Cityzenith Futuristic Sky Mapping

Digital Twin pioneer Cityzenith predicts futuristic 3D sky mapping will launch low carbon city flight revolution

Science fiction fans can tick off one more prediction turned to reality as NASA aims to optimize local travel and commuting by air above cities.

A key enabler is Digital Twin technology, a ‘real-world SimCity’ software able to aggregate vast quantities of data on buildings, roads, infrastructure, vehicles, and even the space above into an interactive 3D virtual model of a city.

It is the potential to manage integrated drone and ‘new age’ air taxi routes in the air space that attracted a nationwide NASA search, leading Digital Twin pioneer Cityzenith to be 1 of just 10 tech companies presenting to senior NASA officials at the prestigious ‘Ignite the Night: Aeronautics’* NASA iTech virtual event on April 13, 2021.

NASA iTech identifies and searches for cutting-edge technologies being developed outside of NASA that solve problems on Earth, but also having the potential to address challenges facing exploration of the Moon and Mars.

The high-profile panel of judges includes:

  • David VoracekCenter Chief Technologist, NASA Armstrong Flight Research Center

Julie Williams-ByrdDeputy Chief Technologist, NASA Langley Research Center NASA’s vision for Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) aims to help develop air transportation to safely move people and cargo between places previously not served or underserved by aviation – local, regional, intra-regional, and urban – using revolutionary new aircraft only now becoming possible.

Michael Jansen, CEO of Chicago-based Cityzenith, said: “This will be the second presentation to NASA by my company and its SmartWorldOS software platform within weeks, and we are very honored and excited to be the only Digital Twin company at this prestigious gathering.

“It highlights yet another application for Digital Twin technology and growing interest in flight above our cities, a dream dating back to the ground-breaking 1927 movie ‘Metropolis’ and many sci-fi classics since then, but now set to happen as we move to delivery by flying drones and then human travel by zero-carbon air vehicles using electric propulsion.

“It will open a whole new dimension to city life; no longer will high-rise living and working mean people must literally come down to earth to go elsewhere.

“But there is a real pressure to act, too: The World Economic Forum has reported that ground level delivery vehicles in the world’s 100 largest cities will increase 36% by 2030, carbon emissions from all urban delivery traffic will rise 32% and congestion will be up by 21%, adding 11 minutes to an average daily commute.

“NASA introduced the air taxi concept in 2001 and the race is now on to create the first viable electric machines in a market tipped to grow 26.2% annually to $6.63 billion by 2030**.

“This new air mobility can also significantly reduce greenhouse gases in cities, a goal of our Clean Cities – Clean Future mission to drive down urban carbon emissions. Cities produce more than 70% of global carbon emissions (source: UN) and that’s why we pledged to donate SmartWorldOS to key cities around the world, one at a time, to help the most polluted become carbon neutral.

“We are also expanding to meet demand for our Digital Twin capability as the post-COVID-19 ‘Build Back better’ initiative grows; we have just passed a $2.5 million milestone en route to a $10 million Regulation A+ crowdfunding investment raise.”

Marvel’s Moon Knight

MOON KNIGHT’S NEW MISSION…IS JUSTICE!

The Moon Knight you’ve been demanding by Jed MacKay and Alessandro Cappucio this July

The Fist of Khonshu returns this July! Moon Knight, one of Marvel’s most enigmatic and compelling heroes, is back in an all-new ongoing series written by Jed MacKay (Black Cat) and making his Marvel Comics debut, artist Alessandro Cappuccio (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers). MOON KNIGHT #1 will spin directly out of the recent “Age of Khonshu” arc in Jason Aaron’s Avengers run and promises to be a worthy new adventure for this fascinating character.

The mysterious Mr. Knight has opened his Midnight Mission, his people petitioning for protection from the weird and horrible. That protection is offered by Moon Knight, who stalks the rooftops and alleys marked with his crescent moon tag, bringing violence to any who would harm his people. Marc Spector, in whichever guise he dons, is back on the streets, a renegade priest of an unworthy god. But while Khonshu languishes in a prison that Moon Knight put him in, the white-cowled hero must still observe his duty: protecting those who travel at night. And let it be known – Moon Knight will keep the faith.

“I’m very excited to be working with Alessando Cappuccio on the continuing adventures of one of Marvel’s biggest messes- Moon Knight!” MacKay said. “In the wake of his disastrous attempt to take over the world in the “Age of Khonshu,” Marc Spector (et al) has retreated to what he knows–busting heads on the streets. But despite betraying his god to the Avengers, the Fist of Khonshu’s obligations remain the same–to protect those traveling at night. Apostate priest of the moon god, the mysterious Mr. Knight has opened the doors of his Midnight Mission, where those in fear of the weird and strange may petition for the aid of the Moon Knight! But this doesn’t sit well with everyone, and hidden threats circle Marc’s new start from the shadows…”

“When Tom Brevoort contacted me to work on the new Moon Knight series, I couldn’t believe it,” Cappucio said. “Debuting in Marvel Comics with one of my favorite characters is a dream come true! The story is a new beginning for Moon Knight, Jed did an excellent job as usual on the scripts and I’m delighted to be working with a professional of his caliber.”

Since his first appearance in 1975’s Werewolf by Night #32 by comic book greats Doug Moench and Don Perlin, Moon Knight has stood out over the years thanks to his intriguing mythology and the psychological complexities of the character. Having enjoyed critically-acclaimed runs by Brian Michael Bendis, Warren Ellis, and Jeff Lemire, Mark Spector now makes his much-demanded return with a series that will give Moon Knight fans exactly what they’ve been asking for and serve as a perfect gateway for newcomers interested in this unique Marvel hero. Don’t miss the start of Moon Knight’s new era when MOON KNIGHT #1 hits stands on July 7! For more information, visit Marvel’s website.

Today’s news is coupled with the announcement of being Apple Music’s Up Next artist for April 2021, coming after the likes of Beabadoobee, Holly Humberstone and Tate McRae. Wees is the first-ever German artist to be selected for the promotion.

“It’s a real honor for me to be named as Apple’s Up Next Artist for April, and to follow on from so many talented people who have emerged from this program. I’m ready to give everything to grow with this challenge the way they did,” says Zoe Wees, who is featured on the cover of Euphoria Magazine. In this feature story, Euphoria observed, “Zoe Wees is one of music’s most exciting rising stars and that definitely isn’t being said for the sake of it.”

Golden Wings features five songs, each delicately penned from a personal, relatable place. See below for track listing. Control” tells the story of Wees’ struggle with rolandic childhood epilepsy–a traumatic, isolating condition that can cause severe seizures. Hailed as “an emotional powerhouse of a song” by LADYGUNN, the emotional ballad became a worldwide hit and entered the top 20 at Pop radio in the U.S. People praised the follow-up single “Girls Like Us” as “a vulnerable pop anthem that pushed for togetherness and solidarity to girls around the world.”

Wees launched “Girls Like Us” with an appearance on DJ Zane Lowe’s Apple Music 1 show. The track is currently in the Spotify Global Top 200 and has been featured on numerous playlists worldwide, including Spotify’s Today’s Top Hits and Apple Music’s Today’s Hits in the U.S. With over 27 million U.S. streams to date, America is Wees’ #1 streaming market for “Girls Like Us.” Watch the official video HERE.

“Each of the songs are autobiographical and very special to me,” explains Wees. “In a way, the EP was written as personal therapy, with each track helping tackle my own mental health. I chose the title Golden Wings to symbolize the feelings of security and strength. These two things are foundations from where hope can grow. I hope people can relate to my stories in their own way.”

Why Detox Now

By: Edward Jones, founder of  Nutrition World

Are you ready to restart your health similar to how we reset our phones when they get slow and sluggish? The cumulative effects of living, eating and breathing in our toxic world are very often causing our bodys to be sluggish, decreasing our energy, brain function,  producing weight gain and reducing the quality of our life.

I have been counseling people for more than four decades on the subject of detox for the betterment of their health through my wellness clinic and personal education. Observing my clients over the years has clearly shown me the vital importance of effective therapies regarding detoxification in order to attain results to optimize their health. I will be offering you three steps to effective and healthy detox methods in this article.

The science of detoxification of every single living organism has been intensively studied and its biochemistry illustrates its varied mechanisms of action. The mere fact that nature placed highly efficient detox pathways within all living creatures confirms its vital importance to the continuation of life. Traditional medicine does not recognize the negative effects of toxins like hormone disruptors, mold, pesticides, fungicides, carcinogens, and the list goes on and on. Even in the best situations where we embrace organic foods daily and clean lifestyle we continue to be exposed to toxins from vaccines, mold in the workplace or home, pharmaceuticals, water, skin care products, suntan lotions, chemicals like Roundup (which is found in almost all foods), and the list goes on and is almost endless. The body has only so much capacity within its system of detox and clearly these days the body is often at or beyond capacity in many individuals.

One of the most stunning studies performed showing the potential serious concerns of toxins in our daily life was on analyzing umbilical cord blood. Not that long ago, scientists believed that the placenta shielded cord blood — and the developing baby — from most chemicals and pollutants in the environment. In the study spearheaded by the Environmental Working Group (EWG), two major laboratories found an average of 200 industrial chemicals in umbilical cord blood. The blood harbored pesticides, consumer product ingredients and wastes from gasoline and garbage. Information such as this can motivate people toward the clear need for detoxification. The first step in assisting anyone with his or her health is making sure they clearly understand and believe in the process itself. Many traditional healthcare practitioners often do not use detoxification as part of their toolbox. This makes education a top priority to achieve success.

For the majority of individuals when they hear the word “detox” they are thinking colon and going to the bathroom. We know regularity does have a place in lessening toxins, but I am more concerned with cellular detox for most of my clients. I always address the issue of regularity and the need to work towards regular bowel movements, but too many so called natural cleansers are nothing more than hidden laxatives. Ingredients such as aloe, cascara, chinese rhubarb, and of course senna are often addictive and are simply cleansing what was eaten over the past few days and not cellular detox.  Nutrition World is very aware of this issue and is devoted to honest education when speaking to customers on this issue. I encourage anyone considering detox products to be an informed consumer.

Three steps to finding an effective and healthy detox method:

My first recommendation for reducing the toxic load within our cells is fasting. I find intermittent fasting five days a week by eating within an 8 to 10 hour window and not eating the remainder of the day and night is very effective for everyone.  This offers benefits regarding weight loss, insulin balancing, sleep, optimizing glucose levels, and improving brain function.

Sweating is option number two. Toxins are generally located within the fatty cells and increasing body temperature releases the toxins. I prefer a dry heat sauna for 30 minutes several times a week.  Of course sweating of any kind will be of benefit regardless of how it is done.

The third option is the consideration of taking nutraceutical and botanical supplements in the form of a detox plan. No one ingredient will accomplish this goal which is why I have three methods of supplementation with natural remedies that further accelerate the process of optimal cleansing. The level of toxicity will determine which detox bundle to consider. You can learn more about the right supplement detox plan for you through my education podcast, The Holistic Navigator. Remember to always consult with your healthcare professional before using any products if you have a health condition.

THE CALIFORNIA ZINFANDEL TRAIL

ZINFANDEL ADVOCATES & PRODUCERS LAUNCHES THE CALIFORNIA ZINFANDEL TRAIL

The California Zinfandel Trail is Geared for Virtual and Live Exploration of Zinfandel

Website Tool Creates Travel Itineraries – ZAP Hosts Virtual Tours

The California Zinfandel Trail: EXPLORE CALIFORNIA – Find Your Flavor.

Zinfandel Advocates and Producers (ZAP) announced that it officially launched The California Zinfandel Trail, as of March 29, 2021. Zinfandel lovers and the Zinfandel-curious now have a powerful new tool to explore wineries and plan custom itineraries. This new platform is designed to boost tourism and raise interest in wineries that produce America’s time-honored heritage wine, Zinfandel.

“Consumers and wineries alike will benefit from this fast-track connection directly to Zinfandel winemakers, featuring small production artisanal wines that are available to consumers only by visiting the winery in person or virtually,” according to ZAP Executive Director, Rebecca Robinson. “So many of these wines are from historic vineyards and come with wonderful, colorful family stories that are the fabric of American agricultural heritage,” she continues.

Mindful of travel restrictions due to the COVID 19 pandemic, virtual visits and tastings have been made available, in addition to the traditional in-person winery tastings and experiences. Visitors should contact wineries in advance about their latest visiting policies and experiences.

The Zinfandel Trail website includes an easy-to-use interactive map of California’s Zinfandel wineries for plotting and planning itineraries to vineyards across California. Here, visitors can explore Zinfandel winery experiences by region, such as vineyard and winery tours, specialized tastings, picnicking, food service, and pet-friendly policies. In addition to winery listings are featured winery to winery routes with beautiful Zinfandel vineyard images, regional travel blogs, points of interest, and winemaker stories.

In addition to the California Zinfandel Trail mapping website, ZAP is also creating virtual tours and tastings offered for sale to those wanting to sniff, swirl, and sip while enjoying a themed tour on Zoom hosted by travel experts. The first three-part series will begin in late April with a tour of Sonoma Valley, followed in May by sessions on Women in Wine and in June, Vineyard Tours.

Virtual Tour dates:

Sonoma Valley Zinfandel Tour | Thursday, April 29, 2021 – 4:00 p.m. PDT

HOST: Tim Zahner, Executive Director, Sonoma Valley Visitors Bureau

Women in Wine Zinfandel Tour | Thursday, May 27, 2021 – 4:00 p.m. PDT

HOST: Lauren Mowery, Travel Editor, Wine Enthusiast Magazine

Zinfandel Vineyard Tours | Thursday, June 24, 2021 – 4:00 p.m. PDT

HOST: Paul Rubio, award-winning travel journalist AFAR, Conde Nast Traveler and more

The virtual sessions will provide photographic essays, interactive discussion, and in-depth guided tastings from three wineries based on each theme–the next best thing to visiting the wineries and vineyards in person.

Visit this website to learn more about the virtual sessions and secure your spot.

“This program gives us the opportunity to expand Zinfandel’s appreciation and reach through a new platform,” explains Robinson.

Over the last several years, ZAP has successfully reached millions of consumers to improve awareness and adoption of Zinfandel, America’s true heritage wine grape variety. The “Zinfandel Stories” and “Legendary Zinfandel Vineyards” campaigns were delivered with the aim to preserve, protect and continue to grow Zinfandel, both in the fields of California and as a wine category.

“Conditions are slowly improving for travel,” says Robinson. “We’re confident, based on our previous campaign successes, that we’ve got something special here, a unique tool that will last into the future, for when tourism rebounds.” Until then, we’ve developed what we believe are very entertaining, educational virtual sessions that will make people excited to hit The California Zinfandel Trail when they’re ready.”

Lighthouse ArtSpace Chicago Extends Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit

DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, LIGHTHOUSE ARTSPACE CHICAGO ANNOUNCES EXTENSION FOR IMMERSIVE VAN GOGH EXHIBIT THROUGH NOV. 28

Initial Block of Tickets Sold Out; New Block of Tickets on Sale Wednesday, April 7 at 10 a.m.

Lighthouse ArtSpace Chicago, a new venue within Chicago’s recently renovated landmark Germania Club Building, today announced that due to popular demand the U.S. premiere of the blockbuster art experience Immersive Van Gogh Exhibit will extend its dates to November 28, 2021 after having sold out the current block of tickets. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, April 7 online and by phone at 844-307-4644.

Lighthouse ArtSpace Chicago, a three-story facility located at 108 W. Germania Place, is dedicated to immersive art presentations, merging the boundaries between entertainment and culture to give visitors the sense that they are encountering art as never before. Utilizing the building’s Victorian Era architectural details, 35-foot-tall walls and multiple levels (including balconies), the venue will present vibrant immersive art exhibitions that surround the viewer on all sides.

The venue’s first presentation,Immersive Van Gogh, is a visually spectacular digital art exhibition that has received widespread critical acclaim. Immersive Van Gogh invites audiences to “step inside” the iconic works of post-Impressionist artist Vincent van Gogh, evoking his highly emotional and chaotic inner consciousness through art, light, music, movement and imagination. The Italian creative team who pioneered digital experiences in Paris has created a custom design to fit the gracious Neo-Classical architecture of the exhibition’s Chicago home.

The hour-long, walk-through experience has been designed with health and safety as a priority. Capacity will be limited in accordance with the City of Chicago’s safety protocols. Additional safety precautions include touchless ticket-taking, temperature checks upon arrival, hand sanitizer stations, social distancing markers throughout the venue, and digitally projected social distancing circles on the gallery floors to ensure appropriate spacing. All guests must wear a face covering at all times during their visit to Lighthouse ArtSpace Chicago.

Immersive Van Gogh was designed by creative director and Italian film producer Massimiliano Siccardi, with original, mood-setting music by Italian multimedia composer Luca Longobardi, who provided a score that combines experimental electronic music with pure, ethereal and simple-seeming piano.Vittorio Guidottiis the Art Director. Siccardi and Longobardi are both pioneers of immersive digital art experiences in Paris, where they were part of the team that created the world-renowned Van Gogh, Starry Night exhibition, among others. With more than 70 projectors illuminating over 15,000 square-feet, visitors to Immersive Van Gogh are encircled from head-to-toe in Van Gogh’s brushstrokes and colors, including animated details from works such as Self Portrait with Felt Hat (1888), The Bedroom in Arles (1889), Irises (1889) and The Starry Night (1889).

Immersive Van Gogh is a new way of encountering art, as it quite literally surrounds viewers on all sides with the brilliant work of one of the greatest painters of all time,” said Immersive Art Space Co-Producer Corey Ross. “Both connoisseurs and new admirers of Van Gogh’s work are guaranteed a breathtaking perspective on the influential artist’s oeuvre. Merging state-of-the-art technology, theatrical storytelling, animation and some of the finest works of art ever created, Immersive Van Gogh is a uniquely mesmerizing experience that seemingly transports the viewer into the artist’s mind to see these timeless works as never before.”

“Despite being unknown throughout his life, Van Gogh’s artwork has created a lasting impact through its emotional richness and simple beauty,” said Massimiliano Siccardi, Immersive Van Gogh designer. “Both myself and Luca Longobardi are very excited to once again bring Van Gogh’s legacy to life in a way that is unique to the beautiful architecture of the Germania Club Building.”

The premiere of Immersive Van Gogh in Chicago was described as “a feast for your eyes” by WTTW Chicago and “impressive…(with) clever touches (and) emotional resonance” by the Chicago Tribune.  The Daily Herald said the exhibit “reimagines masterpieces for a digital age” and TimeOut Chicago called it “a visual spectacle… the future of experiential art.”

Lighthouse ArtSpace Chicago is operated by Immersive Art Space LP, a partnership between co-producers Corey Ross, Svetlana Dvoretsky, Maria Shclover and Irina Shabshis. The venue also features a merchandise/gift shop. Future plans include additional immersive art shows as well as live performances.

Ticket prices start at $39.99 for adults ($24.99 for children 16 or younger) with untimed and flexible ticket options available. The venue is easily accessible by public transportation and has ample parking in the nearby James House parking garage. About Vincent van Gogh

Legendary Dutch painter Vincent van Gogh (1853 – 1890) is recognized as one of the world’s greatest and best loved artists. He was born in the Netherlands to his father, Theodorus van Gogh, and his mother, Anna Cornelia Carbentus, a moody artist whose love of nature, drawing and watercolors was passed on to her son. He worked at his uncle Cornelis’ art dealership when he had already been fluent in French, German and English, as well as his native Dutch. He fell in love with English culture when he was transferred to the Groupil Gallery in London in 1873.

During his short life he painted more than 2,000 artworks ranging from ordinary household items and self-portraits to surreal landscapes that inspire awe. Van Gogh was a post-Impressionist painter whose work — notable for its beauty, emotion and color — highly influenced expressionism in 20th-century art. He struggled with mental illness and remained poor and virtually unknown throughout his life.

He was tragically admitted to a psychiatric hospital after offering his severed ear to a woman at a local brothel. For hope, he turned to painting and nature, until one day when he went out to paint in the morning with a loaded pistol in his hand and reportedly shot himself in the chest. In his 37 years alive, Van Gogh only sold one painting, The Red Vineyards, to his brother Theo.

Mount Music Talent Management Relocation

Virginia is For Music Lovers: Mount Music Talent Management Relocates to Virginia from LA, Signs Tall Boy Special

Los Angeles talent agency relocates to Richmond, Virginia, and signs TikTok sensation Tall Boy Special

Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, Mount Music & Entertainment is making the move across country, relocating to Richmond, Virginia. The move gives the agency a chance to expand the roster of talent that it represents and manages. The latest talent Mount Music & Entertainment has signed is Tall Boy Special, a TikTok sensation that combines music and comedy. With the recent re-brand and name change, the agency is growing their expanding list of talent, to include not only musicians and songwriters, but actors, comedians, writers, and more.

“Comedy has been very important in my personal life, with many of my close personal friends being comedians, so it feels like a natural progression for MME to develop beyond the scope of music and start representing a multi-hyphenate act like Tall Boy Special,” explains Dave Mount, military veteran and founder of Mount Music & Entertainment.

Mount Music & Entertainment manages artists in a wide range of genres, including soul, pop, R&B, comedy, and pop country. It specializes in providing an individualized management experience that is designed to suit the needs of each of its clients. Some of the talent it represents include Erin & The Wildfire, a Richmond-based group, and formerly the agency represented Meghan Linsey.

It is one of the many companies that have decided to relocate after being inspired by COVID to consider changes to their business model. During last summer, the company had the opportunity to get to know the music in the area. They became passionate about the city and all it has to offer to those in entertainment, prompting the agency to make the move across country. The Richmond area is gaining fame for its underground music scene. In 2019, Forbes called it “the underground music city everyone needs to visit.”

“We are excited about making the move to Richmond and look forward to expanding our roster and growing as an agency there,” added Mount. “This move and new signing comes at the perfect time, as people are ready to move on and up. This is the next chapter in Mount Music & Entertainment, and we’re ready for it.”

Tall Boy Special is comprised of multi-hyphenate musicians, comedians, actors, writers, directors and producers Alex Kagy, John MacGregor and Zack Barker. They are most recently known for their viral TikTok success, where they have amassed nearly 20,000 followers and 100,000 likes by showcasing their many talents. They are currently working on their first studio album. To get more information about them and get links to their social media pages, visit their website.
