"Chris Mann to the Stage"

Chris Mann's mesmerizing yet romantic sound has made it possible for many to identify him with today's popular and Grammy Award-Winning musicians. The Kansas native joined the High School choir and that's where his hidden talent was discovered. Chris then went on to attend Vanderbilt University where he studied opera and developed a background for classical music. Later, Chris decided to take it to the next level and began performing in a new opera in Lucca, Italy. As time passed, he began to feel unfulfilled with his newfound position in life. And, that's when a special someone (a psychic) told him that his time to shine was near; and he better get the ball rolling. Without looking back, he packed his bags and went off to New York City. He quickly realized that he mastered classical music and opera. Now it was time for him to conquer the world of Pop.
After a few good gigs and hustling to make ends meet, Chris landed his first record deal with Sony Music Group. His adventure began with moving to LA to record his first song. As time proceeded, Chris realized that he wasn't headed in the right direction and decided to leave Sony Music Group. When people ask, What label is he on he responds, MANN fan's Word of Mouth Records! Chris is loyal to his fans and those that support him. It's imperative for him to let his fans know how much they mean to him, especially when it's just Mann and the Fans. He has no problem making any mistakes and allowing them to direct him. Through this humbling time, Chris has become creatively adventurous. One evening, he and Chris Jagich (a good friend) decided to do a remake of Kanye West's Heartless. He received amazing feedback from his fans; and thus, he decided to better trust his instincts. Soon after, he shot a video and allowed his fans to be a part of it. Due to an overwhelming positive response, he knew that his new record should be more organic and less mechanical.
In short, Chris Mann has had many extraneous factors play a major role in both his life and career financial hardship and poor representation. Recently, he had a chance to hit the road with India.Arie. Chris describes her voice, lyrics and message as Gracious. He is forever grateful for the opportunity to tour with one of his musical influences. At this time, he is back in the recording studio preparing songs from his lips to our ears. So, please do not mistake Chris with many other mainstream artists because he is the TRUTH!
