ASPIRA SPA RANKED #3 SPA IN AMERICA

Wisconsin Spa Earns Accolade by spa and wellness travel website Spas of America

Aspira Spa, located inside the AAA Four Diamond Osthoff Resort, along the pristine shores of Elkhart Lake, was named the #3 Spa in America, #1 Midwest Spa and #1 Lake Spa in North America by Spas of America in its annual ranking of the Top 100 Spas of 2017.

“The Aspira Spa has been consistently one of our most popular Midwest spa destinations and one of the most sought after Lake & Country spa experiences in the country,” said Craig Oliver, president of Spas of America. “A beautiful location, set on the shores of Lake Elkhart, combined with The Osthoff’s warm hospitality, comfortable accommodations, and delicious dining experiences make the Aspira Spa an ideal wellness getaway.”

In 2017, the trend has shown that consumers have been searching for experiences to relax, reduce stress and invest in one’s health. “Whether guests are traveling solo or in a group, spa and wellness travel offers people a chance to focus on what is most important – their own health and well-being,” said Oliver. Aspira, meaning ‘infused with spirit,’ was borne on the banks of a lake considered sacred by the Native Americans who lived there, bestowing powerful natural energy upon all who encounter it.  When developing signature treatments at Aspira, General Manager, Lola Roeh, aims to highlight the lake’s healing history, stating, “I’ve always felt strongly about offering treatments that have a special connection to the land and the water.”

Signature services, such as the “Grandfather’s Massage,” pays homage to the stones that are gathered and used in ceremony by native healers; these stones, called the “Grandfathers” are heated and placed on the chakras, meridians and reflexology points, bringing deep relaxation, peace and balance.

To celebrate this exciting award, Aspira invites spa enthusiasts and novices alike to experience the spa with a special “The Spa’s Included” package:

VIRGIN MUSICFEST PAINTS THE TOWN RED IN DUBAI

The city of Dubai reels in a slumber usually as the weekends draws closer and closer but something was different last weekend when the city became awestruck at a trove of musicians and artists that wrapped the audience in a frenzy of music and performances.

The country’s number one hit music festival was back for its 5th edition on Thursday 8th and Wednesday 9th at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre held by Virgin Radio 101.4. Among the big names that studded the stage were The Chainsmokers, Russ, Kelli-Leigh and Anthony Touma on Day 1. Day 2 saw the crowd going crazier as artists Kesha, Marshmello, Bebe Rexha and Craig David took on to the stage ascending the profile of the festival to a whole new level.

Popular DJ Dany Neville performed for the closing set as the audience gathered to wish the local radio’s most popular figure-Kris Fade, a very happy Birthday.

Last year, the lineup consisted of Grammy Award winning and multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter Chris Brown who had made his sixth No.1 album entry on the Billboard R&B and Hip-Hop chart with the album titled ROYALTY.

Supporting him was artist Daya with her debut single “Hide Away” and the Australian band-The Veronicas. Electropop, a pop rock duo from Brisbane also made their debut in Dubai last year.

The Virgin RedFestDXB marked a milestone in the country’s history of connecting stellar worldly performances with modern music. The events attracted a massive crowd from both neighboring as well as local regions, full of people dying to catch a glimpse of their favorite social icons and artists.

The Amphitheatre ground was teeming with stalls and sponsors who spent a great deal of time interacting with the attendees, engaging in competitions, drink offs and several other festivities with loads of prizes to give away.

Fans are eagerly looking forward to what the radio group has to offer next year as the performances came to another end.

This is merely the first step. Ricky Martin will be arriving this Valentine’s Day as will Dua Lipa performing some of her biggest hits.

For those in the UAE, the party has just started.

Ebenezer releases ‘Bad Romantic’ EP in time for Valentine’s Day

unnamed

Today Ebenezer delivers his debut EP Bad Romantic plus a visualiser for ‘Stats’ featuring Col3trane, Watch HERE. The visual premiered earlier today via Dummy.  The EP arrives just in time as the ultimate soundtrack for Valentine’s Day.

Bad Romantic grips you from first listen and is a project that warrants multiple playbacks, truly showcasing his own signature UK rap aesthetic. An ode to real romance, the EP jumps from energetic deeper trap sounds on tracks like ‘Till I Die’ and ‘Catch Feelings’ and transitions to slower vibes with more emotive tracks like ‘South of France’ and ‘Nostalgia’, overall rounding this project off as a stunning first EP from Ebenezer. Listen HERE.

“I’m a romantic, but not necessarily the best one! Once you’ve had your heart broken it tends to turn you into a savage, but I’m still trying to be a better person for it.

I made this EP to show the battle between the good side of love and the bad side of love, and how in just a moment you can fall in and out of it” explains Ebenezer.

In a few short years Ebenezer has worked with the likes of Craig David, Jeremih, Ty Dolla $ign and Rejjie Snow. With a string of successful tracks released last year such as ‘F**K IT, ‘Survival’ and ‘Cliché’, Ebenezer carved his own unique path – one of emotionally tinged R&B with hints of trap, completely void of the usual pretence that’s flooded the genre. In a way, it could be described as conscious turn-up music, but without a holier than thou message. This project sets Ebenezer apart from everyone else, as someone from London with a story to tell.

About Ebenezer:

Born in Homerton, Ebenezer spent most of his childhood at a cousin’s house in Hackney along with his brother and sister. While his mother was busy holding down three jobs, Ebenezer and his brother spent most of their free time listening to music, watching MTV Base and learning to produce.

BAD VALENTINE

Aussie rock icon, Sarah McLeod, announces the launch of her fashion label, BAD VALENTINE. The range will debut with a small selection of T-Shirts that project bold statements for the brave at heart. McLeod’s single of the same name will also launch with a video clip featuring models Lola Van Vorst, Tuyamaa Tumenjargal (Miss Mongolia), Natalie Sweete in the reimagined Enchantment Under The Sea scene from Back To The Future! Watch here.

With a penchant for embellishing T-Shirts for stage for many years, and more recently making her own T-Shirts for her solo shows and performances with her band The Superjesus, the calling became an obvious one. An overwhelming number of requests from fans wanting to know where they could get the same T’s was the catalyst to bring BAD VALENTINE to life.

Well known for her palpable energy and strong sense of self, Sarah has never been shy of being bold and brave. Adored for her straight up ballsy rock & roll character, she has moved through her 20 plus years in the media spotlight with a pinch of endearing larrikin, and a fistful of authenticity. ”

BAD VALENTINE is a clothing label dedicated to the celebration of self-confidence, empowerment, and freedom of speech. As Queen Latifah once said: “Be bold, be brave enough to be your true self”.

“I want people to feel empowered wearing these shirts. They are tongue in cheek but also a very powerful tool of self-awareness and confidence. I want people to know its ok to be bold and its ok to be confident and its quite alright to let ‘em all know you feel that way by pasting it across your chest in broad daylight! Yes you may get some funny looks but if you back it up with a smile and spades of conviction, you’ll BE the business.” Says McLeod…

Initial collection consists of the following 7 shirts (in Women’s and Men’s sizes)

BAD ASS
BAD MUTHA FUCKA
WHO’S BAD?
FUCKIN’ UNREAL
BOSS
BAD VALENTINE 69
BAD VALENTINE SKULL LOGO T

Sarah is also gearing up to take Australia by storm in her role as St Jimmy (shared with Grinspoon’s Phil Jamieson, and Magic Dirt’s Adalita) in Green Day’s award winning Broadway phenomenon American Idiot. Check out her knockout performance at the Australian Open recently.

The Nation’s Largest Collegiate Music Festival Returns for The 16th Edition!

#FEST to draw thousands from across the nation to Athens, Ohio.

ATHENS, OHIO — Prime Social Group announces the lineup for the 16th edition of the Nation’s Largest College Music Festival,  #FEST (pronounced The Number Fest). The two-day festival is set to take place April 20-21 in Athens, OH right outside the college-town of Ohio University.

#FEST features a multifaceted lineup mixing some of the biggest names in hip-hop and EDM, with Marshmello, Lil Uzi VertRL Grime and Rezz headlining the bill. The lineup also features Ohio’s own Trippie Redd, Two Friends, GTA, GASHI, YBN Nahmir, Maxo Kream, Justin Caruso, Parker, Buddy, Xie and more.

“#Fest [The Number Fest] turning 16 is a major brand milestone. It speaks to the longevity and significance of the cultural impact #Fest has had on the university experience in the Midwest. Staying on trend with previous year’s lineups, we have pushed the envelope to include one of, if not the biggest EDM headliner’s in the U.S. as well as several Grammy Nominated acts to make 16Fest’s bill our most stacked lineup to date,” founder Dominic Petrozzi said.

#FEST’s 2018 lineup showcases an eclectic, well-thought out roster of chart-topping artists. Billboard Chart Topper  Marshmello heads Saturday’s roster, breaking the recent charts with Popstars Selena Gomez, Migos and Khalid. White helmet and all,  Marshmello is arguably the new face of dance music.

Grammy-nominated “Best New Artist of 2017”,  Lil Uzi Vert, who has taken over hip-hop charts with tracks “XO TOUR Llif3” and “The Way Life Goes”, will carry the rap portion of Saturday’s lineup along with up and coming  Trippie Redd who has gained popularity after the release of “Dark Knight Dummo” ft. Travis Scott.

Headlining Friday of this year’s festival is RL GRIME, known to be the mastermind behind trap music. With over a million Spotify listeners, he has managed to stay a key player in the electronic music scene for years by integrating the vocals of power houses like Miguel and Big Sean. Helping top off the EDM bill for Saturday is  Rezz, who has become a well-known name in dubstep after producing her first studio album “Mass Manipulation” on the Mau5trap label.

“We are always trying to showcase a cutting-edge lineup and bring artists and fans from all different spectrums of music this year we are definitely delivering on that mission,” Prime Social Group Managing Partner Adam Lynn said.

Tickets on sale now at TheNumberFest.com. Tickets start at $40. Single-day tickets and camping options are also available on the website. This event is 18+ and outdoors rain or shine.  Click herefor last year’s video recap.

Specifically, they’ll learn:

•  How to get clear on their potential and purpose, without the overwhelm (no more feeling like it’s just impossible to figure out what to do next!).

• Strategies for profiting from their unique experience, so they can make money living their purpose.

Christina is the perfect person to host this interview series, because she knows what it’s like to wake up every day feeling the resistance that comes from knowing you aren’t on the right path, living your purpose. Her “rock bottom” came while being in a destructive relationship, holding three jobs, and still not having enough money, or enough time for her loved ones. When her little sister passed away, Christina became acutely and painfully aware of our limited time on this planet.

She hired a therapist and a coach to help her recognize her own power and potential. She learned how to become an active creator in her life—a life that would be in service to others. And by doing so, she discovered how to have the stability, flexibility, and freedom in her work that she so desired.

Now, Christina is committed to having it all! She plans her work around her life, not the other way around, and she’s hosting this interview series to empower people to recognize their power, move into their potential, and experience their purpose … so they can live the same life of FREEDOM and SERVICE that she does!

OLYMPICS x LIVE STREAM

The Winter Olympics in South Korea may be 14 time zones removed from the Eastern Time Zone of the US — but 43% of Americans say they plan to watch NBC’s live streaming content during the Games, with only 48% saying they did not have such plans.

A big chunk of the country — 63% — say they will watch at least some coverage of the Games, which begin Friday, February 8.  That is double those who said “no” (31%) to watching any coverage.

“That is a healthy number of people turning to devices other than television,” noted Rick Gentile, director of the poll, which is sponsored by the Sharkey Institute.   “You might call this the breakthrough year for streaming coverage making a big impact.”
