Electric Pussycat is a psychedelic bar lounge with major Austin Powers’ undertones. Situated near the Glendale Galleria on 103 E. Broadway. It’s definitely bringing ‘SexyBack’ into LA County as we have all been thirsty for something novel, something exotic. Outfitted with a full bar (upstairs/downstairs), kitchen, designated smoking area, brilliant lighting/sound system and small stage.
Once again BNG (the makers of Supperclub Los Angeles × Project LA) has struck gold as this semi-ghost bar adorns high-end decor: floating chairs w/ tube lights, swirl murals throughout and a firefighter pole (which descends from the second level).

“There is very little doubt that AC/DC is and continues to be one of the most iconic rock bands of all time and it has been a pleasure to collaborate with them. As AC/DC perfectly quoted “let there be light, sound, drums and guitars-let there be rock”” declares Elie Bernheim, CEO RAYMOND WEIL.
“The collaboration with RAYMOND WEIL marks a fantastic opportunity for AC/DC to join the other great music artists such as The Beatles, David Bowie and Frank Sinatra, who have already collaborated with the luxury Swiss watchmaker. AC/DC is delighted to be part of RAYMOND WEIL’s music Icons series. It was essential that the design of the watch represent the tireless energy of the band. The balance between being aesthetically pleasing and mechanically crafted was key in the design process” says Norman Perry, president and founder of Perryscope Productions who along with Epic Rights are AC/DC’s worldwide licensing representatives.
RAYMOND WEIL continues to use music as its key inspiration for both product design and marketing of the Brand worldwide. It carefully selects its music icon partners based on very specific touch points. The honesty and trueness of the design process and intricate detailing placed within each timepiece is what sets the music icons series apart. Nicole Millar is kicking 2018 into gear with her new anthem, “Gimme A Break” via Casablanca Records. Listen HERE. Watch lyric video HERE.
“I’ve never really written anything like this song, which makes me so excited to show everyone,” Nicole says. “It’s basically a girl power anthem telling some dude how it is. It’s based off a story back in my teens of a guy that would message me from the moment I woke up into the night, constantly leaving me no room to breathe. And let’s be real, girls love the guys that ignore us!”
Nicole Millar has had a rapid ascent with previous hit singles “Signals”, “Blindfold”, and amassing over 16 million streams on Spotify. She has flown everywhere from Stockholm to L.A. to work on new music, as well as finding time to tour with Troye Sivan, support SZA. Nicole Millar has more to share soon, but for now give your attention to “Gimme A Break”.
With less than three weeks to go until the release of Alison Wonderland’s new album, AWAKE, comes the ambient single High; featuring Ohio rapper Trippie Redd. The track is accompanied by a mood-enhancing video featuring Wonderland and Trippie Redd and animation by Jayme Lemperle and Evan Red Borja. It was self-directed by Alison Wonderland, with cinematography from Jeffrey Zoss. View HERE.
Wonderland said, “It was a real pleasure to work with Trippie. It is important to vibe with an artist before we collaborate. When he heard this song, it was very organic, and he jumped in the booth and we walked out feeling that we had something special. I felt like this song had a certain spirit and wanted people to feel like they were going on a journey with us….just like when watching the music video.”

“NO ONE DEFEATS US,” THE EXPLOSIVE FIRST SINGLE FROM DREAMS, IS OUT NOW
DREAMS – Comprising Luke Steele Of Empire Of The Sun And The Sleepy Jackson And silverchair’s Daniel Johns – Make Their Live Debut At Coachella On April 13
DREAMS make their debut with the anthemic single “No One Defeats Us”– out today and available HERE– and a pair of live performances at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival (April 13 and 20). The band is the realization of a long-time friendship and musical kinship between two iconic Australian artists – Luke Steele (aka Miracle), the enigmatic front man of Empire Of The Sun and The Sleepy Jackson, and Daniel Johns (aka Dr Dreams), best known as the front man of silverchair.
“No One Defeats Us”isa war cry. It’s like the exorcism of a bad series of events, or a bad dream. The single, written and produced by DREAMS, was recorded at Steele’s studio in Los Angeles and Henson Studios, Hollywood.
Daniel Johns says, “We wanted to go with something first that said, ‘we are here to rip your head off.’ It says lyrically what our goal is. It’s a journey into our vision of the future. ‘No One Defeats Us’ is a very simple song: it has no chorus, it feels like a mantra.”
Luke Steele adds, “The song is the whole genesis of the band. This is where it all started for us. Listen to the first verse – ‘… no one defeats us because we are a spirit, one as a body, the new controversy.’”
The two first met in 2004 when Steele’s band, The Sleepy Jackson, supported silverchair. Johns recalls the connection between them was so instantaneous that, after the first show of that tour, they played piano together backstage – and have basically never stopped.
Steele recalls a long period of “just hanging out” before DREAMScrystalized. “We would catch up and talk about records and visions and dreams and we never got any work done. Then we thought we better make some music,” he says.
Johns explains, “When Luke and I are making music, everything disappears and we become like teenage explorers, we go into our world. We are so brave when we are together, we try things that we might not try for other people. This song is not really what people would expect from Luke and I, we’re not making super-complex music with lots of unusual chords this time. We are trying to paint this really intricate pulse. We find what resonates and try to make that pulse stronger.”
“Dan and I excel and struggle on similar levels” says Steele. “We have so much passion and we are so ambitious. ‘No One Defeats Us’ came from a time when we were beginning the band and we needed something deep. I wanted to build a gang – like a gang of the future. We want the band to be for the common man, the underdog, the homeless, the person who shows love to his neighbor.”
DREAMS will perform “No One Defeats Us”– and other new songs – live for the first time at Coachella.
