HEADLINING U.S. TOUR KICKS OFF APRIL 7TH IN BOSTON

Singer/songwriter Allan Rayman will release his full-length album, CHRISTIAN, on April 3rd. The record is the latest musical offering from the musician and is available for pre-order HERE.

With over 150 million streams to date, “The Most Mysterious Man in Music” follows a five-year arc to his fourth full-length, CHRISTIAN, produced by GRAMMY Award winner Alex da Kid. It’s the most confident album Allan has made.”

Allan started teasing the highly anticipated album in 2019 by releasing
>“Pretty Please,” “Stitch” and “6AM.” He started off 2020 with the new single, “Chief” which EARMILK proclaimed “an infusion of rap laced with rock-inspired drums.”

Allan recently announced a headlining U.S. tour that kicks off on April 7th in Boston, MA. The tour will debut the artist’s full live band and make stops in 25 cities across the U.S., including performances in Orlando, Santa Fe and Milwaukee for the first time. Tickets and additional information can be found here: http://www.allanrayman.com/

SAYGRACE’s EP The Defining Moments of SAYGRACE: Girlhood, Fuckboys & Situationships

Out Now Via RCA Records.

What the Press is Saying About Saygrace:

“Impeccable…”Here’s to the 22-year-old finally getting the

recognition she deserves””- Idolator

“spotlights the rising star’s rich, bluesy vocals”- Consequence of Sound Bouncing between soulful vocals and spurts of rapping, SAYGRACE gets everything off her chest…“…the songstress changed her moniker and gained a new sense of self.” – Earmilk Listen to SAYGRACE’s Interview with NPR’s “All Things Considered”

About SAYGRACE and “Boys Ain’t Shit” The video for ‘Boys Ain’t Shit’ has already enjoyed over 6 million views, and the single has been

trending on TikTok with over 200k video creations. Watch SAYGRACE’s Genius Verified interview HERE.

“Boys Ain’t Shit” finds SAYGRACE flipping the script on a man who

pushed her to the breaking point — but instead of vectoring in on the problems in their situationship, SAYGRACE turned the track into an anthem for all women who feel like swiping, doing emotional labor, and the interchangeable nature of modern dating is dehumanizing.

SAYGRACE thinks of her lyrics as a message to the younger version of herself, and a message to any woman who needs to hear it; that in a world that’s always trying to shrink you, you can be as big as you want. “As women we’re told all your value is placed on how fuckable you are, but I refuse to accept that as reality,” she says. “What I realized as I got older is that nothing is more powerful than divine feminine energy and when women come together and support each other the possibilities are infinite.” SAYGRACE is all about finding her place and her power as a young woman despite sometimes still feeling like a lost kid in this big world.

Her EP, The Defining Moments of SayGrace: Girlhood, Fuckboys & Situationships, is her manifesto.

Design Tips for Email Newsletters

When you send a newsletter or other communication from your business to your customers by email, you’re sending them something that should represent your company in every way. This means it should mirror your company culture and industry, and it should be a shining example of professionalism. It should also inspire your customers and subscribers to read and act on what you intend them to in your email. All of this is why design is so important and shouldn’t be taken lightly. Here are some tips you can use to better design your email newsletters.

Start with a Header

To see the importance of the header, walk past a magazine or newspaper stand and think about the first thing you noticed. Likely it was the name of each publication, which is essentially their header. That is why the header is so important. It identifies who you are and what readers might expect from your newsletters. It also dictates things like the color scheme and frames your whole email nicely below it, immediately creating a sense of structure.

The header should include your logo and the title of your newsletter if you have one – or the purpose of the email if it’s an alert or service interruption announcement.

Stick to a Color Scheme

Your business likely already has a color scheme, and likely these colors are dictated by your logo. When you design a newsletter, this is no different. When you create headings and titles, use the colors in your logo or header to inform the color choices throughout. This creates a sense of uniformity throughout the newsletter or email and keeps it on brand.

You should also try and stick to common or standard fonts so that the newsletter displays on every device correctly. The last thing you want to do is have a missing font destroy your email’s message or layout. This applies to legibility too. Choose fonts that are easy to read.

Divide Your Content into Sections

Don’t create your newsletter with a big wall of text right under your header. Make sure to break it up into easy to read and well titled sections, so that readers can choose what they want to read quickly. This is particularly important if your email is going to be long or text-heavy. Making use of photos and images is an effective way of breaking up text and borrowing design styles from newspapers will also help. By using font choices that are bold and clear and making extensive use of the best font for email, you can enable great design elements like color backgrounds and white text to make section headings pop out at you.

By designing your newsletters with these tips in mind, you’ll create great looking and easy to read newsletters that will call your customers to action. It’s not difficult to create great looking and comprehensive emails with the tools available online today, so you have no excuse not to fully leverage the marketing power of your email subscriber list to increase and retain business.

LIL MOSEY – BLUEBERRY FAYGO

LIL MOSEY RELEASES VISUAL FOR HIS MASSIVE HIT “BLUEBERRY FAYGO”

Lil Mosey (Mogul Vision/Interscope Records) took the internet by storm with the unofficial leak of his now-massive hit record, “Blueberry Faygo.” Now, as the official release continues to climb the charts with over 150 million global streams, the Seattle rapper is ready to bless fans with an equally enticing video, debuting on Lyrical Lemonade. Directed by Cole Bennett, the visual provides a great deal of escapism as Lil Mosey enjoys a vibrant and sunny pool party. Bennett manages to incorporate everything from synchronized swimmers to an enormous balloon pit as Lil Mosey showcases his more jovial side. The video, shot at the renowned Hype House, also features TikTok influencers Addison Rae and Lil Huddy. Both dancers played a major role in helping the song to go viral. You can watch the video HERE.

Since its February release, “Blueberry Faygo” continues to climb the charts, boasting impressive stats. Jumping 15 slots from last week, the single now sits at #38 on Billboard’s Hot 100. It also holds the #20 position on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart; a 13 slot increase from the previous week. The single is now #3 on the Spotify US Chart. Produced by Callan, the track features a subtle sample of Johnny Gill’s “My, My, My.” An early version of the track ripped through the internet in late 2019 spawning a number of imposters and a detailed write-up in Rolling Stone’s article “The Curious Case of a Leaked Hit.” The situation marked the end of a wildly exciting year for the artist who released his debut album in November before embarking on the duly-titled Certified Hitmaker World Tour. The project peaked at #12 on the Billboard 200 and featured appearances by Gunna, AJ Tracey, Trippie Redd and Chris Brown. In 2018, Lil Mosey released his first project, Northsbest which featured the platinum hit “Noticed” and which laid the framework for the inaugural Northsbest Fest in Seattle. Due to the current global pandemic, Lil Mosey recently announced the postponement of his international headlining tour, originally slated for summer 2020. Fans are asked to stay tuned for rescheduled dates.

RISING ARTIST OLIVER MALCOLM RELEASES NEW TRACK “HELEN” — LISTEN NOW

Swedish born, London raised artist Oliver Malcolm has followed up with a brand new single, “Helen” (out on Darkroom/Interscope Records). The track (LISTEN HERE) is a poignant tale of salvation with staccato beats, blurry blues melodies interlaced with outré samples forming a sonic collage that’s fast becoming a signature of the young artist. Written and produced by Oliver himself, “Helen” follows the release of his debut single “Switched Up” which was critically praised by the likes of New York Times, FADER and SPIN who all went on to call it a masterful debut. Speaking on his sound and inspiration, Oliver has this to share:

“Last year I moved back to England. The song feels gritty and raw because that’s how I felt being back home in that environment. This guy owned a small complex behind an automobile warehouse and agreed to let me make as much noise as I want if I paid him 500 quid. I’d ride my bike back & forth every day with all my equipment in my backpack. This is the first song I made there.” — Oliver Malcolm

ICYMI, WATCH “SWITCHED UP” HERE

Praise for Oliver Malcolm & “Switched Up”:

“A sleek hybrid of rap and R&B” — FADER

“The drums lurch toward the offbeats, some looped guitar picking tugs against that pulse and Malcolm’s voice is a rattled, quavery moan…Everything stays off-kilter for the two and a half paranoid minutes of “Switched Off” by Oliver Malcolm” — New York Times, Playlist

“Oliver Malcolm’s ‘Switched Up’ Is Intoxicating… new single ‘Switched Up’ is a mesh of influences, a confluence of sounds, a mosaic of techniques.” — CLASH

About Oliver Malcolm
Oliver Malcolm got his start early, teaching himself how to spin records at 12 years old. Shortly after, he downloaded Logic and taught himself how to produce – working with IDK, Aluna George, Joey Bada$$, Jay Rock, Masego Tinashe and more. Now twenty, Oliver has developed his own voice. Touching everything from the production, vocals, songwriting, engineering, mixing and mastering, Oliver’s sound is unique and does not fit the mold of one genre. A multidisciplinary at heart, this is just the beginning of music lovers can look forward to from the new artist.

Moby Rich – “Get High”

MOBY RICH RETURNS WITH NEW SONG “GET HIGH” ACCOMPANIED BY OFFICIAL VIDEO

TO TOUR WITH WEATHERS LATER THIS YEAR

LISTEN TO “GET HIGH” HERE

WATCH THE “GET HIGH” VIDEO HERE

“A Desert Dance Party” – Billboard

Today, alt-pop duo Moby Rich drops their latest single “Get High,” accompanied by the official video—listen to the song HERE and watch the video HERE!

Of the song, Connor of Moby Rich says, “In one way or another, we are all looking for a fix. The song is about yearning for a release from the mundane life and the struggle to stay in its pockets of euphoria. The video shoot was wild, and we were happy to be working in nature too. One of the ways we like to release is by getting out of the city, and the video helped facilitate that.”

Maxwell chimes in, “We’re always searching for the next high in our lives. A way to stave off monotony and feel good. Whether it’s sex, food, drugs, religion or a million other things we can use to fill the void, eventually we come down. But we wanted to write a song in which maybe these characters get to stay on that high forever. We tried to tell that story through the video as well, where these characters journey to a distant planet only to find they have a better time there than on earth.”

The Los Angeles-based duo recently announced they will hit the road with Weathers later this year. Stay tuned as new tour dates will be announced soon.

Moby Rich also recently teamed up with Matt Maeson for an acoustic version of their breakout hit, “Yoko Ono.” Stay tuned for more new music from Moby Rich in 2020!

ABOUT MOBY RICH
LA two-piece Moby Rich turn melancholy song craft into bold, pop hooks and visuals. The pair—Maxwell Joseph and Connor Pledger—relocated to LA in 2015 from Indianapolis and Atlanta respectively in search of, well, anything. In a moment of synergy, Connor began attending open mic nights around the town in which Maxwell was living. The pair serendipitously met, began writing together, and realized an identifiable sound between the two them. Writing the majority of their tracks on acoustic guitar, they sing every song in unison, a sort of whole-is-greater-than-the-sum-of-parts attitude, which speaks volumes of their close, almost twin-like, friendship. The first insight into Moby Rich’s unique sound comes in the shape of their 2018 breakout hit, “Yoko Ono () ,” a melancholy pop banger that combines the euphoria of early MGMT with the laidback beat making of N.E.R.D, which was featured on their debut, Our First EP. Following an Australian tour with Broods, the duo released their follow up, Our First Second EP, in June 2019, which includes “Oil Spill” and “Sabotage.” Hot on the heels of a North American tour with Matt Maeson last fall, the duo dropped their empowering anthem, “Loser,” which is featured in the latest installment of filmmaker Kevin Smith’s Jay and Silent Bob Reboot.

Win That Gold Medal During The Running Competition With these Tips

Running is an excellent sport, and it is also very competitive. If you’re looking to enter a running competition or a marathon, there’s so much preparation you need to do. While practice is essential to build your strength and endurance to also help you improve your pace and speed, there are so many other factors that can help you score first place and win that gold medal.
Here are a few tips to guarantee your win.

Running Shoes

One of the biggest factors that contribute to a runner’s speed is the comfort of their shoes. While there are many different types of shoes, it is important to buy the one specific for the function you’ll be needing. That’s because each pair of shoes is designed to take the ergonomics of the foot and the movement related to that specific function in mind. It’s also essential to know what foot type you have to choose the pair of shoes that gives your feet the kind of support and cushioning it needs. If you’re unfamiliar with your foot type, you need to have a better understanding of the kind of support that shoes offer for different foot types. If you suffer from flat feet or overpronation, as this article explains, you will be able to find specific running shoes that tackle this problem and help your feet have neutral pronation while running to improve your posture, foot’s impact on the floor, and avoid injuries. All these factors and the type of shoes you wear will have a great impact on securing that gold medal.

Practice

It goes without saying that in order to win first place, you need to beat a lot of people. You’ll only be able to do that by getting proper practice. In order to prepare yourself for longer distances, be sure to start off small with shorter distances and see how your body feels as well as what you need to improve.

While running other shorter races will help you practice, in order to train for a marathon, you need to do the following.

1. Incorporate Interval Training in Your Running

One of the most effective ways to improve your speed and endurance is to practice interval training in your running routines. You can do this by dividing your 30-40 mins run into 1 min of sprinting and 1 min of slow jogging to start off with and then work on increasing your sprinting time and reducing your jogging time gradually.

2. Include Long Runs Each Week

While most of your running workouts should include interval training to allow your heart to withstand long durations of running periods as well as improve your speed, it is important to build your stamina and force yourself to run long distances at least once a week. This can either be done based on time and gradually increase your pace or focus on distance and gradually increase the distance until you guarantee that you can run the distance, you’ll be competing in one go.

Follow a Strict Diet

Just like any other form of sports, in order to be healthy, you need to make sure you’re eating healthy, too. Because running requires a lot of energy, it is important to ensure you get the required carb intake before your workout and get enough protein after you’re done. That’s because the body uses carbs as energy and helps you perform better during your exercise. As for proteins, it is essential to help the body rebuild and grow stronger muscles to allow you to gain more strength. A few days before your competition, consume low-calorie meals once every  2-3 hours and try to focus on light digestible foods like energy bars and small sandwiches. You’ll also want to stay away from red meat, anything fried, nuts, and dairy.

Remember to Hydrate

Drinking water is essential, but for runners in particular, it is important to remember to stay hydrated. It’s not just a vital factor for health and performance, but it also regulates the body’s temperature, removes waste, and gives your cells the energy it needs to perform its absolute best. Water also plays an important role in preventing injuries as it cushions the joints and reducing cramping. In order to win first place, hydration is key to maximize performance.

Winning a running competition requires determination and consistency. But with the right mindset, attitude and sticking to a strict training schedule, you can really improve your performance. Just remember to check that you’ve got the right shoes that will allow you to maximize your performance and show the world what you’ve got.
