car sharing phoenix for use by 360 Magazine

Car Sharing Has Benefits Related to Sustainability

The individuals who focus on using car-sharing services sometimes do so because it’s a sustainable choice. While many people focus on the personal benefits associated with ride and car sharing, plenty of other customers care just as much about the broader social benefits of these services.

Reduced Driving

People who need car sharing services in cities like Phoenix should be able to call ahead and successfully get a ride whenever it’s necessary. Plenty of modern customers do use a ride and car-sharing services frequently. However, the people who have private vehicles at home will still probably drive more frequently than the customers who primarily use car-sharing services.

Driving can be a leisurely experience to get off of the house. Some might not have a specific destination in mind. Driving has been a recreational activity for a while by this point. When experts consider the environmental impact of automobiles, they often discuss the more practical reasons why people tend to drive cars.

However, there have still been people all throughout the twentieth century who tended to drive just because they liked to do so. Those individuals usually didn’t consider the environmental consequences of recreational driving. Even if public transportation had been easily accessible and available to them, they wouldn’t have chosen it instead, because the act of driving itself was the point.

Car sharing customers usually won’t decide to get rides just for their own sake. They might enjoy these rides, but they wouldn’t pay for the rides if they weren’t trying to reach a particular location.

While it’s possible to help the environment in many ways, the people who drive less frequently will promote environmental sustainability particularly successfully. Some people truly can’t take fewer rides, but many other individuals can make that lifestyle change.

It will be genuinely difficult to reach some sustainability goals if modern people continue to drive the way car owners did throughout the twentieth century. The widespread use of car-sharing services is helping a lot of people find a viable alternative all at once.

Cultural Changes

In many ways, car-sharing teaches people to focus on the wider impacts of each individual car ride. Many car owners have a very casual approach to driving and operating vehicles. They drive regardless of whether it’s strictly necessary, and they drive because they feel like spending time outside. Some of these people might not mind spending more money on gasoline, even as gasoline prices increase.

It’s easy for people to avoid thinking of the implications of these kinds of actions. For a long time, it’s been normal for people to approach driving in a very individualistic way. However, many people are now trying to modify their normal habits to make society more sustainable. It’s particularly important for all people to use less fuel and energy, especially regarding driving.

Drivers might also feel that unless they use a car consistently and frequently enough, they’ll have wasted money by purchasing the machine in the first place. Those people will be able to hold onto the cars that they do have for longer periods of time if they start using car sharing services, of course. They might be able to avoid buying new cars again for a while, potentially saving a little money.

People certainly don’t need to stop driving altogether to adopt more sustainable lifestyles. It’s common for some individuals to drive for several hours every day. When millions of people have habits like this, it can have negative environmental effects. If millions of people are riding in cars sparingly as they use car-sharing services, all society will quickly use less fuel.

Easy Ways to Keep Your Car Perfectly Maintained

So you finally bought a new car–or at least, new to you–and you want to keep it running and looking as new as can be. Here are some long-term car maintenance tips that you can use to ensure that.

Be Careful While Driving

Nothing will ruin your car faster than getting into an accident. By getting into the habit of checking your mirrors before you get on the road and making sure all of the turn signals are working, you can see and be seen while maneuvering through traffic.

Fluids Matter

Just like your body, your car needs to have all of the right fluids at the proper levels. Make sure to check the oil at the recommended intervals, as well as check other fluids such as transmission and coolant. When the fluid levels are all properly monitored, the engine operates under much less stress than it would otherwise.

Wash and Wax

While you may not think of washing and waxing your car as a form of maintenance, it really is. By washing your car on a regular basis. as well as waxing it, you can do more than just give a nice shine to the vehicle. You are removing dirt and grime that can damage the exterior of the car. In certain areas of the country, your car may even be subject to road salt that can eat away at your car and destroy the undercarriage. If you are unsure of the proper washing and waxing techniques, you can check out a guide that provides pro tips on how to get the job done.

Watch Your Tires

Driving on balding tires can prove to be extremely dangerous. When the tires have a lack of traction, they can easily spin out of control. If the tires are too worn, they may actually blow out while you are driving. To maintain the tread of the vehicle, always make sure the tires are inflated to the recommended pressure level.

Don’t Ignore the Signs

All cars have warning lights that indicate there is a problem with the vehicle. It is never a good idea to ignore these. As soon as possible after a warning light comes on, take the vehicle into a mechanic or an auto parts store and have them figure out the issue is–otherwise it could lead to a more severe long-term issue.

You Get What You Pay For

While you should avoid shops that overcharge, you should also avoid mechanics that are always trying to give cheap repairs or use improper techniques. Find a mechanic who stands behind their work, but who also uses quality parts to get the job done. Failure to do so may result in vehicle degradation, accidents, and even void the warranty that naturally comes with newer cars. You’ll be glad you went with quality over price.

New York is also known, of course, for the city’s spectacular Broadway productions. Guests can become a part of the interactive, behind-the-scenes journey of exploring the most iconic Broadway shows. Whether you want to follow in Lin-Manuel Miranda’s footsteps and compose Broadway music scores, style the cast’s wardrobe, or act and sing your heart out, you can play your part at Madame Tussauds’ New York Broadway experience. Don’t miss your curtain call on this exciting opportunity.

Escapade along the eerie, underground NY subway tracks and explore the dark basement of a haunted mansion while keeping your eyes peeled for ghosts and goblins galore. Beware of several spooks along the way as you bust ghosts and meet stars such as Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, Melisa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig. Fans of the franchise can even take a spin on the Ecto-2.

With Marvel’s 4D experience, guests can feel a part of the movie with 3D film technologies including experiential sensory effects. Viewers are put in the middle of the action when viewing this incredible 4D film. Feel the wind and water, and even smells the same scents at the same time as your favorite heroes in the movie.

Guests are invited to face their greatest nightmares in the Coney Island Carnival Carnage Game. This 7D, multi-sensory experience invites guests to shoot lasers at enemies, ride carnival attractions, and spin the Wheel of Misfortune–all while running from killer clowns. This adrenaline-packed nightmare promises a rich gaming experience that may keep you awake at night–that is, if you can escape.

All of Madame Tussauds’ zones and experiences allow guests to get up more close and personal with their favorite Hollywood celebrities and figures than ever before. Madame Tussauds is available for group visits, school visits, corporate events, and even birthday parties. We went on a Friday afternoon, and had a blast exploring the five stories of experiential fun. The figures we found most lifelike were Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus. All three figures of Michael Jackson impressed us, and we loved seeing his evolution through time. Our favorite zone was Ghostbusters– the subway set mirrored NYC’s own actual subways, which felt both surreal and cinematic. Those interested in visiting Madame Tussauds can visit this website for ticket purchase and further details. The wax museum is currently operating at reduced capacity and is following all COVID-19 protocols.

Reebok × House of Ninja – Fierceness Isn’t Born. It’s Made

Reebok and Iconic Ballroom ‘House of Ninja’ Show That “Fierceness Isn’t Born. It’s Made” to Celebrate Pride 2021

Today, Reebok releases their 2021 Pride campaign film, “Fierceness Isn’t Born. It’s Made,” starring Iconic Ballroom House of Ninja in tandem with the launch of this year’s All Types of Love Pride collection. The collection was designed by Reebok’s LGBTQIA+ employee community, Colorful Soles, who partnered with House of Ninja to amplify the collection through their own legendary ballroom perspective and history.

With this year’s collection, Colorful Soles wanted to pay homage to ballroom culture and what it has brought to not only the LGBTQIA+ community, but humanity on a global scale. The culture has inspired so many trends of colloquialisms, fashion, art, music, and most importantly advocacy, which is why Willi Ninja created House of Ninja in the 1980’s to be a safe-house for members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

In the campaign film, House of Ninja’s Archie Burnett, Javier Madrid, Aisha Murray, and Elizabeth Rivera illustrate the craft of movement that makes up ballroom culture which continues to be a safe haven for many of the LGBTQIA+ community. “It is easy to walk on the dark side, you have to fight for the light. And that takes work. Fierceness isn’t born, it’s made,” said Archie Burnett.

This unisex sized collection includes Pride flag inspired design details as well as a Progress Pride Flag product tag. Each of the shoes in the range includes the All Types of Love manifesto on the tongue or sock liner.  The footwear collection features: Classic Leather ($85), Club-C ($85), InstaPump Fury OG ($170), Zig Kinetica II ($120), Nano X1 ($130), and Floatride Energy 3.0 ($100). The Pride flag inspired apparel collection includes: Oversized Tee with reactive UV color changing ink ($35), Crop workout Tank ($35), Bike shorts ($40), and Hoodie ($55) all featuring the Progress Pride Flag and All Types of Love manifesto on the product label.

As part of its ongoing mission to create an inclusive community of acceptance, Reebok continues to support the LGBTQIA+ community both internally and externally and recognizes that it must start with the youth. So, in addition to a full unisex adult size range, this year’s collection also includes unisex kids Pride Classic Leather for two size ranges: Children ($55) and Infant ($40)!

And, to honor, uplift, and affirm the TGNCI community, Reebok is donating $75,000 to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project, an organization working to guarantee that all people are free to self-determine their gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence.

The full collection is now available to purchase on Reebok’s website.

CMTEN - MUSIC BOX EP via Warner Records for use by 360 Magazine

CMTEN – MUSIC BOX

Bubbling up with a distinct and diverse sense of sonic alchemy, 19-year-old CMTEN unveils his anxiously awaited debut EP, MUSIC BOX, available today on Masked Records/Warner Records and features the track “angel (so bad),” which premiered earlier this week on Apple Music. Click HERE to stream MUSIC BOX EP.

This nine-song project ebbs and flows between manic electronic transmissions, warm piano, and simultaneously shuddering and soothing vocalizations moving in sync at full throttle towards 21st century pop oblivion. There are wide variations with each song in terms of content, style, and even genre. You get Nintendo-inspired songs and you also get punk. “angel (so bad)” pairs heavenly keys and warbling vocal delivery as he details romantic follies. Then, there’s “sorry I don’t get what you’re saying” where gorgeous piano underscores ponderous lyrics. Everything culminates on “walking to a place I’ve never been.” Acoustic guitar wraps around thumping bass as he cleverly decries, “Open up the spreadsheet, tally all my mistakes,” before one last hypnotic hook.

CMTEN explains: “Although MUSIC BOX is technically an EP, I see it more as a random collection of cool-ass music. The project consists of several songs that vary drastically in style, coming together to showcase every little thing that makes the creation of music so fulfilling to me. Whether a track is something emotional, experimental, or just straight-up fun, each has a special place in my heart. I’m constantly experimenting with different sounds, styles, and influences, so it only makes sense that my debut body of work reflects that. So, when it comes down to it, MUSIC BOX is all about the magic of making music just for the hell of it. I love these songs, and I hope you will, too.”

After racking up nearly 60 million total streams thus far and averaging 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, CMTEN set the stage for the EP with a series of fan favorites, including the title track “MUSIC BOX,” “BORED” and “ALONE” feat. RILEY THE MUSICIAN. Of the latter, Lyrical Lemonade raved, “These two use all the passionate and learned energy in their bodies to craft together a brief, yet impactful experience that not only proves these previously-mentioned ideas, but at the same time, an experience that stands out as a simply blissful pop offering by itself.” He also caps off the EP with his 2020 breakthrough single  “Never Met!” feat. Glitch Gum.

In the seventies, eighties, or nineties, this story might’ve started in a garage with a guitar…However, the genre-smashing artist, songwriter, producer/mixer, vocalist, and San Francisco Bay area native unassumingly turned his University of Utah dorm room into ground zero for Glitchcore in early 2020. Translating a passion for old school pop punk and the likes of 100 gecs, Porter Robinson and Soundcloud Rap into a sound of his own, he uploaded “NEVER MET!” and organically attracted a groundswell of support to the tune of 30 million total streams, 1 million-plus TikTok videos, and more.

MDee Beauty

MDee Beauty has lipsticks, matte liquid lipsticks, and lip glosses developed for every skin type. MDee Beauty uses paraben-free ingredients, pampers lips, including vitamin E, shea butter and avocado oil, keeping lips smooth and moisturized, for long-lasting results. While founder Deidra Smith was choosing the colors and tints, she kept in mind daily life for the everyday woman, regardless of ethnicity. For summer lipstick trends, Deidra recommends using bold reds and sultry pinks, with a pop bright orange and some neutrals.

She says, You can wear your hair pulled back in a cute ponytail, down curly or straight, with a natural glam face and a natural, yet golden eye. Apply concealer on lips first, along with a red/pink lip pencil for bold look.

Smith also recommends preventing lipstick stains on teeth by rubbing translucent powder over lipstick application or taking one finger in between lips and pulling through. This will remove product inside of lips and prevent it from transferring to teeth.

Which is the best MDee product for long-lasting wear? Matte lipstick is ideal for full day wear and minimal smudging. What Mdee products to blend? Glosses and lipsticks pair amazingly together. You can match any color for a glam lip slay or  pair a casually glam graphic tee, distressed jean and pump heel for a fierce girls night or sexy slip dress and kitten heel for a hot date night.

For a natural shine, apply one or two coats onto the center of lips and brush towards the outer corners. The product is buildable, so if you desire more color, add another coat. The cost of the lipsticks are $12 and the lip glosses are $14. The liquid lipsticks are $19.

Origin of a Villain in New Marvel Series: KANG THE CONQUERER

This August, it’s time to tell the definitive origin story of one of Marvel’s greatest villains: Kang the Conqueror! Announced earlier today on the This Week in Marvel podcast, the Avengers and Fantastic Four foe will star in his first ever solo series that will tackle the complex saga behind the universe’s most fearsome time-travelling menace. KANG THE CONQUERER will be written by Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing, the popular writing duo known for their work on Joyride, Green Arrow, and Star Trek: Year Five, with art by Carlos Magno (Avengers Mech Strike). Together, this all-star creative team will unravel Kang’s enormous legacy from his expansive backstory to his various alternate selves, tying everything together and catapulting him into his biggest era yet.

The new series will be a love letter to True Believers who treasure the complicated tapestry behind the saga of Kang, while also serving as a perfect entry point for fans eager to learn the fascinating lore behind one of Stan Lee and Jack Kirby’s most iconic creations. Like many other series starring villains, it’s bound to be intriguing, offering a new look into a complicated character!

The man called Kang the Conqueror has been a pharaoh, a villain, a warlord of the space ways, and even—on rare occasions—a hero. Across all timelines, one fact seemed absolute: Time means nothing to Kang the Conqueror. But the truth, like with many Marvel villains, is more complex. Kang is caught in an endless cycle of creation and destruction dictated by time and previously unseen by any but the Conqueror himself. A cycle that could finally explain the enigma that is Kang. And a cycle that begins and ends with an old and broken Kang sending his younger self down a dark path.

“Time may mean nothing to Kang, but Kang means everything to us. This is the book we’ve been wanting to write for years,” Lanzing said. “It’s a total dream come true for Collin and I to be making our Marvel debut, we’re best friends who first met through a mutual love of Young Avengers, Runaways, and Ultimate Spider-Man. But to make our first mark with a character as storied as Kang the Conqueror, on a very personal pitch we never in a million years thought would be greenlit, is a genuine honor. Carlos Magno is delivering jaw-dropping work that recalls the exacting detail and operatic emotion of Kang’s co-creator Jack Kirby. We’re genuinely stunned by every new page. Add the brilliant colors by Espen Grundetjern, letters by the Marvel master Joe Caramanga, and the insightful leadership of our editor Alanna Smith, and you’ve got a team worthy of one of Marvel’s greatest unsung characters.”

“Kang has been a nefarious force in the Marvel Universe nearly as long as it’s existed, but the true crime here is that he’s never had a solo series. The fact that we’re the ones who get to bring Kang’s complete story to life for the first time is an incredible honor,” Kelly added. “KANG THE CONQUEROR isn’t just an origin story; this is a life story. When young and jaded Nathaniel Richards discovers the ancient lair of his Latvarian ancestor Victor Von Doom, his life is changed forever by a man he should never have met: Kang himself! From the last days of the Cretaceous to the war-torn world of Jack Kirby’s year 4,000, from ancient Egypt to the stars themselves, KANG THE CONQUEROR is a story that unpacks the told, and untold, moments of Kang’s life through a human lens. Powered by his love of the enigmatic Ravonna Renslayer, and fueled by the hatred of who he will become, this is a cross-time epic for everyone who has ever rejected who they were supposed to be.”

KANG THE CONQUERER hits stands on August 18th! For more information, click HERE.

Joseph Black – Mad At Me

JOSEPH BLACK DELIVERS RAW EMOTION ON NEW SINGLE MAD AT ME, WATCH THE VISUAL FOR MAD AT ME HERE, LISTEN TO MAD AT ME HERE

The rising Duluth, Minnesota, singer, rapper, and producer Joseph Black releases mad at me, the latest single from his forthcoming mixtape. Listen here. Known for his introspective breakthrough single (i hope you) miss me, Joseph showcases his signature pop-rap sound as he effortlessly delivers raw emotion and vulnerability.

The new track builds on Black’s ability to translate his personal pain into revelations anyone can relate to, which is quickly becoming one of the young star’s standout attributes. For those worried that a song as brilliant as (i hope you) miss me would be hard to follow, Joseph Black’s mad at me proves that the 21-year-old star is here to stay.

About Joseph Black

Combining a singular voice with a DIY mentality, Joseph Black is a self-made rapper, singer, and producer on a mission to make it. Supported by rich harmonies and piercing hooks, his sharp lyrics stay raw and don’t shy from emotion as the man vividly chronicles his dramas, heartbreaks, and triumphs. It’s a blend that’s already resonating with millions worldwide. For Black, who grew up on welfare and surrounded by drugs in Duluth, Minnesota, a chaotic upbringing and the struggle to persevere provide the fuel for his music. As for the kindling, an eclectic soundtrack informed his youth, a mixture of Eminem, Lil Wayne, and country that pointed him toward the twin powers of storytelling and melody. By 15, he was recording his own music, releasing one-offs and mixtapes even while getting picked on for being small. At 18, he was done fighting his way through school. Black dropped out and turned to the streets, where his new routine, an untenable juxtaposition of music daydreams and nocturnal mischief, would soon give shape to his art: soul filtered through the grit of urban life.
