Introducing Al Butler
Albert Butler (hales from Winston-Salem, North Carolina) is a popular on-air personality who believes he is here to change the face of talk radio. Born to the son of an African-American civil rights activist from New York City and a Quaker from rural North Carolina, Albert's diverse and extraordinarily varied life experiences shape his character and it's apparent in the content of his program. This Hampton University Broadcast Journalism graduate is one the of youngest daily talk show hosts in the country. His ease with callers is obvious even as he effortlessly shifts from subjects of world affairs and national politics to pop culture and sports.

His most popular segment is "Relationship Wednesday". Here, he and his guests break down complex issues of the heart. Known for his unique perspectives, sharp humor and strong opinions, Albert has appeared on Comcast's CN8 and local affiliates for FOX and NBC. In fact, his

Even though he's often singled out for his engaging intellect and personality, Al B. has been celebrated for his sex appeal. The Philadelphia Daily News featured him as a "Sexy Single", Urban Insite dubbed him "the Sexiest Man Alive" and Ebony Magazine listed him as one of the "Super Sexy Singles of 2009".

Notable interviews include - (then) Sen. Barack Obama, Gov. Ed Rendell, Bill Cosby, Danny Glover, Lynn Whitfield, Derek Luke, Jill Scott; just to name a few.

Always eager to give back and particularly to support kids anywhere, Butler has spoken at numerous schools and to community groups. He also coaches high school track & field at his alma mater, William Penn Charter School where he once excelled at those same events.

Recently, Albert's thought provoking opinion was shared on the NPR website in reference to the "Racial Hoax involving the two falsely accused African-American men in Pennsylvania". His interview was poignant and captured the true essence of how the hints of racial injustice still linger within today's society.

In addition, Essence Magazine selected Albert Butler from numerous candidates in Philadelphia for the June issue of the "What Men Think" segment. Many of his devout listeners significantly increased due to his charismatic and sincere response. Albert Butler is definitely someone to watch.
