relevant genes and overcome limitations of human studies. Identifying such genes has been very difficult but is key to using genetic discoveries to improve bone health.
“Genome-wide association studies have revolutionized the identification of regions of the human genome that influence bone mineral density. However, there are challenges to using this information to help patients, such as identifying the specific genes involved. Additionally, such studies have focused only on bone mineral density, although many other aspects of bone contribute to bone strength and risk of fracture but cannot be measured in humans,” said Charles Farber, PhD, of UVA’s Center for Public Health Genomics and Department of Public Health Sciences. “The ability to use mice in a novel way has allowed us to begin to overcome the challenges associated with human genome-wide association studies.”
Understanding Osteoporosis and Bone Strength
Genome-wide association studies have identified more than 1,000 locations on our chromosomes where genes are found that influence bone mineral density (BMD), a strong predictor of how likely an individual is to experience a bone fracture. But bone mineral density is only one factor in bone strength. Farber and his colleagues wanted to get a more complete picture.
They created a resource by collecting information on 55 different skeletal characteristics in hundreds of mice and then used an approach called systems genetics to analyze the data. The analysis identified a total of 66 genes that contribute to BMD, including 19 not previously linked to BMD.
Of the 19, the researchers were able to determine that two, SERTAD4 and GLT8D2, likely affect bone mineral density through cells that form bone called osteoblasts. This ability to determine the cell types that genes use to perform biological processes is one of the great strengths of systems genetics analysis, the researchers say.
The scientists also found that another gene, QSOX1, plays an important role in determining the mass and strength of the outer, “cortical” layer of bone. This type of bone makes up 80% of our skeleton and is vital for bone strength and weight-bearing.
In addition to providing new insights into osteoporosis, the new findings highlight the tremendous potential of using mice to identify important genes in humans, Farber says.
“The information we generated from mice can be used in the future to evaluate these newly identified genes as potential drug targets,” said Basel Al-Barghouthi, of UVA’s Center for Public Health Genomics, who led the analysis. “Furthermore, these approaches can be applied across a wide range of diseases.”
Findings Published
The researchers have published their findings in the scientific journal Nature Communications. The research team consisted of Al-Barghouthi, Larry D. Mesner, Gina M. Calabrese, Daniel Brooks, Steven M. Tommasini, Mary L. Bouxsein, Mark C. Horowitz, Clifford J. Rosen, Kevin Nguyen, Samuel Haddox, Emily A. Farber, Suna Onengut-Gumuscu, Daniel Pomp and Farber.
Holkenborg, also known as Junkie XL, will compose a +20 minute musical score based on an interview with the winner to be the “Soundtrack of Your Life.”
Holkenborg will release a new single ‘Despite All That Was’ alongside an NFT drop featuring three original art pieces from Space Renders on NFT platform AmplifyX, built on the energy efficient Tezos blockchain. 10% of the auction gross will be donated to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Earth Alliance charity.

Tom Holkenborg, one of Hollywood’s most coveted composers, has announced he will be minting a truly one-of-a-kind offering, by creating the score to someone’s life. Holkenborg is a blockbuster composer, whose credits include Zack Snyder’s Justice League, Mad Max: Fury Road, Deadpool and Godzilla vs Kong. He has built a reputation for pushing the envelope as a full-contact composer, and has worked with directors including Peter Jackson, Robert Rodriguez, James Cameron, Tim Miller and Zack Snyder among others. The ‘Soundtrack to Your Life’ Auction Begins Noon EST on June 16, 2021 on AmplifyX, an NFT platform built on the energy efficient Tezos blockchain.

The NFT auction is a chance to have one of Hollywood’s singular composers write a truly personalized audio odyssey for you or a loved one. Institutional entrants are also welcome to participate in the bidding.
“This is my first real exploration of the blockchain, I am definitely curious to experiment more, drawn to its transparency and decentralized approach,” said Tom Holkenborg. “Beneath the hype, it still feels quite punk rock and DIY, and I believe that major possibilities exist within the blockchain to help empower creators. It’s always good to think about expanding the limits of how and where music can go, and to collaborate with artists in other mediums. I’m certainly not first in the NFT space, but I thought the Soundtrack Of Your Life was my chance to add something different and make something totally unique. It’s going to be fun!”
The NFT Open Collection will include the first original non-film related work from Tom since 2012, the single “Despite All That Was” and three original pieces of artwork in collaboration with visual artist Space Renders (Juan Piana) who has previously worked with creators like Camila Cabello, Machine Gun Kelly, Jake Paul and others.

For pineappleCITI, rhymes and raps spring right from the heart as she approaches each song, project, album, and show with equal reverence for nineties East Coast storytelling and old-school Motown catharsis. Endorsed early on by The FADER, PAPER, Complex, and Billboard, in addition to being labeled one of the ‘25 Underrated Female Rappers’ by Okayplayer, the New Jersey-born MC provides a simultaneously unique and universal perspective to her music. With a focus on songs that feature motivational lyricism and powerful messages, she has released a number of recent singles, including “Recognize,”“Believe,” and “Lift Me Up,” the latter of which was dedicated to the Black Lives Matter movement and victims of police brutality.
Kelvin Boakye AKA Serious Klein is an English rapping MC that has emerged out of the underground hip-hop scene in Germany. His debut EP, The Serious Outlook in 2012 put Klein on the map in his small German city. His following EPs The Introduction in 2015 and Summer 03’s Problem in 2016 gained Klein more popularity within his local market and a new found recognition in the US & UK. His sound, which he describes as ‘art rap,’ is an eclectic mix of jazz, rap, hip-hop, trap, and soul. His intrinsically diverse sound stems from his love of music of all kinds and is heavily influenced by artists ranging from 2Pac to Luther Vandross. 2016 brought Serious in contact with international artists such as Denzel Curry, Mick Jenkins, The Underachievers, and Bryson Tiller, some of who he supported on European tour dates. Support from The FADER, COLORS, Majestic Casual, REVOLT, Complex, and more are signs that this young artist is one to keep an eye on.
