JADAKISS ANNOUNCES NEW RELEASE DATE MARCH 6TH FOR 5TH STUDIO ALBUM, IGNATIUS
NEW DEF JAM ALBUM FEATURES SINGLES “ME”, “KISSES TO THE SKY” AND HIGHLY
ANTICIPATED NEW SINGLE “HUNTIN SEASON”
“The New York hip-hop community is mourning the untimely passing of one of our brightest young stars, and I felt it was best to pause for a moment to come together and reflect. The IGNATIUS album means a lot to me – it celebrates the life of my brother Icepick Jay, another one we lost too soon. It was Jay’s dream for me to collaborate with Pusha T on a new song. The single we’d planned to release together – “Hunting Season” – is a lyrical metaphor about taking out MC’s in the rap arena, and we didn’t want anyone to confuse it with anything else. So out respect for Jay’s memory, for Pop Smoke’s memory, Pusha and I agreed to put this one on hold for a minute. You can hear it when the album drops on March 6th. Listen as it’s intended: two MC’s who love hip-hop, and have a lot of love and respect for the next generation coming up.” – Jadakiss

Stylish Sustainability: Solo New York Launches Re:cycled Collection
Leader in Stylish Everyday Bags Spins Recycled Plastic Bottles into Sleek New Collection; Partners with National Forest Foundation to Replant Forests
Solo New York, a leading, urban-inspired designer of backpacks, totes, duffels, briefs, and sleeves, announced the launch of the exciting new Re:cycled Collection of bags, which debuted at CES 2020.
Each bag in the new Re:cycled Collection repurposes plastic from three to eight plastic bottles, depending on bag size. With the first Re:cycled Collection product run alone, nearly 90,000 plastic bottles will be recycled, keeping them from ending up in landfills.
Taking the initiative a step further, Solo has partnered with the National Forest Foundation to help restore U.S. forests. With every bag sold from the Re:cycled Collection, Solo is planting a tree to help regrow U.S. National forests. The company has also added a pledge page to its website, and an additional tree will be planted for anyone who takes the Solo Green Pledge.
“With the new Re:cycled Collection, we set out to make stylish bags that also do good for the environment. And our designers really sweated the details to make this collection accessible to anyone and everyone who wants to make a difference,” said Serkan Anders, Vice President of Marketing, Solo New York. “To go even further, we’ve since revamped all of our packaging and hang tags which are now also made from recycled materials, and our hang tags are biodegradable. We had to figure out which finishes are biodegradable, and train our suppliers to source those finishes as well as the recycled plastic. It was a challenging yet very rewarding process, and many of our learnings will carry over to other Solo New York products.”
Solo’s Re:cycled Collection will soon be available at major North American retailers and online, further demonstrating that retail partners and consumers are looking for stylish products made with care for the environment. The Re:cycled Collection launches with the Re:vive Mini Backpack (MSRP $24.99), the Re:store Tote (MSRP $54.99) and the Re:move Duffel (MSRP $64.99), and the collection will be expanded with new bags in the Spring of 2020. The full Re:cycled Collection will be on display at CES 2020, including bags not yet in production.
Solo New York’s headquarters building is 100% solar powered, the company has a strict policy of no single-use plastic bottles, and all Solo New York products are shipped in recycled corrugated cardboard boxes.
“Sustainability and our net green impact are part of our brand DNA, and we’re dedicated to moving forward and adding new, more environmentally friendly programs and initiatives every year,” added Anders.
UNVEILS NEW LIMITED-EDITION COLLECTION – “BEL-AIR MIAMI” New Collection Inspired by Founder Will Smith’s Personal & Professional Connections to Miami
Bel-Air Athletics announced the launch of its newest, limited-edition collection – “Bel-Air Miami (Home/Away).” The 24-piece collection is inspired by Bel-Air Athletics founder Will Smith’s longtime affinity for Miami, and is available exclusively at www.belairathletics.com.
“Miami just agrees with me spiritually, vibrationally and emotionally,” said Smith, who has starred in several Miami-themed films and recorded music about the city. “I just believe places have that for certain people and it’s an X-factor.”
The unisex collection features an array of colorful looks, punctuated by tropical hues, animal prints and a color palette that draws from 1980’s and 90’s Miami Dolphins and Miami Hurricanes uniforms. Standout pieces include the ‘Bengal Varsity Jacket,’ which is limited to just 50 pieces; the ‘Alma Mater’ sweatshirt and sweatpants set; the ‘Split-Time Hoodie’ which comes in three color-blocked versions created by cutting apart three sweatshirts and reassembling them; the ‘VK Miami’ tees, which pay homage to Virginia Key Beach as an important Miami landmark to the civil rights movement; the ‘Bel-Air Bengal’ tee, which introduces Bel-Air Athletics’ new mascot for the first time; and the colorful, tiger-striped ‘Bengal Socks.’
The “Home/Away” concept represents the intersection of one’s comfort zone (home) and the excitement/risk associated with new adventures (away). The theme embodies Smith’s personal and professional journey, which started in Philadelphia, moved to Los Angeles, and gained international acclaim in part because of Miami.
“From music to movies, Miami has always been Will’s second home and we wanted to showcase that special connection with this collection,” said Samyr Laine, the Brand General Manager for Bel-Air Athletics. “It was important for us to capture Miami’s distinct look and feel while merging it with our brand’s signature style.”
Smith’s link to Miami began in 1995, when he starred in the renowned film “Bad Boys” as a Miami-based narcotics detective. The success of the film resulted in two more Miami-based sequels – Bad Boys II (2003) and Bad Boys for Life (2020). Additionally, Smith released his smash single “Miami” off his multiplatinum album, Big Willie Style (1997).
Please find collection photos, campaign video, and high-res product images here. Additionally, Miami Heat star and NBA All-Star Bam Adebayo was named one of the ambassadors for the “Bel-Air Miami (Home/Away) and pictures of him in the collection are available here.

Black Atlass (on The Weeknd’s XO label) has shared the video for “Lie To Me” (first new song since 2018). The video follows him and a love interest on a warped trip through an abandoned mansion, wandering through dim corridors and stairwells alongside lyrics expressing the pain of uncovering troubled pasts and yearning to hear lies instead of the painful truth. More is coming for him soon.
The BMW 3 series has always dominated the small luxury sedan market. Jaguar challenges that with the 2020 Jaguar XE. Jags have always been known for three things: driving feel, prestige and presence. In a market saturated with big players from Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Genesis, JLR had no choice but to throw everything including the kitchen sink at the XE. 360 Magazine examined the changes to see if they produced.
Exterior
Known for its dashing looks, Jaguar has been making subtle but effective updates to the current generation XE. In 2020, notice the head and tail lights have been sharpened slightly to give the vehicle a wider and lower impression. These upgrades make the car look more aggressive and imposing. LED lighting is standard in the rear and optional up front. Wheel options are formidable throughout the lineup with sizes ranging from 18” to 20”. In addition, it possesses puddle lights which differentiate it from other compact European vehicles within its class.
Interior
The interior is perhaps the biggest improvement of the 2020 XE. Dominating the center console is the twin screen infotainment/HVAC controls pulled from all other Jaguar Land Rover products. Remarkably, the modernized system brings a new level of intuitiveness missing from prior model years. Quality is a mixed bag, some soft materials and some cheaper with uneven gaps, as usual with the group. An excellent attention to detail is the half-metal stalks coming off the steering wheel. Otherwise, the Jag is mostly unchanged on the inside compared to the outgoing model. Additional features include power adjustable leather seats, dual zone climate control, and a huge panoramic sunroof for an airy experience. Talk about sunshine on a cloudy day. Light shines through to amplify the size of the car.
Technology
First enter the sedan at night for an eyeful of bright and colorful ambient lighting that highlight the contours throughout. Drivers can expect a head up display, 12.3 inch digital instrument cluster, and standard Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The 360 team appreciated a new rear view mirror with a built-in camera similar to GM’s.
Performance
Jag delivered as promised on the most important aspect of a small luxury sedan – performance. As with what seems like every other vehicle nowadays, a 2.0L 4 cylinder turbocharged engine is standard. In the base XE S trim, the engine outputs 247 horsepower and 269 lb-ft torque which is good for a 0-60 time of 6.2 seconds. Step up to the R-Dynamic S trim and the 2.0L engine kicks out 296 horsepower, 295 lb-ft torque, and a 0-60 time of 5.4 seconds. Both trims are built on a lightweight aluminum architecture with a curb weight of 3,385 and 3,560 pounds, respectively. The base trim pushes power to the rear wheels standard with AWD as an option. Engineers also considered aerodynamics heavily while developing this car and have fine tuned it for this model year. The XE has a drag coefficient as low as Cd0.27, which is slightly more than the BMW at 0.26 but still very impressive. This leads to the friendly MPG numbers.
R-Dynamic vehicles come standard with AWD. Standard performance and handling features include brake vectoring, double wishbone front suspension and integral link rear suspension. Optional features include Configurable Dynamics with adjustable steering weight and throttle response, Adaptive Dampers, and bigger brakes and aero treatments. Combine everything and you have a dream handling machine. Fuel economy numbers stand at 25/34 city/highway for the Base trim and 22/30 for the R-Dynamic.
Safety
The XE comes standard with emergency braking, standard cruise control, driver condition monitoring, rear view camera and lane keep assist. The LKA is the variety that nudges the vehicle back into the lane rather than keeping it centered in the lane. Gearheads may not feel comfortable taking hands off the wheel in this vehicle. This is the opposite of most BMW vehicles as their LKA is much more confidence inspiring. With that being said, we are excited for Jaguar’s next generation XE and its updated LKA as it should be top notch. Optional features for the XE include Adaptive Cruise Control with start/stop, High Speed Emergency Braking and Blind Spot Assist. The comprehensive suite of advanced safety technology makes this cruiser feel very sturdy and safe.
To top it off, the XE has powerful brakes and six airbags spread out throughout the cabin in the front, side and rear curtain. This Jag comes in at approximately $40,000 base with the R Dynamic Trim starting at $46,000. After an extensive drive, it’s apparent Jaguar built a real competitor in the true driver’s car market.

About Trolls World Tour Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return in Trolls World Tour, an all-star sequel to DreamWorks Animation’s 2016 musical hit. In an adventure that will take them well beyond what they’ve known before, Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover that they are but one of six different Trolls tribes scattered over six different lands and devoted to six different kinds of music: Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop and Rock. Their world is about to get a lot bigger and a whole lot louder.
A member of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom), aided by her father King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne), wants to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock reign supreme. With the fate of the world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends — Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches) and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar) — set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who’s looking to upstage them all.
Cast as members of the different musical tribes is one of the largest, and most acclaimed, groups of musical talent ever assembled for an animated film. From the land of Funk are Mary J. Blige, George Clinton and Anderson .Paak. Representing Country is Kelly Clarkson as Delta Dawn, with Sam Rockwell as Hickory and Flula Borg as Dickory. J Balvin brings Reggaeton, while Ester Dean adds to the Pop tribe. Anthony Ramos brings the beat in Techno and Jamie Dornan covers smooth jazz. World-renowned conductor and violinist Gustavo Dudamel appears as Trollzart and Charlyne Yi as Pennywhistle from the land of Classical. And Kenan Thompson raps as a newborn Troll named Tiny Diamond.
Trolls World Tour is directed by Walt Dohrn, who served as co-director on Trolls, and is produced by returning producer Gina Shay. The film is co-directed by David P. Smith and co-produced by Kelly Cooney Cilella, both of whom worked on the first Trolls.

SMASH HIT “CAROLINE” NOW CERTIFIED RIAA 5X PLATINUM
Portland-based rapper, artist, director, culture shaker and innovative ingenue Aminé delivers on promise to change perceptions and defy expectations with new track “Shimmy” — dropping today and paying homage to the past* while declaring 2020 as his — “let’s not front, it’s my year my n____.” He redefines his signature visual lyricism, swaggering production, and clever, catchy bars — WATCH OFFICIAL VIDEO HERE, co-directed by Aminé (Adam Daniel) and Jack Begert.
Produced by Boi 1da (“Work” Rihanna/Drake, “No Limit” G Easy, “0-100” Drake among countless others), Vinylz (“Fake Love” BTS, “Deja Vu” J. Cole, “Pick Up The Phone” Travis Scott, “Blessings” Big Sean/Drake/Kanye, “0-100” Drake) and Aminé’s right hand music maker Pasqué (together behind the magic of ‘Caroline’ and more) — “Shimmy” honors with influence and comes equipped with an Ol Dirty Bastard co-sign, sampling the Wu Tang Clan founder’s 1995’s“Shimmy Shimmy Ya.”
Artists who move culture forward create their own. Aminé’s debut LP, “Good For You” [Republic Records — LISTEN HERE] did just that for Portland’s music scene, hip-hop and the culture at large — buoyed by his 5x platinum RIAA certified breakout smash “Caroline” (WATCH HERE), “REDMERCEDES” (WATCH HERE) and “Wedding Crashers” [feat. Offset] (LISTEN HERE). The album which displayed mosaic influence from his parents’ Ethiopian heritage to trailblazers like Kanye West and André 3000, made an instantly indelible impact — scoring a RIAA gold certification, millions of singles streams, Spotify #1s, and 21 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 Songs Chart, peaking at #11. Aminé further solidified himself as a force of nature between explosive festival sets (Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza) and show-stopping late nights (The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Late Night with Seth Meyers). Maintaining this momentum, while owning his subdued profile and preference for an AirBNB wilderness cabin over a posh studio for recording, Aminé released his self-described 2018 EP/LP/MIXTAPE/ALBUM “ONEPOINTFIVE” (LISTEN HERE).
Spring break travel: Three ways to be a more responsible Airbnb guest
Travelers planning an affordable spring break trip should be aware of the “Airbnb effect.” Areas with a rise in Airbnb rentals, for example, often see a jump in housing prices and other negative aspects of tourism, according to the Economic Policy Institute.
Mohammad Rahman, an associate professor in the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University who has studied and written about the home-sharing platform, said the problem goes far beyond housing prices.
For more than two years, Rahman has been studying the prevalence of racial biases among Airbnb guests in New York City. After analyzing millions of Airbnb and Yelp reviews, as well as local restaurant employment data, he found Airbnb guests staying in predominantly black neighborhoods with a rise in Airbnb rentals were more likely to leave reviews with racial keywords such as dangerous, shady and risky. In addition, they were less likely to spend money at local restaurants and were half as likely to make a return trip compared to their predominantly white counterparts.
“From our digging of Airbnb reviews, it seems like people who go to predominantly black areas have a lot more safety concerns versus when they go to predominantly white areas,” Rahman said. “But the reality, when you look at felony numbers and crime statistics, many of these white areas have crime problems, as well.”
Rahman provided these tips to be a more responsible Airbnb guest:
Be conscious of your bias: Rahman currently is studying the prevalence of racial discrimination against black hosts listing a property on the home-sharing platform.
“From my ongoing study, we are seeing some sense of discrimination against black hosts,” he said. “If people can be conscious about that bias and do a little bit more digging before they make a choice, they may be pleasantly surprised. If we can be a little more conscious about our biases as we use these services, I think it might change one out of 50 people.”
Use the power of your dollar: Rahman’s findings show that areas with a rise in Airbnb rentals also experienced a jump in restaurant employment, suggesting guests spent tourism dollars locally rather exploiting residentials areas for cheap lodging and traveling to more traditional tourist destinations. The same economic spillover effect, however, did not take place in predominantly black or Hispanic neighborhoods.
“At least think about going to the local areas and helping them out because you are causing trouble as a traveler going to a residential area,” he said. “You are causing an unnecessary burden on that residential area, so spending your tourist dollars in that neighborhood is certainly useful.”
Share an Airbnb: The home-sharing platform allows visitors to stay in residential areas outside of traditional tourism hotspots with hotels and other lodging options. But renting an entire home rather than a single, private room often defeats the purpose of the service, Rahman said.
“The private room option is a sustainable way of traveling and really makes sure that the true value of Airbnb is preserved. Renting the whole home is essentially a hotel service,” Rahman said. “Now, I understand that’s a much, much bigger ask, but that’s something to consider if you are really focused on being a more responsible traveler.
