India’s Newest Museum Allows Conversation With A Dead Artist Via AI

The Museum of Art and Photography and Accenture Labs have collaborated to create India’s first conversational digital persona of the celebrated artist, M F Husain. This unique digital experience was created during Covid 19 lockdowns as a way to feel engaged while experiencing art.

Husain’s persona gives a glimpse into the life and work of one of India’s most compelling artists. Viewers can simply ask Husain’s digital twin a question regarding his early life, family or career to receive a simulated response from him. While Husain’s voice has been digitally created using speech synthesis software, the questions and answers have been prepared through extensive research on the artist.

The experience will also be available on web and mobile platforms and as a 3D hologram at the Museum’s physical space which is set to open in December 2021.

The Weeknd releases his much anticipated single “Take My Breath”, the first from his forthcoming album as announced in his GQ global cover story this week. The release is accompanied by a mesmerizing visual directed byCliqua – Watch the video HERE. Listen to “Take My Breath” HERE.

The Weeknd teased new material with an array of tweets, culminating in an austere trailer he shared this past Sunday. By Monday morning, GQ debuted the first ever global issue in 90 years with The Weeknd as the sole cover star on all editions. In the accompanying interview with GQ, The Weeknd hinted at what listeners could anticipate with the upcoming record. On the same day, The Weeknd revealed a snippet of “Take My Breath”, along with the release date, in an Olympics promo teaser during NBC’s Olympics Prime Time Show telecast starring Team U.S.A’s women’s track and field team.

“Take My Breath” marks The Weeknd’s latest material since the release of his critically-acclaimed album After Hours released in March of 2020. After Hours is The Weeknd’s fourth #1 album in the United States and is certified double platinum by the RIAA with over 15.7 billion streams. In addition to the United States, After Hours topped the charts in 20 additional nations, including Canada and the United Kingdom.

“It’ll be the best project he’s ever put out.” – Mark Anthony Green on The Weeknd’s new music in the September 2021 issue of GQ

“‘It became nearly impossible to find something else to listen to. Everything else sounded soft. Or didn’t groove enough. Or felt too happy. Or too sad. It was clear to me that this isn’t just the album The Weeknd has always wanted to make; it’s the album we’ve always wanted him to make.” – Mark Anthony Green in GQ

“The music hit the studio like a Mack truck. The new project is packed with party records. Like real-deal, illuminated-white-tiles-on-the-floor party records. Quincy Jones meets Giorgio Moroder meets the best-night-of-your-fucking-life party records. Not anachronistic disco stuff. (Not “cosplay,” as Abel put it.) That sort of retro thing is having a moment right now in pop music, but these records are new. Sweaty. Hard. Drenched-suit, grinding-on-the-girl/boy-of-your-dreams party records.” – Mark Anthony Green in GQ

Making A Legend

ROLLS-ROYCE MARKS WORLD BOOK DAY WITH ‘MAKING A LEGEND’

  • Rolls-Royce celebrates UNESCO World Book Day on 23 April 2021 with Making A Legend
  • The new book explores the unique blend of hand-craftmanship, and world-class technology embodied in the present generation of Rolls-Royce motor cars
  • Authors Simon Van Booy and Harvey Briggs granted exclusive behind-the-scenes access with photographer Mariano Vilarós at Rolls-Royce’s Global Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence at Goodwood
  • Foreword provided by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Chief Executive, Torsten Müller-Ötvös
  • Hardcover, 296 pages, full-colour photographs throughout; now available from all good retailers

“When the authors approached us with their proposal for this book, we welcomed them with open arms. Simon and Harvey are both distinguished writers with great perceptiveness, integrity and enthusiasm. They joined us at the Home of Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, West Sussex, where we gave them our full support, granting access to whatever and whoever they wanted to see and talk about. Their words, combined with the images captured by Mariano Vilarós, make this a definitive history of the marque, right up to and including, the present day. Its publication represents a worthy addition to the literature of Rolls-Royce, a fine celebration of our unique products and people, and a perfect book with which to acknowledge World Book Day.”Torsten Müller-Ötvös, Chief Executive, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars

Rolls-Royce marks the UNESCO World Book and Copyright Day with Making A Legend – a new book exploring how today’s generation of Rolls-Royce motor cars is designed and handcrafted at Rolls-Royce’s Global Centre of Luxury Manufacturing Excellence in Goodwood, England.

An important and worthy addition to the extensive Rolls-Royce literary canon, Making A Legend takes in a broad sweep of the company’s history, featuring cars from the marque’s very earliest days in the 1900s, right up to new Ghost launched in 2020.

The book provides an intimate, highly contemporary account of life at the house of luxury, with the aim of connecting readers with the people who make the best car in the world. The narrative follows the process of transforming a customer’s idea into a finished product, through interviews with individuals from all departments including Bespoke designers, skilled craftspeople and assembly specialists.

Over almost 300 lavishly illustrated pages, every detail of how a Rolls-Royce motor car is designed, engineered and meticulously hand-built, is examined. Chapters include Design and Customization, Paint and Finish, Chassis Assembly, Woodwork, Leather and Testing; there is also an entire section devoted to the Spirit of Ecstasy, the figurine that has graced the bonnet of Rolls-Royce motor cars for over 100 years.

Emmy-winning automotive journalist Harvey Briggs, novelist Simon Van Booy and photographer Mariano Vilarós were granted unprecedented behind-the-scenes access to Rolls-Royce’s facilities and people over several months before the Covid-19 pandemic struck.

Briggs, who grew up in America’s Motor City, Detroit, and has reviewed every new Rolls-Royce model since Wraith in 2013, recalls being surprised at how much work is still performed by hand, even in the assembly process. He was also struck by the level of innovation in today’s Rolls-Royce motor cars, and the marque’s commitment to delivering impeccable quality.

Harvey Briggs commented, “The first time I visited Rolls-Royce in Goodwood, I was in awe of the exceptional creativity and skill of the people who design and build these remarkable cars. I knew I had to tell those stories.”

Simon Van Booy added, “The friendly perfectionism for craft, displayed by everyone we interviewed and Mariona photographed, was inspiring to the point where we knew the book had to be something rare and marvelous and functional – rather like a Rolls-Royce itself.”

Organized by UNESCO, World Book and Copyright Day celebrates the role of books and reading as a link between the past and the future, the bridge across generations and cultures. The date, 23rd April, is symbolic in world literature, marking the deaths of playwright and poet William Shakespeare, the creator of Don Quixote, Miguel de Cervantes, and the early Peruvian writer, Inca Garcilaso de la Vega.

Making A Legend is published in hardback by ACC Art Books, and is now available from all good retailers including Amazon.

Outdoor Adventure in Virginia City, Nevada

All-Terrain and Off-Highway Thrills Around Each Turn in Virginia City, Nevada

The story of Virginia City’s boomtown history is an exciting tale of risk takers, bandits and daring opportunists. Today’s Virginia City is marked with historic charm, but the adventure-seeking spirit still lives in the hills – and a new gold mine of trails and tracks that provide for all-terrain off-road excursions. Located 22 miles from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport, Virginia City and surrounding Gold Hill, Silver City and Dayton, are connected by old stagecoach roads, trails and expansive public lands. The mountainous high desert setting and open space is a playground for dirt biking, OHVs (Off Highway Vehicles), four-wheeling and off-road cycling.

50 Years of Full-Throttle Racing Heritage

The Virginia City Grand Prix is one of the largest and most competitive off-road motorcycles races in the west. The annual two-day event draws racers to the Comstock to battle the canyons and hills for glory and bragging rights. “Dust on the Comstock” documents Virginia City’s racing heritage, the difficult landscape and the challenge racers face each year. The 50th annual Virginia City Grand Prix returns October 23 – 24, 2021. More information can be found on this website.

When not lining up for guts and glory at the Grand Prix, riders are welcomed to test their skills on Virginia City’s fabled terrain, including steep drop-offs and climbs, technical trails and makeshift motocross tracks. Popular areas include Seven Mile Canyon, Jumbo Grade and Lousetown Road.

Off-Road to Historic Sites and Ancient Petroglyphs

There’s no better history lesson than roaring in the path of ancestors that traveled the land. Virginia City’s OHV roads were once stagecoach and mining trails that webbed throughout the famed Comstock Lode territory and 150-year-old trails. The pinnacle off-road history experience is an excursion to the ancient Lagomarsino Petroglyphs rock art site, one of Nevada’s largest petroglyph sites. Reno’s UTV Addiction offers guided tours to the site. Lagomarsino Canyon can also be enjoyed by personal OHVs or off-road vehicles, mountain bikes or on foot.

Earn Your Adventure
Virginia City is a cyclist’s hub for those in pursuit of self-powered journeys. Geiger Grade is a popular road cycling route that carries riders over a consistent grade from Reno to Virginia City. Once in Virginia City, cyclists can enjoy expansive views of the Carson Range, a pedal down historic C Street and stop at one of Virginia City’s many cafes and lunch spots.

Gravel and mountain bike riders can enjoy the same expansive OHV trails for an immersive off-road ride back in time. It’s easy for adventure cyclists to seek the road less traveled, discover cultural sites and witness mining artifacts, all while being comfortably close to the amenities of the nearby town. For more information on off-road cycling routes, visit online.

Virginia City is situated in a mountainous high desert climate. Off-roaders find abundant sunshine, and ideal trail conditions in the spring, summer and fall. Public lands span the area and offer endless opportunities for adventurous route planning, each with tales of Nevada’s statehood beginnings.*

*It should be noted that most of the land in Storey County is privately owned. While there are many roadways in the area to visit, if travelers leave a roadway they may be entering onto private property. Travelers should be aware that trespassing on private land may result in legal trouble. For more info, please contact the Sheriff’s Office in Storey County, the Virginia City Tourism Commission, or the Storey County Manager.

For more information on visiting Virginia City, visit this website.

A short 30-minute drive from the Reno-Tahoe International Airport takes visitors to one of the largest historic districts in the United States – Virginia City, Nevada. Come experience this mining “boomtown” as it was in the 1800’s. Step back in time while visiting the numerous historic buildings, saloons, churches and museums or take a mine tour or even ride a real steam train. The Comstock Adventure Passes offer the best value with discounted attraction packages.  For lodging, event calendar or Comstock Adventure Passes, visit online or call 775-847-7500. The creative direction had a heavenly yet playful vibe as Kali beautifully shifted between songs with her soft, sultry, siren-like voice. 1800 Christalino Tequila was seen strategically placed throughout the premiere and Kali poured a glass at the end of the performances as she thanked her fans for watching.

Cardi B × Reebok – The Summertime Fine Collection

Cardi B Launches First Apparel Collection in Partnership with Reebok

Today, Reebok is proud to announce its first-ever apparel collection with the legendary Cardi B. The Summertime Fine Collection, officially LIVE NOW, launches alongside matching footwear colorways of the Cardi B Club C, and aims to empower women to remain true to themselves.

A collaborative effort between Reebok and Cardi B, the fabrics and detailing of the apparel collection were thoughtfully curated from the beginning design stages through the entire creation cycle. Having tried on every piece herself, nothing went to production without Cardi’s seal of approval.

The collection draws inspiration from the 90s, with nods to vintage Reebok apparel and Cardi’s distinct memories of summers spent on the Coney Island boardwalk with friends. The range also reflects her bold and transparent personality that influenced the transformation of traditional Reebok silhouettes into a collection that is sure to be unapologetically in your face.

“I’m so proud to announce my first apparel line with Reebok,’ Cardi said on the debut collection. “This collection gives every woman the product they need to feel sexy and confident; the waist-snatching tights and curve-hugging silhouettes make everybody look amazing.”

Designed with the female figure in mind, the bold color combinations of pastel purple and bright red are sure to turn heads, while waist-cinching details and contouring cutlines, infused with flirtatious mesh cutouts create that iconic 90s inspired layered look that is totally and completely Cardi B. The colors and materials used in the collection play on day and night monochromatic looks so the versatility of the items can take you straight from the gym to the streets. All apparel will be available in inclusive sizing from 2XS to 4X, bringing this collection to all Cardi fans.

The Summertime Fine Collection will be available to purchase alongside matching footwear colorways of the Cardi B Club C , available in women’s and kid sizes now on Reebok’s website.

Cardi B and Reebok are excited to introduce the all new “Mommy & Me” capsule footwear collection.

In honor of the launch, and reflecting on recent years as a new mom, Cardi wanted to share some advice with her fans that has helped her through motherhood so far. With fun tips ranging from how to keep kids entertained, to the #1 piece of advice she’d pass on to her daughter, Reebok is excited to share the iconic video with you HERE.

Cardi B and Reebok worked hand-in-hand to create the “Mommy & Me” capsule footwear collection to honor her unwavering love for her daughter, Kulture. Cardi was inspired by the indescribable feeling of love she experienced when her daughter was born, and how her baby girl changed everything within her life.

Keeping the designs monochrome, each Club C Cardi is emblematic of Cardi and Kulture, drawing on her compassion and sensitivity. The thoughtful collection includes two Club C Cardi silhouettes–one in Rose Gold and one in Aqua Dust–inspired by special moments with Kulture, and Cardi’s life as a mom.

Known as the metal of love, rose gold is shiny and feminine but strong and durable, much like Cardi’s love and affection for Kulture. The Aqua Dust colorway ties back to the Aquamarine stone which represents clarity, calm and relaxation: three adjectives that Cardi uses to describe being a mom. Aquamarine is also the breathing stone which, to Cardi, is illustrative of how she feels now that Kulture is in her life.

The Reebok x Cardi B “Mommy & Me” collection is the final Club C Cardi drop and will be available to purchase in adult, junior and infant sizing on Reebok’s website starting May 13th at 10AM EST.

5 strategies for online casinos

Are you looking for strategies to win at online casinos? It’s not as easy as it sounds. There are many different strategies that can be used and the right one will depend on your personal style and what kind of games you prefer to play. We’ll go over 5 strategies below, followed by a quick summary of each one.

Casinos have been always been a hot topic. People love to gamble and there are so many different ways they can do it. Some people prefer to go out and visit casinos while others like to stay at home or on their mobile devices. The latter has become increasing popular in the recent years, so much so that now there are online games available for anyone who wants to play them.

For new casino players is can be difficult or confusing to make sense of the games and it can be hard to understand what to do to make more money when playing. If you are looking to make some money while gambling, or at very least not lose too much of it, here are 5 strategies for online casinos.

Understand the bonuses

A welcome bonus is essentially a way that the casino tries to draw the attention of new players by allowing them to play various games for free for a few round or giving them some free money to bet on a game of their choosing.

Welcomes bonuses are a fantastic way to test out a casino and see what games they have and what gems you like, all without spending any money. This makes choosing an online casino extremely important, which is why Casino Reviews recommends Jackpotcity, as they have some of the best bonuses and many games to choose from. There are two different kinds of bonuses; depots and no-depots bonuses, and they are exactly what they sound like. A deposit bonus requires you to deposit a certain amount into your account before you can qualify to receive the bonus where as a no deposit bonus doesn’t require anything.

Of course all of this has to come with a catch, this being the wagering requirements that you have to fulfil within a certain amount of time before you can reviewed you winnings from the bonus.

Choose the right games

The games are the main reason why people are at online casinos, obviously. When it comes to casino games, some of them give you better odds of winning than others, and these are the games you should be sticking to if you are wanting to make a little bit of money. Games like slots are fun to play but most of the time you will never make any money from them because there is no skill or strategy involved. However, table’s games do require skill and strategy which you can learn and practice allowing you to understand the game and predicts the outcomes.

Have a budget

Having a budget is so important because it is so easy to lose track of time and get so into a game and end up spending way more than you had thought you might. If you set a budget you will know exactly when to call it quits and you will never end up in any kind of trouble. You could set a budget that could purely be based off of how much money you spend and then once you have spent that money you have to stop playing, or you could give yourself a set budget which allows you to play with your winnings too. This will let you play for a bit longer but will most likely leave you with no winnings at all.

Play slow and take breaks

Following on from the previous point, gambling at online casinos can happen very quickly with being able to play multiple games at once, and slots allowing you to play up to 600 spins per hour. These costs can rack up quickly. It is important to remember that gambling is an addictive hobby and by playing slowly and taking breaks often you allow yourself to come back to the real world and just gain your sense of reality again so that you don’t end up spending all of your money.

Play at the right casino

Before you even start playing at a casino you need to know what kind of reputation the casino has and what kind of licensing it has. With so many different online casinos out there now, it’s no surprise that some of them are fraudulent. By choosing the casinos with the best reviews and ratings, and ones that also have the right licensing, you also give yourself the best shot at playing at one of the better online casinos.

Brooklyn Michelle "Come Here" PR image for use by 360 Magazine

Brooklyn Michelle QxA

By: Emily Bunn

Brooklyn Michelle, a multi-talented recording artist and producer, premieres her highly-anticipated music video for “Come Here” today. Michelle originally recorded “Come Here” five years ago on her Soundcloud. However, the song has blown up in popularity since, so she decided to rerelease the perfected single with a brand new video–which can be viewed here.

Though Brooklyn Michelle is busy taking the world by storm with her upcoming sophomore album, production company, art work, charity festival, streaming and more, she took the time to speak with 360 Magazine about her inspirations for creating music, the story behind Waffledog Productions, and her upcoming projects in 2021.

  1. What are you most looking forward to regarding your upcoming single and music video release of “Come Here”?

I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s reactions to the music video! This is by far my favorite one I’ve produced yet. Plus, it finally has my Waffledog Productions logo right at the beginning to grab everyone’s interest. I’m hoping this leads to other artists wanting me to produce their music videos! I think I’ll finally have time to start doing that this year.

  1. As compared to your release of “Come Here” five years ago on Soundcloud, what differences can listeners expect when listening to this new version?

Updated vocals, a LOT more harmonies, live saxophone and trumpets, and a beautiful Alex Tumay mix.

  1. In your reimagining “Come Here,” how has your music creation process changed as you’ve developed as an artist?

My style has definitely taken on a more groovy aspect than what it was with my debut album “Lithium”. I’ve realized now that the deciding factor on if I like a song or not is the bass line. So, for my sophomore album, I’ve prioritized producing every song around a bass line that either my bass player Monty or I wrote. So whether the tone of a song is happy or sad, you’re still gonna be able to groove to it a bit.

  1. In addition to performing in them, you direct and edit all of your own music videos. How do you find inspiration for the visuals you create to accompany your music?

I get a lot of my inspiration from watching other music videos, but even more so from movies lately. I’ve noticed Ari Aster tends to do this very long push in or pull away shots in his movies which is what inspired the long hallway shot in the second verse of the “Come Here” music video. I added a little spin to it though too (literally).

  1. Why did you decide to title your upcoming, sophomore album “Placebo”?

I wanted to play off of my debut album’s title “Lithium” while also contradicting it. This is going to be a whole new style from me, yet [it is] still cohesive in a way to know it’s my sound. Lithium was about my struggles with bipolar disorder and looking for an outside answer to make me feel better. Placebo is about my struggles of a failed relationship, and looking within myself for how to feel better.

  1. What inspired you to start Waffledog Productions?

I originally created a YouTube channel with this title in the 4th grade. My friend Joanna and I would make skit videos. I kinda did the YouTube thing up until my senior year of high school. I loved writing scripts, making spoofs and eventually created a music account for cover videos. Once it became time to make my first music video, I realized I’ve been doing this my whole life. I know exactly how to plan everything out and bring my visions to life. I now realize I love making videos more than music itself and want to eventually get into TV and film too. And, c’mon, Waffledog is too cool of a name to not use to this day.

  1. You’re the founder of the Purple Palooza festival, an annual charity event to raise awareness for pancreatic cancer. Where and when does this event take place, and how can readers donate?

This event takes place in San Antonio, Texas. The venues have changed every year, but if Covid seems to be under control by fall, I would like to have 2021’s festival at The Paper Tiger in October. If you’d like to donate to our affiliate, you can go to PanCan.org and search for the San Antonio Purple Stride page. That is our annual 5k that we fundraise for all year.

  1. Do you have any other exciting projects coming up in 2021

I do! But nothing [that] I can tell anyone just yet. You’ll have to follow me to find out hehe.
